Key Qualities of a Good Divorce Lawyer
When searching for a divorce lawyer in Nepal, consider their experience, reputation, and communication skills. Understanding Legal Fees
Understanding the cost of legal services is important. Divorce lawyers in Nepal typically charge an hourly rate or a flat fee. Discuss the fee structure with your lawyer upfront to avoid any surprises. Some lawyers may offer payment plans or reduced rates based on financial need.
Conclusion: Securing Your Future
In conclusion, a divorce lawyer in Nepal plays a crucial role in navigating the complexities of divorce. Their expertise ensures that your rights are protected and that you receive a fair settlement. By hiring a skilled lawyer, you can secure a smoother transition and a brighter future post-divorce.

Is there any way someone could rewrite Miraculous Ladybug? The show is very disturbing and predatory to be a kid's show
Sorry for taking so long anon, I had to have bit of a big think about this but I think (and this is only my opinion) but most of the issues stem from the Adrien family business and the A/M dynamic in and out of the suit so hopefully this answers some of your questions anon! :)
I think that as is, miraculous couldn’t be redeemed. To make it an actual, likable and less-predatory show it’d need a whole rebuild, like literally from the ground up, but it’s definitely doable.
So, lets start with the most obvious problem hm? Adrien and the Agreste Family Circus.
Number 1 thing: billionaires are bad and gross, there’s no need for them. Personally I’d make Gabriel a skeevy lawyer who’s like, hired in defense of cops and Mayor Bourgeoise (thus still giving the opportunity for Adrien and Chloe to be ‘bffs’. So Gabriel’s not rich, but he’s still got plenty of spare cash to say, go on a trip to Nepal and steal some magical jewelry for nefarious purposes.
Also we can replace the sad dead/comatose wife plot with a divorce because that’s infinitely funnier and can also kinda be used to change Adrien’s situation too. So we’ve got Emelie and Gabriel divorced (Emelie’s also something like an ARA housewife or smth idk instead of an actress - she’s also from a middleclass family so like her family is looking after her and Adrien or whatever i don’t really care) because Gabriel’s started acting Super Weird after his ‘business trip’ to Nepal.
Anyway, Adrien and Emelie moved across Paris so Adrien’s now going to a different school aka Francois DuPont but he spends the weekends with Gabriel (who’s acting really weird). Adrien’s role as deuteragonist is upgraded from “i’m sad all the time and everyone thinks i’m really really really really really good looking” to trying to cope with his parents’ divorce, coming to terms with his new role as a superhero, and investigating his dad’s increasingly eccentric and secretive behaviour. (we can also add in a bit about the different parental abuse he’s been suffering from both parents if we want to appeal to older teens too.)
With that sorted, we can get into Adrien’s predatory and entitled behaviour next. Him not being a rich model is going to leave him as a more normal kinda person, he’s not gonna have an overblown ego from having people mobbing him all the time (also no bodyguard lol). I’d start out with Adrien being a bit like he is in canon, bit of a self-centered prick really, and then have an Origins type scenario where instead of falling “in love” because Adrien’s meek but also really manipulative, Marinette would not take an ounce of his shite <3.
They can start out as kinda enemies via misunderstanding, but occasionally get glimpses of the other that they really do admire. Like Marinette’s creativity and quick mind, and Adrien can have some kind of admirable trait idk.
Which brings me to the next point: Ladybug and Chat Noir.
MAKE. THEM. FRIENDS. friendship should be the basis of their relationship. i want those two to have a boundless friendship that people would be happy to see become a romantic relationship. because of this, Marinette/Ladybug seeing Adrien/Chat Noir as like a kind of bro best friend or almost brother while Adrien slowly develops a crush on M/L would be peak dynamic.
Now that we’re talking romance, once M’s gotten through to A as civilians they could become friends and M slowly develops a crush on A. So we still get the lovesquare but it’s built off of friendship first and foremost. The changing dynamics would be a pretty easy way to build some character development and would show us that Adrien isn’t perfect and Marinette is right quite a lot (as opposed to canon).
So to sum up: most of the show’s predatory business comes from Adrien and his family’s wealth, no billionaires, show us Adrien recovering from a severe case of Major Asshole, Marinette gets to yell at awful people sometimes and FRIENDSHIP. I know this doesn’t even begin to cover the issues in the show but these are the main ones I think.
