Is India really going to be renamed as 'Bharat'?
Aah you are gonna get me banned from here and red listed by the Indian govt 😭😭😭 buckle up, this will be a long one
So, bharat is already a name for the country. It's the Indian hindi name. So the constitutions Article 1 says 'India that is Bharat shall be a union of states.....' so it's already a name.
Now the government seemingly had no problems with the name ' India' before this month really. Infact in 2016 some conservative nationalist had gone to the Supreme Court petioning that we need to change the name since 'India's a foreign name, colonial etc etc' and back then, the same government had said no need to change it, it's the choice of the people. You wanna call it India you can, or if you wanna call it Bharat you can.
Now it's just rumors at this point but the people have been saying pretty much that the government is going to change the name. Media houses have hyped the rumor up. Celebrities have jumped in etc. Full on political storm at this point.
So the issue comes from the fact that the opposition basically all the opposition parties came together and formed an Alliance for the next elections happening in 2024 and they named themselves I.N.D.I.A. And since the day they formally decided to come together, it's only been political drama. Now you can easily guess where this thing about changing the name has come from. It's nothing but blatant insecurity.
The ruling party is not doing well there's been a lot of issues of their own doing. They're losing state elections. They've lost a lot of momentum due to their mishandling of a lot of things especially the Civil War situation in the state of Manipur, the way they have used religion as a way to divide people all across the country, the very high inflation, the basically non response to the environmental crisis - sinking of Joshimath, flash floods all across the country this monsoon, the washing away of roads, buildings collapsing like a house of playcards basically in the state of himachal. The government's Covid response? Disgusting.
Then there's a lot of other problems like for example the Indian wrestlers were protesting against the chairman of their federation. He's a bjp mp and the atheletes were accusing him of sexual harassment and the government didn't respond for a long time. He resigned but he still an MP in Parliament by the way.
Then the controller and auditor general (CAG) the one who actually audits the govt accounts, all the expenditure on the Indian treasury etc. They've actually released reports saying that a lot of the developmental projects have used excess money than what they were supposed to have used as per the initial estimates so that's another thing. Also there's very little press freedom, almost non exisitent freedom for activists. There's very little transparency especially when it comes to things established by this government.
They also tend to also put the laws in the constitution on the back burner and do their own thing as per their own whims. Don't even get me started on the kind of expenditure they are doing for the G20 summit happening right now. And the other things surrounding it in terms of organization etc, just search about what they've done to the low income areas of Delhi during this time on the internet and you'll find out
These are just a few issues, there's a lot more and I'm not putting them here since it's already turned into an essay. But safe to say that M*di and his govt would have had very stiff competition in the elections next year because a large population of the people are just not interested in their whataboutry now and want the real tangible things to be done on ground in terms of Healthcare, planning, education etc.
And if they actually do it, change the name I mean then it is basically a last ditch by the government to get their ardent supporters back on their side, give them a shot of nationalism and make sure they vote for them next year.
Legally speaking article 1, which I mentioned above it can be amended but till what level can you amend it? That's what I'm unsure about and I have been researching for the past few days, so still in the process of it. Because the thing is that the Indian constitution is both rigid as well as flexible. Basically means that, you can amend the constitution but you can't encroach upon or you can't change its basic structure like the main tenants which make it the document that it is. So I'm not particularly sure over how much the first article be amended to facilitate this name change. It's not even a name change really it's the deletion of one of the names.
The name which is basically what everybody knows the country as. If they do change it then it would be nothing but a political gimmick but also it will be a waste of a lot of taxpayer money. I'm honestly scared to calculate how much it would cost and what all would need to change from people's legal documents, to names of state institutions, their documents, the public sector firms, educational institutions etc.
Another issue is the language, Bharat is the Hindi name and a lot of states might not accept given the fact that their local languages have always been given a lower position as compared to the North Indian Hindi. Then there's the history attached to it the name India and the govt will be basically bulldozing all that has been associated with it if they delete it.
