Alright it's been at least a year and half of me thinking about this thing so its time

My take on Diego post-T&T post-seven-year-gap postcanon whatever

I'm not going to rant on the design too much, but I was overall going for a more casual albeit still professional look (and I really don't like his original vest I'm sorry)

Some points though:

- the magatama is the one that belonged to Mia;

- tha glasses are supposed to work as a high-tech replacement of the visor;

- yes he's back to defense

turnabout sisters is so insane in hindsight. you are miles edgeworth. mia fey, the first defense attorney you ever went against, has been murdered and you are prosecuting her little sister for the crime. not only are you intrinsically tied to her because of the circumstances surrounding your father’s death but you both watched a man kill himself your first time in court. you think this case could not be more emotionally charged. then you walk into court the day of the trial and who do you see on the defense? your fucking childhood best friend who you haven’t seen in 15 years.

I've seen so many posts about aai being like "look Edgeworth's bluffing he learned so much from Phoenix!!" But Phoenix learned everything from Mia and Mia learned everything from Godot so I love the implication of Godot's entire legacy being "lie, be dramatic, and commit to the bit" which is exactly what he does every single second he's onscreen.