#ml#ml salt#adrien salt#chat noir salt#marinette deserves better#this is just the tip of the iceberg but still#long post#asks#anonymous#yeah yeah i know i said i was done but it's a good question!#caps lock#marinette#let marinette be righteously angry 2021

For an IronStrange prompt: Steve is making Tony feel like crap(cause mcu Steve dosent care about feelings) and Tony' s day is just getting worse and worse until strange makes him feel better. [Insert lenny face]
this is gonna be a two-parter!!! also I took some liberties w/ the prompt, I hope you don’t mind!!! next part is the fuckin’ and a wrap up of the divorce lmao
Other Words For “Splitting Up” Part 1
Tony Stark was hard at work in his lab, bobbing his head to Def Leppard as he worked on his suit’s thrusters, tweaking a few things here and there. It was a typical day for him, so far - wake up, have breakfast (coffee), read the paper, check stocks, head downstairs and get to work for God knew how many hours. He was just getting ready for the next step, lunch (coffee) when his music suddenly went quiet, and the doors slid open.
“Hey, what did I say about - “
He fell silent as a stack of papers fell to the nearby work table with a heavy, thick thud. A thud of finality, Tony reflected, as he looked up at none other than Steve Rogers standing before him, hands on his muscle-y, muscle-y hips.
“Uh, hey, Steve. Did you - ?”
“Just read the papers, Tony.”
Tony paused, blinking rapidly for a moment before nodding. “Uh, yeah. Okay.” He set his wrench aside, wiping his hands clean of grease before picking up the top paper off the stack. His eyes immediately snapped back to Steve, his jaw dropping.
“You’re - serving me?”
“Let’s just face facts, Tony. We haven’t been together in a long time. Hell, we haven’t slept in the same bed in years.”
“Uh, yeah, and whose fault is - “
“Stop,” Steve said at once, raising a hand. “This is why I - brought a lawyer into it. Because I’m sick of having these arguments with you.”
Tony scoffed, standing, fuming slightly as he still had to look up at Steve. “Yknow, you wanted to get married in the first place.”
“And now I wanna get divorced,” Steve answered tiredly. “Alright? Just - read the papers, Tony. Please.”
Tony deflated slightly, looking over at the stack on his desk. “I… um. Yeah. I will. Just - leave. Okay? Just get out.”
Steve hesitated for just a moment, looking as if he wanted to say something else. With those damn - puppy dog eyes of his. Tony shook his head firmly, turning away.
“I’m serious, Rogers. Bye.”
He closed his eyes as he heard the doors slide shut, pressing his fists firmly against his forehead. He aimed a kick at his tool box, sending wrenches and screwdrivers flying every which way all over his workshop.
“Fuck!”
He’d known he and Steve were over. He’d known it for a long time. But lawyers meant meetings, and meetings meant going places together, and doing that when they hadn’t been seen publicly together in so long meant press. Press meant stories, stories meant attention, and attention meant Tony being the villain. He could see the headlines already.
Stark Tosses Out All-American Hero!
Marriage Bed Gone Icier than Cap?
Star-Spangled Couple Calls it Quits! Stark’s Riches to Blame?
“Fuck,” he muttered again, folding his arms over his chest with a long sigh. He saw Dum-E and U starting to move towards the tools, and he snapped his fingers to get their attention.
“No, no. Stop. I’ll clean it up, you two - you two take a break. Okay? We’ve all earned a break.”
He bit his lip as he turned back to the papers. “Time for some light reading,“ he mumbled, hefting the stack and heading upstairs, leaving his workshop a dismantled mess.
They’d tried to be discreet.
With the whole - Infinity War thing getting in the way, they’d had to postpone their divorce proceedings for a bit. Tony saved the world - maybe the headlines wouldn’t be so harsh - and Steve helped, providing ground support and a somewhat-trusted ally and go-between for the Wakandans.
They’d tried to be discreet.
Everyone picked up on it. Bruce and Thor, freshly returned, immediately noticed Tony’s wedding band missing, once they’d all joined back together after the mess on Titan. Peter had it figured out minute one, smart kid. Tony wasn’t sure he’d be able to forget the looks of pity on everyone’s faces.
And all of that Thanos shit, on top of getting divorced?
When Happy pulled up to their “secret meeting place” and Tony could already see cameras flashing, he nearly punched his window out. “Are you fucking kidding me?” he muttered, peering out to try to see who was there.
“Captain Rogers must be here already,” Happy groused, equally as displeased.
“Fuck this,” Tony sighed, shoving himself out of the car. He ignored the questions hurled at him by the press, heading inside and meeting up with his lawyer in the lobby of the building.
“I was told there wouldn’t be press coverage? That this was just a - strategy meeting?”
“I’m sorry, Mr. Stark, it would appear - “
“Forget it,” Tony said, waving his hand. “Just - show me where the big guy is.”
————————————
“…and he’s suing me for alimony. Steve fuckin’ Rogers wants my money. What lifestyle did I get him used to? 2018 instead of 1942?”
Bruce offered a tight smile, not sure what to say. “I - dunno, Tones,” he tried, ducking behind the screen he was currently engrossed with. “Maybe he’s just - trying to rile you up.”
