This lineup was unparalleled. Elite. The fact they only got one season together is a crime against my very person. I love all three of them so much and the fact that Missy was in an around this troupe made Season 10 one of the best things to ever be made. Favourite Doctor, favourite companions, favourite sympathetic villain. It was, dare I say, a masterpiece.

after clara, bill actually being concerned for her safety and scared of potential dangers seems so—weird?

clara hears danger and runs directly at it while the doctor follows with a smile on his face, bill is trying to make sure they don't get killed.

if the raven hadn't happened, they would have ended up trying to conquer the universe or died on the way; at least they would have been happy and together though.

finally in the Bill Potts era of my first full New Who rewatch, and having some realisations others probably had long before me:

When Clara stubbornly refuses the Doctor mindwiping her, the Doc is probably reminded of that time he violated Donna's consent with a mindwipe (even when it was for her own safety). So this time, at Clara's downright refusal, the Doctor lets her wipe his memories of her instead.

When Bill initially refuses the Doctor mindwiping her after their first adventure, he must be reminded not only of Donna, but also of the pain he feels of missing that Clara person he knows he has lost his memories of. So even when Bill does reluctantly consent to the mindwipe, he doesn't go through with it, because he sees how wrong it is to deny her her precious memories.

And all this makes the recent undoing of Donna's mindwipe more beautiful to me, because it's like the Doctor could finally fix this harm he did to someone he loves and reconnect with her.

When the the doctor tries to wipe Bill's memory, and then she asks him how he would feel if someone did that to him, clara's theme starts playing, and it's such a subtle but devastating reminder that his subconscious is trying to tell him that that did happen, that he lost something important, but he doesn't know what 😔

I've finished the first two episodes of season 10 of Doctor Who and omg I love Bill already 🥰

Just finished the three doctors, and boy oh boy i have thoughts. Mostly how much I love the brigadier. My man really didn't want any of this space crap to happen to him. I rather think that most of the people in the Tardis didn't want to go back to regular life once everything was back to normal. They were all hypnotized by the doctors. Not the brigadier. He was fighting for his life and just wanted to go back to his paperwork 😭✋️
