I keep thinking about Aeron owning hunting hounds. Bc Brackens are so into their horses, I can’t see them also not being into like fox or badger hunting and therefore also breeding hunting dogs. Except Aeron is the Bracken’s failgirl (said with all the love in the world) and he’s got a small collection of retired hounds who are more just lap dogs at this point.

I don’t care that Dachshunds probably aren’t canon to Westeros, Give Aeron a dog that’s as viscous and stubborn and pretty as he is. Or a Basset that’s old and tired and grumbles at the foot of Aeron’s bed. A bloodhound that he brings patrolling the boarders that’s gentle and a hit with the small folks children, but looks like backup.

I just think he’d be a dog person okay
