cw: alcohol consumption, tipsy kissing
ok, fine, you could admit it.
you were jealous.
and you knew there was so reason to be. you and luke were friends, best friends, but still just friends.
so why did it bother you so much to see him talking to another girl?
the weird part is that this wasn't even the first time. you had seen luke flirt with tons of the girls here at camp, it wasn't new.
but for some reason, this time it made your blood boil.
luke was sitting by the campfire next to grace mcormick from athena cabin. stupid grace, you thought, except you knew she wasn't stupid. in fact, she was really smart, and pretty, and good with a sword. and shes annabeths sister, which already gave her a one up on you. because as much as you and annabeth were close, you weren't her actual sister, not like grace was.
and its not like you were insecure. not to brag, but you didn't really have much to be insecure about. you were a daughter of aphrodite (which guaranteed beauty and grace), you were pretty popular, and you were well trained with your own dagger. and it also wasn't like you got no male attention, you definitely got some.
so why did it bother you so much?
grace threw her stupid head back as she laughed at one of his stupid jokes, and you felt anger boil inside your chest. so what, hes making other girls laugh now?
you knew you were being irrational, and it was probably due to the red cup with some sort of alcoholic beverage in it, but you couldn't help it.
you knew luke was allowed to flirt, to kiss, to do whatever with whoever. but it didn't stop what you were all the sudden feeling.
jealously. red, hot, angry jealously.
"you good?" the voice of a child of ares, aaron, snaps you out of your envious trance as you sigh, taking another drink.
"fine," you mumble, turning to him. he has a confident smile on his face, his eyes flickering from the scene at the campfire back to your face.
he chuckles, "really? then why are you staring at them like you want to kill 'em?"
you sigh and cover your face with your free hand in embarrassment. "you saw that?"
he laughs again. "yeah, i saw that. but dont worry, dont think anyone else saw," you sigh in relief, "but, i mean, i only really noticed 'cause i was looking at you, so..."
oh. hes flirting.
you tilt your head at him, as if considering him. you could admit that he was attractive. he had brown hair and brown eyes, and he had a muscular build (which is expected of children of ares). from what you had seen, he was pretty funny, and confident - all of which you were attracted to.
but, you truly couldn't help it as a little voice nagged in the back of your mind - he isn't luke.
sensing you weren't going to say anything, aaron nodded his head towards the campfire. "so, whats goin' on with that? you n'luke".
you take a sip of your drink, shrugging, looking in that direction for a moment. "we're friends, i guess," you reply distractedly.
aaron hums. "so, he wouldn't mind that m'talkin' to you, right?"
you let out a giggle, though it feels forced. "no, of course not."
you don't let yourself look back at luke again, and instead try and focus on adrian - or was it aaron? you couldn't exactly remember, but you were conversing with him, and it wasn't unpleasant.
he was pretty nice, and easy to talk to you. he even made you laugh a few times. so when he suggested that the two of you get out of there, you decided to accept his offer.
he led you to a tree away from the gathering, and before you knew it, the two of you were kissing. alex-sorry, aaron, was going all in, tongue and all, and whilst you tried to get into it - you just couldn't. you remember luke at the campfire with grace, and you wondered if they had snuck away to do the same thing you were, and instead of your previous anger, you felt your heart ache with sadness. you didn't want luke to be kissing other girls, you wanted to be the only one. with that realization your eyelashes fluttered open and your eyes became glassy, so you pushed aaron off.
he looked at you confused, and maybe a bit annoyed. "what? what happened."
you felt guilt stir in your stomach. "i-im so sorry, i just cant." you begin running away, feeling not only sad, but embarrassed and confused.
eventually, you run into someone, and you look up to see luke.
"hey, i was just look- why are you crying?" he asks, interrupting himself.
you cover you face as a sob wracks your body. "im fine."
his hands grab your shoulders. "ok, your obviously not fine. just tell me."
you shake your head and remove your hands from your eyes. "nothing, i just feel stupid." you say quietly, wiping mascara stained tears off your cheeks.
luke sighs and looks around, realizing that there are other people around, so he takes you away from the crowd and into one of the empty cabins.
he closes the door behind him and looks are you expectantly. "does this have something to do with that ares kid you walked off with?"
you snap your head towards him with a confused expression. "what? no - well, kinda but, no," you groan and sit on a bed, "no, anthony - i mean, aaron, he was nice."
luke raised his brows at you. "you dont even know this kids name?" he asks, sounding critical. "and nice isn't really a characteristic of an ares kid, princess. besides, i know the kid, and hes a dick." he explains, crossing his arms.
you narrow your brows as you look up at him. "well, he was nice to me." you didnt know why you were acting like that. you had barely talked to the guy, and you trusted what luke was saying. maybe you wanted to make him jealous, the way he did.
he scoffs. "yeah, and that explains why your crying." he purses his lips, and takes a deep breath. you could tell he felt a little bad for being direct with you, so his expression softened up. "you should just stay away from him."
you let out a huff of indignation, standing up. "i wasnt crying because of him, ok, i was just frustrated," you explain, crossing your own arms, "and since when do you tell me what to do? i can make my own choices, y'know."
he sighs, running his hands down his face. "look, im sorry it came off like that, im just trying to protect you. your my best friend, obviously i care about you."
you scoff. "oh really? didnt look that way when you were basically drooling at grace all night."
luke steps back and raises his brows at you, his expression of mild frustration relaxing.
as if realizing how your words came across, you fold your lips inwards and look away.
"you're jealous," luke states. it wasnt a question, and he wasnt leaving room for debate. it was a fact. you were jealous.
"no," you splutter, backtracking. "of course not."
a smug smile makes its way to his features. "yes, you are. you're jealous."
more tears come into your eyes. he thinks its funny? "get over yourself luke, gods," you cross your arms and turn your head. "im glad its amusing to you," you sniff, before walking towards the door.
he grabs your wrist to pull you back. "no, no, thats not how i meant it. i-," he laughs a little, "gods, im sorry, princess, its not funny. its just...the whole reason i was even talking to grace was because i wanted to make you jealous." your eyes widen in realization, and you're left speechless.
"a-and i know how stupid that is, and i didnt think it would go this far but...i dont know, im sorry, princess, really."
its silent for a moment before you look up at him. hes looking down at you with so much affection, and admiration, that you cant help yourself but raise on your tippy toes and place a gentle kiss on his lips.
lukes hands immediately grabbed your waist and pulled you closer, and yours cupped his sharp jaw. your lips moved harmoniously against each other, and something about it felt just so right. after a few long seconds, you pull away and look up at him, your lashes fluttering.
you giggle then bite your lip. "gods, im a idiot." you mumble.
he chuckles. "no your not. i am. i should've just...i dont know, not tried to make you jealous."
you giggle. "well, now you know."
and without a single complaint, you and luke spent the rest of the night kissing in the empty cabin, whispering new promises to each other - including to never make the other jealous ever again.

pretty when you cry, clarisse la rue
summary: based on this post by @kitten-reader
warnings: aphroditeâs kids are pricks lol, erm itâs really badâŚ
wc: 2.8k
your hair was something that you prided yourself on.
it was no doubt that you were beautiful beyond comparison to your fellow demigods, what with being the daughter of aphrodite. people couldnât even compare you to your godly siblings.
you believed that your hair was the reason that your beauty was so great, so you natural worked hard on it.
in the world of olympians, you found solace and pride in the strands of hair that cascaded down your shoulders like a cascade of silk. your hair, a manifestation of your divine heritage, was more than just a physical attributeâ it was a symbol of your identity and a testament to the grace and allure that came with being the offspring of the goddess of love.
from the moment you discovered your parentage, you embraced the inherent charm that ran through your veins, and it manifested prominently in your hair. unlike the messy, unpredictable tresses of some demigods, yours seemed to have a life of its own, obeying your whims and desires with a luxurious sheen that captivated those around you.
the secret, as you often shared with your fellow campers at camp half-blood, lay in the meticulous care you bestowed upon your locks. your morning routine became a sacred ritualâ a blend of enchanted hair care products and divine techniques passed down through generations of aphrodite's children. a symphony of sweet-scented potions and ethereal brushes transformed the routine into a dance of beauty, each stroke accentuating the natural glamour that radiated from your hair.
you revelled in the attention your hair garnered, the way it shimmered under the sunlight as if kissed by the gods themselves. it became a beacon of confidence, a tangible manifestation of your divine heritage that set you apart from the sea of demigods at the camp. the other campers often marvelled at your ability to maintain such perfection, unaware of the divine secrets woven into every strand.
however, your relationship with your hair wasn't purely superficial. it served as a connection to your mother, a link to the goddess whose legacy you carried. the act of caring for it became a ritual that grounded you, a reminder of the divine blood that coursed through your veins and the responsibilities that came with it.
not unbeknownst to you, the envy and resentment simmered beneath the surface of the camp. the adoration and attention that accompanied your divine beauty fuelled the flames of jealousy among your fellow aphrodite siblings. little did you realise, being the favourite child of the goddess of love came at a cost, and that cost was the disdain of your own kin.
as you moved through the camp with the grace of a deity, your radiant hair attracting attention like a beacon, you, though aware of the hostile whispers that followed in your wake, chose to ignore. the other children of aphrodite, who were accustomed to being the centre of attention, couldn't fathom the idea of sharing the spotlight with someone they perceived as the golden child.
the jealousy manifested in subtle acts of exclusion and passive-aggressive remarks. your attempts to connect with your half-siblings often met with cold shoulders and thinly veiled animosity. the communal vanity table, where aphrodite's children traditionally gathered, became a battlefield of unspoken rivalry as they vied for the elusive title of the most captivating demigod.
yet, you, in your innocence, continued to extend kindness and friendship to those around you, oblivious to the resentment building in the hearts of your fellow campers. the intricate braids and enchanting hairstyles you generously offered to create for others only fuelled their frustration, as they struggled to reconcile the warmth of your gestures with the envy burning within them.
within the intricate dynamics of camp half-blood, one particular relationship defied expectations and unfolded with a complexity that left others bewildered. clarisse la rue, known for her brusque demeanour and a reputation that preceded her, stood as an unexpected confidante in your life. despite her gruff exterior and the scathing remarks she directed towards most campers, clarisse treated you with an unusual gentleness, and a unique bond formed between you two.
it all began during a chance encounter near the armoury, where clarisse, with her characteristic scowl, found herself inexplicably drawn to you. to the surprise of everyone witnessing the scene, her rough hands delicately traced the contours of your locks, as if handling a precious artefact. the camp's collective gasp echoed through the air, and it was then that an unspoken connection began to weave itself between you and the formidable daughter of ares.
