Hello, you wonderful strangers on the internet! New promt! My online safety teachers probably so disappointed right now-

Danny fenton was having a very strange time. It started like this.

Danny had lived his whole life with the Fentons and fully considered them family, even knowing he was adopted.

Until last month, that is.

Danny's secret was unfortunately revealed to his parents on their yearly camping trip, which was one of the few times his parents had enough time to take a few days trip with him and Jazz.

However, it all went downhill when they decided to test their new invention for any ghosts in the area and it led them straight to danny, which of course, prompted a few.... tests.

So.

Yeah.

It was pretty bad. So, Jazz and him decided to test his blood to see if he has any other relatives. But. That's where it all really began.

Danny's blood wasn't his. Like, it was but also it wasn't?

What he means, is his blood immediately matched him as Tim drake, or rather, his exact copy.

Tim Drake. CEO of wayne industries. Gotham's high society leader, celebrity, and part of the Wayne family.

I Can be everything and anything, at once

A 27 years old Phantom was challenged to a bet, by his co-workers at the watchtower. Green lantern stated along with the the other heroes that If he could help every single one of them at least once in a month while not using any his powers and he also had to be physically and mentally there as he helps them. the cherry on top was that he needed to use his real identity instead of his ghost form in this mission.

If Phantom successfully conceals his civilian identity, while helping them, he gets to know everyone's deepest darkest secrets.

But if he loses, he must do everyone a favor and must keep it no matter how outrageous it is.

Ofcourse Phantom agreed, because he was no bitch, okay so maybe he is, he only accepts bets like this if he knows that'll he'll win. so yeah.

Besides, having no powers for this, is really a piece of cake, if you're a raging gender fluid that knows his way around makeup and can easily change the sound of his voice, to be honest the shapeshifting parts that he got from his powers are basically just add-ons.

Well what was he waiting for? afterall he needed all the blackmail he could get, not as Phantom but as Daniel James Fucking Fenton, this was an opportunity to go batshit crazy and he was absolutely stealing it.

The very first hero Danny approached to help was Wonder Woman, who thanked Danny who was now disguised as a woman wearing a long ass Red wig, and some clothes he "borrowed" from Jazz who just joked about Danny being her twin, and wished him luck.

"Thank you, young lady for your brave actions to help me." Wonder woman sincerely thanked the boy in disguise as she held both of Danny's hands as gratitude "may I ask the name of my savior? "

"My name's El, It's a pleasure to know you." Danny smiled a little wider.

The second was Flash, which Danny found completely amusing because of the way he helped the speedy hero, who tripped while patrolling around the city.

Danny who was now in a more gothic attire( thanks to Sam's help) caught the hero's wrist before he embarrassingly fell face first on the ground.

"You okay there sir?" Danny asked, as he kept a firm grip on the man's wrist to make sure he doesn't fall.

Meanwhile Flash who thought he was in those korea tv romance dramas only blue screened for a few seconds before finally get his shit together. "yeah- um- name's Flash, and you are?"

The hero tripped on his own words, making Danny amused as fuck. "James, it was nice to finally meet you"

Okay, about like three weeks in, and Danny managed to help almost everyone in the watchtower, and only a few more to go,( he didn't get why most of the heroes he helped either started to stutter or blue screen in their spot once they talk to him. like damn is this how all of you treat every civilian who interacts with you? that's just sad) but at this time, Dan and Elle found out, and were now demanding to join, with the excuse of basically being Danny but in alternate or clone form, which Danny had no choice but to give in, I mean he wasn't breaking any rules so technically this was alright.

Danny wanted to take a break so Dan took over this time.

currently Nightwing was observing the outside of the gala, Bruce was invited to, something about a bunch of drugs being hidden within the crowd, and was now being passed around.

He intently remained focused on his observation, while also keeping a conversation with Oracle and the others on the comms, he didn't realize that he was too far off the edge of the railing he was standing on, until he missed a step.

