(a.k.a Redy´s weird Chapter Rewritten, Chapterswitch and Aethercrest mix AU)

Welcome to Deltarune: Switched Realms.  My obligatory Chapter Rewritten take... Well, it is not a 1:1 clone, it´s more like if you put Chapter Rewritten, Chapterswitch and Aethercrest into a blender... Anyways, it´ll have new and unique swaps and (hopefully) at least one or two songs for it, just wait for it.  So, allow me to tell you some Looooooooooooooooore!!! Propheton the Oracle: Propheton, a mysterious puppet guy that used to be one Queen´s entertainers, he used to perform his magic acts and predictions at the Castle´s basement theater, he was amazing! his acts were known all around the Dark Realm, it was for this on going fame that he was allowed to open his own Future Reading Business in one of the castle rooms, however this fame wouldn´t last long (you know, the usual secret boss crazy moment) One day while closing down he had a weird vision, through his Crystal Pipis he saw it.... The ANGEL´S HEAVEN, he hear it´s voice, the Angel, it whispered to him all the truths about the world and told him to reach Heaven.... No matter the cost... In that moment Propheton knew what to do... He wanted it... He wanted to escape, he just needed to contact the Angel at the theater and he could have it all.... But... The day he tried to enter the theater... It was gone.  That day Queen decided to close it down due to the lightners sudden departure, Swatch made sure to hide the key away from the puppet man, and thus, Propheton slow decent into madness began as he grew impatient for some to help him reach his goal.  Jebing the Drunk Office Worker: A silly middle aged office worker, Jebing is, and it´ll continuing being Cyber´s Realm black sheep.  An unemployed browsing assistant that got fired from King RAMpage´s gauntlet of workers, that is now a prisoner of alcohol and wanders the commercial alleys of the Cyber ​​Citadel looking for a new boss that knows how to appreciate his ways of working with CHAOS and PARTIES! instead of boring order and coherence.  He wants the help of Noelle to reach a special artifact hidden in the depts of  the King´s Mansion, a new body that will help him become his own boss and reach the freedom he wants, with it he can become... A GOD...  He seems like a funky way never the less!

So while drawing I was thinking of notes to add for more info and such, and then I got to Cynthia and Wallace and like, man

Cynthia being grateful that Wallace has long hair so she can still hide her left eye. It's odd for her. She's not used being able to see w her left eye again, then again, it's Wallace's body. His body was healthier, sturdier, he wasn't blind on one eye, he didn't have scars on his face. And it was,, she wasn't used to it yknow, she wasn't used to not feeling phantom pains or any kind of pain really, she wasn't used to actually having good eyesight anymore. Like, looking in the mirror, she sees everything; she sees how flawless Wallace skin is, sees how well maintained his hair was, could feel how soft it was, his body was built, and that was to be expected really as he's juggling three jobs he has to keep fit. It was weird for Cynthia, but old habits die hard as they say, and she brushed her? His? Hair to the left side, covering her left eye, she thinks she doesn't deserve to see w her left eye again.

But then, it's tempting yknow, for once she felt like her body doesn't have to force her to rest, she feels great really hahah. So she finally got dressed, she remembered she has to take care of Lisia. Oh no, she doesn't know how to cook. God that's embarrassing, she always relied on her grandparents' cooking until now, and she did try cooking once but ah, well, let's just say the Celestic Fire Dept had to rush to their home

Shit well, she has to try at least, eggs and bacon are easy to make, even Diantha can make those! And Dia is one of the shittiest cooks within their group

So she tried, really tried.

"uhm.. uncle, is everything alright? You're kinda burning them"

"ah, yeah, I'm sorry! I'm just.. really not feeling that well, if I'm being honest."

"oh, why didn't you just say so? I'll cook for us! You just rest up!"

Cyn was having real ass mixed feelings cause for once, wow Wallace really was a good uncle he taught his niece how to cook, and she was doing great! And on the other hand, wow a child is a better cook than her. They had breakfast, w Cynthia trying to strike up conversation, asking Lisia what she's gonna do, who she's gonna be w, smth her grandparents always ask her and her sister whenever they went out when they were younger. Maybe Wallace would ask the same too. And it seems she was right, for Lisia it was a normal conversation over breakfast, she answered all the questions, even shared some stuff abt her last performance, and Cynthia made comments she thought Wallace would say.