“He wants money for his fuckin’ Soviet boy toy is what it is,” Tony growled, swearing as he accidentally caught his finger in a tiny piece of machinery. “No, yknow what? Fuck these blasters. They’re fine the way they are. Fuck me, Brucey, I… What am I gonna do?“
Bruce poked his head back up, shrugging. “I… You’re gonna get through it, Tony. You’re - Tony Stark. You’ve been through worse than a divorce.”
Tony smiled a bit, getting up to stretch. “I’m gonna make a smoothie, and you just earned yourself one. Want one?”
“Sure. The - strawberry one you do. S’really good.”
Tony let his smile grow a bit more, heading over to the little bullet blender he kept in the workshop now.
“So,” Bruce started once the noise had died down and the requisite smoothies had been distributed, “what about that doctor?”
“Hm?”
“Strange. Stephen.”
“Oh. Oh, him,” Tony said, setting his cup aside. “I mean, well, yknow. We - hooked up. Once or twice.”
“Yeah?”
Tony nodded. “Uh huh.”
“And what’s he like, then?” Bruce asked.
“Are you a middle school girl?”
Bruce shrugged. “It’s taking your mind off of Divorcee in Chief.”
Tony sighed, fiddling with his smoothie straw. “He’s… really smart. Like, wickedly smart. And he’s funny! He makes me laugh every time I’m with him, like when we get coffee or whatever. And he’s a monster in bed. Present company excluded.”
“Har, har.”
“I dunno if this is TMI, but - Bruce, I nearly wept. That is how insanely good the sex was. It’s like he was in my head, but I wasn’t - afraid, yknow? He just paid attention to everything I wanted.”
“It’s a little TMI.”
Tony snorted, giving Bruce a look. “I had to hear about it from Thor the first time you guys slept together. I’ve earned this.”
Bruce flushed. “Sorry about that. Again.”
“Hey, yknow what? It’s all good. We’re just a couple of friends, shootin’ the shit.” He turned back to his blasters, poking at the metal a bit before sighing. “I just… I’m trying not to get too involved in anything, yknow? Until me and Steve are done, and - for a while after that. So I don’t fuck anything up.”
“Hey,” Bruce said, reaching out to pat Tony’s arm. “I get it. And I’m here. For - when you need to talk. Unless it’s about wizard sex, then I’ll have to pass…”
“Alright, Banner. I get it,” Tony laughed, getting back to work. “Thanks, pal.”
“Always, Tones.”
————————————
It all went downhill from there.
Meeting after meeting after meeting. And every time, Tony seemed to get there last, and the press was waiting to pounce. He refused to give Steve any kind of money - after the little stunt in Siberia? He was lucky that Tony hadn’t filed, that Tony had wanted to avoid publicity. And to what end did he owe Steve money? Sure, he’d had Stark Tower back then, sure, but he hadn’t spoiled Steve. By any stretch of the imagination.
And that’s why Steve was dragging this out. Tony just knew that it had to be the reason.
And it was starting to work. Tony was getting tired of fighting, and tired of being hounded by paparazzi and cameras everywhere he went.
He was having trouble sleeping, and he kept reading over the documents again and again, trying to figure out what the hell he was going to do. He was currently locked up in his workshop again, bent over his workbench with his fingers tangled tightly in his hair, his eyes scanning over sentences he’d read a thousand times already. How much longer could this go on for?
“Tony?”
He jumped up, scattering the papers over the floor. He turned quickly, sagging with relief when he saw who it was.
“Stephen. Thank God for you.”
He marched over to the sorcerer, planting his face in the middle of the other man’s chest. Stephen’s warm hands came to rest gently on the back of Tony’s neck, kneading at the muscles there.
“You’re so tense,” Stephen murmured.
“It’s my soon-to-be-ex husband,” Tony explained, nuzzling against Stephen’s robes. “Mm, you smell so good… Like a spice market…"
“Was in Nepal this morning,” Stephen said, smiling a bit. “Everything okay?”
“No,” Tony answered bluntly. “I get voicemails from Steve every twenty fucking seconds asking if I confirmed for the next meeting or not. He’s got this huge sum of money he wants hanging over my head, and - on top of all of that - he’s out parading around with that - monster, and no one seems to be risking their journalistic integrity to print the truth! At least I’m keeping us somewhat quiet.”
Stephen let Tony vent, settling down on a nearby work stool. He nodded as he listened, watching Tony pace back and forth, pushing down thoughts of how cute he was. So little.
“Sorry,” Tony sighed, noticing Stephen listening. “I just… I’m really strung out over this. Yknow?”
“Need a bit of… Stress relief?”
Tony stopped talking mid-sentence, turning to face Stephen. His pupils dilated almost instantly, and he was on the sorcerer in a second. “Please. God, please.”
“My place,” Stephen urged. “Quieter. Further away from the cameras.”
“Take me away, magic man.”
