Quick things I made with the comic creator (236/?)

I feel bad for not posting anything for so long so I made a couple of doodles and doodles of stuff I was supposed to work with but couldn’t get myself to do to make up 😭

And abt this little creature which I added in some of the doodles. I MIGHT start to add it into my future drawing, for fun

Here you go, this is Mint Chip Cookie

So basically Mint Chip over here is the current prince of the Dark Cacao Kingdom. He is also missing an arm, due to that arm being underbaked in the oven and simply falling off, but he's fine with it, that's just the reality he's always known. Mint Chip in general is a very chill guy, you'd never really see him get upset. He's not the most physically capable or active Cookie, outside of his missing limb, and he instead focuses his time into magic. Speaking of which, he has the ability to control ice and snow, something he was born with. His family isn't quite sure why he has these powers (a fear is that he's a frost child), but he's cool with it regardless

He's also not the only kid I've given ice powers to, as another one, Red Mochi, also has them. I don't know how they'd meet but they'd probably be good friends. Then there's also Hoarfrost, my frostcacao kid but she makes sense to have those powers and she ain't done yet

Anyways, on to his name. He's based on mint chocolate chip ice cream, since mint and chocolate and one of them's already Mint Choco. It had to be shortened significantly so now it's just Mint Chip

So I think the only reason I had him missing an arm is because I didn't want to draw another arm and I wanted a cape draping over one side. So armless it is

I also tried to make his design look a bit more...medieval fantasy, if that's the correct term. Basically what I mean is, Dark Choco and Dark Cacao's defaults look closer to European knights than they do Korean, and I wanted to incorporate that into Mint Chip's look as well

I believe I took Mint Chip's boots from Dark Choco's Young Prince design

I gave Mint Chip the black streaks because of the chips in the ice cream, as well as it being the best way to mix both hair colors in, since they both have white streaks already. Though I'm wondering if maybe I could have made his green hair lighter, to better match the ice cream

I believe Mint Chip originally had green eyes, but I changed them to red when I realized his colors were way too much Mint Choco and not enough Dark Choco. That may have also been why he has a red brooch thing, but I may have just added that regardless (and that one is harmless, unlike Dark Choco's)

Then I gave Mint Chip the semi shoulder pad and green chips just to add some more pizzazz to his design, since it's mostly flat colors

But overall I'd say I like his design. I wouldn't call him a banger like Tune Melt or Peppermint Mocha, he's a little too simple to be in their category, but he's at least a 7/10

And yeah that's Mint Chip, I hope you enjoy him

A knight in training, Aero is someone who won't hesitate to defend those who cannot defend themselves. He can be a bit cocky from time to time but he does mean well.

(Also this is just a random little thing but he's really close to his half-sister, Choco Cream Pie)

Golden Butter is the type of person to be curious about things that are seen as "abnormal" so to say. When not hanging out with his parents or aunties, it's a guarantee that you'll see her exploring the area.

(Sandwich x Parfait kid)

Berry Sandwich is a rather energetic Cookie who's semi-popular. I mean, she is the daughter of a popular popstar, so is that really that big of a surprise?

Though, despite many Cookies believing Berry Sandwich will follow Parfait's footsteps, they already have their eyes on opening their own sandwich shop, inspired by her other Mum.

Man, there's something about darkmint that is so appealing, I think it's because usually, the artists don't focus on Choco's misery too much...? This is my main gripe with Choco-centered accounts, I get they're your babygirl, but, don't make them into a “pwecious bwean that needs 2 b protectwed bc they cant pwotect themselves”, alright? seems like there's a thin line between baby girl and character destruction.

Twitter Choco-centered artists are wild.

13 out of 62 of my fankids (the ones done plus the ones I have yet to do) have Dark Choco as one of the parents

Granted, 3 of those are personal ones I wanted to do, and 2 of those 3 involve Dark Choco, so the ratio of requested ones is technically 11 to 59, but still

He easily has the highest number out of all of them. I haven’t counted every one of them, but I think the second highest is Almond with a mere 5

I had this funny idea early on to like, have all the Dark Choco kids together, then we’d pan to Dark Cacao seeing them all, and then he looks at Dark Choco with a face that’s basically like “why do you have so many children? That all have different parents?” while Dark Choco tries to avoid eye contact with his father, but at this point it’s getting a bit ridiculous

And I’ll never draw it because I want to put all of them, but I haven’t gotten to every last one yet and they just keep coming

Dark Choco has a harem and all of the partners represent different feelings and relationships from "Beauty and the Beast/'I can cure his curse'" to "We're both monsters and we can find comfort in each other for being outcasts" to "Our pasts were the happiest times in our life" to finally "He's perfect and needs all the work in the world to fix him yes those two statements can coexist"
