Adamsapple Angst Week 2025 Day 3 - Self Loathing

Lucifer: You're looking so forlorn. Is something wrong?

Adam: That plant here was dying, and then I made it rejuvenate with my touch somehow.

Lucifer: And that is... a bad thing?

Adam: It's something I sure as fuck couldn't do when I was alive.

Adam: No matter how hungry we were, a withered crop would stay withered.

Lucifer: But you surely could do that as an angel.

Adam: Yeah, sure... as an angel.

Of course holy powers come along with divine ordainment, that's not what Adam's grippling with... but now he's sunken to the level of a common sinner and still has abilities he only could have dreamt of on earth. How come the ground isn't cursed for him anymore, now of all times?

adam had been living in the hotel for about a week now. it was... turbulent. no one had tried to attack him (yet) but he wasnt exactly on good terms with much of anyone. Oft when in converstations hed be internally cringing over what his words had been in that fit of rage. had he really thought all those things or was it in the moment? he couldnt come up with an answer even himself he moved to the bathroom attached to his assigned room, mostly to preen at his wings, hed tried to do that before to calm himself down a little and had not been able to do it for nearly long enough nor gotten the feathers nearly smoothed down enough "you know you could kill everyone" the mirror almost seemed to speak to him shut up "youd be powerful enough to. they had SOOO many of your girls' weapons, i bet they stashed it somewhere" such a malevolevant glee shut up "maybe then sera would take you back. maybe then your girls would recognize you. Great Adam, Killed All of Hell Singlehandedly For Redemption!" an ugly laugh shut up the mirror shifted, he couldnt tell if this was trickery or reality anymore, seeing himself in his former robes, with his perfectly managed golden wings, and with his halo. his halo. "or are you too fucking pussy to even try huh? do you actually think they want to redeem you? theyre just lulling you into a false sense of security" shut. up "the morningstar brat, we shouldve told the girls to aim for her, not fucking vaggie. were she dead you wouldnt have all these problems and youd actually still be strong. now youre just as sinful as in eden" "Shut. Up" "oh the truth hurts it dont it? you gonna fucking cry and sing a showtune about it, or are you actually going to prove to the bitches of hell that YOU-" a swift motion of his head. it was all he needed.

My Demon!Adam Concept!!

I was inspired by Kintsugi pottery-- since blue and gold are prominent parts of Adam's original color scheme, and the name 'Adam' means "soil" or "earth".

Since they figured out redeeming demons earlier since Charlie was born quite early in the living of humanity they made Purgatory over Pride Circle where are sent redeemable sinners (you can work to be redeemable or end up there automatically after dying)

Lute manages to find SinnerAdam down in Hell after the season 1 finale and they have some late revelations XD

This is one of those things where I have an idea for a potential story, but can't form an actual fic around it, so instead I can at least draw a little something for it to get the idea out there XD Namely, here, it's the idea that Lucifer's contract with Heaven and the Exterminators (which Lute mentions in episode 1) actually had a bit of a loophole that could easily leave him defenseless while it's still in effect

Day 3: Body Worship/ Garden

Adam isn’t used to his fallen form yet and think he’s hideous (even if he constantly bloat to the others about how he’s still handsome and all that) Lucifer doesn’t like the constant wince and hateful look Adam keep directing towards himself, so he decided to do a lil something until Adam stop putting himself down :pp

couple of users pointed out that adam wouldve likely tried to break his horns off after realizing hes a sinner, however i think it runs a bit deeper than that with adam, which has inspired this point in the story

which also good grief this damn blorbo of a man has me making a wholeass STORY and i dont know whatd be best doing proper comic style shit or the writing style things ive done for other posts about my sinner adam