Stephen smiled, opening a portal and pushing Tony through, immediately pinning him to his bed.
“Oh, I intend to, Mr. Stark.”

Best of BBC First 2018 with a cheeky look at 2019
By Alexandra Wilbraham
First published in Dutch translation: https://www.bbcbenelux.com/blog/?article=bbc-first-benelux-best-of-18-19
Joy to the world and welcome to our round-up of BBC First’s best of 2018. Prepare to get festive as we celebrate a fantastic year of BBC series. Stick around to the end to find out what amazing new content you can look forward to in 2019.
So, pull on your Christmas jumper, the one you keep stashed away at the back of your wardrobe and pop on a Santa hat. Make yourself hot cocoa, go the whole hog and decorate your beverage with whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate shavings. Light some cinnamon candles and snuggle up on the sofa as we dive into the pile of presents this year had to give.
In the first month of 2018, the BBC gave to me! Well, it kind of works. January started with fireworks and a new series of Silent Witness. First broadcast in 1996, the series has seen many cast changes over the years. Series 21, however, saw the return of the amazing Emilia Fox as forensic pathologist Dr Nikki Alexander. She and her dedicated team (Liz Carr, Richard Lintern, David Caves) work closely with the London police to solve a slew of mystifying murders. Sometimes the best witness is a dead one.
Travelling back in time, if I can remember where I parked the T.A.R.D.I.S., to London in the early 1960s, we were again joined by the nuns and nurses of Nonnatus House convent. As they provide care to the expectant mothers of London’s East End, they find themselves tested both personally and professionally. Series 7 of Call the Midwife puts a bit of a downer on the festivities as we said goodbye to the beautiful Barbara (Charlotte Ritchie) whose grave, decorated with a red rose and toy carousel, we lingered on in the poignant final moments. However, with sadness comes joy and we saw both new and familiar faces appear at the convent. Leonie Elliot (Black Mirror) joined the cast as Caribbean midwife Lucille Anderson and a return of Nurse Trixie (Helen George) was heavily hinted at.
Guess what, we’re still in January! But we’re off on our first holiday of the year as we join Detective Jack Mooney (Ardal O'Hanlon) on the sun-soaked island of Saint-Marie. Peaceful isn’t it? Sadly not. Because, even in the beautiful Caribbean, crime will always spoil your day. Series 7 of Death in Paradise has Jack rise to the challenge in a bid to impress the commissioner and make his mark on the island. Luckily, he has his team to support him as he has some almost impossible mysteries to uncover.
Wake up! We’re back from our island vacation and straight into February. Before heading back to city life, we get to spend some time in the English countryside, rolling hills dotted with small villages, rural parish churches and large country houses. There is also a fair bit of murder.
Don’t worry though, as series 6 of Father Brown sees Mark Williams (Harry Potter) return as the charming local priest and amateur detective. Although he is at risk from old foe Katherine Corven, who looks for revenge on Father Brown when she is suddenly released from prison. I think we should move on to March and hopefully, we’ll find ourselves in a safer environment.
To sleep, perchance to dream as March arrives with a series completely new to the BBC – Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators. No, not William and Anne. Although this comedy-drama mystery is filmed in Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon. Two well-known TV faces, Jo Joyner and Mark Benton, star as chatty ex-hairdresser Luella ‘Lu’ Shakespeare and out-of-shape and short-of-money private inspector Frank Hathaway. The highly unlikely and hugely entertaining detecting duo quickly discover that all is not as peaceful as it seems in their picture-perfect theatre town.
Brace yourself. Our next March series drops us straight to the front line of series 3 of Our Girl. We do get to travel internationally, but this is no holiday. Series 3 takes female army medic Georgie (Michelle Keegan) and the tightknit unit of soldiers in 2 Section from a humanitarian mission in Nepal, across Afghanistan and to a Nigerian refugee camp. With the arrival of old flame Elvis (Luke Pasqualino) and new recruit Maisie (Shalom Brune-Franklin) tugging at her sleeve, Georgie must face the highs and lows of army life while also fighting her own personal battles. As the soldiers face kidnapping and assassination attempts, they have to confront the ultimate battle: head versus heart.
May the merriness be with you. Or rather the conflict, since this family is already in the divorce court before the relationships start crumbling. New family drama The Split follows Hannah Defoe (Nicola Walker), a member of a family who all work as divorce lawyers in the same firm. Following a bitter argument, Hannah takes a new job at a rival firm where she reconnects with the only other man she ever imagined sharing her life with, and her estranged father returns after 30 years. It sounds exhausting but makes for a smashing series.