Nightwing would never admit that he let a quiet squeal to his siblings ever as he fell, he closed his eyes and braced for impact, he would never expect to fall into the arms of a man 3x bigger than him, he stared at the man, and the man stared at him. 'holy shit' Nightwing thought.

The man, chuckled making Nightwing internally scream. "When I wished for Desiree, to make someone from above to save me from this trash party, I didn't think it would be one of the birds of gotham, to come and fall for me let alone the handsome one."

Okay Nightwing was now full on red from blushing, he was put down gently by the man on the ground, before offering a handshake, once Nightwing accepted the handshake, Dan pulled the hand closer to his mouth then gave a quick peck on the back of the hand vigilante's hand. "My name's Dan Masters, it's a pleasure to meet you."

his siblings can eat dirt on how they were teasing Nightwing Right now, but this was fucking worth it.

And the last to have gotten help from Danny was John Constantine, Danny actually had a reason on why he saved John for last, and that's because John actually knows Danny's identity, so for this mission he asked the help of his daughter Elle.

Elle had helped John by fixing a ruined summoning circle, who also helped him negotiate with a demon, and somehow all day, Elle just stuck to Constatine's side, her explanation? 'He'll die without me' fair point John thought as he took the kid, to order ice cream and to hangout in the park.

"You know kid, you remind me of someone." Constantine stated while keeping his eyes on what's infront of him, which was just a bunch of trees.

Elle who sat next to him, still eating her Ice cream looked up at him and said. "Really?"

"Yeah like you two literally have the same aura and all just a little different, but I don't know who yet." He replied and ruffled the kid's hair. making the girl laugh.

"Hey John!" Danny greeted behind them, and then all the gears inside of Constantine's head began to work. he let out a groan as he realized the girl beside him was the clone of the man behind him, well he needed to kiss that secret of his goodbye. here on this spot right now or he'll die of embarrassment if he waited any longer.

"Danny, let's go on a date." Constantine stated, not facing the Man.

this comment made the Father and Daughter choke on literal air.

Robin keeps receiving packed lunches.

He's not sure how it keeps happening. Any time Damian sits still for more than a second theres a small crincling sound of a paper bag and when he looks over to where the sound oriented from he sees the packed lunch.

This would be odd enough even before you counted the notes inside. The first one simply wrote, "from your loving clone ❤" which was concerning but upon fathers inspection none of the food had been tampered with, though the food choice was odd. Signal asked if he could have the fruit roll up since Damian didn't want it.

If this was a clone than what did they want? Why not come out and fight him? Were they trying to lure him into a false sense of security and poison the food at a later date? Why not strike him while they had the upper hand? It was clear Damian would not see them coming judging by how close the supposed "clone" could get before dropping off the packages.

Danny in the meantime hoped his clone dad liked the packed lunches he packed for him. He also hoped the Robin wouldn't try to stab him anytime soon.

Plot twist: its a Damian and Danyal are twins au but the twist is that Danyal is dead and Danny is actually Danyals clone instead of Damians. Neither know yet.

nah brO BECAUSE LITERALLY I HAVE THOUGHT BOUT THAT. Literally since the conception of Clone Danny, I have thought about it. If only for, as you said, the COMEDY of it all. Plus I love writing romance.

Literally my motto for my aus is: A) is it plausible, B) is it FUNNY (and a secret third option C) is it ANGSTY)

Clone Talia would be an offshoot au of Clone^2 because idk how she'd fit into the original timeline, bUT, she'd exist. And to avoid confusion I'll call her Nasra - I thought about Tameka (which means twin) but I like Nasra better. "Talia and Nasra" just flows so nicely doesn't it?

Idk WHY there's a clone of Talia running around -- maybe the LoA made her, maybe n unknown organization who hates Batman and knows he has romantic ties to Talia, and started making a clone of her to fuck with him and then she got nabbed by a portal when she was still Danny's age and in the middle of training. She might be like Connor (??) and have memories and thus her training is more proficient than baby Dames.

