now that they took ghosts bbc off of hbo max and it appears to be inaccessible via streaming in the US at the moment, i am feeling really validated in my weird "i'm gonna be a doomsday prepper but for dvds!" habit. (did i spend this morning triumphantly watching an episode of ghosts, as if to say to the universe, YOU CAN'T STOP ME!? yes. yes i did.) unfortunately, this means now i am overwhelmed with the pesky urge to buy all series i love that i can only access on streaming on dvd, which seems ...... impractical.
