Safe Keeping
One night after a long patrol the bat family came into the bat cave to find two babies.
One baby had red eyes and one had blue, both babies had a mix of white and black hair. They were wrapped in black baby blankets with a usb stick in between them.
The bat family was surprised to find Tim's face appearing on the bat computer after plugging the USB in.

Danny was having a blast!
Leaving Amity was one of the best choices hes ever made! He spent the last year fighting off what he's come to know as Justice League level threats only for some guy to literally spit in his face as he carried him out of a burning building.
In. his. face.
Danny dropped the guy and ignored his enraged shouts as he continued rescuing the people and animals from the other apartments. Was it wrong to leave that guy there? Probably. Did Danny care? Not anymore. Jazz had graduated early and gone off to an Ivy League collage while Tucker had gotten a scholarship to some fancy private high school and his parents shipped him off somewhat against his will. Tuck, being Sam's counterbalance was sorely missed and Danny was getting more and more fed up with her pushy attitude.
Eventually she said something that set him off and he stormed out of her home. As he walked he realized something. He had Go bags stored all over the city, many of which no one but him knew about and no one would be any wiser if they were to go missing. He had full unrestricted access to all of his parents lab equipment, including the Specter Speeder and had full scale survival training in most terrains thats to Fenton Family Traditions.
He could just...leave. leave and never look back. Heck, he could enter into a new reality all together thanks to his Halfa status and no one would be able to follow him thanks to him being the only one of his kind.
So thats what he did. He didn't exactly thinks this through but he knew if he put it off he would screw it up by overthinking it and getting caught by Sam and guilt tripped into staying.
Next think he knew he was coughing on smog. Yep. This is a big city all right, one Sam would either love thanks to the gothic architecture or hate for the pollution and obvious corruption. Tucker would definitely love it here. The tech in the shop windows looked way more advanced than anything that didn't come from his parents lab.
Speaking of which he needed to find a place to hide the Specter Speeder (he needed a new name for that) he could keep flying it through the city invisibly. He was going to get tired soon.
On the plus side it was easy to phase the speeder and all his stuff into an underground cave that didn't have an entrance yet. It did have an underground waterfall however and Danny was loving it.
It wasn't long before Danny had built an antire jet out of scrap metal he'd stolen from the junk yards and his parents stolen tools. Flying through the city's sky was so much fun. When was the last time he flew a jet even inside an emulator?
Too long.
He heard his radio beep signaling that someone was trying to contact him but he ignored it. Danny took pride in his work and knew he wouldn't be shot down easily, new tech or not. If worst came to worst he could use his ghost powers to bail.
Several more failed attempts to contact him later a larger black jet appeared behind him. Danny grinned, "Let the chase begin."
As it turned out this city was filled with a team of vigilante heros with a bat and bird theme and oh boy, they were good. There were a few times when his jets had been shot down and Danny would have to actually bail. Danny was so impressed that he decided to leave them gifts whenever that happened. That's right.
Danny dropped loot.
The bats still had no idea what he looked like or what he wanted, even going so far as to call him "The Phantom Flyer" which Danny cackled at the irony.

variation of yesterday's idea:
Flash makes a double change in the timeline
Danny this time does not come from this universe. He claims that Flash erased his existence as a hero AND as a civilian and not only that, HIS city doesn't even exist anymore, he doesn't know where his friends or family are now! insert eyes here wet holding fake tears
So ok it was a big lie and blatant manipulation, but the GiW had killed his friends, his family learned of his hybridization and his parents wanted to "cure" him and they gave him medicine to knock him out and he s only woken up because they made him fall down the stairs leading to the labs where the dissection table had been prepared and everything! After a hasty escape and a call from Jazz, who had inquired about their parents' plans, she sent him to get Dani and then demanded that they leave for the zone… then a few hours after confirming that they had both arrived in the area the portal had exploded!
So yes Dani and him had decided to move into another dimension and clocwork had the idea of the stratagem of using the temporal changes of a hero named flash to insert themselves

What would happen if we put together or joined animutants with biomatronics?
Would you do another collaboration with Pixel Chills?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
actually we already had talked about this with @pixelchills :D I made this weird idea about the melting of the two dimensions, but don't take it canon. i was just having fun while drinking wine xd for real, Sunrise would be very curious to compare a lot of stuff to his own world, and Moondrop would just keep his Sunny under his eye. I want to believe that if they talk a bit with each other, they can relax in their company. After all, Moon and Sun are just as protective personalities like the animutant boys. :)

DPxDC - Mafia Ties
Good parents Fenton and redeemed Vlad escaping to another universe with Danny, Jordan, Ellie, Jazz, Tucker, and Sam because of GIW chaos getting so bad they literally need to go to another world to get help, only for the portal to close, and they can't open it from this side. Jordan is Jazz's age maybe a year older and Ellie accidentally got deaged to her actual age give or take which is probably about a year and a half old. Yes it's the Family Breakfast ship.
@hallowsden
Cue Vlad doing his whole possession stuff to not only get them new identities but carefully accumulate a small amount of wealth, not enough to be suspicious in his opinion but still.