Either way, regardless of how she was made, I think it's hilarious if she, much like baby Dames, immediately attacks Danny on sight. She falls into his city and Danny only has a moment to go "goddammit not agaIN" before he's fending off a very confused, very violent Nasra. Fortunately he's able to actually try and talk to her and be at least somewhat successful -- Nasra knows english. although even if she didn't, Danny would still be somewhat successful since he knows Arabic.

Also Bruce and Danny are the battinson bat because i think that is also hilarious and 'wet rat' is STILL the perfect energy for Danny as Phantom - especially in the early days when he's running around in all but jeans and a hoodie. (and god watch me go on a rant in a separate post about his outfit and reasonings for being Phantom when he has no powers later on because it makes me go FERAL. and his active choice to look as inhuman and ghost-like through his behavior as phantom and the decision to wear such a creepy mask as possible)

(like seriously, imagine walking home late at night while danny was still in his early vigilante days (and even now when he's got damian and a better suit) and seeing a skinny figure in the shadows with sunken in black-and-glowing-green eyes, and a bone white, skull-like face, crouched on all fours like a wild animal about to pounce. THAT is the level of creepiness I was going for for clone danny)

In my head, Sam offers to house Nasra and Nasra stays with her. SAm is able to convince her parents to let her stay, or she pulls a Danny and just straight up smuggles her in and her parents are none the wiser. I also think it's funny if they have unspoken BEEF with each other. Only to later become like sisters. Nasra teaches Sam the martial arts she knows, and also Danny joins in too with Damian because goddamn he needs it even IF he's learning stuff from his mom (as per the most recent snippet post I made).

OH AND DAMIAN AND NASRA. I think it's equally as funny if they ALSO have beef with each other. Nasra is a clone of his mother (of whom he might have complicated views on due to being a clone but still is his mother) and Damian is a clone of Nasra's "son". This beef largely starts from Damian's own refusal to want to share his Danny with another clone, especially with a clone of his MOTHER.

Danny and Nasra don't become lovers for a good, long while I think. They're besties first before they even consider the idea of dating -- not only just because of the whole "uhhh our counterparts dated so it'd feel kinda weird and forced if we dated" and also because Nasra, with her newfound freedom, is busy trying to figure out herself.

A big theme here in clone^2: discovering your identity and who you are as a person when the only thing you own that's unique is your name (which isn't even the case for Damian), and figuring out if your choices are your own or because you're a clone and its something your original would have done. Nature vs Nurture and the illusion of choice and whether it really is one or not.

Also Nasra also becomes a vigilante. Danny appreciates the help but is also tearing out his hair because what the fuck is up with these assassins and becoming vigilantes?! Nasra goes by "Nesha". She's similar to Red Huntress at first where she kinda does her own thing, but is lowkey forced to team up with Danny about it because she doesn't have any proper ghost hunting equipment with her.

And then a duo becomes a trio, and Danny is spending more time with her. And they steadily become friends. Very snarky friends who are very bratty to each other, but friends. Damian still doesn't like her so Danny spends extra time during patrol keeping the two of them from making insults at each other.

"Nesha please stop fighting with a nine year old. Wraith, quit insulting Nesha."

Nasra also uses like, weaponry as Nesha which exasperates Danny a little because why are you using swords??? They're already dead its not gonna kill them,,,, If you cut off their heads its just gonna piss em off, its re-attachable. Let him ghost-proof it first too. But well, its still gonna HURT he supposes. He's still a little exasperated.

And MMM i'm sorry lmao im so focused on Nasra becoming her own person than the actual romance aspect of it all. Nasra cuts her hair short for the same/similar reasons that Danny keeps his long - to try and gain a semblance of autonomy and identity that's away from their original. Danny has his alternative rock-kinda geeky look and Nasra's got, from influence from Sam, a more alternative fashion style. Although she still leans into being feminine, which is a good challenge to Sam's belief that feminity = bad, and gets her to unlearn those bad habits since her new adoptive sister is feminine while still being an unapologetic badass.