clarisse, who seldom allowed others into her personal space, not only tolerated but seemed to relish the moments spent running her fingers through your hair. your shared interactions defied the logic of the camp's social hierarchy, leaving fellow demigods perplexed and intrigued by the peculiar alliance that had blossomed between you two.
as your friendship with clarisse deepened, it became apparent that her seemingly abrasive exterior masked a vulnerability that few had the privilege to witness. she confided in you about the weight of expectations placed upon her shoulders as the daughter of ares, the god of war. your hair, with its calming allure, became an unexpected refuge for her, a sanctuary where she could momentarily escape the demands of her tumultuous life.
in the quiet moments shared between you and clarisse, amidst the backdrop of a camp constantly on guard against mythical threats, an unexpected emotion began to stirâ love. the kind of love that transcended the lines drawn by parentage and reputations. it was a love born out of understanding, acceptance, and the shared vulnerability that only the tumultuous world of demigods could evoke.
the camp, initially taken aback by the unlikely friendship, eventually came to accept the profound connection that had blossomed between you and clarisse. the daughter of ares, who once stood as an enigma wrapped in hostility, softened in the presence of your divine beauty and the solace found within the cascade of your hair.
as your feelings for each other deepened, the two of you navigated the complexities of love in a world fraught with danger. clarisse's protective instincts, honed on the battlefield, as well as in camp. together, you became an unlikely force, a symbol of love's ability to bridge even the most unexpected divides.
there was a time when a group of your own siblings, fuelled by jealousy and resentment, conspired to disrupt the tranquil rhythm of your bonds with your mother and girlfriend. one day, your prized possession, a hairbrush gifted by your mother, disappeared from its usual place. panic set in as you scoured the cabin, realising that this wasn't just a casual prankâ someone had deliberately taken something sacred to you.
as whispers of the stolen hairbrush circulated through the cabin, the undercurrents of jealousy among your siblings bubbled to the surface. the mischievous culprits revelled in their act of sabotage, convinced that stripping you of this cherished item would somehow diminish the radiance that surrounded you.
it didn't take long for clarisse to sense your distress. the unspoken bond between you two had woven itself into a tapestry of mutual understanding, and she recognised the significance of the pilfered hairbrush. determined to right the wrong, clarisse took it upon herself to investigate the matter.
she confronted your siblings with an intensity that left them quaking in their sandals. her stern gaze bore into their guilt-ridden souls, extracting the truth like a seasoned interrogator. clarisse's usually thunderous voice carried a solemn edge as she demanded the return of the stolen hairbrush and an apology befitting the gravity of their actions.
unbeknownst to the misguided thieves, clarisse's reputation for ferocity on the battlefield extended to her protective instincts off it. the very fear she instilled in her enemies on the front lines was now directed at those who dared to threaten the tranquility of your connection.
under the weight of clarisse's unwavering determination, the guilty siblings caved. they returned the stolen hairbrush with bowed heads, offering apologies that bordered on genuine remorse. clarisse, satisfied with the swift resolution, ensured that justice prevailed, safeguarding the sanctity of the connection between you and the divine gift bestowed upon you by aphrodite.
as the stolen hairbrush was returned to its rightful place, the bond between you and clarisse strengthened. the trials you faced together only deepened the roots of your connection, intertwining your destinies in a tale of love, loyalty, and the unyielding power of shared vulnerability. in the heart of camp half-blood, where demigods navigated the tumultuous waters of existence, your story became a testament to the resilience of love against the currents of jealousy and deceit.
-
the sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a fiery glow over camp half-blood, as clarisse la rue realised she hadn't seen you all day. a sense of unease settled in her chest, an unfamiliar concern that compelled her to seek you out. with each passing moment, her worry deepened, driven by a gut feeling that something was amiss.
clarisse traversed the familiar paths of the camp, her eyes scanning the bustling activity for a glimpse of your familiar figure. the ares cabin loomed in the distance, and a knot tightened in her stomach as she approached, not spotting you among the demigods sparring and training.
finally reaching the ares cabin, clarisse's unease morphed into genuine concern. where were you? why hadn't she seen you all day? the questions echoed in her mind, and she briskly entered the cabin, determined to uncover the mystery behind your absence.
there, in the dimly lit interior, she found you sitting on the edge of her bunk, your figure shrouded by a hood and a hat pulled low over your tearful eyes. the sight sent a ripple of worry through clarisse, and she rushed to your side, her gruff demeanour momentarily replaced by a genuine sense of care.
"hey, what happened?" clarisse asked, her voice softer than usual as she placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. your tear-streaked face turned towards her, and the anguish in your eyes tugged at her heart.
"they took it away," you whispered, your voice choked with emotion. you repeated the words, a mantra of despair, and clarisse struggled to comprehend the source of your pain. "they took it away."
clarisse's brow furrowed, her eyes searching yours for an explanation. "took what away? what happened?"
with trembling hands, you reached up and pulled off the hood, revealing a mess of uneven strands that once cascaded in silky splendour. clarisse's eyes widened in realisation, her hand instinctively reaching to touch the shortened locks. the betrayal etched on your face told the story before you uttered a single word.
"they cut it," you sobbed, burying your face in clarisse's shoulder. "they cut it, clarisse. look at it, it's gone. all gone."
comprehension dawned on clarisse as she gently ran her fingers through the uneven strands. anger surged within her, a protective instinct for the one she cared about more than she ever thought possible. "who did this?" she growled, her gaze ablaze with fury.
you shook your head, unable to articulate the betrayal and cruelty that led to this moment. clarisse, however, needed no words. she wrapped her arms around you, pulling you into a comforting embrace as she vowed to make those responsible pay for the pain they inflicted.
in the sanctuary of the ares cabin, amid the echoes of your tearful revelation, clarisse became a pillar of strength, ready to stand by your side and face whatever challenges lay ahead. love, in its purest and most protective form, ignited within her, as the daughter of ares transformed into a fierce guardian of the broken and betrayed.
the night hung heavy with an air of tension as you cried yourself to sleep in clarisse's bed, the echoes of betrayal haunting your dreams. clarisse, ever the guardian, sat silently beside you, watching over your restless slumber. the flickering candlelight cast shadows on the determination etched into her face, fuelled by a fierce protectiveness that refused to be extinguished.
as your sobs eventually subsided into the quiet rhythm of sleep, clarisse rose from the bedside with a silent determination. in the dim light of the cabin, she retrieved her spear, its blade glinting with a subtle menace. the daughter of ares, had one missionâ avenge you.
the night enveloped camp half-blood in a cloak of darkness as clarisse stealthily made her way towards the aphrodite cabin. the aura of the daughter of ares carried an intensity that reverberated through the quiet paths, heralding a confrontation fuelled by the depth of her feelings for you.
standing outside the cabin, clarisse's eyes narrowed with determination as she observed the shadows within. the miscreants who had dared to harm you needed to be taught a lessonâone they would not soon forget. gripping her spear tightly, clarisse pushed open the door, her gaze unwavering as she confronted your godly siblings.
the scene within was one of startled surprise as clarisse stormed into the cabin. her voice, usually thunderous on the battlefield, now carried a chilling calmness. "you touch her again, and i promise you, the consequences will be far worse than you can imagine."
the air in the cabin grew heavy with tension as the children of aphrodite, once filled with false bravado, now faced the unyielding force of clarisse's wrath. she recounted the pain you had endured, the tears that stained your face, and the betrayal that cut deeper than any blade.
in her hand, the spear gleamed ominously, a silent warning that spoke volumes. the children of aphrodite, their faces pale with fear, found themselves cornered by the very embodiment of wrath standing before them. clarisse's words echoed in the cavernous space, leaving an indelible mark on their consciousness.
with a final warning that carried the weight of a promise, clarisse turned on her heel, leaving the aphrodite cabin in her wake. the night embraced her as she returned to the ares cabin, a sense of satisfaction lingering in the air. the protective fire that burned within her had been unleashed, a fierce determination to shield you from further harm.
the following day, the morning light filtered through the windows of the ares cabin, casting a gentle glow over the space. you awoke with a heaviness in your heart, the memory of the previous day's betrayal lingering like a shadow. as you sat up in bed, clarisse entered the cabin, her eyes immediately locking onto yours. the weight of the night's events still etched on her features, but a newfound determination shone in her gaze.
"hey," clarisse greeted you, her voice softer than usual. she took a seat beside you, her hand gently resting on your shoulder. "we need to talk."
the air felt charged with a mix of vulnerability and strength as clarisse began to speak. "i know yesterday was rough, and i can't change what happened, but i need you to understand something." she took a deep breath, her eyes searching yours. "your beauty isn't defined by your hair. it's not just one thing that makes you pretty. it's everything."
clarisse began listing every part of you, her voice deliberate and unwavering. "your eyesâ they hold a strength and depth that's beyond compare. your lipsâ they carry a warmth that can brighten the darkest days. your earsâ they've heard laughter, pain, and everything in between. every part of you contributes to the unique beauty that is you."
you listened, the weight of her words sinking in, but doubt still lingered in your eyes. clarisse, undeterred, continued, "and, above all, it's your personality. your kindness, your strength, your resilience â that's what makes you truly beautiful."
a flicker of disbelief danced across your face, and clarisse recognised the challenge ahead. she persisted, her gaze unwavering. "say it. say you're beautiful because of your eyes, lips, ears, and every part of you."
you hesitated, the echoes of the previous day's betrayal still reverberating in your mind. "i can't- i canât say that. not after what they did to me."
clarisse tightened her grip on your shoulder, her voice taking on a gentle insistence. "you need to believe it. it's not about them; it's about you. say it with me. you're beautiful because of your eyes, lips, ears, and every part of you."
it felt like a mantra, a repetition that tested the resilience of self-perception. clarisse didn't back down, patiently guiding you through each affirmation until the words became a declaration echoing within the walls of the ares cabin. "i'm beautiful because of my eyes, lips, ears, and every part of me."
as you repeated the words, something shifted within you. the doubt began to yield to the truth that clarisse so fervently believed. her unwavering support became a lifeline, anchoring you to a newfound understanding of your own beauty.
in that shared moment, surrounded by the strength of ares' cabin, you started to embrace the truth that beauty wasn't confined to a single aspect. it was a mosaic, a tapestry woven from the threads of every part that made you uniquely, undeniably yourself. clarisse, with her fierce love and unyielding determination, had become the mirror reflecting the truth you needed to see.

