Fun things overheard in Delusia

I just finished a week at our local county fair where my wife and I were a vendor. This is the time of the year where we actually do make some money. However, there is a giant downside to going to all these county fairs and events. Politicians and political parties are everywhere manning booths and saying some of the most insane crap you have ever heard in your life.

These are just some of the examples overheard at this week's event by the counties republican party leaders, who happened to have the booths next to ours.

"Women shouldn't be president because it goes against God."

"We can't elect Kamala Harris because we will be at war the first time she has her period." These are the same people who think women's eggs dry up and become useless at thirty? Have they never heard of menopause?

"Democrats are 'demons'; 'vermin'; 'murdering babies'; 'importing illegals to vote in our elections, steal your job, and ruin the country'; "Against God'; 'Evil'; trying to turn your children gay/trans' - etc. etc. etc. you get the picture.

"All the founding fathers were devout Christians who wanted a theocratic form of government, because they all went to seminary school." I really, really wanted to go over and argue about this one, but I held my tongue.

"Benjamin Franklin was a devout fundamentalist who despised other religious groups." Never mind that he was well known to have donated and visited every type of church around, even the Jewish synagogue of Philadelphia(?) I believe. Some presidential historian might have to verify that one for me.

"If Trump loses we need to take our country back and start murdering us some democrats."

repeatedly - "God, Guns, and pro-life" in that damn order because of a shirt they were selling.

I could go on and on, but why? More than once my wife looked over at me and gave me this look like, "can I just go over and do something about this?" Being a former marine her idea of taking care of this may not be totally acceptable under the circumstances. Unlike past years where I would take the time to try and call them out on their BS or at least try and reason with them to see sense, I avoided it this year. We were surrounded by numerous fundamentalist Christian booths and Trump merchandise sellers, and more than a few of them were armed the whole time or showing off their great little stun baton at every opportunity.

I wish Americans would stop making their political party their entire personality.

So villainous aired in germany? Cool!! They edited the crossover tho. Demencia is called Delusia (then we can conclude her name is gonna change depending of the country the show is in) and also a german fan told me that there was a bit of the short that got cut out (at the beginning where you can see the close-up of black hats mouth while he asks "and demencia?").

Still is interesting that the crossover has been in America, Europe and now I suppose Asia is the next one.

Im so thankful they didnt translate Black Hat's name xd

Meet Illusia Delusia. Illusia dwells in the darkest depths of the ocean, always poking her nose (or what’s left of it) in things that she shouldn’t out of burning curiosity. Poor Illusia dreams of wandering and longs for the thrill of adventure, but her lower body is covered in stationary coral affixed to the ocean floor, so she isn’t physically able to move far. No worries though, she’s quite the lazy type so she doesn’t mind staying in one place for long periods of time doing absolutely nothing.

Illusia Delusia doesn’t talk much, either. While she is capable of unzipping her mouth to speak and to eat, she prefers to keep her mouth zipped shut in case of unwarranted comments slipping out.

Illusia also deeply values her incredibly outlandish imagination which is generated by constant hallucinations. These hallucinations inspire her creativity for personal art projects. But again, she tends to be much too lazy and unmotivated to even start one.

ARMS. My mother took a picture of my arms when I was holding a box on September 23rd 2018 in White Lake, Michigan that was used for the arms of my monster.

BRACELET. I took a picture of a handmade bead bracelet on September 25th 2018 in White Lake Michigan that was used as a jewelry piece around my monster's arm.

GLASSES. I took a picture of my own glasses on October 1st 2018 in White Lake, Michigan that were placed on the face of my monster.

EARRING. I took picture of an earring on October 1st 2018 in White Lake, Michigan that was used as a nose ring for my monster.

BATHROOM MAT. I scanned an image of a bathroom mat on October 1st 2018 in White Lake, Michigan that was used as a texture on my monster's body.

LEAF SWIRLS. The swirls on the leafy parts of my monster were drawn by me on October 1st 2018 through Photoshop CS4.

Self analysis

Given my limited knowledge on the many tools of Photoshop, I would have to say that I’m pretty pleased with the outcome of my creation. I managed to incorporate several elements taken from different species of animals and various objects into one amalgamation without making them look too inconsistent. I like that my character has a good use of analogous cool colors to compliment the abyssal background I added. However, I believe that I still could have incorporated more photographs of myself to make this character more based on myself rather than just an addition of my arms and glasses. I also think that I could have done a better job adding a blue gradient overlay over the whole image to really give my character the appearance that she’s underwater.