Ring the bells everyone! The month of June means we are halfway through our TV year. A perfect time for the first Agatha Christie story to be adapted for the BBC by screenwriter Sarah Phelps, who also penned the script for J.K. Rowlings’s A Casual Vacancy. A wealthy philanthropist is murdered and her son Jack dies in prison, accused of her murder. A year later, a mysterious stranger arrives to prove Jack’s innocence. If his story is true, the murderer is still in the family. In one of Christie’s most satisfying stories, the cast presents a host of well-known faces, including Bill Nighy and Anna Chancellor. Murder, plot twists and a fantastic cast. Can it get any better?
It most definitely can! September brings with it the second instalment of Christie magic. Now, how well do you know the person next to you? It’s the question that made Agatha Christie the best-selling novelist of all time. And Then There Were None sports an all-star cast, including Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) and Aidan Turner (Poldark). Ten strangers, each accused of a terrible crime, are lured to an island mansion and quickly find themselves at the mercy of their unknown host. And Then There Were None has seen many adaptations, but this is the first screen version to include Agatha Christie’s original, less cheery, ending.
It’s time for the home stretch everyone! With October we welcome a third Agatha Christie series. In Sarah Phelps’s second Christie adaptation for the BBC, the cast is headed by Toby Jones and Kim Cattrall. Witness for the Prosecution is the perfect Film Noir for a 1920s London. It’s a thrilling two-part drama about the murder of the rich and glamorous Emily French. All evidence points towards her young lover Leonard, but how will the jury decide?
The cold days and Idris Elba go together like bread and butter, or an attractively greying beard and a warm woollen coat. In Series 4, Luther introduces himself very non-dramatically: ‘There are some things you might have heard about me that could be true.’ If that is how Luther introduces himself to his colleagues, you should take care not to become his enemy. After a leave of absence living a reclusive life on the English coast, Luther is back in London on the trail of a cannibalistic killer, while also attempting to uncover the truth behind Alice's apparent death. With trouble following him wherever he goes, the case is fast becoming a test that will push Luther closer to the edge than he’s ever been before.
There we are. 2018 is all wrapped up, but there are more presents under the tree. 2019 is just around the corner and there is so much BBC content to look forward to. Why don’t you have a peek?
In 2019, fans can look forward to Emilia Fox’s 14th outing as Dr Nikki Alexander. Cast members David Caves, Liz Carr and Richard Lintern are also confirmed to return. Although not much is known about the 22nd series, actor Richard Lintern has said the new series will focus on bringing in London more as a character than has been done before.
New year, new Call the Midwife. Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes, who will always be Professor Sprout to me, joins the cast for the Christmas special and the first episode of series 8. Fenella Woolgar (Victoria & Abdul) and Ella Bruccoleri (Genius: Picasso) move to Poplar as newcomers Hilda and Frances and (yeah!) Helen George returns as Nurse Trixie Franklin.
In series 8 of Death in Paradise, Shyko Amos joins the cast as officer Ruby Patterson. She has, what shall we say, a unique take on crime fighting. From a local radio DJ murdered while live on air to a zookeeper killed by a poisonous dart, Jack and his team definitely have their work cut out.
Welcome back to the beautiful English countryside. Let’s just take some deep breaths of fresh air and ignore Father Brown trapped outside on what is a dark and stormy night, with a murderer on the loose. Don’t bother yourself with the kidnap of Lady Felicia and Mrs McCarthy. I’m sure everything will be fine.
A new adaptation of Victor Hugo's 19th-century classic Les Misérables is packed full of big-name actors and this time none of them has to sing. A brave choice, considering the success of the long-running musical and Oscar-winning Hollywood film. Dominic West will lead the cast as Jean Valjean, with David Oyelowo as the obsessed and villainous policeman Javert. Olivia Colman takes on the role of the abusive Madame Thénardier, while Lily Collins will play Fantine. Adapted by Andrew Davies (War and Peace, House of Cards), the six-part drama will delve deeply into the story of love, revolution and survival, vividly bringing to life the vibrant and engaging characters.
When you manage to book Richard Geer (Chicago, Pretty Woman) in his first major television role for 30 years, you’d better have a story to match. MotherFatherSon is an eight-part original drama created and written by Tom Rob Smith (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story). The story revolves around the toxic relationships of a mother, a father and, err, I forget the last one. Anyway, Gere plays Max, the owner of one of the world’s most influential media empires. When his son Caden’s (Billy Howle) self-destructive lifestyle spirals out of control, he and his estranged wife Kathryn (Helen McCrory) have very different ideas about how best to support him.
And finally, he might not be sporting Hercule Poirot’s trademark moustache, but John Malkovich as the iconic detective is already heading the list of 2019 must-watch television. Malkovich is joined by a collage of well-known faces, including Ron Weasley, I mean Rupert Grint, as Inspector Crome. 2019 sees the adaptation of the ABC Murders by the incomparable Sarah Phelps.
Poirot faces a serial killer known only under the alias ABC. Using the British railway network, the killer strikes methodically, leaving behind nothing but a copy of the ABC railway guide. Poirot must find a way to match his nemesis and, in the process, everything about him will be called into question: his authority, his integrity, his past, his identity.