Enchanted Beginnings
Percy / Aphrodite!Reader
Percy falls for the new Aphrodite daughter, leading to a series of amusing mishaps as he's too distracted by her presence. With a little help from Grover, Percy finally connects with her â

The day you arrived at Camp Half-Blood, the sky was painted with strokes of pink and orange, heralding your entrance into a world where myths breathed and heroes walked. Percy Jackson, already a seasoned hero in the eyes of many, found himself at the archery range, his focus far from the quiver and bow. The camp was busy with the arrival of new demigods, but one in particular seemed to capture everyoneâs attention before the gods themselves claimed her as their own. You, with your grace and an aura that seemed to whisper of Aphrodite's lineage, had barely crossed the camp's threshold before a glowing symbol of the goddess appeared above your head, sealing your divine heritage.
From across the field, Percy caught sight of you, and in that moment, the world seemed to slow. Everything about you fascinated himâthe way you moved with effortless grace, your smile that seemed to light up the surroundings, and the kindness in your eyes that spoke of a gentle strength. He was so captivated that he hardly noticed Grover, his best friend, approaching.
"Who is that?" Percy's voice was a mix of wonder and curiosity, his gaze fixed on you as you laughed at something another camper said.
Grover followed his gaze, a knowing smile forming on his lips. "That's the new girl. Daughter of Aphrodite, and it seems like she's already making quite the impression!" he teased, elbowing Percy lightly.
In the days that followed, Percy found himself drawn to you, often going out of his way just to catch a glimpse of you during training or meals. However, his attempts at nonchalance led to a series of comical mishapsâwalking into door frames, tripping over nothing at all, and yes, even walking straight into a window, all because he couldn't tear his eyes away from you.
Grover, witnessing Percy's increasing clumsiness and the amused whispers of their fellow campers, decided it was time for intervention. He made up a plan to finally push Percy into taking action, rather than just daydreaming about you from afar.
One sunny afternoon, as you were returning from a strategy session with Annabeth, Grover saw his opportunity. With a quick, "Trust me" whispered to Percy, he gave him a not-so-gentle push, sending him stumbling directly into your path.
The collision was gentle, but unexpected, causing you to catch Percy in your arms in a moment of surprise. "Whoa! Are you okay?" you asked, concern lacing your voice as you helped him.
Percy, cheeks flushed with embarrassment, managed a sheepish smile. "Yeah, sorry, I just... lost my footing.." he stuttered, internally cursing his lack of grace.
"I'm Percy , " he introduced himself, though a part of him worried you might have already heard of his less-than-graceful moments around camp.
You laughed, a sound that to Percy felt like music. "I know who you are. Percy Jackson, the hero of Olympus. I'm [Name]." you said, extending your hand in greeting.
What followed was a conversation that flowed more naturally than Percy could have hoped for. He found himself opening up about his adventures, the burdens he carried, and the simple joys of camp life. In return, you shared your own journey to Camp Half-Blood, the fears, and excitement that came with discovering your heritage, and the hope of finding a place where you truly belonged.
Grover watched from a distance, a satisfied grin on his face as he saw the two of you laughing together, completely at ease. He had no doubt that this was the beginning of something special.
In the weeks that followed, Percy and you grew closer, spending hours talking by the lake, training together in the arena, and sharing quiet moments under the stars. Percy, who had once been so entranced by your beauty, found himself even more captivated by your spiritâyour kindness, your bravery, and your unwavering support.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold and crimson, Percy found the courage to express his feelings. Sitting together by the lake, he took your hand in his, his heart racing.
"[Name], from the moment I saw you, I was... well, I was in awe. But it's not just about how you look. It's everything about youâyour kindness, your strength, your courage. You've become someone very important to me" he admitted, "and I keep finding more reasons to be amazed by you every day." his voice tinged with sincerity and a hint of nervousness.
Your smile in response was all the assurance Percy needed. "Percy , you've been my rock since I arrived here. You've shown me what it means to be a true heroânot just through your deeds, but through your heart.." You respond with a soft smile and a gentle squeeze of his hand. "Iâm glad Grover pushed you into me that day," you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
Percy laughed, a sound filled with happiness and relief. "Me too. Me too."
As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, you both sat there, talking about everything and nothing. The world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you <3

Sisterly advice
âŞď¸Luke Castellan x fem!reader
âŞď¸daughter of Aphrodite
âĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄ
You and Luke have always been close. So close, in fact, that newcomers automatically assumed that you were dating. The surprised look on their faces when the older campers told them you weren´t, was according to your siblings hilarious.
It's evening and you're sitting on your bed, your legs crossed, while Silena is braiding your hair.
Of all your half-siblings she is your favourite one. Loving, gentle and kind. She is the perfect definition of a daughter of Aphrodite, as she embodies everything that comes to your mind when you think about love - and you want others to feel the same way. They should also think of her and not your other siblings with their childish plays and cruel rituals of breaking others hearts. Maybe they themselves don´t understand what it means being the child of love.
Silena´s fingers run gently through your hair, parting it and intertwining the individual strands together.
âSo⌠what about Charlie?â
You don't have to see her face to know that a smile flashes across her lips at his name. âWhat about him?â
âDid he finally ask you out?â
She laughs, trying to pretend that she finds the idea absurd. âWe are just friends.â
You turn around and give her a look that expresses your opinion about it all too clearly. Don´t try to fool me, darling. I see what´s going on between the two of you!
Again, Silena laughs, gently turning your head forward again to finish the braid. âOkay, other topic. What about you and Luke?â
You copy her laugh. âWhat about us? We´re just friends.â
You could feel her rising her eyebrows. âLet me give you some sisterly advice: Just friends don´t look at each other like that.â
âWho did you quote? That sentence is so clichĂŠ!â
She laughs, taking a hair tie from your bedside table and wrapping it around your braid. âWell⌠maybe it is but it totally fits you and Luke.â
You turn around, giving her a skeptical look.
Silena shrugs and sits down beside you. âI mean⌠have you seen his smile when he looks at you? Also he constantly finds excuses to touch you. He improves your posture in archery, even though you are at least as good at it as he is. And â â she looks at you triumphantly, âHe gives you a kiss on the cheek every time he greets you or says goodbye.â
You feel your cheeks flush and cross your arms, trying to think of a counter argument. âAÂ lot of people do that.â
âYeah, but you´re the only one where Luke does that. Haven´t you noticed?â
To be honest: no, you haven´t. But now as you think about it in detail... it is true. When Luke greets one of the other girls, he just smiles at them.
âIn addition, he immediately drops everything when he sees youâ, Silena adds, âYesterday he left in the middle of training because he saw you walking by and wanted to talk to you. Or on Friday, he was in the middle of a conversation with Chris and you waved at him. And what did he do? Exactly, he immediately jogged over. Also last weekâŚâ
âEnough!â You laugh, trying to make her shut up by covering her mouth.
Silena dodges you, laughing as you reach into the void. "He let you draw hearts on his sneakers! He watches the sunset with you! He bought you a bracelet for your birthday! You know, I could go on with this for hours." She steps closer, cupping your cheeks with her hands. âBelieve me, sis: He´s in love with you!â Her voice is melodic, angel like even. Loving, gentle and kind.
You feel the heat rising to your cheeks and embarrassed you pulls away and cover your face with your hands. âI´m pretty sure he isn´t! You´re overinterpreting!â
âNope, I´m a daughter of Aphrodite, I can feel it!â
âSo am I! And I don't feel anything!â
Silena grabs her cherry lipstick. âYour reaction makes me think that you like him too!â
Did you like him? You weren´t sure. Of course he meant the world to you, but did you like him more as than a friend? Wouldn´t that be weird kissing him since you know him for so long?
"I'm not sure", you finally manage to say, rolling off your bed and taking a look at the clock. Fortunately, you can at least put the topic off for today. "Oh, damn! Come on, we are already late!â
Silena grabs your hand and leads you outside of cabin 10. It´s already dark and in the distance you can see the flickering flames of the campfire. Most of the campers seem to have already gathered there, their drink in their hands and a smile on their lips as they talk to their siblings and friends.
âFinally!â, one of the Apollo girls greets you.
Chris Rodriguez grins. âWhy are the Aphrodite girls always late?â
That is definitely not true! You're not always late. Just most of the times. God, you hate being a clichÊ.
Luke lifts his head as he hears his brother say âAphrodite girlsâ. He spots you and his face lights up like a Christmas tree. Immediately he walks up to you and hugs you, his lips placing a soft kiss on your cheek.
From the corner of your eye you can see Silena rising an eyebrow, as if to say "Well, what did I say?"
âYou look amazingâ, Luke whispers in your ear, before breaking away from the hug and greeting Silena with a smile. âCharlie is already waiting for you!â, he grins, nodding towards said boy.
Silena giggles, before walking over to him. Gods, it was so obvious that she was head over heels for him.
Luke takes your hand and leads you over to his place next to Chris, where he had already a blanket spread out for the two of you. âMyladyâ He pretends to bow.
You can feel your cheeks blush as you sit down. âThank you so much, Mister!â
Gods, somehow Luke always manages to put a smile on your face. You sit down and stretch out your legs, feeling the comforting heat of the fire.
As Luke takes a seat next to you, you can feel him slide closer, his arm touching yours. Feeling him beside you was comforting, the closest feeling you had to "home".
Luke Castellan. You tilt your head back and look up at the stars as if you expect to see his name engraved up there. You have always liked his name. Luke Castellan. It feels like a secret incantation on your lips.
You can feel his eyes on you. The flickering flames make his face look almost golden. Golden boy. Why didn´t you notice before how handsome he is?
The next song starts and immediately everyone joins in. They lie in each other's arms and rock back and forth, bawling Country roads.
Well, maybe it was just because Silena had told you, but Luke really seems to find exuses for touching you. He leans against you, his arm around your shoulders - even after the song has already ended. You enjoy feeling him so close next to you. The heat he radiates. His soft skin against yours. The realization hits you straight in the face. You had fallen in love with your best friend.
He looks at you and you can't help but smile. Fascinating how beautiful an evening with a campfire could be. For a moment it feels like gods and monsters didn't exist. For a moment everything seems peaceful.
âCan I talk to you for a second?â You can feel Luke´s warm breath on your neck as he whispers in your ear.
Your heart skips a beat. Did he notice the way you looked at him? Did he suspect something? Was Silena wrong? âSure!â
Your voice sounds more enthusiastic than you feel.