Once that's done, Lisia got ready for her own stuff too, telling Cynthia to just stay home, "just call me if you need anything, uncle! I'll just get some pain relievers when I get home!"

"of course, thank you, you stay safe okay?"

"I will!"

When Lisia finally left, Cynthia rushed back to Wallace's room, looking for his phone or for his pokenav. Maybe Steven was okay, maybe he can help her. When she found it, she scrolled through his contacts, finding Steven's name, and she pressed call.

Two rings, then three, finally Steven answered.

"what?"

That.. Steven doesn't answer like that

"Steven?"

"what are you talking about? It's me, Lance! Wallace, is this you?"

"no, it's Cynthia!"

"...what?"

Cynthia groaned, of all the people Steven could've swapped bodies w, the gods decided to swap him w Lance?? She's starting to believe this was some sort of karma, especially after Lance was starting to ramble on too, going on how he doesn't know where he is, in some kind of cave maybe. Cynthia sighed, telling him to just stay there, she'll get him, and maybe they can figure out what's really going on. Arceus grant her the patience, today was gonna be a long day.

Literally with Makoto, yes. It's nice that she has a goal but I think she needs to have realistic standards bc she really just comes off as ignorant and insensitive especially after the whole thing that happens in November, she really just brushes it off as "it was just those specific bad cops" instead of what it actually is. Scaredy Cat AU Masterpost :0 Details about the AU are under the cut

• Inko is Tamakawa's brother (so Tamakawa is Izuku’s uncle); the cat head gene is a sort of vestigial mutation; it's attached to the X chromosome so it's a lot harder for the women in the family to inherit.. but not so hard for the men, even indirectly. Izuku inherits the mutation that skips his mom but that Takamawa has! Giving him a cat head.

• Izuku still gets bullied but for the most part not by Bakugou. Bakugou DOES however make a fair share of comments about Izuku being weak and implying he’ll only ever be Bakugou’s sidekick.

• Izuku is on great terms w Sansa n very rarely seeks refuge in the Police Dept. building as a safe space when the bullying goes too far

• This leads to Izuku meeting Tsukauchi later down the line. Tsukauchi doesnt rlly form a relationship w him, why would he, but hes familiar. When Izuku gets accepted to UA, Tsukauchi tells him that UA takes after Western schooling n offers elective courses to second years n third years n tells Izuku to ask Nedzu if he could swap a quirk theory/analysis class for his eng class (i always hc izuku fluent in english)

•  Thinking also that Sansa goes to Inko when the bullying escalates n then Izuku moves schools, which is how he meets Tokoyami. Spoilers for Xiao and venti

Backstory wise:

So we would need a decarabian, the yaksas, and the nameless bard.

Nameless bard should stick with Venti, but decarbian could likely replace god-bitch for Xiao-

Xiao could be the like God of freedom in a like "I have sworn a contract to protect freedom way"

Except if I was swapping it it would likely have to be Venti who had the contract with Zhongli

So what- decarabian could have the yakshas work understand him that way the karmic dept is still a thing

Xiao and the Yakshas like- decide to turn against decarabian and stop doing his fucking dirty dirty work or something but it's too late cuz of the karmic debt and Xiao, being the one they chose to take godhood can't die from his karmic debt and, seeing his comrades(lmao comrade) dying and suffering as a result of what they were forced to do under opressive rule, takes an oath to trade his freedom for the freedom of others, to protect it until the day he dies.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO- I was- I was trying to think of what Venti's backstory would be..... It's roughly the same as it was- with the unnamed God from Xiao's story swapping to take Decarabian's place in Venti's story- the city would likely be isolated in the whats now the stone fortress or something-

Anyway everything is exactly the same for Venti other than the fact that it's not decarabian..... And the fact that the revolution fails.

Venti, not willing to let his friends' death go to waste seeks out the God of War for a contract. Swearing his life into Morax's service and to protect the people of Liyue, stone spears rain from the sky and the unnamed god is defeated, though the nameless bard didn't ever live to know it.

His form would probably be made of geo tho, since it needs to be made by a god.