The Fenton parents start looking to see if/where this world has ectoplasm because the kids, and maybe Vlad, need it. Hel, maybe the parents accidentally need it too after all those years of exposure.
I know everyone chooses Gotham for this stuff, but also that's about the most I know about DC and it has a Lazarus pit underground so we're using it.
Vlad doesn't get back into the proper businessman profile, too many eyes for him to feel safe after the GIW disaster, but he does end up a Mafia boss, or at least tries. Also, Hood becomes a new 'son' obsession for him, yeah he has Danny and Jordan and Ellie but this kid is also ghosty and probably hungry or something, right?
Hood doesn't get what's up with this weird older man who always has a baby with him, let alone why he'd even bring a baby along to mafia stuff.
Vlad thinks it's safer to have Ellie in mafia meetings than be left with the Fentons during their research obsession periods because they will literally not pay attention to anything else unless it's an emergency, it's not their fault, they're learning to manage it though.
Speaking of Fentons, they work on clean energy manufacturing topside, but underground they deal with weapons. Mostly they supply them to Vlad's crew, since that's basically their testing grounds, but they also don't make anything that's actually lethal. Vlad isn't a fan of guns though but he isn't about to bring out his plasma blasts if there isn't a good reason. (He pretends anyone who sees him cackling like a maniac hit their head, he did say he hates using guns after all).
Jordan and Jazz are probably about 17/18 now. Jazz is going to college, while Jordan slips his way into the kid's mafia (yes he knows he's a kid now too, shut up, he used to be 24). This is half to annoy Vlad and half because he's curious. Jazz, of course, with a little help from both Vlad and Tucker in getting her grades moved between universes, is in college soon, and manages a full scholarship (not that Vlad wouldn't have paid if he still had his old money, in fact he might even be a little jealous that he wasn't the one to pay for her schooling).
Jordan looks a little more like Vlad than he does Jack, due to the way the ghost half fusion effects everything, but he also looks more like Jack than Maddie because Jack is what Danny would have grown into anyway.
Ellie of course just looks like a nearly carbon copy of Danny of course, just baby and female.
Danny, Sam, and Tucker are all going to Gotham Prep, if Vlad can't pay for Jazz's schooling then he's paying at just some for theirs (they might have partial scholarships but not full ride). Danny still sneaks out at night because he can't stand sitting still after a long time of being a vigilante and ends up running into the Bat. He promptly apologizes for invading his haunt and flees.
If any ships, I'm thinking Jazz/Jason and Jordan/Dick, but I'm a sucker for everlasting Trio and Tim also has a trio of his own.
Back to Ellie and Vlad. He of course is trying to keep any 'Meta' rumors on the downlow, but she's just a baby. The harness she's in is ghost proof mostly so she can't just phase out of it, but you try changing a baby's diaper and they just turn intangible, or put then down to nap when they start floating. Hel, imagine setting her down for two seconds, she accidentally makes a shield, and now she's crying because she wants to be held. Sure, Vlad and Danny both, Jordan and Ellie too, can go through shields in human form, but that doesn't mean it doesn't sting or something. Eventually it gets figured out though.
I wonder how long it takes Jason to figure out that this Jordan fellow is related to Vlad. 😂
I also wonder what it would take for Vlad to actually use his ghost form outright, what kind of threat he'd expose himself to for the sake of his family. Just, shoving the kids at Jack - "Darling your aim is iced tea, let Maddie and myself handle this" - and doing what he has to.
And, yes, even as a Mafia boss he refuses to actually swear. Also, he probably still goes by Plasmius, the way his other form looks does NOT help the vampire rumors. Let alone the- well, I read a post on here a while ago where Ellie Danny and Jordan were deaged and needed his ectoplasm to survive. Imagine being a Plasmius goon in a meeting while he's trying to rock his baby to sleep and she's just sucking on his hand. You don't think much of it until you see he's bleeding and, even though it's technically red, your pretty sure it's glowing green and you're not sure if you want to ask (you won't but still). Plus, he's not even reacting to what must be a fair bit of pain, right?
Honestly, there's probably a betting pool about the whole weird family.
And of course I'm bringing in my Alfred Clockwork storyline. Flashpoint Thomas is Frighty, dead Thomas is Pariah, and Gotham is Martha. The moment Vlad finds out that Jason's grandparents are some of the most powerful ghosts in the realms (or at least this side of them in Gotham's case) he's like "okay I won't interfere, but maybe he'd like a friend? He doesn't seem to know a lot of ghosts.' (he tries to figure out which kid would be a better fit and that's when he finds out Jordan's been working for Hood this whole time. "You didn't tell me?" "You didn't know?!") 😂
Basically, give me a Mafia family who's major story plot isn't even the bats outright, it's just trying to survive after fleeing a world that may as well be destroyed at this point. Sure, they interact with the bats, cross paths, maybe even a couple relationships, but, overall, the Fenton-Masters are just outsiders in Gotham, learning to adjust to this new life.

Prepared for Anything Pt. 5
Part 4, MasterPost
Danny debated with himself if he was a bad person or not for letting this go on. He watched one of the crooks, Sack-head, (probably the boss of all these other goons) squeeze a few drops of a misting, green liquid into a beaker and swirl it together like the most dubious cocktail Danny had ever seen.