Luke takes your hand and leads you away from the campfire, away from the singing and the laughter of the others.
You look at him, smiling nervously. âSoooâŚÂ what is it? Or did you just want to escape singing Knocking on heavens door.â
He shakes his head, laughing. âNo, why would I want to miss Drew´s wonderful voice?â
You cringe at the thought of your sister singing louder than everyone else â and on top of that terribly wrong. She doesn't hit a single note.
âNo, actually⌠Y/NâŚâ He runs a hand through his hair, trying to find the right words. âGods, you´re so beautiful.â
It´s not the first time that somebody told you that. In fact, being a daughter of Aphrodite, you had heard it thousands of times already.
Still his words felt special to you. Special because he wasn´t just anybody. Ă
He was Luke. Your best friend Luke. Luke who was always there for you, who comforted you when you had trouble with your family, who managed to make you laugh when you lay in your bed crying your eyes out over something your stepmother had said. Luke who you trusted with all your heart.
âI wanted to ask you if you'd like to go on a picnic tomorrow?â He avoids looking at you.
Why is he so shy about going on a picnic? That's quite strange since you´d done this a few times before. You had even found your very own spot with a fantastic view over the sea. There was nothing more beautiful than watching sunsets while drinking juice and eating biscuits. So why does he seem so insecure?
Luke seems to notice your confusion. âI meant as a dateâ, he clarifies.
You raise your eyebrow, your heart racing. âAre you asking me out?â
âYeah.â
For a moment you stood there, perplexed. Why was it so obvious to the others while you had no idea?
"So... what do you say?" Luke looks at you, biting his lip nervously. He seems to assume that you aren't answering because you're looking for a way to reject him as gently as possible.
Quickly you step forward, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. "Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you."
"Really?" Immediately he blushes deeply. That must have slipped out.
"Sure, why wouldn't I?" You giggle, taking his hand. "I've known you for years now. You're kind and brave and one of the most caring people I know."
A laugh escapes his lips. "Wow, if I had known that, I would have asked you way earlier." His hand slowly reaches for your cheek.
You hold your breath as he leans forward and places a soft kiss on your lips. It didn't feel weird at all. The opposite, actually. Seems like sometimes best friends can turn into lovers.
You wrap your arms around him, pulling him closer. Soft kisses become more passionate. His hands run through your hair, slowly brushing loose strands out of your face.
When he pulls away a huge smile creeps across his lips. "I love you, Y/N"
You return his smile, taking his hand and intertwining your fingers. "I love you, too."
As you walk back to the campfire holding hands, Silena beams at you. "I told you, Y/N, friends don't look at each other like that."
You shake your head, laughing. "Your advice really is the best."

âŽâË y/nâs pov
âsome kid killed a minotaur!â a hermes cabin demigod yelled from near the dining pavilion. glancing up from our glasses of soda, annabeth and I turned towards the voice. âheâs a new one!â
we looked at each other, wondering which god couldnât keep it in their pants again.
suddenly, a few apollo kids ran out from the infirmary towards the arch near thaliaâs tree.
âthe new kidâs probably clumsy,â annabeth said.
âhe killed a minotaur,â I shot back.
âhey, you can be dumb and strong at the same time.â
âuh huh. whose child do you think he is? I bet itâs one of the big three.â I said.
âno way, they have a pact, remember-â
âdo you really think they actually follow that, annie?â I snickered at her.
in a while, an unconscious boy about their age was carried into the infirmary. I only caught sight of his black hair, and dishevelled and bloody look. I decided to visit him the next day to check up on his condition.
the rest of the day was spent reading in my cabin, while my sisters tried new makeup products on our brother, which was quite funny, really.
throughout the next week, I left the warmth of my bed to visit the new kidâpercy jacksonâin the infirmary. he had begun to regain consciousness.
âwho are you?â he asked, sharply inhaling a breath.
âoh, hey,â I smiled at him. âiâm y/n y/l/n. daughter of aphrodite.â
âright. daughter of aphrodite. a goddess,â he repeated slowly.
I realised that no one had explained about camp half-blood to him yet, and took that job upon myself after calling out for will and letting him know that his patient was awake.
âso, thereâs gods and goddesses. and monsters. and everything in the greek myths you were taught? theyâre all real. at camp half-blood, weâre all demigodsâthe children of a god or goddess and a mortal.â I continued to explain to him how the demigod world worked, remembering to talk about the mist, the gods, the cabins, and everything else.
I expected him to not believe me, and call me names (like the other new campers) for lying, but he took it like a champ. he nodded at me, sitting up properly, and asked for something so his arm would stop paining. I immediately got will to help him.
the next week, when I was out by the beach, reading my romance novel about a mortal girl and a faerie prince falling in love after being enemies, I heard sand shifting around behind me.
âwho-â I turned around.
âhey, y/n, right?â percy asked, walking closer.
âah, you remember,â I said, a smile growing on my face.
âwell, yeah. youâre really just the only person who has spoken to me normally⌠and not like I was some intimidating and scary⌠thing,â he said, running his hands through his already dishevelled hair.
âcome, sit down.â I patted the sand beside me. he took his place there, sitting down with his legs criss-crossed.
âwhat are you reading?â he asked.
I explained to him the plot, setting, characters, and everything about the book I was reading for the next few hours.
we sat there till dusk, watching the sun set into pretty hues of pink, purple, and orange.
âitâs so pretty, isnât it?â I asked.
âŽâË percyâs pov
âyeah, it is.â I replied to her, eyes fixed on her side profile.
wow. sheâs so beautiful.

âperce!â y/n called loudly, running towards me.
âheyyyy! n/n, youâre back! how was the quest? did you get hurt or anything?â I asked, hugging her, and then moving back to scan her for injuries.
âiâm fine, perce, all good. I got will to check me out and he cleared me,â she said, grinning. her face was swiped with dirt and grime, but she still looked like she was an ethereal princess who walked out of one of her books. âwhat? have I got a lot of dirt on my face?â
ânah, youâre cool. âs pretty.â I said, and she laughedâmy favourite sound in the entire world. âand anyway, you need to change out of these clothes and meet me outside your cabin. I have something for you.â
âwhat is it?â
âthatâs a surprise-â
âI hate surprises.â
âyouâll like this one,â I winked at her, as she laughed again.

âŽâË y/nâs pov
I changed into casual loose sweatpants and a shirt since it was summer.
ah, summer. one of most romantic seasons ever. the breeze whipping around a girlâs hair, as a boy runs towards her with flowers. the sunlight falling onto their faces as they share a kiss. watching the sun set in pretty shades everyday with each other. that was summer.
everything about it reminded me of percy. watching sunsets, seeing the sunlight fall on his face after he gets out of the water. the flowers, now dry, that he gifted me for every special occasion.
it was hard to admit that I liked him more than I would like any friend. iâd never picked up any hints from him, that mightâve signalled that he liked me, no matter how many of my siblings told me he did.
all friends hold hands, right? and all good friends wish each other a good morning and good night everyday. what was so special? the flowers?
âhey, n/n!â percyâs voice dragged me out of my thoughts. he was dressed in loose shorts and a hawaii button up, and my gods, he looked so gorgeous.
âperce! at least tell me where weâre going now,â I groaned.
ânuh-uh. a surprise is a surprise.â he brought out a blindfold and handed it to me. I raised my eyebrow at him. âput it on. iâll take you there.â
âI swear to gods, if this turns out to be a prank-â
âshh, it wonât. now put it on,â he promised.
I walked closer to him and put on the blindfold, and he turned me around a few times to make sure I wouldnât figure out where weâre going. I scoffed at his childish actions.
as he was standing behind me, I felt his warmth on my back. he took my arms at my side and urged me to walk ahead.
he manoeuvred me in different directions and finally stopped after a while.
âyou ready, princess?â he asked. the nickname did something to cause butterflies in my stomach.
âyeah,â I whispered.
he took off the blindfold, and it was too bright for a second. I shielded my eyes and groaned, before letting them adjust to the harsh sunlight.
I looked around and saw a huge, fluffy blanket laid down on the grass of the fields. a basket with food was set in one corner and a bouquet in the centre.
specifically, a book bouquet.
âPERCY, HOW DID YO-â
âsurprise,â he grinned, as I turned around and hugged him. heâd always given me gifts when I returned from quests, but this was, by far, the best.
âhowâd you know all my favourites?â I asked, looking at the 10 romance novels on the blanket.
âoh, annie helped,â he said enthusiastically. âshould we sit down and start eating? you can tell me all about the people in your books, and why you like romance books especially, yeah?â
smiling, we sat down on the blankets, and ate away with no care in the world.
âŽâË percyâs pov
as she talked about her books for the next few hours, I could only think about how beautiful her brown eyes were, especially when the sunlight hit them at the correct angle. how soft her lips looked as her mouth moved at a faster pace than her thoughts. how perfect her cheeks were, smiling wide. how amazing she was. how smart and beautiful she was.
when did my feelings of friendship turn into love, for her?
as she continued to speak of the love between her favourite characters, I noticed her longing for a similar love. I could give that to her, couldnât I?
wait. what? what am I even thinking? y/nâs my best friend.
âlove is everywhere, in every gesture, every glance. itâs the thread that binds us together, connecting hearts across time and space,â she said.
and at that moment, I knew I was done for.
I was hopelessly in love with my best friend.

