genuinely wondering if rhysand was supposed to be viewed as the good guy for having all the business owners in velaris essentially ban hewn city citizens from entering their stores and giving them business. like imagine they have signs in the windows "no hewn city citizens allowed". this reminds me of something...something that happened in real life....where a certain group of people was demonized by another group...and the government made it legal for them to refuse service to this group of people...

truly i am genuinely surprised lance parkin hasn't published a story wherein the doctor and river have thirteen kids. like he's slacking a little bit there. i mean, it's not like he has the shame and self-awareness to not do it three times since he's already done that exact same plot with both patience and bernice

Wow, learned today that a married couple with shared trauma hugging after a traumatic experience is an egregious display of codependency. /s
Folks, is it unhealthy to love your wife?

one of the other things i hate that this season did - which is not exclusive to this show in any way - is the way it treats droids. like. star wars in general has a huge problem, i think, where droids are alternately treated as characters with thoughts and emotions we're supposed to care about, but then two seconds later we're supposed to think it's funny when something horrible happens to them.
l3 in solo is all about independence and her fate is to have her body destroyed and her mind put into the falcon as literally just the non-speaking navigational computer. everyone is just fine with this. lando is a little sad about it but expresses no doubt that this is the right choice, even though this is absolutely not how she'd want to go out. she's shown to be sentient and passionate and extremely outspoken, all while fighting for droid rights and freedom, and she gets that stripped away from her. it's a fate worse than death.
3po himself, a much beloved character both in and out of universe, gets treated like absolute shit in the rise of skywalker. like. rey and po and finn are just so mean to him the whole time, moreso than usual for star wars i think, and we're supposed to think it's amusing when he gets his mind wiped and acts funny. no one even feels bad for him when he freaks out about it. but it's fine because he's a droid and his memory gets restored at the end!
and now the mandalorian has ig11, who we're supposed to care about because this is the droid who changed din - sorry. DJARIN's mind on droids, getting turned into a suit for grogu to walk around in. and it's supposed to be cute and funny when he runs around bumping into things and it's supposed to be cool when grogu uses it to save his dad, but he's piloting ig11's corpse. he's not alive and was never alive, we know this from chapter 7, but he was a character and we were supposed to care about him - and still are, because we're supposed to celebrate and go yaaaay ig11's back! at the very end of ch24 when he gets revealed.
but isn't it horrifying, how l3's agency was taken away from her so thoroughly that no one knew she existed? isn't it horrifying that characters who are supposed to be 3po's friends aren't bothered by the possibility of losing him forever? isn't it horrifying that grogu pilots around the corpse of the droid who saved his life on multiple occasions?
isn't it horrifying how star wars just decides randomly if a droid is enough of a person for us to care about them?

Harry was dark and eventually became Voldemort’s consort. I remember that Draco was a dick and was in love with Harry. At one point he came before Voldemort with his dad and Lucius said something along the lines of how “there was a mudblood that Draco was going to marry before the mudblood ran off with a lover and got killed” before Harry rebel was himself to them. Harry’s title was the executioner I believe. Also Harry got taken by the order at one point before he was rescued and Voldemort was in a possessive rage. Oh! Harry and his twin were raised separately and eventually they captured the twin and kill him, I think?

Sorry to bother - I lost a tab of someone's art :( It's a deactivated blog, so searching for a rb. But if it wasn't you, you might like it. It's an amazing young Sannin perspective in a narrow Konoha alley, where Jiraiya is about to get jutsu'd by Tsunade. Hoping someone's seen it!
Yeah sorry... I don't think I've seen it 🤔