But. . .Danny was the only captive in this warehouse (with so many lab safety violations even his parents would make some changes) and could he really be considered a captive if he could escape anytime? It was so lucky for that raccoon guy(his eye bags were almost as bad as Danny’s when he’d been fighting ghosts nearly two days straight) that Danny had annoyed Sack-head enough that he’d kidnapped Danny instead of raccoon guy.
. . .Danny was bored. . .
. . .
And maybe hoping Orphan would show.
Anywho, he did not like the look of that syringe being dipped into what could only be poison(right? It was poison, right? It was glowing ominously, like ectoplasm met magical sewer water, it had to be poison). What was he planning on doing with that? Should Danny have destroyed this place as soon as he got here? But he’d been bored and curious and slightly anticipating Orphan’s arrival, that he’d left it alone.
Hmmm. Sack-head was coming towards him, laughing like the insane cartoon villains he and Jazz would watch as kids. The really annoying ones.
Danny didn’t do needles.
Thankfully, he didn’t have to act, and he sat back comfortably in the chair he was chained to as shards of glass sprinkled onto the concrete floor below. Vigilantes descended from the ceiling and windows with such coordinated timing, that they just had to be teammates with earpieces or something.
Danny’s face lit up with a smile as he caught sight of Orphan nailing a guy in the head. He might’ve swooned just a little. Sack-head, ever a cliche villain if Danny’s ever seen one, called “Get them!”
Danny settled in to watch.
The warehouse exploded in noises of gunfire and fighting. With Danny at one end of the warehouse, he only saw the vigilantes a little with goons blocking much of the view, but he could tell the bats were holding their own. Their skills far outclassed the goons, but the goons had numbers and so the fighting went on.
It was Orphan he spotted in the rafters a couple minutes later, sneaking closer to him, and he couldn’t help the grin he flashed up at her. She was wearing a mask and he couldn’t tell if she returned it, though he’d like to think that she did. One of her soft smiles that hid a cunning and a perceptive mind, shifting eyes, taking in every detail of body language, knowing things he was saying without him having to say it—
He needed to get himself together.
She was moving even faster now, reaching for something in her belt—
There were pointy things grazing his neck.
Danny will be honest. . . .he’d known Sack-head was coming for him, probably to give the bats an ultimatum like he was doing now, threatening to. . .poke(?) Danny with his gross claws if they didn’t back off. . .but he’d. . .he was having too much fun playing damsel in distress, okay?! This was only the second time he’s seen Orphan in weeks, and as soon as this situation was cleared up, she’d be gone again, and he, admittedly, wanted to drag this out as long as he could. Even if only by a couple of seconds. It was bad. He knew this. . .but what else was he supposed to do when the source of his affections was right there, lurking in the rafters like some beautiful goddess of darkness and death? She was perfect and he didn’t know until he’d met her that someone could feel so right.
He could take just a couple more minutes, he’d make sure no one got hurt(severely), it was fine.
Currently, the vigilantes were frozen. Besides Orphan, there was a big guy all in black like a goth vampire, Bruisy, Spoiler, Jason(AKA Red Hood), Red Robin, and the little one with the sword. He was so adorable. Like a vicious, blood-thirsty, snooty, little duckling with anger issues.
“Hey, guys.” Danny said to the frozen vigilantes, smiling good-naturedly to let them know he was okay. “Been a minute.” He gave a little wave, startling Sack-head.
“Wh—What happened to your chains?! Nevermind, not important right now.” He mumbled the second part to himself. “Surrender!” He ordered the vigilantes who ground their teeth and reluctantly dropped their weapons. Sack-head had his goons restrain them and soon they were bound on the floor.
Danny internally winced. Okay. Maybe he should stop this now. . .
. . .
But no one had noticed Orphan in the rafters. And he would really prefer not to out himself as not completely normal. He’s done an amazing job, he thinks, of helping out where he can without showing his powers. The vigilantes don’t suspect a thing. He’s just a regular dude who just happens to come across them sometimes with useful objects to help them out. Yes, totally normal.
“You! Watch the kid!”
One of the goons came and stood nearby, finger on the trigger of a gun, and barrel pointed at the floor. The claws slid away from Danny’s skin and Sack-head stalked to the workbench where he’d been playing with chemistry.
“Uh. . .Boss?” One of the goons said nervously. “Shouldn’t we. . .ya know. . .leave? They could have back-up coming.”
“In a minute.” Sack-head snapped. “The experiment will be ruined and I’ll have to start from scratch if it’s disturbed!”
Danny glanced to the bats who were either watching him, Sack-head, the goons, or assessing how to get out of the situation. Danny caught glances of Orphan moving above, but didn’t chance looking up in case the goons caught on.
“Whatchya buildin?” Danny asked cheerily, much to the aggressive Teletubbies’ continued astonishment.
Sack-head grumbled. “Shut u—“ Sack-head paused when he whipped his head to him. “Where did you get that?”
Danny threw another popped kernel in his mouth and jutted his thumb at the goon standing guard over him. Said goon looked bewildered, casting his gaze around and pointing to himself questioningly. Danny nodded.