Anyway now that that's settled, implications!

Venti actually probably being known as Adeptus Barbatos so he can still travel around as a bard without people asking him for wishes 24/7. Something he can't actually do and a misinformation that he probably started himself as a joke, only to regret it later.

XIAO LOST HIS WINGS TRYING TO FIGHT DURIN ALONE SCREEEEEE!!!! Golden-Winged King didn't want anyone to feel forced to fight if he asked them as a god. Dvalin probably like saved his ass or something. LMAO Dvalin replaces Zhongli as Xiao's dragon-father-figure. Makes it that much more painful when the abyss corrupts him and Xiao initially blame himself because he instinctively assumes the corruption to be the result of his karma.

But when an aquatic monster puts them in danger, Mao is forced to face his fears quicker than he anticipated... (Reference to the Sonic Boom episode I Can Sea Sonic's Fear From Here.)

Optical Delusion: An evil sorcerer casts a curse on Mao Mao that traps him in his worst nightmares. It's up to Badgerclops and Adorabat to enter his dreams and defeat the sorcerer once and for all! (Reference to the Justice League episode Only A Dream.)

Copy That, Copybat: After an injury leaves Adorabat out of commission, she goads Camille into making her a potion that will make her as tough as Mao Mao. The potion works, but there's a nasty side-effect...Adorabat starts getting Mao's memories as well... (Reference to Copycat by Circus-P.)

Dr Dwight Enys, coming home from several years abroad, takes a job in the A&£ dept of St Neot's hospital in Truro, not intending to be completely knocked for six by meeting a certain lovely dermatologist - Dr Caroline Penvenen.

Maternity Ward

“How in the Hell – “ Dwight glared at the blue plastic sign above the double swing doors, as if staring at it hard enough might change it into something that made sense. While he’d admittedly only been working here a week, he couldn’t fathom how anybody found their way around this hospital. It was like a bloody labyrinth. Although that was all relative considering that the last hospital he’d worked in had essentially been three wooden huts stuck together. The St. Neot’s Infirmary was something else altogether.

Technically, his shift was over for today, but since the A&E dept. was currently running a little understaffed he was still on call until late that evening, before having 48 hours off. He had been planning on going home, since his flat wasn’t too far way to make getting back in an emergency unworkable, and he still had some serious unpacking to do. However, what he’d intended to be a quick trip to the HR department to swap his temporary staff card for a permanent one – hideous passport photo and all – had turned into a trip down the rabbit hole.

Blessedly, he knew someone in the maternity unit who would be able to give him directions. Verity Poldark was a senior midwife at St Neot’s, and had been the one to suggest Dwight apply for a job there. He’d met her when he was at medical school with her cousin, Ross, and she’d been a trainee at the university’s teaching hospital.

Verity was standing at the nurse’s station when he went in, looking harassed, her hair coming loose from its pins. It didn’t really look like the time to bother her – maybe he could ask someone else – but she managed a smile when she saw him.

“Hi, Dwight. What brings you here?”

“Being horribly lost, I’m afraid. I was going to ask if you could show me the way but I’ve obviously caught you at a busy time.” The whiteboard behind the desk showed that four o’clock in the afternoon on a Tuesday was apparently a popular time to be in labour.

“No, it’s – “ Before Verity could finish her sentence, the doors swung open again behind Dwight, and Verity looked behind him, breaking into a much wider smile of what seemed like relief.

“George! Thank God!” Dwight turned to find that George was a fair-haired man of about the same age as him.

“Somebody call for an anaesthetist?”

“GET ME THE FUCKING DRUGS!”

“I’ll take that as a yes.” George passed by Dwight without a second glance, heading into the room where the shout had emanated from. Verity made to follow him, but stopped.

“Are you doing anything at the minute, Dwight?”

“Er, no, not really.”

“Want to come and help deliver a very angry lady’s twins?” Dwight thought for a minute; about the pile of boxes he had to unpack and the papers from his aunt’s solicitor he still had to read.

“You know, I would.”

Dwight suppressed a yawn as he signed off on yet another patient form – a 14 year old boy who’d suffered an asthma attack during a PE lesson; he would fine, but Dwight had strongly advised him that it probably wasn’t the best idea to leave his inhaler on his bedside table when he was going to be playing rugby.

