The new Disney Villains Cursed Café game has some pretty Twst-coded dialogue 😭 There’s a ton more iconic lines than just this; I just picked some of my favorites from the first few days of gameplay to edit with some of the OB boys + some staff!

I think it’s really funny that they don’t have Malleus and Ace be on Halloween events at the same time anymore because the last time they were, this happened:

Little late night thought (I am not a writer, my portrayal of the character may be off and I apologize. Don't smite me):

Yan!Batfam x Neglected!Reader but Reader is Yuu from Twisted Wonderland. So how I imagine it would go is how every neglected!reader fic begins, the biological father (Ol' Brucie) picking them up and passing them onto Alfred or Alfred picking reader up. Either way, reader lives at the the mansion and has seen all of the Batsibs at their worst and at their best.

They were brought in maybe around the same time as one of the Batboys in their robin era, most likely around Tim's cuz students at Night Raven College are usually around 16-18 (20 if you count Leon and don't get me started on Malleus and Lilia). Anyways, plot ensues. Reader does their best to get attention, Batfam ignores them or pushes them away or in Damian's case, terrorizes them.

It's a nightmare for you but as the years go by, you slowly get used to being on the sidelines and just waiting until they can legally get the heck outta Gotham. That plan goes to shit when one rainy day, Alfred is too busy with the boys so you get stuck waiting until it starts to get dark and begin walking. Just as you begin crossing the road, you hear the galloping of hooves before your vision begins fading. Last thing you see is a black carriage pulled by two black horses that holds an eerie and mysterious aura.

Twisted Wonderland shenanigans go as usual. Grim, Ace, Deuce, nearly getting killed by overblotted dwarf, so on and so forth. Back in Gotham, Batfam is unconsciously feeling the effect reader's disappearance has. First to grow worried shortly after you had disappeared is Alfred, as the person you spent most of your time with when he could of course. Next is Damian, surprisingly, because he is the second person you have spent time with due to the one-sided fighting and bullying. He approaches Alfred before approaching Bruce, who is now very much distraught that he hadn't noticed you were missing. Dick is in denial for a bit before shortly facing reality, Jason is blaming Bruce but is also mad at himself and is kinda lashing out, Tim regrets ignoring and pushing you aside. Basically, Batfam is going through several stages of emotional distress, grief and mental breakdowns and is spending half, if not most of their time looking for you or any clues as to where you are while learning about your life in the mansion while you are (trying to) living your best life in NRC with your besties and people who actually care about you while trying not to die from a crashout at every new dorm. Dunno if twisted wonderland guys would also be yanderes, normal, one or two maybe or if there would just be one but they aren't that bad (more soft yandere than anything).

edit: forgot to add that maybe they slowly get transported there at random at some point in the story (starting with Damian first most likely) or they have constantine do something with magic to find them and batfam splits up, half to go get reader and half to protect gotham.

floyd will occasionally get overcome by cuteness aggression and roughly mess with gia’s hair and shake’em around and gia…doesn’t mind the enrichment actually. forgive them your honor they’re mentally eel.

This is off topic but the switch direct featured a game called Disney villains cursed café, and it got me thinking, what if Yuu ran a café in twst

I saw the trailer myself and instantly thought of Twst! 😭

Maybe Yuu wouldn’t be able to have their own café (lack of capital for startup), but they could be the Mostro Lounge’s barista or something? They have what appears to be a bar-like area:

It could be considered a part-time job to supplement the monthly allowance Crowley gives Yuu! It’d also be a good way for them to spread the Magic of Friendship and interact with the student body way more than what is shown in the main story.