“What ar—don’t feed him! He isn’t a guest!?”
“Gave me this water too.” Danny said before taking a sip from a plastic water bottle.
“What? No, I didn’t—“
Danny hummed disappointedly with a shake of his head. “Tsk, tsk, dissent in the ranks.”
“Boss! I didn’t—“
“Figs! You’re taking over for Gertrand!”
“Yes, Boss!”
Danny waved goodbye to a distressed Gertrand as his place was taken over by Figs. Popcorn crunched loudly between Danny’s teeth as he smiled broadly at his new guard. He held out his tub of popcorn. “Want some?”
Figs stared at him for a moment. Glanced back at Sack-head who wasn’t looking. And shrugged. As he reached in, Danny gasped loudly, quite convincingly, and pointed at the other end of the warehouse. “What’s that!?”
It was too easy. Every head turned and Danny pulled out a grenade and threw it. Smoke  exploded out, billowing across the floor and thick into the air. The next moments happened fast as the vigilantes had already freed themselves and had been watching for an opportunity. Orphan dropped from the ceiling. Bodies became obscured in the smoke, the sound of them thudding to the ground between fists exchanged and shouting. There were several screams. When the smoke cleared, the vigilantes were cuffing and knocking out the last of the goons. Sack-head was thoroughly bound and lying on the dirty floor.
He spotted Orphan cuffing a guy and he grinned wide, getting up from his chair and making his way over. She straightened when she saw him coming. He raised a hand. “Hey—“
Black suddenly obstructed his vision and Danny halted, looking up at the large man. “Hi. Nice. . .horns?”
He heard someone snicker. The goth vampire didn’t react at all.
“Who are you?” The guy gravelled and wow, Danny’s sort of worried about the guy’s throat.
“Danny. Nice to meetchya. Water?” Danny pulled a sealed bottle from behind him. “You sound like you need it.”
Spoiler burst out laughing.
“Last name.” The guy grunted out and Danny frowned. The bottle lowered when the guy didn’t take it.
“Ya know, it’s common curtesy to give your name back.”
He wasn’t sure why the others kept laughing. The goth vampire didn’t say anything for a long minute.
“Oh my gosh! I can’t believe you still don’t know who Batman is!” Spoiler was leaned against a wall, cackling like her head might fall off. “I’m so glad I came.” She swiped a tear from her eye.
A hand appeared on Batman’s(?) arm. Danny turned to Orphan with a big smile.
“Hey!”
“Hi.”
“Uhh. . .nice to see you—Y’all—uh—All of you. . .”
She nodded.
“Orphan—“
“Shush.” Orphan shushed the man with a pat on his arm, not straying her eyes off Danny and he shifted a bit on his feet. “Friend.”
Batman grunted. Apparently that meant something cause Orphan said “Stop” and stepped forward. Danny stepped back to make room for her.
When he spoke again, Batman’s voice came out a tad deeper and agitated. It was hard to spot.
There was something familiar about the way Batman postured. Danny looked him up and down, trying to figure it out; the crossed arms, the vaguely intimidating looming, the angry scowl like Danny had run off with his daughter in the middle of the night—
“He’s an un—“
“Ohhhhh!” Danny realized with a finger. “You’re her bat-dad.”
The laughing stopped. The vigilante’s masked eyes blew wide.
Ha. Danny was right.
He restrained himself from reaching out for a handshake. He had a feeling Batman wouldn’t take it.
“Riiight, okay, I get it now. Last name’s Fenton.” Danny looked down as he ticked off a finger. “I’m twenty-three, I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs, I have a stable job, a degree in mechanics and engineering, umm. . . Oh! I have my driver’s license, though that might not be vaild here. Uh, I’m from Illinois, I know first-aid—“ He was running out of fingers. “—and how to do water rescues, I’ve never committed a crime of my own will—“
“What?”
“—and I’ve never crashed through any buildings with my car.”
“. . .huh???” Bruisy asked.
“Oh. Yeah, well. Back home, people got nervous when I said I got my driver’s license and I like to make it clear my sister taught me to drive and not my parents. Anyway—“ He said to Batman. “—I just wanted you to know you don’t gotta worry about me. . .if. . .we ever hang out. . .?” Danny said the last part to Orphan shyly and rubbing at the back of his neck. She nodded and he beamed, making a pleased sound in the back of his throat.
Batman’s eyes narrowed. “You’ve committed crimes against your will?”
Ah. “Well, I should get going. You guys probably have a lot of vigilante-ing to do and saving children from fires and all that.”
“Ans—
“Not to mention these guys.” He gestured vaguely at all the tied up goons.
“You—“
“Yep, I can tell you’re itching to get going.” Danny began to back away. “We’ll talk later?” He asked Orphan.
“Find you on roof next time.”
Danny smiled at her.
“Dan—“
Danny froze and pointed wide-eyed behind the bats. “That guy got free!”
Everyone but Orphan whipped around to look and Danny dashed out of there. He couldn’t believe that’d worked a second time.

💠💙Back to the Seasons of My Youth
By:desiccations, orphan_account, Potatoes_Radishes, Vrishchika
Summary:
Lan Wangji finds himself time- and dimension-traveling, but he really just wants to be back with his husband.