And finally, that’s 2018 dusted off and stored back in the attic. I hope you enjoyed our little excursion through the best of BBC First. With 2019 almost upon us there is so much more amazing BBC content to come. What were your favourite series and moments of 2018? Are you looking forward to a fabulous 2019 on BBC First? I definitely am.
From me and all of us at the BBC a very merry festive season and a happy new year!

Jenny Slatten from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is defending her partner, Sumit Singh, from TLC viewers fed up with his excuses to not get married. Fans have given up on all hopes of seeing 90 Day Fiancé cast member Sumit marry Jenny after the great lengths he’s going to avoid it in season 3. In just the premiere, Sumit claimed his passport was missing as Jenny’s visa extension request got denied, and in episode 2 of TOW, an immigration lawyer revealed she could join ISKCON to get a missionary visa. However, fans are now also mocking Jenny for using religion as a loophole to be with a man undeserving of her.
Although Jenny’s application getting rejected was merely a glitch, the incident showed a side to Jenny that fans never knew existed. With Sumit’s Nepal plan going down the drain due to the pandemic, Jenny would have to go back to the United States while wondering when she’ll come back again. The lawyer asked Jenny if she was okay with giving up her American citizenship. But a different option involves her applying for a missionary visa, which Jenny began considering, even though she’s not religious. Several 90 Day Fiancé fans online called out Jenny for attempting to scam the immigration system by pretending to be a follower of Lord Krishna.

However, Jenny was not in the mood to listen to any criticism when it came to her choice of religion and also of Sumit. In a Facebook post, Jenny wrote a scathing message to her haters. “Wow some people with their comments about Religion need to Educate themselves. Just wow,” Jenny posted. She also had a share of sassy replies reserved for fans who still told her to go back home and dump Sumit. One 90 Day Fiancé viewer commented that since Jenny had “put herself out there everyone has their opinion.” According to the fan, the “scripted show” was making Jenny look “desperate” to stay in India, while it also appeared that Sumit is “not doing anything” to stop her from going back either.
“Wow yeah I understand,” wrote Jenny while also trying to explain that “Sumit has done a lot” for her already, including getting divorced and going against his conservative family and culture. “You come to this country and let’s see what your [sic] able to do,” Jenny clapped back at the critic and reassured them that Sumit is “better” than what they know about him via TV. In a different Facebook post, Jenny wrote, “Trust me Sumit is the best,” to a fan who asked her to find someone who actually deserves her. “You only see what they want you to see,” Jenny argued.
It’s likely that Sumit and Jenny’s woes will continue well through 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 as spoilers suggest his mother, Sahna, will move in with them soon. With Sahna already not being a big fan of Jenny, and her son revealing that he’s scared of marriage after his previous disastrous marriage, the American grandmother may have to resort to alternative means. A preview for the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way shows Jenny practicing her “Hare Krishna” chants with much difficulty. Will seeing the many troubles Jenny is going through just to be with him make Sumit change his mind about getting married?

‘Hindu Devotional Dance’ (Part 3 of 3)
I had the same routine every day Arun was in prison. In the morning I would dance three hours. Then I would drive to the prison and pay a daily bribe so I could enter the prison and give him lunch and clean clothes. Then I would go to the lawyer and hear the latest on the defense case. Then I would give Arun’s sisters and family an update. After two years in prison they let Arun go, only charging him with a misdemeanor.
While Arun was in prison his wife divorced him. As soon as he got out of prison I was notified I was being deported. They literally nailed a paper to my front door telling me I had to leave the country immediately. It was clear they were deporting me to punish Arun. We got married because we thought it might stop the deportation, but it didn’t make a difference.
Since Arun had been charged with a misdemeanor the government confiscated his passport. When I was deported I decided to live in Kathmandu, Nepal because you only needed a driver’s license to travel there and Arun could see me whenever time allowed.
I tried to put my life together in Kathmandu. I explored every jungle and every mountain. I climbed Everest to 16,000 feet. But acclimating to life there was challenging because the Cold War was going on and all foreigners were suspected of being spies. I worried that my deportation from India might be misconstrued if I were to ever be considered a ‘suspicious person.’ I didn’t want to get deported from Nepal too so I kept on the move, which made acclimating to life there very stressful.
In the meantime Arun got increasingly nasty and jealous that we were spending time apart. When I asked him why he was jealous, he told me he’d had me ‘watched’ the entire time he was in prison. One would think he would then know that I honored the relationship – but it turns out that people who are not trustworthy are distrustful themselves. A few weeks later friends from India told me he was chasing every woman in sight. I was shocked and confronted him with the news.