If that part-time job goes well and Yuu enjoys it, maybe it could be a viable career path for them once they graduate NRC (assuming they don't find a way back to their world)? With a degree from a prestigious arcane academy + connections built by then, Yuu could surely net some financial backers and set up shop in Foothill Town (or even on NRC campus!). They could even have drinks and sweets themed after the dorms of inspired by their classmates. Since a lot of the expendable items in Twst gameplay are edible, it would also be so cool if Yuu recreated them for their business. Friendship Popcorn, Leaping Macarons, Rich Card Cookies, Limelight Waffles, Lucky Cupcakes, Starshards, Friendship Tea, Secret Snacks, breads drizzled with Blooming Honey, etc. It sounds like the beginning of a cozy fantasy novel www

In Disney Villains Cursed Café because I want to talk about how silly it is, you play the part of a "potionista" and serve magical brews to various Disney villains in a modern setting. Your choices will influence the villains' ambitions and result in different things happening in their storylines! Some stories teased include:

Gaston attempting to impress his golfing buddies

Hook wanting to be the star of a community theater production

Maleficent seeking to dominate on social media

Ursula becoming a reality TV sensation

The art style is very stylish, and I'm always a sucker for games involving food and fairy tale motifs 🤡

Some customers you'll meet include Ursula, Gaston, Jafar, Captain Hook. Cruelle De Vil, and Maleficent (in casual wear!). asdbasoydasd The Mistress of Evil using her staff as a selfie stick in the promo art makes me laugh a little 😅 Gaston looking preppy and athletic is also super fitting, but Jafar looks so different in a hat and suit that I had to do a double-take when I first saw him.

If you pay close attention, you'll also find Easter eggs in the decor and background! For example, Flotsam and Jetsam are in a glass container on the left of your counter, and the Magic Mirror seems to be mounted on the right. You'll find customers seated at tables and enjoying their drinks (JAFAR WHY ARE YOU HUNCHED OVER LIKE THAT... I also spot what seems to be the Evil Queen in one screenshot?)

Yzma also makes an appearance; apparently, she helps you with ingredients upgrades to make even more powerful potions.

THIS IS SO SILLY... My brain is just superimposing the NRC boys in these scenarios and that magnifies the silliness 😭

Ursula's "I went to the beach today and NO ONE wanted to make a deal with me" gives Azul being dramatic on an NRC school beach trip energy OTL Maleficent wanting to be a social media influencer is so ironic given that Malleus doesn't know how tf to use technology and regularly breaks phones... Vargas going on a golfing trip... Crewel wanting a hot brew to take the edge off of dealing with unruly pups all day... TWEELS CRAMMED INTO A JAR FOR THE AESTHETIC... Paparazzi trying to sneak a photo of Vil at a café... Jamil being a chuuni by declaring his drink teleports him to a powerful lamp, only to reappear a yard away under a ceiling fixture lamp... This just SCREAMS of the NRC students/staff terrorizing a local business/j Not me hoping that fan artists do crossover art/art inspired by interactions in this game...

Protective!Riddle, being the very best boyfriend you’ll ever have, hates to be labeled as the overprotective type- is it so taboo to care for his partner? He thinks not! Whether it be strangers who get too touchy, or the natural disaster that is Adeuce, Riddle’s two steps behind you,, Keeping watch and preparing for a trust fall. Expect the unexpected!! Being a boyfriend’s honestly changed him for the better- all the stress and drama you bring into his life is indefinitely worth it to see you happy :) Even if it costs a few troublemakers their heads <3

Protective!Riddle that can only be dissuaded with gentle affection!! He’s no monster, and who’s he to deny your sweetness? Even when he goes red in the face, ready to “defend your honour”, all it takes is a little baby talk and a hand against his shoulder to simply melt,, Poor boy’s just so tense- and he only wants to protect his treasure, is that too much to ask? Protective!Riddle that despite all appearances, doesn’t want to be the bad guy,, It’s just hard for him to communicate, more so than others- he’s not usually the jealous type, really, but he finds himself envying the smooth evasion of Azul’s scheming, or even Leona’s suave nonchalance.. You and your,, Goodness have completely ruined his confidence! He doesn’t want you to settle, he wants you to want him. To need him like he needs you :( So all he can do is bury himself in his books, growing bitter and possessive, because you’re too good for him. It’s suffocating, but he’s trying! Every day he’s clawing his way up that sweaty, corporate ladder, working to be good for you- if you’ll still take him :)