Stereotypical (Demi-God AU)
Aemond, Son of Ares x Reader, Daughter of Aphrodite Tag List
Synopsis: The daughter of Aphrodite falls for one of the sons of Aresâ the second coming of their parents.Â
Warnings: Â Mature, 18+, Dry Humping, Semi-Public Relations, Not Proofread
Word Count: 2, 720
Itâs stereotypical, you were awareâa whole cliche. But what were you to do when you realized that you were growing attracted to one of the sons of your motherâs past paramours? It did not help that he was the strongest fighter in campâ the most mysterious and illusive Demi-God there. You watch him by the benches whilst you sit and chat with one of the daughters of the Goddess Demeter, Helaena. âYouâre staring at him again,â She teased as her fingers twirled the stem of a dandelion whose buds she blew away. You rolled your eyes and shifted your gaze, denying the accusation. âJust speak to him; Iâm sure he wonât be as standoffish as he seems.â Helaena hummed, but you shook your head.Â
âWhat are you two talking about?â Aegon, the son of Dionysus, appeared, seemingly intoxicated, even though wine was banned from camp. âNoâ let me guess,â he quickly said. âIâm guessing⌠the brooding swordsman? Hm?â He asked you, and you felt color bloom on your cheeks. Were you that obvious? You groaned and tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear in frustration. âI do not understand! They⌠usually fall at my feet, trying to get my attention! But not him,â You complained, making Aegon and Helaena smile in amusement at the expense of your irritation. âWhatever, Iâm going for a walk,â You grumbled and stood, trying hard not to let your gaze fly over to Aemond, who trained with a sword.Â
You find yourself in the woods, threading closer to the lake where you often stare at your reflection in the water. You took in a deep breath and stared at your face blessed by your motherâ the prettiest girl in camp, they say. You attracted all sorts of attention, good and bad, but the only attention you wanted was never bestowed upon you. He denied you of his lone gaze. âWhatâs a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?â You hear a voice ask. You sighed and cast your gaze upward, landing on Jacaerys, son of Hephaestus. âHello, Jacaerys,â You say politely.Â
âDo you mind if I join you?â He asked, dark eyes hopeful. âI⌠Iâd actually prefer to be alone right now,â You reasoned. Watching his face drop. You sigh; if only Aemond were this excited to be in your presence. âOh,â Jacaerys said, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. âIâll see you at dinner, Jace,â You give him a fleeting smile, and you thank the gods that he actually took the hint and left. You returned to stare at yourself, trying to define which aspect you could improve upon, highlighting them in hopes that it would catch the attention of one of the sons of the God of War.Â
âWhat are you doing?â A different voice asked, a reflection joining yours on the surface of the water. You yelped and backed away in surprise. âGods, Aemond,â You said as he finally cast his eye upon you. âWhat were you doing?â He asked once again, leading out his hand to assist you to stand. âStaring at myself,â You mumbled, feeling heat rise to your cheeks as he caught you. You hear him scoff, âOf course,â He said and let go of your hand that tingled from touching his. âBest you be reminded by the fate of Narcissus,â Aemond stated. You bit back your tongue; this is what you wanted. He was speaking to youâ his attention on you, but now it came; why were you frozen as if you had gazed at Medusa?Â
âDo you not have to train?â You asked Aemond as you perched yourself upon a log near the river banks. You watch him take a pebble into his fingers, skipping it on the water. âIâve just finished,â he said and moved to take a seat next to you. You took your lower lip between your teeth as you felt your shoulders brush, the heat of him reaching you. âWhat do you think weâre doing here?â You suddenly ask as both of you stare off into the orange sun that reflects on the lake. âWhat do you mean? Weâre here to train. Weâre here for protection from the outside world.â Aemond stated the obvious, but you shook your head. âTrain for what?â You asked, âA war.âÂ
âIs there one?â Your eyes locked upon his. âI⌠I just do not understand why I was brought here,â You confessed as you saw the confusion in his lilac orb. âThey say the world of mortals was filled with dangerâ but mine wasnât. I was living comfortablyâ I do not understand why my mother had summoned me if I am not to do anything here,âÂ
âThe gods have a purpose in every action they makeâ even if we do not understand it,â You hummed at his statement. âDo you truly believe that?â Aemond looked at you with a question once more. âI just⌠feel like weâre pawns being played hereâ born to do their bidding. We make the sacrifices; they get the glory. I just think that the minuscule scrap of recognition they throw is not at all worth it.â You saw a smirk rising to his lips despite the seriousness you posed. âWhat?â Aemond shakes his head; you feel him inch his way closer to you. âMy sister seems to think that youâre filled with air in that pretty little head of yours,â You blinked at his statement; should you be offended or flattered?
âAnd do you agree?â You ask, fearing for his statement. Aemond hummed, gazing at your face. It was the first time in your life that you felt insecure under someoneâs gazeâ the first time you felt fear that someone might not think you agreeable and comely. âI agree with her when she said that you were pretty⌠very pretty,â You bit your cheeks as his eyes flew to your blushed cheeks and then ever so quickly to your lips. âBut, no, she was completely mistaken to underestimate you,â You feel your lips twitch, catching Aemondâs attention. You inch towards him, your desires swirling with your assumptions. Aemond stayed rooted where he sat; he did not lean in, nor did he pull away. When your nose brushed, you hear him take in a harsh breath. âWe should head back,â he said and pulled away, leaving you confused and overly embarrassed and rejected.Â
You were so closeâ you took the courage to move first. It was all Aemond wantedâ all that he had dreamed of. All his offerings to the gods were for this moment, which was why he was greatly disappointed and infuriated with himself when he backed away and left like a coward. It was too muchâ it was so much more than he could handle. Ever since youâve arrived at camp, all he did was try and keep your attention on him. He trained day and night, purposefully choosing grounds where you would pass by. He would relish with each moment that he would feel your gaze upon him. Watching intently as he would fight and show off his skill, hoping that it would impress you. Knowing that it was how his father had caught the attention of your mother.Â
Aemondâs eye would fly to you during dinner, you sitting with your brothers and sisters. There was no smile on your lips, unlike the previous nights; you sat limply and played with your food, your cheek resting on your palm as a pout formed itself on your luscious lips. What had he done? How could he subject the most beautiful girl his eye has ever seen to such a sullen state? Aemond dug his nails into his palms. You were the daughter of beauty and love, and he was the son of war and strife. He did not deserve anything so precious and delicate as you. He could only offer you ruin and struggle. The thought of bringing you conflict only fortified his decision to back away. To instead protect you from afarâ to relinquish his desires to be with you, to hold you, kidding himself that gazing at you was enough. That simply looking at you had to be enough.Â
Days passed as both you and Aemond avoided each other. You, embarrassed by your wanting actions and him, controlling himself from giving in to his desires. You no longer watched as he would impressively train with the sword, and he would no longer silently trail you wherever you went. Aemond only picked specific moments to follow you and made certain that no danger would find youâ even though the two of you were in the safety of camp where no danger could reach, Aemond was just simply cautious.Â
You traded the lake for the beach. Walking alone on the sanded path, the moonlight shining bright atop the water. Your mind consistently loops your foolish actions, making you cringe at yourself. You called for your mother the other night, trying to find guidance or perhaps comfort, as rejection did not sit well with you. The thought of someone not falling for your charms when everyone so easily did, scared you. She ignored your offerings and pleas, leaving you to face your confusion and fears by yourself, only solidifying your beliefs that you and all the children in this camp were simply pawns by the gods. Expected to answer their call when it first rings whilst they constantly ignore yours.
You sighed heavily, staring off into the sea where your mother was born. Stepping foot into the water, you tried to connect with the woman who disrupted your peaceful, mortal life only to bring you here and ignore you. You took deep breaths, walking deeper into the water, not caring that you were still clothed as you submerged yourself in the sea. Aemond watched by the shore, battling with himself if he should follow. When you disappeared under the water, with each passing second, you did not emerge; it only put forth fear in the bravest demi-god in camp.Â
Aemond shook his head and ran to the sea, diving to where you disappeared only to catch you resurface, shocked as you realized his presence had joined you. âAemond,â You breathed out, wiping away the salt water from your eyes, the boy holding your arm, the waves pushing him closer to you. âWhat⌠what were you doing?â He asked, concern lacing his deep, silky voice. âI wanted to swim,â You reasoned, hoping that the water would clean you from embarrassment and shame. You feel his eye grow downward, looking at the clothes you fashioned. âIn your night dress?â He asked, the silk fabric thin, the cool water clinging to your body. âIt was a spontaneous decision,â You mumbled, your gaze shifting away from him as your cheeks heated. The both of you floating in the sea.Â
âWhy are you here?â you asked, realizing that he had gone in the water, fully clothed as well. You met his eye, the sapphire orb shifting around. His thin, pink lips parted as he tried to find a reason. âI⌠Iââ You bit your lip, as you had never seen him so flustered. The most fearsome son of Ares is at a loss for words when faced with the prettiest daughter of Aphrodite.Â
Aemond stayed silent, only the crashing of waves reaching your ears. It took a while for the both of you to realize that you floated in each otherâs armsâ the past events of the other day returning to your mind, both making you conscious. âIâm sorry about the other day,â You whispered as you saw it best to address your actions in order for the both of you to forget it and your mind to free you from the torment of your idiotic presumption. âIt was wrong for me to assume⌠I have misread your intentions and made you uncomfortable; I apologize.â You say sincerely.Â
You hear Aemond sigh, the waves pushing your bodies closer together, his breath fanning your face, your scent invading his senses. âYou did not misread anything,â He admitted. Making your brows furrow. âI⌠I wanted you to kiss me, wished for it for a while now.â He confessed with a small smile, trying to lighten the tense air with his rare but charming smile. âOh,â was all you could say as you tried to comprehend his words. âThen why⌠â you trailed as you had trouble wording out what had transpired in the lake. Aemond sighed, and you stilled as you felt his arms wrap around your waist, flushing your bodies together as the both of you floated. The moonlight lighted your face, illuminating his silver hair as well as your milky skin. âI got scared,â He admitted, daring to cup your cheek. Your skin was soft against his calloused palm.Â
âYou? Got scared? The favored son of the god of war got scared by the prospect of a kiss?â You asked in confusion, resting your hands on his shoulders. You hear him let out a small chuckle. âI was only frightened because it was you who I would be kissing,â He stated, caressing your cheek. âThe most beautiful girl I was ever blessed to see⌠now, I hope youâd understand why I panicked,â Aemond smiled as the blush on your cheeks deepened. You set your gaze downward, staring at the water that sparkled under the silver light. Your heart stilled when you felt Aemond place a finger under your chin to raise your gaze once more, finally having the courage to place his lips against yours.Â
Aemond wanted to be slow and cautious, to not frighten or pressure you to succumb to all his desires. But as a sigh left your throat when your lips finally met, all restraint he had disappeared. Pulling you impossibly closer to him, making you wrap your legs around him, letting your arms cling to him. Deepening your kiss, his tongue asked for entrance, which you were hesitant to give but relished the feeling when you did. Aemondâs chest rumbled with a sound as you accidentally nipped his lip, enjoying your mistake that only fueled his desires further.Â
You pulled away from him, suddenly feeling cautious as the both of you were being so intimate in such an open space where anyone could see. You tried to speak reason, to speak caution that the both of you may be caught, but as Aemond placed his lips on your neck, kissing it and leaving his marks, you no longer had the capacity to speak. Pleasure freezing your mind at the new sensation. Aemond hummed as he heard your heavy breathing, your sweet taste mixing with the salted water as he indulged in the feel of your skin. Aemond closed his eye tightly as you, who had your legs wrapped around his torso started to move your hips. Squirming as you felt urgency for something you were yet to know consuming you.Â
Aemondâs hand moved downwards from your waist to your bottom, cupping them and aiding your movements that sought for friction. You let go of a shaky breath against his lips, your eyes looking deeply at his sapphire eye that turned dark and glazed with deeper desires and restraint. âAemond,â You whimpered, filled with anticipation of what was to come. You ground your hips further, making him utter a foul word and turn his head to the heavens. Aemond moved one hand to cup your cheek, bringing you closer to kiss your lips once more. âI⌠Iâ Aemond,â was all you could utter as you were uncertain what the sensation was building inside you. It was sharp and urgent and pleasurableâ an odd mix. âAre you to come, my pretty girl? Hm?â Aemond gritted as his hips met yours. He bent his head down and placed a kiss atop your chest; his head felt light at the whimpers of his name that your mouth spewed.Â
âAemond!â You shrieked as all finally fell, your body feeling alight as you came at the sensation of riding against the boy you had desired for long. Aemond gritted out your name as he, too, came, spilling himself in his trousers. You hummed as he kissed you again, tasting him and the sea that was witness to your desires and pleasures being fed.Â

Hi! Could I request a Percy Jackson x Daughter of aphrodite reader angst? (this request is inspired by another fic hehe) Where the percy jackson asks the reader to help woo Annabeth (you can decide how if you decide to do this) since she's A daughter and aphrodite and immediately Assumes that she's a master in the love department but the thing is the reader has a huggers crush on percy but she decides to help him out because everyone in camp knows that percy and annabeth are made for each other (just thinking about helping your crush get on with their crush makes my heart acheeeđŤ Againn if you decide to pick this up you can decide on the ending!!) That's all I wantttt~~ take care of yourself!!!