Chapter:1/1
Words:14,415
Status:completed
"What is my role here? In Cloud Recesses?"
"You are a beloved teacher. Shufu handed off many of his classes to you.”
"You lead the nighthunts with the juniors and you have your own place to experiment. You dabble in new forms of musical cultivation,"
"Your inventions used well over the cultivation world"
"Wei Ying is Gusu Lan's most valuable cultivator,"
"He is uncle's most valuable nephew in law, he appreciates your wisdom,"
"Brother loves having you around for tea, he delights in your company,"
You are Sizhui's father, he adores your presence, you loved to bury him in soil and claim it helps him grow taller and stronger." He smiles slightly, his face flushing as Wangji brings Wei Ying's ribbon to his lips maintaining eye contact, "And you are my beloved husband, my Wei Ying, forever.”
~
He raises a hand and brushes a warm cheek tenderly, running a thumb along the smooth skin, "You are free, Wei Ying. There are no debts or chains holding you here. You remain because you wish to, because you love and are loved in return. This is your home." He lifts the ribbon and caresses the cloud motif on it carefully, "A Lan in heart and spirit."
~~
"He is ours now because we were fortunate. Do not take that for granted. He will make enemies. He will sacrifice his entire being before he compromises on his honor or morality. He loves me beyond anything and even I cannot sway him away from the righteous path. If he must face the world to save a few innocent souls, he will do it. He has done it."
~~
"He is... lively." Wangji huffs in amusement, "Lively, bright, more beautiful than either of us can bear, certainly. But-" He hides a small smile behind his cup, "He yields beautifully to us." Lan Zhan's ears turn red, "He seems too free-spirited to... yield."

Gojokashi Week 2024.
Day 6: Dimensional travel.
Kakashi appeared in a strange world after an attack by Kaguya and he doesn't know if his team managed to win or his world disappeared.
He's not in a particularly pleasant mood although he won't be necessarily aggressive, but he will be wary of anyone who approaches him at this point.

You couldn't stay in the dimension you were born in when you were young. You don't know exactly why, your parents never told you. It was just a normal earth, nothing bad had happened to it, but something made it so they needed to flee with you. They were some of the only people capable of multiversal travel, you don't know if that meant anything.
The first dimension you stayed in was completely uninhabited. It was a version of earth that never got any humans of its own, the only people there were other dimensional researchers. There was something very stagnant about it, even for a version of you that was so very young, there were only a handful of buildings on the entire earth, only a handful of places you could safely go. The only books and movies you had were the few that the researches chose to bring with them. And the world outside, the uninhabited world, was so disturbingly large you could drive for hours and never see a sign of a human being, look in any direction and there would be nobody but the beasts and the creatures. The world was empty when you were young, it could be beautiful at times, but beyond anything else it was empty. You're not sure you fully understood yet what was so wrong about your world, you don't think you could. But occasionally you'd go to a world where there were more people for just a few days, and it felt so much more real.
When you were a bit older, and it became clear that you shouldn't live in such a lonely place anymore, your parents moved to a dimension where there would be more people. It was a plane of an endless ocean, you don't even think it was a planet, just an infinite field of water. But there were people, people on boats and on submarines and on flying vehicles, you don't know how they got there but they were there. It was hard to adjust at first, suddenly you were on a ship surrounded by other humans, millions of them in the case of some of the vehicles you stayed on for your time there. Everything seemed scary in a weird way, you missed land, missed forests, missed standing on solid ground and being able to run in any direction. But being around people, even being near a single person, made it all feel worth it. You had freinds for the first time, went to school for the first time. There was even just the simple fact that you went to stores and restaurants for the first time. The water made everything so strange, the feeling that humanity had nowhere to stand safely, save for a few tiny islands incapable of supporting much permanent habitation, the world felt like it wasn't made for you for the first time, but after being alone for so long that felt like a good thing. Eventually it had to end though, it was your fault that time, you had told all your classmates that you were from somewhere different, a place with land, with great mammoths and terror birds and vast forests and grasslands, and you had photos to prove it. After they knew you had to leave, you couldn't have guessed that, you never fully knew why, it felt like you have destroyed a world, even if just for yourself.
You fled quickly to a plane completely without life. It was inhabited exclusively machines, some of them fully sentient and capable of human emotion, but they were still robots, steel and plastic creatures entirely alien to you. You took all the food you could so you could stay there until your next trip. Your parents were looking for something there, something that would let them go to your original home, but whatever they were looking for made the robots there fear them, call them sorcerers, and accuse them of playing with elder gods. You don't know exactly why but one day they left saying they had to do something important, and you never saw them again. You would have starved to death there, a human in a world without humans, a teenager in a world without teenagers, but a robot decided to help you leave.