Now people who've never actually opened a book up in their lives say that this is a name given by the British so it's our Colonial Legacy etc, but the thing is the name 'India' is actually related to the ancient Greeks who used to trade with the people of the indus Valley civilization. Locally the indus river was known as 'sindhu' and they in their own language translated it to 'indus' and thus, the word India came into being - the people who lived on the indus Valley were thus called 'Indians'. And then this name India given by the Greeks was later exported to other western cultures etc. So not a colonial Legacy after all.
A lot of other things also but the gist is that the name change/name deletion situation is a very slippery slope to go down.
Once again saying that it's just rumors at its point, but I won't be surprised that they are thinking it. the government is known to take pretty significant and often rash decisions without any prior information to anybody. Still it's just rumors till now.

Lula in China: The End of Brazil’s Flirtation With the Quad Plus
The new Lula administration has brought Brazil’s China policy back in line with its traditional approach, after the anti-China rhetoric of Jair Bolsonaro.
In 2018, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi dismissed the idea of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad), formed by the United States, Japan, India, and Australia, asserting that it would “dissipate like sea foam.” The Quad, created to facilitate the convergence of the four countries in terms of policies toward the Indo-Pacific, not only proved to be resilient over time but also intensified its activities in the region under both former U.S. President Donald Trump (2017-2021) and current President Joe Biden. During this period, the consultation between the group members went from being a biannual foreign ministerial dialogue to head of government-level consultations.
Analysts introduced the term Quad Plus in 2020 to describe a minilateral dialogue of states that extends the Quad beyond the four lynchpin democracies. However, while the term “Quad Plus” is not officially endorsed by Washington, Canberra, New Delhi, and Tokyo, it has become shorthand for non-Quad members that are closely cooperating with the group. That list includes other important U.S. partners such as Brazil, South Korea, Vietnam, Israel, New Zealand, and France. The idea originated during the uncertainty and global tensions at the time of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first concretization of the Quad Plus framework took place on March 20, 2020, when then-U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun proposed a Quad meeting including Vietnam, New Zealand, and South Korea, which aimed to enable an exchange of assessments of the national pandemic situation of participant nations and align their responses to contain its spread. Later, a foreign ministers-level meeting in May 2020 with the participation of Israel, South Korea, and Brazil consolidated the Quad Plus with a global outlook. The extended initiative also materialized for the first time in the security realm in April 2021, when France led the La Pérouse Naval Exercise in the Bay of Bengal.
The unstated motivation of the Quad is the shared concern among the four original members about the rise of China’s international political and economic clout and the desire to check Beijing’s increasing military activities in the South and East China Seas. At the time, Brazil seemed to share such wariness in relation to Beijing since it was under the Jair Bolsonaro administration (2019-2022). The far-right former Brazilian Army captain aligned the country’s foreign policy to Washington’s interests. Bolsonaro also embraced fierce anti-Chinese rhetoric due to his distaste for Communism and China’s growing investments in sensitive Brazilian sectors like agriculture, meatpacking, and mining. Bolsonaro insinuated that China had engineered the COVID-19 virus and purposefully spread it worldwide to benefit from the pandemic economically.
Despite contentious relations with the East Asian power, Brasília failed to concretize a rapprochement with the Quad. It happened for three main reasons. First, Brazil is clueless about the Indo-Pacific. It lacks a full-fledged long-term strategy toward the region and has failed to include the very term “Indo-Pacific” in its official vocabulary. Brazil’s geographical position, facing the South Atlantic Ocean, and its limited capacities of naval power projection beyond marginal seas make it unlikely that Brasília will be able to ensure the freedom of navigation in a region half a world away. For example, among the last seven IBSAMAR Naval Exercises, carried out with India and South Africa, Brazil deployed an offshore patrol vessel to Goa only once.