â falling feels like flying (til the bone crush) â
percy jackson x daughter of aphrodite đ
a/n i <3 writing percy fics just so i can use a pic of logan lerman (heâs so pretty)
â ď¸ extreme and painful longing
Ë âď˝ĄË đâď˝ĄË â
He was so pretty. And thatâs coming from a daughter of Aphrodite. Y/N was always admiring him from afar. His black hair that would occasionally be swept away from his face as the wind blew, causing the perfect view of his perfect features. It was confusing how a guy could look that beautiful.
She knew she wasn't the only one who felt that way, of course. Lots of girls had crushes on him. Most prominently, the prettiest daughter of Athena. Who, as if on queue, approached Percy as he was training. She had her curls in a ponytail, no makeup, just sweat that somehow made her glow. She didn't try. And he looked at her like she was all that he worshiped.
âI cant believe youre jealous of her,â one of y/nâs sisters commented.
She scoffed, âIâm not jealous of her,â she faced the other girl, âsheâs just a bookworm, who happens to look like if Kate Hudson and Taylor Swift had a baby who was Victoriaâs Secret Angel.â
âMermaid man, twelve oâclock.â
âWhat?â She turned around to see the son of Poseidon approaching her. She awkwardly flipped her hair to be in front of her shoulders, then a little behind her shoulders, then-
âY/N! I wanted to talk to you,â he greeted, sitting next to her.
Her sister smirked before walking off with a wink. Her heartbeat quickened, her mind going stupid, âPercsty!â She smiled.
âI have to confess something to you, no one knows, so please don't tell anyone, okay?â
She quickly nodded, âanything, yeah of course. What is it?â
He bit his lips. Oh gods. âI was wondering if you could help me impress Annabeth.â
Heart? Shattered. Brain? Broken. Lungs? Zero air, absolutely nothing.
âYou like her?â
He blushed, looking down and fidgeting with his hands, âI do.â
âI can help,â dumbass, âone of the perks of being Aphroditeâs daughter.â
With that, she found herself in cabin three, under terrible, terrible circumstances.
âWhatâs her favorite flower?â
He thought for a second, âirises.â
Y/N wrote that down in her notebook, which she would promptly be burning at the campfire tonight. The stress was taking her over, she was ready to tear off the pink fluff ball that sat atop the pen.
âFood?â
âExtra olive pizza.â
âGag me with a spoon,â she blurted as she wrote. âWhat?â
âWhat?â
He leaned back on his bed, âyou think sheâll like this? Iâm not even sure if she likes me back.â
âTrust me,â she sighed, âshe does.â
âI dont know.â
âPercy, she does,â she snapped, âespecially I planned this whole thing.â
âThanks for that, by the way,â he grinned, âI really wanna make sure she likes everything.â
âShe will,â she reassured. âYou know, I never really pegged you as a romantic.â
âMe neither,â he sighed, âbut when it comes to her, gods.â
Y/N frowned, âyou really love her?â
He stuttered, âI mean, love, thatâs a big word. I- uhm- love her- I donât,â he took a breath, âI do.â
The only way I can explain what y/n thought in that moment was something along the lines of, âalfkhgnlkhsjk.â
She looked next to him from where she was sitting. Thatâs when she noticed the framed picture on his bedside table. Him and Annabeth, two years ago it looked to be. His arm around her shoulder, both of them seemed to have been laughing when the candid was taken. That's when it hit her. The bright smiles on their faces were the ones she only ever saw when they were together. Like they both had smiles reserved for the other.
She looked back at the green eyes that were looking at her, âI can tell.â
She stood in the middle of the woods, a few feet away from the camp entrance. She saw the figure approaching her. She reached for her pocket, getting ready.
âCheese pizza with extra olives?â
She nodded, âyeah.â
â$11.90,â the delivery boy added.
She handed him the money, plus tip, considering he had to come into the middle of the woods for this.
She walked back into camp. Wondering why she was doing this. If she had been one of her siblings, she probably would've tried to sabotage the whole thing. Make sure that Percy and Annabeth never happen. But the way he talked about her? Like she was the center of the universe? She knew she could never compete with the daughter of Athena. His wisegirl.
âYou got the pizza?â
She handed it to Percy as he set up the pink irises in a vase, âhere,â she muttered, âthereâs no change.â
âOne pizza costs twenty dollars?â He questioned.
She shrugged, âinflation.â It was kinda depressing. The best revenge she could get was giving an eight dollars and 10 cents tip. She awkwardly played with the skirt of her dress, âIâll go get Annabeth.â
She hurried to cabin six. She knocked on the door, lucky enough, the blonde opening it, âhey?â
âAnnabeth!â she forced a smile, âPercy was looking for you, he wanted you to meet him by the strawberry fields.â
âOh?â
âSeaweed Brain!â y/n heard the laugh from archery training. She turned around, catching a glimpse of the new couple. Her hand was in his as they walked. Her nose buried in his shoulder as she giggled. For a second, just a second, he looked back at the daughter of Aphrodite. He flashed her smile, wording, âI owe you.â
Yes, you do.

what if reader was a daughter of Aphrodite?
assuming thi is about pjo/hoo! also going out on a limb and assuming it's abou Leo. (I need to bffr of course it's Leo he's 90% of what I write-) If I am wrong in any of these assumptions feel free to shoot me another ask with whatever deets you'd like!!
When Leo finds out you're a daughter of Aphrodite, he's not even surprised. if it were a bet he would have made a lot of money on Aphrodite being your mom. like a lot. you know that bit from adventure time where Jake is all "whatever you want mamaaaaa". That's Leo. That's 1000% Leo. Everything about you is hypnotic. He starts to realize that he like... can't find other girls attractive anymore. you so fundimentally take the cake that no one else can even think about holding a candle to you. You make him dizzy, scrable his brain and cruh any semblance of non simping logical thought like a grape between your pretty, manicured nails. You're shocked to find out that he doesn't think you're attractive cause of your looks. Well, not JUST cause of your looks. Leo fell in love with the way you talk, passionately arguing for points you believe in. He fell in love with the way you smell when you've been laying out in the sunshine, the little giggle you do when you're trying to hold back a laugh in the middle of telling a story. He fell for the weird faces you make when you do your makeup, especially your mascara. he fell in love with how your hands felt on his when you taught him how to do the back of your hair. he fell for how you always know when he needs a redbull, the weird positions you sleep in, the zoned out little stare you make when you're trying to pretend you're not tired, even though you're exhausted. Leo loves all of you. If you ask him, each and every trait and aspect, inside and out, must have been hand crafted by Aphrodite herself. There's no way someone as perfect as you could exist otherwise.

contains: a daughter of aphrodite panicking over our favorite white boy. and vise versa (jason grace x daughter of aphrodite!reader)
warnings: shitty ass writing, language, use of yn, and CRINGE. it's pretty bad, read at your own risk â ď¸
author's note: first fic! also, its probably gonna be bad (because i'm a shit writer đ) im SO sorry about all the cuts! i cannot write. [send in requests y'all!] ALSO if you see any incorrections, no you didn't.
special mentions: thank you so much @canonfeminine for helping me come up with the joke percy says and @hopelesslyromanticshark because i kinda stole her formatting and her amazing advice (love ya coves!)
final word count: 2,098 words
now playing đ§ down bad by taylor swift
jason grace was walking outside cabin 13 when he heard you tweaking.
it was only 11am and it sounded like you had been up all night.
"y'all, you know that one song from taylor's new album? down bad? that's so me about superman." you sighed, "i don't even think he cares about me. not even a little."
"now i'm down bad, crying at the gym. everything comes out teenage petulance. fuck it if i can't have him. i might just die, it'd make no difference." you sang under your breath.
jason peeked in the cabin. he saw you hanging off hazel's bed upside down, piper was on the floor painting her nails, while annabeth was sitting in an armchair, reading, and hazel was at her desk, writing a letter to chiron about why they should have state of the art, gold-plated horse feed. they were only in the hades cabin because nico was with will in the infirmary. (awww <3)
"ma'am, we know all of this before. you never shut about hi-" piper began.
"SHUT THE ACTUAL FUCK UP BEFORE I SHOVE A FOOT DOWN YOUR THROAT."
annabeth made a condescending mom face. "yn," she said gently. "maybe you should go to sleep."
you just glared at her until she looked back at her book (rolling her eyes).
"maybe he does like me! he just doesn't know it yet." you triumphantly said.
piper snorted. you got up, and whacked her with your pillow until she fell over.
"ok, geez, i get it. cough cough bitch." piper um-coughed out.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME? SAYS THE WHORE!"
hazel finally looked up, innocently, from her crazy letter, "ok, girls, let's calm down?"
you and piper obliged, scowling at each other.