It took exploring a few dimensions with your robot benefactor, some darker than you would like to remember, but eventually you found somewhere with humans, somewhere safe, with blue sky, and green earth, and cities and towns. You stayed with the robot at first, then with other benefactors, who knew your family name across many worlds. It was perfect, for the first few months there you thought this world's humanity was entirely the same as yourse. But eventually you figured out that there was a difference, humanity in the plane you had come to had never developed any desire for romance or sex, reproduction to them was an entirely dull affair to them. It didn't seem like a big change at first, but it began to take a hold of you, that you had desires that nobody around you had. You began to realize that you felt these things, these things you could never admit, that anyone else there would have found disgusting, about the people around you. You felt alien, a creature from another dimension, a threat to everyone around you. And when you felt those things about people you cared about it felt like betraying them. The last straw was when you saw people dancing naked, it was entirely innocent to them, but you felt you had to do something, so you felt you had to leave. You were finally old enough to do that type of thing on your own, even if all your benefactors said you were too young.
The dimension you live in now has humans like you at least. Though it's a few decades less technologically advanced than what you're used to, and all the humans there are are clustered into one megacity, with a wall to protect them from the horrors outside. It's never daytime where you are now, but you've seen worse than eternal night before. Though you can't help but feel there's something slightly grim about where you are, for the first time you feel free. You traveled here on your own, you're not thought of as a refugee people need to protect, you're someone dangerous, someone mysterious, a sorcerer, the type of thing that works with elder gods. Your freinds here don't mind if they think you're something strange and alien, you don't think there's any plane where it wouldn't seem that way now anyway. You never realized it before, but you really are from nowhere now...

(Please give my Steddie+Original NonBinary Time/Dimension Traveling Character fic a shot? I'm writing again, and I need validation, please REBLOG. Steve Harrington isn't the only one with a Praise Kink around here. 🫠)
It's a very unserious comedy/adventure- Featuring a Non Binary Character named Haven (this is not a self insert). They are a badass Dimension/Time Traveler who shows up for Eddie. It's hard not to fall for the OP baddie who comes specifically to save your ass, so naturally Eddie falls for them, then Haven helps Eddie see he can have it all and they quickly rope Steve into their shenanigans. This ain't a slow burn, but because it's the Apocalypse you'd think, 'there's barely any time for make-outs and cuddles'... but when Boys in Crop Tops are involved, we make time...
Also, it features a lovely scene where Eddie is in disguise and Steve cannot for the life of him 🥵...
<Artwork above is my own creation assisted by AI> ...with a little helping of original art inspired by the scene from @DrawingRune on Twitter ...

Summary:
Getting dropped into the Stranger Things Universe in the boathouse where Eddie Munson is currently hiding out could have gone better. Unfortunately, dimension traveling isn't an exact science. Honestly, its kind of a shot in the dark at the best of times.
At least they landed near the person they were looking for.
The timing could have been better.
And they had some notes on the point of arrival.
Being that it was just behind the boat where Eddie was currently hiding under a tarp, in fear for his life. Would have been a smoother entrance if it had been about six feet over, in the actual boathouse, and three feet above the water instead of below it.

Right Answer Wrong Question
Based on my post and @grimdarling69 add on
Danny crash lands on Earth with five children. from a few months old to toddler age.  The Justice League picks them up and does some basics trying to figure out who this is and if they're from that universe.
They find out that this is an alternate version of Jon Kent. Danny is in and out of Consciousness for a long time and the only people who can explain what happened are children, only one of whom is able to understand their questions.
on Danny's side of things he was thrown into the DC Universe after Vlad went crazy. Vlad was on a Redemption path for a long time after Dani and Dan destabilized a lot. he was paying child support and was allowed to visit.
He was doing well for about a year and a half until the Fenton parents got caught up in it and attack leading to them dying not by a ghost hand but by the GIW.
leading to Vlad going crazy he ended up falling back into old habits and taking Danny. he's obsession to not be the only halfa leading to him making more clones again. it gets to the point where he is no longer safe and team phantom teams up to send Danny away from Vlad where he cannot get him.
On the Justice League side he is an alternate of Jon but the thing that really sets them off is that Dante (dan) is Kon's alternate causing them to run some tests. With Danny passed out they are turning to the kids for information.
they are trying to figure out if Dante is also a clone but Dante mentions being in his mom's tummy.( Danny incubated Dan only for about 3 months due to his disconnect from their timeline causing problems) this of course causes many misunderstandings and when Danny wakes up he only makes it worse.
Some of these misunderstandings being Danny locked up for a lot longer than he actually was. He was locked up for 5 months but they think he's been locked up for at least 5 years due to the ages of the kids. Danny gave birth to all of the children. Both of Danny's parents have been dead for longer than they have due to how long he's been locked up and more.
Clones:
Dan/dante-4
Dani/stella-3
Atlas-1 ½
Orin and Leo- 5 months

In every universe Jason Peter Todd dies young. It’s a fate sealed across the multiverse. Maybe he could hope that there’s one universe where he doesn’t. aka, Jason, Dick, and Bruce go multiverse hopping, and are not having a fun time. (Ps, when I started writing this fic I hced Jason as Latino, but I don't really believe in that hc anymore, so just a heads up if you don't like that hc)
TRIGGER WARNING -> Child Death (it's Jason) and overdose
Bruce seemed to have that look on his face. The one where he was about to tell Jason something he didn’t want to hear in that tone that made him feel like he was 12 again.
12, like the little lamb who the Joker had Gutted alive, eaten alive.
