Dersecest did happen, or at least, implied to have been a thing by Andrew Hussie in the book commentaries. Only in the doomed timeline that Dave (who would become) Davesprite, is said to have fucked with Rose. Even after they were confirmed siblings, it didn't stop shippers from pairing them together. As well as the fact sometimes they would make incest comments. Like Dave thinking Rose's mom was hot and how he thought Jane was hot too for a grandma. It's fiction. Shit ain't real. Same thing for Dirk and Roxy. Roxy having an interest in Jane's dad means Strilondes have a deep rooted incest complex.
