Your character would be a coven member who has been wary about Jasmine since she first joined the coven. They know that she used to/have seen her perform dark magic and have been concerned about what her presence in the Coven could mean, especially if she ever were to perform dark magic again.

Your character would be a light witch who is dedicated to the Coven. They could have grown up in it or found their way to Lunar Cove later in life. But, they would have been in town on July 4th of 2023 when their supreme, Poppy Reed, died and was brought back to life by her sister, Jasmine.

While your character would have voted to bring Poppy back at the time and, still love and feel thankful that their supreme is alive, they weren't aware at the time of the spell that their own life may have been on the line.

The consequence for bringing a life back from the dead is that death will come and claim and life in return. Everyone at the time assumed, from what Jas alluded to, that death would come and claim the life of someone close to Jas for bringing Poppy back. But, what they didn't know is that the rules for witches within a coven are different. Because Jasmine was a coven member at the time of the spell, the life death came to claim was within the coven.

After the loss of Poppy's mother's life for Poppy to live, you decided that dark magic within the coven should never be used again. While you respect Poppy decisions as your supreme, you secretly view her half-sister to be a huge liability and are counting down the days until she gets kicked out.

hello! just putting together a little resource which is by no means comprehensive, but can be used as a quick reference for some poc fcs with good resources and links to some of their gif hunts. though i’m not an rph, i had made this list already for personal reference and wanted to share in case it brought anyone else inspo. i know there are probably a few of these posts already, but i think the more ways to get people looking at poc fcs, the better! there are so many good poc fcs out there, that it’s a shame we don’t see them more, especially when some have a shocking amount of resources. some of these fcs are already popular, but i figured i’d add them in anyway, though i did try to list out more fcs i don’t see as often.

Description: So I’m looking for a spicy ex-partner connection who would be the baby daddy of Mona’s child and the guy she’s currently in a custody battle with. This connection would probably be around the same age as Mona (playing age of 30-35) and most likely grew up in Roswell as she got pregnant in high school. She ended up dropping out during her senior year to have the baby, Nico, who is now 12 years old. The two were either dating or just hooked up in high-school, and Mona wound up pregnant. Whether your muse wanted her to keep the baby is up to you, but she did. They lived together for a few years after high school in Mona’s foster moms trailer, or maybe they moved out and got their own place in Tripps or the Greystone Complex. I think they got married mostly because it was pretty renegade to get married fresh out of high school, especially when Mona had always been so ‘I-don’t-need-a-man’. Their engagement was a shock to everyone, including them. There was definitely love there on Mona’s part. Whether your muse loved her is up to you. After three years together, they realised their marriage (or engagement, if you don’t want them to have been married) just wasn’t working. They filed for a divorce, which was completed the following year.

Until he was around 9, their son Nico lived with Mona and her mom at the trailer park and saw his dad at the weekends, and in the evenings. Mona was dealing with addiction and substance abuse for most of the time Nico was in her care, although she never used around Nico, and took her duties as a mother super seriously. Her mom (or your muse) reported her to social services when they found out she was using. She packed a suitcase and her and Nico drove off in her pick-up truck, because having grown up in the care system, she couldn’t face Nico suffering the same fate she did. Because she was worried he’d end up in care, it would probably make sense that your muse was also struggling with addiction, had some kind of criminal history that may prevent him from getting custody, had moved away from Roswell at this point, or just didn’t want custody of Nico. Eventually, Mona and Nico were tracked down by social services, and Nico was temporarily put in the care of your muse. I imagine Mona and your muse have a very explosive relationship, which was only exacerbated by Nico being put in his father’s care. This would have been made way worse if your muse was the one who called social services. They can go from play fighting to a full on scrap in seconds, mostly because Mona is quite hot-headed. Other than being exes on bad terms who were at school together, it’s quite open to interpretation and I’m happy to change any of these details. If you don’t see your character getting married, that could still work, maybe they never married, they just lived together and broke up after a few years.