This morning had been a complete whirlwind. Five minutes after he’d clocked on, four victims of a car accident had been rushed in, all of whom needed stabilising before surgery; and then an 89-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s who was incredibly distressed after a fall at her care home; two workmen who’d sustained mild burns after a piece of equipment had caught fire. On and on and on they’d come. Friday was often a busy day in A & E – no Saturday night, but it could get chaotic. Just before the 14 year old boy, Dwight had seen a time of death pronounced on an overdose case, so he wasn’t feeling his best.

His 48 hours off hadn’t given him much rest, in the end, although he had collapsed face down on his bed first thing on Wednesday morning after Mrs Teague’s 12 hour-labour, which had ended in the arrival of boy and girl twins, seemingly hale and hearty.

Unlike most of the British hospitals Dwight had worked in, St Neot’s actually had a pretty decent canteen, and he thought a ham salad baguette and packet of posh crisps would hit the spot.

“Dwight! Over here!” Verity waved at him from the corner, and he weaved his way between tables occupied by a mix of uniform clad nurses, doctors in scrubs and patients with dressing gowns over their hospital nighties – the odd one with a drip. He hoped none of them were skipping out on ‘nil by mouth’ orders.

“Hi, Verity. Hello.” Verity was sitting with George, the anaesthetist from Tuesday night, and another woman who’d also been at the delivery. In the chaos, Dwight had never got her name, but he’d gathered she was the on-call obstetrician. She was very pretty, with short, dark brown hair and soft features; her smile was wide and friendly, her eyes warm. Dwight could imagine her being a soothing presence for nervous mothers-to-be. Today, she’d swapped her scrubs for a smart sleeveless blouse, her glasses tucked into the neck.

“Didn’t get a chance to introduce you all properly the other night.” Verity smiled. “Dr Dwight Enys, this is Dr George Warleggan and Dr Elizabeth Warleggan.”

“I assume that’s not a coincidence?” Dwight sat, putting down his tray to exchange handshakes with the other two, who smiled at each other in a way which made their connection rather obvious.

“No. They’re our resident lovebirds.” Verity grinned and Elizabeth shook her head.

“Thank you for your help the other night, by the way.”

“How is Mrs Teague? And the babies?”

“Mmm,” Elizabeth took a pull on the straw of her drink. “All well. They were discharged yesterday – we kept the twins for observation since they both had low blood pressure, but they were right as rain after 24 hours or so.”

“Mrs Teague seemed very…overwhelmed by the experience.”

“Ha! I’ll say.” Verity shook her head. “It takes women lots of ways but, Ruth…”

“All that screaming…” Elizabeth sighed. “And for such a straightforward delivery, especially for twins. I blame TV, you know. People see all those histrionics and they think that’s how it should be.”

“Says the woman who gave me a black eye when she was giving birth!” George cried and Elizabeth gave a dramatic sigh, looking up in an exaggerated appeal to the heavens.

“That was an accident!” She looked at Dwight. “I reached out for his hand during a particularly hard contraction and he happened to be bending forward at the same time…”

“That’s her story!” Dwight laughed. This was obviously a well-worn argument, and he couldn’t help but smile at the obvious affection between the two of them.  He hadn’t got a proper look at George the other night – after administering the epidural he’d only needed to monitor Mrs Teague for a short while before the delivery team could take over, and then he’d been called away for a surgical procedure. Blue-eyed and fine-featured, he certainly made a handsome match with Elizabeth.

“So, how many children do you have?” Dwight asked.

“Two.” Elizabeth picked up her phone, scrolling through before handing it to him. The picture showed an adorable little boy of about three, with dark springy curls, peering curiously at a tiny light-haired baby. “Valentine, he’s nearly four now, and Ursula, she’s just turned one.”

“ – “ They obviously sensed his surprise at the unusual names, and Dwight was briefly afraid he’d offended them, but George smiled.  

“Valentine was born on Valentine’s day, and Ursula was Elizabeth’s great-aunt, she died just before the baby was born. Also, there’s surprisingly little that goes with ‘Warleggan’.”