And ykw I think Nasra gets into rollerblading and loves it. She rollerblades constantly. Damian is furious because skating is his thing (even if what he gets later on is a skateboard - skater boy damian ftw. i can see him wearing flannels and graphic tees as a teenager. very grungy/skater aesthetic. He also has a much more relaxed and teen-y speech pattern compared to DW's more formal way of talking. He also spray paints as his form of artistic medium.) and he refuses to have Nasra be a copy of him.

They will sort out their differences eventually. LMao.

Anyways they eventually do get together, but not before Danny finally has his run in with Mister Wayne. Which, they only meet because Danny starts destabilizing, and thus needs Bruce Wayne's DNA to help stabilize himself. Which that meeting in and of itself is pretty chaotic on its own, but then add clone Damian and Nasra? Bruce needs coffee.. or alcohol.

Because picture this: its late at night, you're on patrol with the rest of your family. It's like, two in the morning. You suddenly get a call in from your butler, Alfred, informing you that not one, not two, but THREE children -- two of them in their late teens and the other one not even ten yet -- showed up on your doorstep. One of them is unconscious. They are all clones.

The girl and the boy are twins - and are clones of YOU - and the girl isn't even technically YOUR clone she's a clone of your clone - and also this clone of you is your college friends' kid. And then the youngest boy is a clone of your youngest SON. Bruce is running across rooftops when he gets this call and does a literal 180 degree turn and touches the ground because he basically did a figure skating turn, and sprints back towards the manor because what the fuck? He needs to check this out.

And then half a day later a clone of your fucking ex shows up on your doorstep demanding to see the clone of you - the boy that is, not the girl - and then immediately gets into a verbal lashing with the clone of your son. Like what a fucking DAY. Your kids are equally as baffled but also laughing their asses off -- except your bio son, who is very unhappy about this turn of events and keeps getting the stink eye from his clone.

Like??? I'd quit right then and there.

While Danny recovers he's staying in Wayne manor and Damian is very reportedly not leaving his side. Ellie has to leave to help take care of Amity Park with RH, and then Nasra is also very determinedly not leaving his side either. This is her friend dammit. The first thing she does when he becomes lucid is insult him, and he insults her back - they're bantering. It's how they flirt later on. None of the Bats know how to deal with this situation.

I ask this only because I see a lot of prompts for the two but the fics that feature them don't seem to be all that popular?

Jazz/Jason is a decently popular ship, but if I wanted to write a story that focused more on Jazz's mental health and growing up and leaving home, learning to be more than a caretaker, would you read that?

I've seen prompts where Dani will get depicted as Danny's daughter or twin or triplet. But if I wrote a fic exploring Dani's trauma and lack of identity, struggling to find meaning in being a failed clone, would you read that?

How would Canon Danny + Dark Dan + Dani all react to Ancient Vlad?… How would Canon Vlad feel about him?… This can take place after Season 3 or after the AGIT Comic, it’s your choice! 💚🤍🖤

I mean, at first Canon Danny, Dan, & Dani would most likely, initially just write him off as another rich frootloop, especially if it's before AGIT.

So, it'd come as a huge shock to see Vlad interacting amiably, if somewhat exasperatedly, with Jack & looking at Maddie with marked suspicion. Possibly even looking down his nose at her & making snide remarks.

Canon Vlad would likely be jealous of Ancient Vlad's obvious power. Though, he'd be confused as to why he acts so differently around Jack & Maddie.

AV would also very much dislike CV, because he'd see so damn much of the man who destroyed his life in him. And CV better be careful that he doesn't learn of what all he's done; to Danny or to Dani & the rest of the clones, because there'd be hell to pay. He's honestly liable to just take the girl back home with him to his universe. He's sure Eleanor wouldn't mind a twin sister. Though, he'll have to fully stabilize her too.

