Francis Inferno Orchestra is an Australian DJ and electronic music producer. He is best known for his disco and boogie style of music, which is influenced by genres such as funk, soul, and jazz. Germany-based, Nigerian artist Peter Uka's joyously dynamic paintings celebrate his childhood in Lagos and his love of Nigerian Highlife music. (Think: Fela Kuti.)

But, before I knew who he was and why he made these paintings, I just assumed these were images of Black people from America dancing to Disco on Soul Train.

Regardless. Wherever they're from (Motherland or Diaspora) anybody worth their melanin can clearly see that they are getting down!