"anyway, bACK TO WHAT I WAS SAYING. maybe he is in love with me, he just doesn't fucking know it yet!"
"wait, isn't superman jaso-"
"BITCH SHUT YOUR MOUTH BEFORE I GO TO THE DAMNED CABIN AND GET THE FUCKING DUCT TAPE. you don't know who the fuck is lurking."
jason took that as his cue to get the fuck out of there.
our favorite white boy RAN to his boys.
he gathered them in percy's cabin. "guys, i just overheard something."
"what? that the superman theme song plays wherever you go?â percy snickered.
while percy and leo... snort-laughed, frank actually asked what happened.
"basically, i was walking past cabin 13 and the girls were in there, right? so i overhear yn saying something about 'superman' and how this song -down bad i think?- relates to them or something."
suddenly all the boys had their thinking faces on.
"what if she's in love with the actor of superman?" frank suggested.
leo had this eerie look on his face. "grow a couple of brain-cells chinese canadian baby man. she's in love with jason."
everyone just looked at leo. "ok, think about it. who the fuck else flies here? only jason. who else flies? superman."
jason thought about it. "that would make sense since piper was about to say my name when yn cut her off-"
"WHY DIDN'T YOU LEAD WITH THAT???"
"i didn't think that yn would ever like me back." he said matter-of-factly.
to be fair, jason had a crush on you since he arrived at camp. you were so pretty but you were so lively too. your personality was bright and radiant and maybe a bit crazy. just a bit though. but in a good way!
you just radiated positivity as if you were the sun. to him you could've been.
jason didn't realize he zoned out until leo was about to shove a shoe in his mouth.
"LEO?! WHAT THE FLIP ARE YOU DOING?!"
"oh i got him back guys! you like... died." leo said.
"so you were going to resuscitate me by shoving a shoe in my mouth?"
"yeah, basically!"
jason didn't know what to say to that so he didn't say anything!
"can we get back on track?"
"yes," percy answered. "we shall."
"first things first, we already know that you love yn so much from the bottom of your heart. but how are you going to tell her?" frank asked.
jason was at a loss.
"don't worry, i'll sleep on it."
"hey sparky!" you exclaim.
"oh h-hey yn." you side-eyed him, wondering if he heard your gods-awful conversation yesterday.
then you slapped yourself. (mentally?) of course he wouldn't do that! he's your sweet little superman who you are hopelessly in love with!
"do you wanna race to the top of the lava wall with me? don't be shy, you always lose!" you asked.
"um, i don't think i can today yn, sorry."
you were a little lot disappointed. you just really liked him and he fucking rejects you??? what if you tell him how you feel and he doesn't feel the same way? what if you become the laughing-stalk of camp? âk, bye jase.â
after he left you sprinted to your girls.
"BITCHES, CODE RED. WHO HAS AN EMPTY CABIN?"
hazel slowly raised her hand. "just don't mess it up again. if piper doesn't want your foot in her face, don't put it in her goddamn face. ok?"
you scowled at her before sprinting to hazelâs cabin.
you guys took your seats from yesterday.
âJASON WAS ACTING FUCKING WEIIIIRD THIS MORNING.â you glared at piper.
âwhat the- wHY ARE YOU GUYS LOOKING AT ME?!â piper screeched.
annabeth spoke up, âyou were the one who practically said jasonâs name.â
âannie. you just said it. SUPERMAN ONLY BITCHES.â you said.
âwhat if that did happen?â hazel asked. âheâs not a pretty, perfect, goody-two-shoes princess? like you think he is. â
âYES HE IS SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH HAZEL.â
annabeth, piper, and hazel all just looked at each other, tired with your shit.
âI CAME HERE FOR HELP, NOT THE BITCHY JUDGING COUNCIL!â
"i think she's onto me." jason said to his little boy band.
percy looked up from his game of chess with frank and stroked his chin, "why may that be?"
jason scratched his neck sheepishly, "um, she, like side-eyed me?â
âthis is yn weâre talking about. she side-eyes everybody.â leo said.
âBUT NOT ME!â jason panicked.
frank tsked at percy, âwhat move you gonna make?â
âoh, shut it frank. iâm invested. what else did yn say?â
âi⌠donât remember.â
all the boys collectively looked at him.
âI WAS NERVOUS! WHAT IF-â
âSHUT YOUR BLOODY MOUTH!â leo exclaimed. âwe need a fucking plan.â
âdo you have a plan leo?â frank asked.
âi actually do, frank. gather round children.â
after some meticulous planning, and a couple phone calls, a plan was set.
a prom dress, a boom box, and taylor swift.
exciting right?
it was two days after that stupid conversation (that jason totally didn't overhear).
annabeth, piper and hazel came to drag you from your seat at the docks where you were reading an angsty romance (like the sad emo girl you were after being rejected by the love of your life).
"what the fuck do you whores want?"
"ok rude," annabeth replied, "but you have to come with us."
"we have something exciting for you!" hazel said enthusiastically.
you looked at hazel, "haze, 'excitement', does not exist for me anymore. ever since the love of my goddamned life rejected me- "
piper cut you off, "ok shut up yn. first of all, he didn't even reject you. he just said he can't climb the lava wall with you. just come with us. please don't make a big deal about it."
you looked at the girls suspiciously, "what's in it for me?"
the girls shared a look, "that's a secret. but believe me, everything's in it for you."
"i look like a fucking bratz doll!" you screeched.
"ok, so?" piper replied. "I DON'T WANNA LOOK LIKE A DOLL THAT GOT BOTCHED PLASTIC SURGERY!"
piper was doing and messing up your makeup while annabeth and hazel were looking for a good outfit.
"also miss bitchy," you said, "why am i wearing this much makeup? and why is annabeth and hazel trying so hard to find an outfit?"
piper could see that you were clearly becoming suspicious. she just gave you a small (knowing) smile, "oh don't worry about it sweet."
you were about to jump her when hazel and annabeth came holding ... a prom dress and two inch heels?
âare you shitting me? what the fuck is this?â you asked.
âyn, just put it the fuck on! no. arguments. â piper said.
you werenât someone to refuse looking good. (even if piper messed up your makeup.) âfine, but iâm watching yâall.â
they nodded while you went to the bathroom to change.
you came out and hazel to do the back. âok, how do i look?â you asked, deadpan.
âyn! you look stunning!â hazel exclaimed.
you looked decent. you had an old prom dress that the aphrodite cabin just happened to have and slightly crusty heels.
âthis will definitely work. heâll be drooling all over her.â piper said to annabeth.
you were so confused, what the fuck is happening?
"excuse me? what's going on? cause i am about to shit my pants." you said.
annabeth, hazel, and piper just looked at each other and said, "don't worry about it dear." and burst out laughing. (about what? that wasn't even funny???)
suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"oh my fucking gods, who is it?!" you shout.
piper looked at you. "chill," she opened the door, "hey leo."
"why is leo here?!" she ignored you! leo pulled her outside, when she came back she nodded to annabeth and hazel.
"ok yn! time for your surprise!" hazel said, knowingly.
then, hazel blindfolded you, annabeth and piper grabbed your legs, while leo grabbed your arms. while you were screaming to satan.
next, y'all went on your merry way going gods-know-where!
suddenly you were dropped straight on the fucking ground so hard your ass hurt and all your bindings slipped off.
you were in the middle of the fucking woods. and you could distantaly hear hazel, piper, leo and annabeth running away.
really where you were dropped was gorgeous. you were at a clearing in the middle of the woods. it was around sunset so everything was lit up with the golden sunlight streaming through the leaves. you could hear the faint sound of a creek in the distance.
all of sudden you heard footsteps. you got up of your ass and cursed under your breath when you realized you have no knifes because somebody took them from you.
you turned toward the sound when you saw him.
jason, all dressed up in a matching suit.
"oh, h-hi jason. whatcha doing here?"
"oh, just waiting for a pretty girl so i can give her a dance."
you looked around confusedly. "jase, i think you went the wrong way. all the pretty girls are back at camp."
he chuckled, then pulled a boombox from his ass. "would you give me this dance milady?"
you were so so so baffled. what was happening? but your heart belonged to him. "um, sure?"
he clicked play on the boombox and 'you belong with me' by taylor swift started playing. he grabbed your hands and placed them on his shoulders. (TRUST ok? they're waltzing to "you belong with me", but its fine.
you felt like your heart was going a million miles a second but in slow motion at the same time. you were panicking but you felt so content.
the bridge was playing and you realized how much the song relates to you and jason.
you guys were best friends before you something happened two days ago.
y'all knew each other better than the back of your hand.
he would bring you ice cream when you were on your period and when you weren't.
anytime he had to go on a quest without you he brought you souvenirs.
you told each other about your crazy dreams. like when elmo was chasing you down rodeo drive.
the song ended.
"i-" you looked up.
"um-" jason cut you off.
"you go first." you were terrified, your heart pounding in your chest.
"well, i've had the biggest crush on you, yn. since i arrived, really-"
you cut him off, pulling his mouth to your own.
you were in euphoria for a minute until you both pulled away.
"soooo?" you were giddy, "what now?"
jason looked thoroughly confused, you were too. "i don't know but we'll get through it together."
your cold heart melted a little at that.
"i have a question," you asked, walking away. "did you have a crush only because of my fat ass?"
"oh my gods, yn!"
author's note: so yeah um... there it is. it sucks, i kinda hate it but i thought it was a good idea and i wanted to start writing.

You know how everyone of the 11 (seven + Nico, Will, Reyna and Thalia) has names that means something really deep except for three.
Sources : Google
The name Perseus is of Greek origin and means "destroyer". It may come from the Ancient Greek word pertho, which means "to destroy".
The name Annabeth is a combination of the names Anna and Elizabeth, and has multiple meanings: Favor, Full of grace, and My God is an oath.
From the Greek word iaomai, which means "to heal" or "cure", Jason means "healer".
The name Leonidas has its origins in ancient Greece, where it is derived from the Greek words leon, meaning lion, and idas, meaning like.
The Italian male name Niccolò means "victor of people" or "people's champion". It comes from the Greek name Nikolaos.
The name William means "resolute protector" or "strong-willed warrior".
The name Thalia is of Greek origin and means "to blossom," "blooming," "flourishing," and "festivity". It may also be derived from the Greek word thallein, which means "to flourish".
Reyna is a Spanish girl's name that means "queen" and has roots in Latin, German, and Yiddish.
And then, there's Piper, Frank and Hazel -
Piper is an English name that means someone who plays the musical pipe, flute, or bagpipes.