also!! guys its WORKING. the work the epa and climate activists are doing is literally working currently. there have been dolphin sightings in nyc as recently as july this year (2023). in the hudson and east river. these rivers were so polluted that swimming in them used to basically be a death sentence and that's within living memory.
this is in india, but the ganges has RECENTLY (for some time in 2020 and 2021) been clean enough to drink from. this was during the height of covid lockdown and it has since become too dangerous to drink from again. but this is the fifth most polluted river we are talking about. and literally just a few years ago it became clean enough that you could DRINK from it.
delhi in recent years has been covered in a thick layer of smog and pollution year round except for during the monsoon. in 2020, the sky was clear and blue in the middle of winter (peak smog season). my dad who lives in delhi sent my photos of the sky every day. it hadn't been like that since he was a child. i was in delhi for the 2022-2023 winter season and the sky was clear and blue FAR more than i remembered it from my own childhood (around 2007-2009 is when i lived in delhi).
do NOT let yourself lose hope. improving the pollution and climate change situation is not just possible, it is happening right now. we know how to do it and we are currently doing it. things are changing. we are changing them. we can choose to change them for the better and we HAVE.
today my wisdom is: the ecological crisis of our planet is not a thing that will Suddenly destroy us sometime in the next century—it has taken decades of continuous work for our biosphere to be preserved thus far, and it will take decades more of continuous work to continue preserving it.
The apocalypse is not a single event hovering in the future bearing down on us while we sit helplessly. We are at least 150 years into an ongoing "apocalypse."
Things will continue to steadily get worse without steady action, but "augh! it's already too late to stop climate change and mass extinctions!" is specifically the worst response

Travel Insurance and Trip Cancellation: Know Your Rights
Traveling is a wonderful way to explore new places and create lasting memories. However, unexpected situations can disrupt your plans. In India, where millions of people travel both within the country and abroad—about 80 million are expected to go overseas by 2025—understanding your rights regarding travel insurance and trip cancellations is crucial. Being well-informed can save you from financial losses and unnecessary stress.
The Importance of Travel Insurance
Travel insurance serves as a safety net, protecting you against financial losses if you need to cancel your trip. It can cover costs related to flights, hotels, and activities you may lose money on if your plans change unexpectedly. For example, a round-trip ticket from major cities like Delhi to popular international destinations can cost between ₹30,000 to ₹1 lakh (approximately $360 to $1,200). Without travel insurance, you could end up losing this entire amount if you have to cancel your trip.
Awareness Gap Among Travelers
Surprisingly, around 55% of Indian travelers are unaware of their rights regarding travel insurance, according to a survey by the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI). This lack of knowledge can lead to significant financial losses when cancellations occur. Understanding what your policy covers can help you avoid these pitfalls.
Common Coverage Reasons
Travel insurance typically covers cancellations due to various reasons, such as:
Illness or injury
Family emergencies
Natural disasters
According to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), about 30% of travel insurance claims are related to trip cancellations. However, it’s essential to read the fine print of your policy. Not all reasons for cancellation are covered; some may exclude pre-existing medical conditions or specific unforeseen events.
The Impact of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted how travelers think about insurance. A survey by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) revealed that 75% of travelers now prioritize having insurance that includes pandemic-related cancellations. In response, many Indian insurance providers have started offering plans specifically designed to address COVID-19-related issues.
Filing a Claim
If you find yourself needing to cancel your trip, knowing how to file a claim is vital. Here are a few steps to follow:
Keep All Documentation: Retain important documents like medical certificates, booking confirmations, and any correspondence with airlines or hotels.
Know the Process: Understand your insurance provider's claim process. This may involve submitting forms and supporting documents.
Be Aware of Deadlines: Many insurance companies have specific timeframes within which claims must be filed, so make sure to act promptly.
A report by the IRDAI indicates that about 60% of claims are denied due to insufficient documentation. Keeping thorough records can significantly improve your chances of a successful claim.
Conclusion
In summary, understanding your rights regarding travel insurance and trip cancellations is vital for every traveler. With more Indians traveling than ever, being informed can help you avoid financial losses and provide peace of mind. Before embarking on your next adventure, choose a travel insurance plan that meets your needs, and familiarize yourself with the claims process in case you need to cancel your trip. Being proactive can make all the difference in ensuring a smooth travel experience.