Protective!Riddle’s just so terribly head over heels it’s hard to not be a little guarded- it’s torture to see you happy with someone else.. He half feels like it belongs to him. That you’re to laugh solely at his jokes, because only he can appreciate your smile for what it is, that nobody else deserves it.. But he knows you’d hate being cooped up. Alone, together. Because he hates it- knows how stifling it is to be controlled and played with, so he’d never do it to you intentionally,, But, keep an eye on it. You’d hate to find yourself tied down, even if it’s to him <3

Mystic Flour Cookie is one of the five overarching antagonists of Cookie Run: Kingdom. Mystic Flour Cookie is one of the Five Beast Cookies and wields the power of Apathy, a corrupted side of the Virtue of Volition she once held. She was the original owner of the Soul Jam currently held by Dark Cacao Cookie.

An enigma amongst the students, they rarely interact with students only ace,deuce and grim are by far the only ones that they talk to.

Mystic Flour!Yuu moves with an eerie, almost weightless grace, as if they might dissolve into dust at any moment. They always have their eyes close and the weirdest part they can read and see even tho they are close.

Even without sight, they can sense people’s emotions with eerie accuracy. They often respond to unspoken thoughts as if they had read them from someone’s face.

No one has ever seen them open their eyes. When asked why, they simply respond, “There is nothing worth seeing.” originally the school thought that they were blind but they soon got proven wrong.

Many students describe them as soft spoken and elegant but yet mysterious and detached, preferring not to interact with anyone. People describe them as nihilistic believing everything is futile.

But despite their mindset, they still have deep care over grim, ace and deuce seeing them as family and will protect them from danger. One time a senior was messing with grim and he reported back towards mystic flour!yuu and the next the senior was struck with a deadly unknown illness and was sent home.

As well when they walk a cloud of mist would form out of nowhere and follow them. Not to mention they don't make noise at all when they walk, they did it with deadly silence to the point no one will notice them grim would compare them with a ghost and they will smile a little.

Once whispered, "I see you," to floyd who snuck up on them. They weren’t even facing him, this creeped him out when he returned back towards jade and Azul he felt shaken up which is a rare thing for him to feel, Jade questioned him and Floyd answered that there's something unnatural about mystic flour!yuu.

They can levitate or fly, this is usually shown when they meditate on the rooftop. In this state they cannot be bothered clouds would appear and gather around them.

The student population heard about mystic flour!yuu ability to grant wishes thru grim, and when they demand it from them mystic flour!yuu would just stare at them creeping the students out.

During the scarabia chapter, they put themselves into a cocoon made out of silk, during this period of time the ghost on ramshackle would avoid the room that held their cocoon for unknown reason grim ask why and the ghost seems to prefer avoid the question out of fear, grim would nonchalantly went in and talk to their cocoon as if they are there. If someone sneaks into their room, it always feels slightly colder than the rest of the dorm. Not unpleasant, just different.

Crowley is afraid of them, willing to obey and avoid their presence all together because he once caught a glimpse of their eyes and immediately was traumatized.

Many believe that they were not human, that maybe they were a ghost or something more terrifying and when asked about this they always answer "why does it matter" and return back into business.

During an overblot they will just simply observe but if grim was in danger the area would form cloud like mist that is hard to see through and sound eerie many students reported when they're in the mist they hear their love ones whispering towards them or screaming.

Jamil would advise kalim not to get close because of the eerie feeling he gets from them, which kalim of course doesn't understand and would try to make contact with them believing both of them find some sort of misunderstanding.

The ghost would avoid them, not to mention professor Vargas is literally terrified of them since they always appear still and move at incredible speed one time he sees them at the corner of the room and when look back they are near him it's not even a second HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO MOVE THAT FAST.

As well when they were watching a horror movie they never once flinch or scream even when theres a jumpscares they always act indifferent.