“What is a man to do?” He said. He went on to say that if I had been there, it wouldn’t have happened. Somehow everything was my fault. This turn of events hit me like a hammer. I was very much in love and attached, but I knew I couldn’t stay with him any longer.
“If you leave me I’ll make your life miserable!” He threatened.
“More miserable than you've already made it?” I said. “This is how you talk to the woman who brought you lunch every day for two years while you were in prison?”
Believe it or not I could have forgiven him for everything but not for the mean spiritedness. I left him.
Hindu devotional dance is a rich expression of delight about being alive and linked to God. It shows you all the beauty of life in its magnificent variety. Despite everything around me continuously falling apart in India, I went there to gain a philosophical foundation from dance and I got it. Those lessons permeated my being. When I finally left Kathmandu and returned to the United States, it took time, but eventually I realized I had gotten everything from India that I had gone for.

Divorce Lawyer in Nepal: Comprehensive Guide for 2024
Understanding Divorce Law in Nepal
Divorce in Nepal is governed by the Muluki Civil Code, 2017, which replaced the Muluki Ain of 1963. The law outlines the grounds for divorce, the process to be followed, and the rights of the parties involved. Understanding these provisions is crucial for anyone considering divorce in Nepal. In this guide, we provide an in-depth analysis of the legal framework, the role of divorce lawyers, and essential tips for navigating the divorce process.
Grounds for Divorce in Nepal
Under the Muluki Civil Code, divorce can be sought on several grounds. These include:
• Mutual Consent: Both parties agree to the divorce.
• Cruelty: Physical or mental cruelty inflicted by one spouse on the other.
• Adultery: Infidelity by either spouse.
• Desertion: One spouse abandons the other for a continuous period of three years.
• Mental Disorder: If a spouse is suffering from a severe mental disorder.
• Impotence: If a spouse is impotent and unable to consummate the marriage.
Understanding these grounds helps in preparing a strong case for divorce and ensures that the rights of both parties are protected.
The Role of a Divorce Lawyer in Nepal
Divorce Lawyer in Nepal plays a critical role in navigating the complexities of divorce law in Nepal. Here are some key functions they perform:
Legal Consultation and Advice
A divorce lawyer provides expert legal advice tailored to the specific circumstances of the client. They explain the grounds for divorce, the legal implications, and the potential outcomes.Document Preparation and Filing
The divorce process involves significant paperwork. A lawyer ensures that all necessary documents are accurately prepared and filed on time. This includes the divorce petition, affidavits, and evidence supporting the grounds for divorce.
Representation in Court
A skilled divorce lawyer represents the client in court, presenting the case effectively to achieve a favorable outcome. They handle all court procedures, from filing motions to arguing cases before the judge.
Negotiating Settlements
Divorce often involves disputes over property division, alimony, and child custody. A lawyer negotiates settlements that protect the client's interests, aiming for amicable resolutions whenever possible.
Steps to File for Divorce in Nepal
1. Consultation with a Divorce Lawyer
The first step is to consult with a reputable divorce lawyer who specializes in family law. This initial consultation helps in understanding the legal grounds for divorce and the process involved.
2. Preparation and Filing of Petition
The lawyer prepares the divorce petition, outlining the grounds for divorce and other relevant details. The petition is then filed in the appropriate court.
3. Serving the Petition
The divorce petition must be served to the other spouse. This is a legal requirement to ensure that the respondent is aware of the proceedings.
4. Response from the Other Spouse
The respondent spouse has the opportunity to reply to the petition. They can either agree to the divorce or contest it, providing their grounds for opposition.
5. Court Proceedings
If the divorce is contested, court hearings will be scheduled. Both parties will present their cases, and the judge will make a ruling based on the evidence and arguments presented.
6. Final Decree of Divorce
Once the judge is satisfied with the grounds for divorce, a final decree of divorce is issued, officially dissolving the marriage.
Key Considerations in Divorce Cases
Property Division
Nepalese law provides for the equitable division of marital property. Both parties have a right to a fair share of the assets acquired during the marriage. A divorce lawyer helps in negotiating a fair division, considering factors such as the duration of the marriage, contributions of each spouse, and future needs.
Alimony and Maintenance
Alimony, also known as spousal support, is financial support provided to the lower-earning spouse post-divorce. The court considers various factors, including the length of the marriage, the financial status of both parties, and their future earning capacity. A skilled lawyer ensures that the client receives or pays a fair amount of alimony.
Child Custody and Support
Child custody is a critical issue in divorce cases involving children. The court prioritizes the child's best interests, considering factors like the child's age, health, and emotional ties with each parent. Child support, on the other hand, involves financial contributions from the non-custodial parent to cover the child's living expenses, education, and healthcare.
Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution
In many cases, mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods are encouraged to settle disputes amicably. These methods are less adversarial and can result in quicker, more amicable settlements. A divorce lawyer can facilitate mediation, helping both parties reach an agreement without lengthy court battles.