Is Switching to Mobile Apps a Smart Move for E-Commerce Startups?
In a world where smartphones remain the extension of our hands! And everything seems too digital and Robotic, startups have a valid reason to update themselves as viewers have already won the race !! startups have started questioning themselves Should we ditch the website and go all-in on a mobile app? And why not!! Where people have started using applications for their timetables, schedules, meetings, and even health-related concerns because it is easy and just one tap away to download one application and get your things done. Not just Gen-Z but a major population of people have understood the operation of applications and made it easy for themselves.
Start-ups are the powerhouse for the market and give out amazing ideas and innovation into the world, it is just another way to add spice to a bland dish, enhancing the taste. Startups are inventions and something that can solve the problems of customers or users.
They are established by the root of an equation with a problem that needs to be solved or something that can attract the minds of consumers. Like why would someone want to purchase a cover or protection shield for their glass that is used to drink, maybe because after covid everyone wants to be protected from the germs or any infection caused by outer particles, we know it seems exaggerated, but well yes this is an invention which was never thought of before? Or a shoe stretcher, This is also one new invention or creation of an idea, it is a personal problem, getting late for school but this shoe just won’t get into the feet, yes this is what a shoe stretcher is for.
Now how easy it is if you want to get the product or any service, you can just download the app, follow some steps and you make a purchase instead of remembering the website you saw the ad from, it is difficult and depressing.
Why is using an application for brand promotion better for e-commerce startups?
1. Enhanced customer support: one of the most important factors is to treat and entertain your customers right, when you have an application that is maintained and is active and responsive, you can resolve customer issues easily and that is what makes your customer loyal to your brand.
2. Direct Communication: This is the most efficient one, the application makes it easy for the brand and customers to communicate and transact their thoughts or doubts easily, you can just directly message the brand for details, price, etc.
3. Increased Engagement: The brand application can offer various deals, like application purchase sales or maybe social programs, etc to increase interaction and engagement with the customers.
4. Data Collection and Insights: An application keeps track of customers' preferences, likes dislikes, and also has an idea of what customers would like to explore, and then with the help of contact details they just send you lovely automated messages when there is a sale.
These are some of the factors that tell us why switching from traditional methods of marketing to application mode is better and more effective.
Must Read - Digital Marketing Institute Delhi
What is the process of mobile app development?
Well, the process comprises major steps that are followed during developing a mobile application of a brand. Here are the steps listed below:
1. Creation of Idea & Planning
Concept: The first step is to create a concept, about the nature of the brand, the app's purpose, the target audience, the Role of the brand, and the application.
Market research: Analyze the market situation, know about the competitors, and market trends, also how to differentiate it from others.
Calculate requirements: Measure what you need for the application, be it a designer or any technical requirement, etc.
2. Design
Get yourself a graphic designer who can transform your ideas into reality.
Create a layout of your application.
Now add functionality layout.
3. Development
It involves the overall development of the application
Front-End development
Back-end development.
4. Testing
Beta testing: launch the application to a small group of users (beta testers) to get surveys and feedback on its performance, usability, and any potential issues.
Quality check: Check if the application works fine, are all tabs working, etc.
Do E-Commerce startups require a mobile app?
For many startups, establishing a mobile app can be a twist and a positive one. For businesses that are still struggling or moving towards growth, creating an application can help a lot, you need to be everywhere where the customers and users are. To stay in the game you have to move forward as a brand and use different kinds of methods which can help you see digital success. You know Nokia is a legendary brand - and a legendary product, it had its fanbase, now even the best of the product at that time still got stuck in the past, but as the market changed and evolved, Nokia never got to come back due to lack of marketing research. Adding Mobile applications to your brand base can never go wrong, it can help in increasing reach, awareness, loyal customers, better service, etc. Also Read- Seo Classes In Delhi
Conclusion
In conclusion, not every e-commerce startup may need a mobile app, but brands seeking customer loyalty, better customer engagement, smooth streamlined operations, and that their customers know them well should strongly consider it. A well-designed and managed application that stays active and responds to the customer well can help in the growth of the startup. but yes it is necessary to measure the cost and ensure that the brand purpose and customer demands cross the same path. When created strategically an application can do wonders for the start-up and help in solidifying the brand's position in the market.