They chatted more as they ate, Dwight telling them a little about his time with Medicines sans Frontieres – although nothing about why he’d joined the organisation in the first place; even Verity didn’t know the full details there, and he certainly wasn’t ready to talk about it with strangers, even ones as nice as these. He did explain that he’d come home to Cornwall to take care of his Aunt’s estate, and that Verity had persuaded him to join the staff at St Neot’s.

“She’s the best recruiter this place has got!” Elizabeth laughed. “She got her brother here, too. And Demelza!”

Dwight had known Francis for a while, too, although not as well as the other Poldarks – he’d gone to a different uni, and practiced in Scotland for a few years. He was now a consultant ophthalmologist at St.Neot’s – the only one, actually.

“Demelza?” He’d met an awful lot of people since arriving at the hospital a couple of weeks ago, but he couldn’t remember her. He was sure he’d remember someone with such an unusual name.

“One of the hospital pharmacists.” Verity explained. “I met her at a yoga class, and she told me she wanted a change from her old job…”

“I think Dr. Martin said we were short a few A & E nurses if you fancy taking that on?” Verity elbowed him and he laughed. Suddenly, there was a beeping noise, and all four of them rummaged in their pockets.

“It’s me. Emergency surgery. Nice to meet you, Dwight.” With a quick kiss for Elizabeth, George was gone, his wife smiling after him.

“Aww…” Verity cooed.

“Shut up.” Elizabeth said primly, fighting a grin.  

“No, I love it. You give this sad singleton hope for true love.” Verity sighed with exaggerated dreaminess, and Elizabeth snorted. After a moment, Dwight became aware of someone standing behind him, just as Elizabeth smiled widely.

“Caroline! Here, meet the new A & E registrar I told you about. Dwight, this is Dr Caroline Penvenen.” Dwight turned to greet the new arrival, and found himself completely lost for words.

Notes Elle takes Ludger’s role as Xilla 2’s protagonist, but she isn’t silent.

She’s still very outspoken and more upfront about the cruelty of both Origin’s Trial and paying off her debt

She bonds with Alt. Jude rather quickly, they take the roles of Ludger’s parents

Elle is more vocal about her distaste for Jude Maxwell, but never up front rude to him.

She loves cooking, but isn’t quite a housewife

The only reason she wears butterflies everywhere is because she thinks they’re cute

He loves cats, and often asks Elle if he can take in the strays

Other than his mother’s pocket watch, his cat plushie he called Pollo is his most prized possession

He’ll never tell Jude Maxwell his distaste for him to his face, but he will tell Elle all about it.

Luke definitely killed people blowing up those Death Stars. He killed soldiers who were working in enemy death ships designed to blow up entire planets.

But oh, yes, the Empire was creating jobs! How lovely! Sure, they wee creating jobs by wreaking destruction across the entire galaxy in an insatiable thirst for power, but no, the rebels trying to stop the murderers from murdering more people are the real villains.

• Inko is Tamakawa's brother (so Tamakawa is Izuku’s uncle); the cat head gene is a sort of vestigial mutation; it's attached to the X chromosome so it's a lot harder for the women in the family to inherit.. but not so hard for the men, even indirectly. Izuku inherits the mutation that skips his mom but that Takamawa has! Giving him a cat head.

• Izuku still gets bullied but for the most part not by Bakugou. Bakugou DOES however make a fair share of comments about Izuku being weak and implying he’ll only ever be Bakugou’s sidekick.

• Izuku is on great terms w Sansa n very rarely seeks refuge in the Police Dept. building as a safe space when the bullying goes too far 

 • This leads to Izuku meeting Tsukauchi later down the line. Tsukauchi doesnt rlly form a relationship w him, why would he, but hes familiar. When Izuku gets accepted to UA, Tsukauchi tells him that UA takes after Western schooling n offers elective courses to second years n third years n tells Izuku to ask Nedzu if he could swap a quirk theory/analysis class for his eng class (i always hc izuku fluent in english

•  Thinking also that Sansa goes to Inko when the bullying escalates n then Izuku moves schools, which is how he meets Tokoyami. Izuku theorizes that they’re related bc mutation quirks giving someone an animal head and human body aren’t.. quite common without them being related. Turns out yes! They’re distant cousins