The name Frank has multiple meanings, including "free", "Frenchman", and "a diminutive of Francis and Franklin".

Cabin Matchup for @november-solarstorms
â°â⤠Thank you for doing Matchups at Sugutoad
â°â⤠Cabin 10 â Goddess of Love, my moms AphroditeâÂ
Iâll be honest, this one just came straight to me. Since you do matchups, you probably had those moments when you see a matchup and it just hits you?
Daughter of Aphrodite and Legacy of HecateÂ
Do you know how beautiful you are? The way when entering the room, the sound of heels clicking against the cabin floor, all eyes are on you. They feel intimidated by your cold yet beautiful aura.
You have the best outfits in Camp Half Blood. After bribing Chiron that at least once every month campers should be allowed to wear whatever they wish. But Chiron insisted that orange must be somehow incorporated through your outfit but letâs be honest, itâs hard to pull the colour orange if you donât know what you are doing.
After hearing that news, campers flooded the Aphrodite cabin. They were so eager to talk to you, to sort of thank you and help them with an outfit. Together you and your siblings made everyone look beautiful.
Even though charmspeak is quite rare amongst Aphrodite kids, being a legacy of Hecate sort of gave you a boost up. Sorcerers have been known to use charmspeak such as Medea. But even if it werenât for Hecate, I just feel like you would get charmspeak with that sharp tongue of yours.
You radiance so much confidence, the young campers look up at you. Though you are known to be aloof, you have the sweetest smile but some people say itâs the use of your Aphrodite beauty but only you know the truth
You have control over magic, maybe not as much as Lou Ellen or Alabaster but since your father was the son of Hecate you had some control. And I know for a fact that Drew and other Aphrodite kids get jealous at times since outfits tend to be seasonal. You really canât wear a short skirt in the winter, right? Well not if you donât have magic. Using a small spell, you can control the warmth of your body. So despite it freezing or boiling outside, you can wear anything you feel like.
Fighting is a dance when it comes to you. Think of Mitsuri from Demon Slayer. The way you grab your sword, tiptoeing around and spinning so gracefully. It all looks so sequenced out and so beautiful.
Can I just say you would be besties with Drew? Ultimately two Aphrodite girls who are so similar ought to be friends. When Drew was elected councillor of the Aphrodite cabin, she elected you as her assistant to help her around. Though we all know she just wanted your company and to talk with someone, she didnât want to be lonely.
Whenever there is a party, you always help set everything around. Whether itâs making the lights or making sure everyone looks beautiful. But no one ever knows where you are when the party happens. Plot Twist: You are most likely in your room and reading a horror story . But donât worry, your siblings wonât rat you out and will bring food from the party. Drew always pokes you around for liking too much horror and ghost thing, she wonât admit but she is scared of ghosts and you bringing them up all the time isnât helping,
You are one of the top demigods in Camp Halfblood. You pass all your classes with flying colours, whether itâs archery or hand-to-hand combat. While Percy was doing his own prophecy, you were sent on small quests to help the camp.Â
I donât know why⌠but I feel like you would join the Titan Army. Upon hearing that, your siblings were heartbroken but when the war was finished they welcomed you with open arms.
After leaving for New Rome for college, you certainly left a mark and legacy in Camp. Memories of you linger around every part of Camp.
I know this is a cabin matchup but can I just add that if I were to give you a romantic matchup it would be Rachel? But if you are interested in guys then perhaps Leo/Percy?

I was at true rock bottom. My favorite machine was out of order, I had lost my lotus card in my luxury suite, and karaoke wasn't until Wednesday. I groan as I rub my hand over my face, the slot machine in front of me blinking red. That usually meant it was broken. Worst of all, my friend, Bianca, was no where to be found. I hadn't seen her since breakfast.
Glancing around at the vast expanse of games in front of me, I frown as I set my sights on a different machine I could try . Dull purple LEDs and blacklights lit my way as I watched other casino goers as they stumbled from game to game. I hear shouts of excitement rise from the craps table to my right and sighs of disappointment from the poker game to my left. Children snake around my ankles, screaming and laughing as they chase each other. I tilt my head as I arrived at a new game I had never seen before; Connect Four. A giant yellow board with checkers was spread out in front of me, along with a flashing green button telling me it was my turn.
"Rose," I heard from behind me. I whip around to face the voice, smiling. "There you are!"
"Bianca! I haven't seen you in so long." I exclaimed. My friend smiled at me as she reached out her arms, silently asking for a hug. I supress a laugh as she pulls me in, acting as if we hadn't seen each other for a month.
"I have been looking for you for like an hour." She draws out, huffing slightly, pulling away from the hug. She all but groans as she rolls her eyes, exaggeration coursing through her movements. I spot her little brother, standing close to her right side, as he shoots me a small wave. I smile at him as he retreats back into Bianca's shadow.
"I'm sorry, Bi," I begin as I look back at my friend with a smile on my face, "I really was trying to find you, then I got a little sidetracked." Sheepishly laughing as I pointed to the machine off to my right. She waves her hand, telling me that it wasn't a big deal.
"No worries." She responded, absentmindedly. I could see her rocking back and forth on her feet, her tell tale sign of nervousness. She looked as if she wanted to say more.
"Hey, what's up?" I ask her, my eyebrows furrowed in concern. My eyes run over her face, trying to make out anything going on.
"Nothing, I guess I'm just nervous." I knew it. I could feel a small pit grow in my stomach, hating to see my friend worried. She shook her head, glancing around the lively setting.
"I spoke on the phone with our lawyer today." My eyebrows knit further in confusion. 'Why would she be nervous about that?' I thought to myself as a frown makes its way onto my face.
"I just-" She starts, trailing off, trying to find the right words to say. "It was different today than usual, the phone call. She said she was going to come pick us up and take us to school."
My eyes grow wide at her statement. Usually her lawyer calls to check in on the brother and sister's well-being, to see if they're alive. It's always a quick call, with no weight to it. This time, I could tell it was different. Take them to school? What school?
"Wait, what?" I hesitated. "I thought your Dad had sent you here to stay?" Worry evident in my voice. I didn't like change, and this felt like a big change.
"I have no idea. All I know is our lawyer will be here in an hour. She also said that you were to be coming with us." She says, a small smile creeping onto her face. I tilt my head, shooting her a look of disbelief.
"That's not funny, Bianca. Do not get my hopes up." I giggled. She shook her head trying to suppress her own laughter.
"I'm serious, Rosie!" She exclaimed, her hands coming up in a comical 'i'm innocent' motion. "She said she's be here in an hour to take you, Nico, and I to our new school in Maine." At her words, I saw Nico's face fall. His expression a now obvious look of disappointment at the thought of leaving.
"Wait!" I state loudly, drawing out the end of the word. "Why am I coming with you? I mean, I've only met your lawyer like once." Bianca shrugs, her eyes widened in a 'I have no idea either' look.
"Are you sure we have to leave?" I ask as I shake my head. I had been staying here for over a month now and I didn't want to go. I frown as I see her head nod in agreement. "I mean, do we have to go with her? We could just stay here instead of going to school. I like that idea." She nods fervently, agreeing wholeheartedly.
"Me too!" Nico responded, fiddling with a small silver army guy. I smile at him as he moves to stand next to Bianca now. She huffs as she spares a look over to her brother.
"Look, maybe we can convince her to let us stay here, but we should at least go pack." Bianca muttered, looking as if she said it against her will. I groan at the thought of leaving and having to pack. All I wanted was to hang out with Bianca and play games, not leave the hotel I had called home for almost two months.
"Fine." I say reluctantly, sparing a longing glance to the arcade game in front of me. She sends me a begrudging look as she motions for me to follow her.
I had spent the last two months here, my days filled with games, parties, and music. It couldn't get any better. I'd been here since my father dropped me off here on one of his business trips, and I can't seem to remember the reason. I had met Nico on one of my first days here and he quickly introduced me to Bianca. We've been attached by the hip ever since.
We made small talk about the lawyer visiting and what our new school was going to be like. "I bet it's going to be huge!" Nico exclaims. "Like the school on Mount Olympus in Myth-O-Magic!" I crack a smile at his antics.
"I bet it's going to be shit." I mutter under my breath, causing Bianca to suppress a laugh behind her hand. She gives me a look and nods in agreement, trying to hide her actions from her brother. We round the corner on one of the extensive halls in the hotel, the bright lights hurting my eyes. After a couple more minutes we arrive at Bianca and Nico's door. I frown as I meet her gaze.
"Are you sure we have to go, Bianca?" I whispered, looking down at my feet. She nods and puts a gentle hand on my shoulder.
"I'm sure, Rosie. This will be a good change, I have a good feeling." She says giving me a reassuring smile. I don't know what I would do without her, even though I was two years older than her it seemed as if she had been around for longer, an older soul.
"Meet us at the front door in thirty minutes." Bianca insisted, stepping into the door frame of her and Nico's suite. I see Nico sheepishly smile at me before pulling the door closed.
I smile as I turn on my heel, humming a familiar song. Maybe this will be a good change. I guess it would be kind of nice to get some fresh air, but yet again, I think I like the air of my suite just fine. Bianca was right, it'll be a good change, at least that's what I tell myself.
I make my way up a couple floors and stop in front of my door, swiping my lotus card on the handle. None of the hotels from back home had that. I swing the door open, music instantly meeting my ears. Fleetwood Mac's Landslide makes its way into my ears. I sigh as I look forlornly to the bag laying haphazardly in the corner. The room is lit up with the various lamps stowed away in the corners of the room, as my blankets sit peacefully on my soft bed. I quickly walk over to my bag, quickly pulling out the clothes from my drawers.
I could feel a funny feeling rising up in my stomach. It twists as I think about finally stepping out of this place and that I will have to go back to the real world. My stomach surges as I think about having to go back to school. I know I won't be able to fit in. I was never able to fit in before, I could never escape the 'weirdo' narrative my peers set onto me. They would make fun of me as flowers seemed to follow me wherever I went. If I was excited, daisies would pop out of the ground. If I was sad, plants in a close radius would begin to wilt. No one knew why, and neither did I. I just wanted to be normal.
I sigh as I stuff the last thing into the tattered bag I had brought with me into the casino. I quickly throw on my bomber jacket, adorned with american flag patches and pins from various rock bands. It was my most special possession, but I couldn't seem to remember why.
Glancing around the room, I grab my bag as I head for the door, turning around one last time. I step out of my room, closing the door behind me. I trudge forward, ready to face whatever was in front of me.
