If someone was to ask you what your favorite holiday was, you’d always say Christmas. You didn’t feel as excited even on your own birthday as much as you did on Christmas Day. It was just so magical, so cheerful, and so full of love, that you always counted down the days with so much anticipation, mentally transporting yourself to when you were a little kid. You loved how the whole family got together and enjoyed a table full of the tastiest food imaginable, the gift-giving was always so fun and exciting, and, of course, getting together to watch a movie after you’ve stuffed yourself full and you’re just so happy and content made the whole experience that much more amazing.

This year though, Christmas was going to be even more special, because it was going to be the first year you would spend the whole day with your boyfriend, Eren. You’d been together for almost a year and you just couldn’t wait to share all the joyous moments Christmas brought with him. You’d gotten the both of you matching sweaters, his green to match his eyes with a Mickey Mouse in a Christmas costume printed on it, and yours red with, of course, his counterpart, Minnie, in a cute Christmas dress. You knew he was going to laugh his ass off when he saw them, but that was also the point.

you wanna know what’s so funny is that we’re all like “omg Essek could NOT shut up about Caleb 🥺💕” but like. he absolutely can.