July 6, 2024 The Beginning
8.56 am
A 24-year-old obese(97.35kg) with hair loss, dark circles, blackheads, and other ugly spots. Yeah! That’s me. As for how I ended up in this state, that’s a long story. Now, I haven’t slept at all last night. As to what I was doing? Why? Of course! My brain was on overdrive. Inspiration! INSPIRATION to write this damn blog won’t leave my mind. Why did God make me mediocre? If I was dull-witted, I would have seen through my capabilities and would work hard in a down-to-earth manner or If I were a genius, I would never be in this state. But God made me mediocre he gives me bursts of inspiration from time to time making me believe myself capable of great things but it is all a dream because inspiration will only accompany me for a few days and afterward it is nowhere to be found.
Anyways, I am Nie, born in a local hospital of Dibrugarh, Assam, India on 24th September 1999. As for the rest of the introduction, we will slowly get to know each other.
5.47 pm
Good evening, I slept all day. I have messages to call My Friend Y. So talk to you later.
5.55 pm
Sighhhh…. Y gave me the task to modify their project’s white paper yesterday. Wait let me explain some things first I will be going to Delhi this Tuesday to hopefully join Y’s business team as a content writer. Y is a friend I met when we attended college together. Because of COVID, we only got to know each other properly for like only one and a half years but I think he is a good person. At least I hope so.
Anyway, I think they are not satisfied with my work. They told me to make their technical content more professional and not to simplify it…. If Y was not my friend, they probably would not want me on their team. I have a feeling I won’t be able to rely on this job to earn money because of my low skills.
8.49 pm
I have no words to explain this. Y showed me some work the design team their team contracted to have done. It was like okay. I have no idea about this. Sure, the designs do not have the wow factor but it is not like I have the say. I only sometimes browse Instagram reels.so I have no idea what social media expects. But then he told me that the designs were very substandard and then told me to make some. I was like perplexed. My self-confidence was already low, and now it took a big hit. I am such a loser and I don’t even know how to improve myself. I know the standard response in this situation is to learn some designing and somehow show them even though I don’t have the skill I should be willing to learn and improve for the team. But to really follow through it is complicated. I feel like standing before a blank canvas but my fingers holding the brush do not move.
I don’t want to face failure. I hate it. I can’t believe I can’t create value for myself when I dreamt of creating value for others as a child. The disappointment, loss, and other complex emotional issues are making me nauseous. I casually asked perplexity but the AI’s answer brought me to a halt.
Suddenly, I understood why I was waiting for the past six years. I was waiting for someone to hold me, guide me, and reassure my way towards the future. I just wanted to wholeheartedly trust someone. I wanted to feel a sense of stability and security. I can only blame myself for the fact that it took an AI to make me see sense.
11.18 pm
Good night

Wait what’s the story with the covid vaccine center? Is it completely fabricated or is there a vaccine center the sussexes are taking credit for?
So during the second wave of covid in Mid 2021, the situation was very-very bad, I live in Delhi and my parents in Bombay and these cities were very badly it. The whole country was. I'm sure you saw news reports about it all.
Delhi was the worst hit. I think during that time as for the estimates by various journalists etc, every household in the city lost at least one member to Covid and related complications. My mum also lost her aunt because of complications after covid during this wave.
So at the time a lot of celebrities were jumping on to the train of trying to establish fundraisers etc to help. A lot of them never panned out or were ever mentioned it again because they got new bandwagons to jump on.