Jason had to swallow the bile that was rising up in his throat, and turned to Bruce, “I’m sorry I killed the Joker, but not really. You can yell at me later for it. Ok?” Jason wasn’t taking any of Bruce’s ‘Holier than thou’ attitude. He know. He knows he’ll never be good enough for Bruce. He’s known since the moment his brain was sewn back together by the Lazarus waters. Jason knew he could never be good enough for Bruce. If Jason knows that, Bruce has to know that.
Dick was leaning against a wall head clutched in his hands and with his eyes squeezed shut shut. Then he took a deep breath, and it was almost instantaneous the way Dick collected himself.
Just another way Jason wasn’t Dick and would never be him.
Though, Jason felt like he was missing something when he realized both Bruce and Dick were plastering on their gala smiles.
Though Dick’s voice was tight, barely masking the venom when he spoke, “Ms. Haywood.”
Jason doesn’t think he’s ever turned around so fast, “ Mom?”
Sheila’s eyes lit up in a way Jason couldn’t explain, “Willis,” She swatted Jason’s chest, but let her hand linger, “I thought you were the one who told me to stop calling you papi. ”
Oh. oh. Ew. Ew. Ew. This was some “Back to the Future” type buffoonery. He took a step back, but then noticed how eyes were red and pupils were dialated, “Sheila, are you high?”
She giggled, “It’s just a little coke.” she moved closer and ran a hand up and down Jason’s chest, “You look nice. Almost like the day we met.”
Dick swatted Sheila’s hand away and slightly stepped inbetween the two.
Jason could feel his shoulders creep down a little, now that Dick was acting as a wall “Where’s Jason?”
Sheila pouted, “but Willy, it’s my weekend with him.”
“You’re as high as Icarus right now, and outside, without him. I think I have every right to see my son. Can I borrow your keys?” He held a hand out.
She hummed, “Alright, butcha gotta gimmie something first.”
“Ok…”
She put a finger to her chin and looked up, “A romantic old kiss.”
Jason was about to die from discomfort and cringe into hell, “How about… I promise you one for later.”
She sidestepped Dick and gripped Jason’s collar, “nuh, uh uh,”
Jason was dead. He was dead, and this was hell, “Sheila, please, not–not in front of my Dad.” Jason glanced at Bruce who seemed to be rebooting. The words kinda slipped out, but they seemed to make her falter, “And you’re making a really bad first impression.” Hopefully this wouldn’t be much of an issue. He was pretty sure Papi’s parents died years before he was born, because this was Gotham. No one lived long.
“Oh.” Sheila immediately let go, and smoothed her hair, “It’s nice to meet you sir. I- uh, Willis didn’t tell me he was bringing you. I’m Dr. Sheila Haywood.” She held out a hand
Bruce raised an eyebrow, but didn’t shake it back. It was a power play that Bruce uses with superheroes he didn’t trust.
“Sheila, why don’t you go on a little walk. Sober up. Then we can all talk together.”
“Yeah. Ok.” She dug her keys out of her pocket, handed them to Jason, and headed down the block.
He ignored Bruce and Dick’s looks as he headed towards the apartment listed on the keychain. It wasn’t too far, a couple buildings down, but something about this Gotham made him feel… off kilter. He didn’t really recognize it as well as the other ones. It seemed… better somehow. Not that there wasn’t crime happening around them, it’s just, compared to their Gotham, the crime seemed juvinile.
The opened the door to the building and went to the third story. Only to realize the door to the apartment wasn’t even locked.
It’s because she was high.
But then why didn’t Jason lock the door? By the time he was five he knew locking the doors were important.
“Mama?”
That was a baby.
He heard scrambling, and the sound of small footsteps making their way to see who had just come in. Baby Jay laid eyes on Jason and his face lit up, “Papi!” and the toddler was barrelling towards him.
Jason squatted down to embrace the Baby Jay, and stood up while bringing the kid with him. Jason was very skilled at the art of picking up kids. The Alley Kids don’t call him Tio Rojo for no reason.
He planted a kiss in Baby Jay’s curls, “What have you been up to, Mi alma.”
Baby Jay leaned into Jason’s shoulder an shook his head. Though, it was a bit aggressive, so Jason was 90% certain he was wiping his face on Jason’s shirt, “Nothin’...” Jay looked up and held Jason’s face with both hands, “Papi, your eyes hold the whole earth.”
Jason gave Jay a little laugh, “Is that so?” Though he held Jay’s eye contact. Something… something was off.
“They’re brown like the dirt, green like the trees, and blue like the oceans.”
There was a soft chuckle, that definitely did not come from Dick. Except, Bruce doesn’t chuckle. At least not anymore.
Jason turned around to look at Bruce, who was looking reverently fondly longingly warmly at the two of them, “It’s nice to know you’ve always had a way with words.”
Honestly, Jason might’ve stool there gaping like a fish for years if Baby Jay didn’t start making grabby hands towards Bruce.
Bruce’s eyes narrowed and reached a hand out to wipe Jason’s face. Baby Jay began to flop towards Bruce, and Bruce immediately caught him, “Hey there, Jay. What’s on your hands?”
“Nothin’!” Jay stuffed his hands in his tiny pockets, “I don’t even have hands.”