Choosing the Right Divorce Lawyer in Nepal
Selecting the right divorce lawyer is crucial for a successful outcome. Here are some tips for choosing the best legal representation:
Experience and Expertise
Look for a lawyer with extensive experience in handling divorce cases. Their expertise in family law and familiarity with the legal system in Nepal can significantly impact the outcome of the case.
Reputation and Reviews
Check the lawyer's reputation and reviews from past clients. Positive testimonials and a strong track record indicate reliable and competent legal service.
Communication Skills
Effective communication is vital. Choose a lawyer who is responsive, listens to your concerns, and explains legal terms clearly. This ensures you are well-informed throughout the process.
Cost and Fees
Understand the lawyer's fee structure. Some lawyers charge a flat fee, while others bill by the hour. Ensure there are no hidden costs and that the fees are reasonable for the services provided.
Conclusion
Divorce is a challenging process, but with the right legal guidance, it can be navigated effectively. A skilled divorce lawyer in Nepal provides the necessary support, from initial consultation to final decree, ensuring that the client's rights are protected throughout. By understanding the legal framework, grounds for divorce, and key considerations, individuals can make informed decisions and achieve the best possible outcomes.

In Nepal, the legal system surrounding divorce can be complex, requiring the expertise of a qualified divorce lawyer. Whether you're considering filing for divorce or responding to a divorce petition, choosing the best lawyer for your case is crucial.
Understanding the Legal System in Nepal
Overview of Nepal's Legal System
Nepal's legal system is based on a combination of civil law, common law, and customary law. The legal framework governing divorce is primarily outlined in the Nepal Marriage Act and the Nepal Civil Code. These laws establish the procedures and requirements for obtaining a divorce in Nepal.
Role of Lawyers in Nepal
Best Lawyer in Nepal plays a significant role in guiding individuals through the legal process, providing legal advice, and representing their clients in court proceedings. In the case of divorce, a skilled and experienced lawyer can ensure that your rights are protected and that your interests are advocated for effectively.
Importance of Choosing the Best Lawyer
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Divorce Lawyer
When searching for a Divorce Lawyer in Nepal, several factors should be taken into consideration to ensure that you find the best legal representation for your needs.
Experience and Expertise
One of the most important factors to consider is the lawyer's experience and expertise in handling divorce cases. An experienced lawyer will be familiar with the intricacies of Nepal's legal system and will have the necessary skills to navigate complex legal issues.
Reputation and Track Record
Additionally, consider the lawyer's reputation and track record. Look for reviews and testimonials from previous clients to gauge the lawyer's reputation and success rate in handling divorce cases.
Services Offered by Divorce Lawyers
Legal Consultation
One of the first steps in the divorce process is seeking legal advice and guidance. A divorce lawyer can provide you with an initial consultation to discuss your case, answer any questions you may have, and outline your legal options.
Representation in Court
If your divorce case proceeds to court, your lawyer will represent you and advocate for your interests during court proceedings. Having skilled legal representation can significantly impact the outcome of your case.
Mediation and Negotiation
In some cases, divorcing couples may opt for mediation or negotiation to resolve their differences amicably outside of court. A divorce lawyer can facilitate these discussions and help you reach a mutually agreeable settlement.
Finding the Best Divorce Lawyer in Nepal
Research and Referrals
Start your search for a divorce lawyer by conducting thorough research and seeking referrals from trusted sources. Ask friends, family members, or colleagues who have gone through a divorce for recommendations.
Online Reviews and Ratings
Take advantage of online resources to read reviews and ratings of divorce lawyers in Nepal. Websites such as Google, Yelp, or legal directories can provide valuable insights into the experiences of previous clients.
Initial Consultation
Once you've narrowed down your list of potential lawyers, schedule initial consultations to meet with them in person. Use this opportunity to discuss your case, ask questions, and assess whether the lawyer is the right fit for you.
Cost of Hiring a Divorce Lawyer
Understanding Legal Fees
Before hiring a divorce lawyer, it's essential to understand the cost involved. Legal fees can vary depending on the complexity of your case, the lawyer's experience, and the services provided.
Fee Structures
Divorce lawyers may charge fees on an hourly basis, a flat fee, or a contingency basis, where the fee is contingent upon the outcome of the case. Discuss fee structures with potential lawyers to ensure transparency and avoid any surprises.
Importance of Transparency
Finally, choose a lawyer who is transparent and upfront about their fees and billing practices. Clear communication regarding costs and expenses will help you avoid misunderstandings and ensure a smooth working relationship.
Conclusion
Choosing the best divorce lawyer in Nepal is a critical decision that can have a significant impact on the outcome of your case. By considering factors such as experience, reputation, and cost, you can find a lawyer who will provide you with the guidance and support you need during this challenging time.