Now it was said that AW was collaborating with this organization which I don't remember the name of now to establish some community relief Center kind of a situation in Bombay. But the thing was that the press release or the articles along with the press release also mentioned that the same establishment would also serve as a covid vaccine center.
Now, community relief Center, that works. There were a lot of them during that time here, before that also and even now. But as for the vaccine center when the vaccine production started and when the inoculation of people started for covid, the government created a whole different kind of a setup which only allowed government government health centers, hospitals etc to be the one giving the vaccine to people. The reason for that was to make sure no dose goes to waste and everybody in the population gets at least the two doses which they needed to get.
They were monitoring how many doses were given to people at a particular centre, how many doses were left with the particular center in stock, how many doses were needed how many do how many people got the first dose, how many people got both the doses etc etc. There was separate app/website created to make sure that there was a record for every person's inoculation. It mentioned everything, the date they got inoculated etc. They were issuing a govt certificate to everyone through that too which stated how many doses one person got.
For a long time not even private hospitals in the contry were given the permission to give vaccines to people. This was the middle of the pandemic. Vaccine shortage was a big-big problem and the government needed to make sure nothing went into the black market market or if anybody with means try to take away doses for their own away from the people having a low income. ETC.
Thus the whole idea of them creating a vaccine inoculation center in collaboration with another charity in the middle of the city does not work. Only government health-centres and much-much later private hospitals were given the option to inoculate people.
The sux never mentioned it again, the center. No peep, nothing. But the thing is their fans try to always point to this thing that they established the vaccine centre in the country. they're the reason the reason people here got the vaccines. Newsflash they aren't. It just pisses me the hell off the way certain celebrities try to extract good PR and a better profile when it comes to such tragedies. Not even the Indian pm has been spared for his use of the covid situation as an election campaign and rightfully so. So ofc some other celebrity won't also.
So that's the whole thing in short.

Within Every Challenge lies an Opportunity for Growth
In the heart of Mohammadpur, Delhi, where hope is as vital as the air we breathe, there lies a beacon of opportunity — the Mohammadpur Community Center. Here, amidst the bustling streets and daily struggles, individuals find not just solace, but a platform for transformation. It is a place where stories of resilience, determination, and empowerment unfold daily, each narrative echoing the triumph of the human spirit over adversity. Within these walls, Neha and Harshita found not just refuge, but a pathway to reshape their destinies. Their journeys, marked by hardship, loss, and uncertainty, stand as testimony to the power of community support and skill empowerment. Through their perseverance, they emerged as symbols of hope, proving that with the right guidance and determination, one can overcome any obstacle. Neha’s story exemplifies the strength born from adversity, as she defied societal norms and financial constraints to carve a path towards independence. Meanwhile, Harshita’s journey showcases the transformative impact of skill training, illuminating the way towards a brighter future despite the darkest of circumstances. These tales remind us that within every challenge lies an opportunity for growth, and within every setback, the seeds of triumph are sown.
Neha’s journey at the Mohammadpur Community Center is a story of determination against odds. With the responsibility of supporting her family, including a brother and two sisters, Neha faced early marriage immediately after completing her 12th grade. Post-marriage, financial pressures intensified as she grappled with her husband’s limited income. Seeking to contribute to her family’s financial stability, Neha approached our community center. After counseling, she enrolled in the Front Office Skill Training program. This 3-month course provided her with comprehensive skills in front desk management, customer service, and administrative duties, equipping her for the professional world. Upon completion, with our support, Neha secured employment as a Front Desk Executive at the Step edge outlet in Palam, Delhi. Her role involves managing the billing counter, where she excels, earning a monthly salary of 13,000 rupees. This job has not only improved her family’s financial situation but also marked Neha as an example of empowerment through skill development. Neha reflects, “The training gave me more than skills; it gave me a sense of self-worth and independence.” Her story is a powerful example of how skill training and personal determination can facilitate breaking barriers and transforming lives.