If Bruce didn’t look so worried serious, Jason would’ve laughed. Except he didn’t, because now that he thought about it, it did feel like something was on his face.
Dick made his way deeper into the apartment, very obviously looking for something.
He wiped it with his sleeve, and when he looked at it, there was a white chalky substance clinging to the brown leather.
“Shit!” Dick swore from the kitchen, “There’s cocaine spilled on the dining table. And a spoon.”
“Call 911.” Jason immediately bent down to grab the Narcan from the pocket by his ankle. Except the packet he had was empty. He used it to help a man who was overdosing during patrol, before their stakeout with Black Mask.
And Bruce keeps Narcan in the vehicles he drives, not his utility belt. Because the parts of Gotham Batman patrols ‘doesn’t have much of a drug problem.’ “Dick, do you carry Narcan with you?”
“I ran out a couple days ago, and only had time to restock for my uniform.” Meaning Officer Grayson would have Narcan, not Nightwing.
Jason looked back to Bruce and Baby Jay. Bruce who’s eyebrows were furrowing more and more, and Baby Jay who was looking at Bruce like he was an angel.
Jason stood up, “Sheila’s a doctor. Maybe… Maybe there’s some in the bathroom? Or the kitchen. Or somewhere.”
He made his way to the bathroom. It was where Mami kept the Narcan when her opiates had been messed around with. There was a first aid kit, but only the with the basic bandaids, antibiotics and painkillers.
“There…There isn’t a home phone.”
What?
Jason remembers using the homephone to call 911 when– right. Sheila’s his mom, not Catherine.
Still, why, why in the world would she leave a four year old at home alone ? Why in tarnation would she leave her cocaine in reach for a toddler ? She was a doctor , she should know better.
Even when Mami had doctors appointments and Papi was busy working, because chemotherapy is expensive, she would leave him with their neighbor, not all alone. And when the neighbors were too busy she would take Jason with her. Even when Mami had switched to opiates after they couldn’t pay for chemo, even when she was so tired she could barely walk, she made sure to keep the meds sealed and out of reach from Jason. And now, because Sheila was too careless, because Sheila didn’t care, because she didn’t want–
There was crying like the lamb like Tiny Tim. Right, Bruce was alone with a baby. He probably barely knew what to do.
He went into the living room and sat down next to Bruce, who was holding a wriggling Jay. Jason took Jay from Bruce and started rubbing his back. He was warmer than before, “What’s wrong?”
Jay grabbed at his chest, and pulled his shirt, “ Hurts .” Jason rested his hand on Jay’s chest. His heart was beating rapidly.
Jason– Jason didn’t want to tell Baby Jay a poem to distract him. Because a poem would mean the end and– It can’t be the end. Not when, not when Baby Jay had never lived. Not when he had a whole lifetime ahead of him.
Bruce stood up, and went over to where the CD player was sitting on the windowsill.
“Bruce, what are you doing?”
Jason could tell what Bruce was doing. He was searching through the CD basket. He really meant why he was doing it.
“You, um, you said you used to listen to Billy Joel with your… Dad.” Bruce found the CD he was looking for, “This doesn’t say what song it is.”
“Billy never disappoints for any occasion.”
Bruce put the CD into the player, and the quick stacattos of the piano chords began to play. Maybe ‘Only the Good Die Young’ was a bad song to play when a toddler what fighting for his life.
Though Jay’s crying pettered out when he heard the music.
“ Come out, Virginia, don't let me wait; You Catholic girls start much too late; Aw, but sooner or later it comes down to fate; I might as well will be the one,” Jason stood up, and started swaying to the beat with Jay in his arms, as they listened to the song, “Well, they showed you a statue, told you to pray; They built you a temple and locked you away; Aw, but they never told you the price that you pay; For things that you might have done. Well, only the good die young; That's what I said; Only the good die young; Only the good die young.”
Jason started singing, because he didn’t want Jay wondering why they were just swaying in silence, “ You mighta heard I run with a dangerous crowd; We ain't too pretty, we ain't too proud; We might be laughing a bit too loud; Aw, but that never hurt no one; So come on, Virginia, show me a sign; Send up a signal, I'll throw you the line;” Jason covered Jay’s eyes, and earned a giggle, “ The stained-glass curtain you're hiding behind; Never let's in the sun,” Jason felt his heart swell as Jay softly sang along.
He was aware that Bruce and Dick were just watching. He was aware that Jay’s heartbeat was still getting faster and faster. He was aware when Jay stopped singing along. He was aware when Jay went into cardiac arrest. He was aware when Dick started doing chest compressions on the doll on the couch. He just couldn’t seem to move his arms, or legs. He couldn’t seem to blink and he couldn’t hear anything. Weren’t they just listening to Billy Joel? What were they listening to again? Vienna? My Life?
There would soon be a child buried in the ground. In a coffin that was too small. There were now seven coffins in the ground that were too small. There was going to be more. With each universe the went to, they brought the death of a Jason like an inescapable prophacy.
Everything lurched around him. The sun engulfed the earth, though it goosebumps dotted his skiin like there was six feet of snow on the ground and he was buried in it. He was buried in white.
A child was gone.