Before joining the Mohammadpur Community Center, Harshita faced a life-altering challenge. The loss of her parents to the COVID pandemic left her and her brother in the care of their aunt, struggling without proper guidance and support. The turning point came when our coordinator identified her need and guided her towards our skill training programs. Harshita chose the Beauty Wellness Training Course, a comprehensive 3-month certificate program that promised a new beginning. Despite initial hesitations due to travel issues, her understanding of the program’s potential benefits led her to commit wholeheartedly. The course covered various beauty techniques and customer service skills, taught by experienced professionals. Harshita’s dedication was evident as she attended classes regularly, eagerly absorbing knowledge and skills. Her transformation during the program was remarkable. Not only did Harshita acquire technical skills, but she also developed confidence and a vision for her future. “This training has opened new doors for me. I see a path to support my brother and help my aunt,” Harshita shared. Her goal is clear — to achieve financial independence and ensure her brother’s education. Harshita’s story is a testament to how targeted skill training can empower individuals, change trajectories, and foster self-sufficiency.

Hi,
Since quite few months I have tried to argue with myself about this. It is almost 03:00 am here. Let me start off by saying -Belated Happy Birthday!
I hope you are doing well. I know I pray for your wellness wherever you are. I did not have the courage to call you. I cannot, after the conversation we have had. I honestly do not want to create any issues in your life. I don't know if you think of me as your friend or ex-something. I always thought of you as a friend and of course with the history we have...
I did not email or message you to topple your life or take your peace of mind. I promise, I never intended to. If you are dating someone - please explain to her/him that I bare no ill regards. Though I would really appreciate it if you could keep this conversation between us. I am confident that you are on your path of success and that you will always be successful in everything you aim for.
Kashish, I don't know if you remember what I said back then but i told you that i will explain to you once the time is right. To begin, do you remember those days? There were days when Chinmay (who still hasn't forgotten stuff about you) used to taunt me because of something you did but i never paid heed to him. Well, I also made a few mistakes in dublin. Something which i never wanted you to be touched or embarrassed by. I met Indians who traumatised me for life. I wish I could explain what happened that on my birthday some delhi guy hugged me to the point that I fear humans coming close to me. Dublin forced me to become a different person. Maa and Baba spent hours crying as I could barely breathe at night due to the fear of going back to Dublin. I ran away because I was not prepared.
When you asked me of what you should do about masters and postponed it because of the pandemic - I was not in a state of advicing as i was crying 48 hours before that call. What should a girl advise who could barely pass her masters? Who was diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder? Whose parents were crying beside her? I did not want you to identify with me because I did not want anyone to judge you because of me. The Indian community abroad is very small and not everyone has good intentions. I did not want you to be embarrassed because of me. I called in november - I was sick due to Covid and you were the only person I wanted to talk to. Call me very selfish but I just wanted to talk normally. And you yelled at me without explaining, so I don't even know if you will ever read this. And you were right that you have done far more things for me than I have done for you. We are not up for competition. It is not even worth arguing about. Every time I walk, I praise your support and I wish I could turn back time and make things different that year.
I have lost enough friends in my life for my behaviour. I completely take the blame but of all the people I have lost, I regret behaving the way I behaved with you. You have every right to yell at me and not talk. I completely get it. But i do not want to regret that I did not try to make things better between us.
Being your girlfriend was the honour I wish I cherished. I could have behaved so much differently but I was young and utterly stupid.
I don't want anything in return except your understanding of how I have behaved and for all the things I made you go through. I was a very weird and stupid human to not understand how amazing you are. I am really sorry for every hurt I have caused to any stupid situation I made you go through or all the pain you endured because of me. You never deserved my naive behaviour and I did not deserve your incredible attitude.
Anyone in this world is lucky to be with you. I was lucky to have been associated with you no matter how things turned out.
I would write more but honestly I hope you delete this email as soon as you see it in your inbox considering our last conversation. With thirst quenching my throat, I am struggling to decide if i could ever be your friend again, but I think the life we have built for ourselves is sustainable. So maybe in another life we shall meet again and I hope that I don't have to go through this heart-wrenching moment again.