AV would also call CV a dolt for thinking that he would be able to ever have Maddie & would be bewildered as to why he'd even want an ectocidal maniac like her; she'd kill him for a cornchip if she knew his secret & would happily rip into them all for the sake of her unethical & heavily bigoted idea of science. To which CV would shout that she was the love of their life. Which AV would have a damn solid chuckle at the very idea of it.

The shocking part would be the reveal that AV already had the love of his life & that both she & their son have been dead for 400 years thanks to horrible, disgusting humans just like Madeline Fenton.

CV would go absolutely silent as the very idea of being alone for such a long time makes him shudder. Just 20 had seemed like far too much already. How could this other him possibly have managed for 400 years after losing the exact thing that CV wanted most? He'd lose his absolute mind!

AV: "Trust me, boy. Your unhealthy fixation on Madeline is the farthest thing from love. Love takes self-sacrifice. Love means wanting them happy & healthy & safe & alive, but being willing to let them go for their own well-being. If you really loved her or Daniel, you'd leave them to her bumbling husband & just try to rekindle your friendships with them. Maybe set up an online dating profile. It's certainly better than being alone."

AV would also be unable to fathom why CV can't comprehend the idea that he's been so alone for so long that of course he'd jump at any chance to expand the Halfa ranks. "Perfection" doesn't matter in the face of total isolation.

Also, think about this. Ancient Plasmius's hair is on fire like Dan's, but has this sort of gradient that turns from coal black at the roots to magenta at the ends.

Making Friends

Tucker makes a hacking friend Babs (or Tim). Maybe they met on an online forum or accidentally hacking into a company (Dalv Co. for funsies). When their schedule allows it, they create false programs that their friend has to get in and out of, with "necessary information", the other then advise them on what was missed or how to do something better.

Unknown to Tucker or Babs (or Tim), they start slipping away from false programs and start hacking real companies again. Each thinks that the other doesn't know of the plan, to get help from an unlikely ally. Like Tucker believes he gets them to hack Vlad's personal files. While Babs (or Tim) believes they get Tucker to hack into Lex's files.

Both know that the other is skilled enough to get in and out without notice. Just harmless fun.

Both realize too late that they let something slip about their other life constantly. They think, they easily get away with a lie, but both take note of it and move on.

At some point, things take a nosedive when, Babs (or Tim), finds a shady government that has detailed records of the horrors of Amity Park through underhanded funding by the town’s mayor.

Tucker finds the cloning technology through Lex's files that is so very familiar to Vlad's.

Now both are questioning the very likely suspicions that their friend isn't exactly who they say they are.

Sam also makes a friend reluctantly, through an animal activist group. This kid she couldn't see herself ever getting along with, she finds him annoying, kind of on the shallow end, and sometimes unpleasant. Only because of their shared interests does she at least try to get along.

Damian finds this girl completely rude but at the same time understands when he hears an argument with her folks about a gala.

(Her parents followed her and is completely against this particular group. Telling her that this organization is underhanded.)

Both Sam and Damien then find exactly how bad this funded group is and where the money raised is actually going. They spread the word to other people who don't listen or don't truly care. Instead, they take it on alone.

Damien just wants to stab people, but Sam gets through to him about a way to take down the company without causing too much of a fall out that puts them in a scandal. (It wouldn't stop Sam, but Damien knows that Bruce wouldn't be too happy with a scandal). 

Sam just needs Tucker's help with hacking.

Danny also makes a friend, more accidentally. With his friends being busy and not telling him why, and Jazz being busy with college thesis stuff. He goes online to find help with his book assignment of your choice (I'm a sucker for Jason and Danny interactions). He gets help by someone with a username that he relates too. He calls it a mood. That's literally how everything starts. It's thanks to Jason that Danny is passing English again.

However, one day, while online gaming, Technus takes over the game. Danny with quick information on what happened and spilling something about dead coming back to haunt the living and leaves to take care of something.

Jason now concerned, gets a hold of Babs (or Tim) to get information on whoever Technus is and everything about Amity Park.

Tucker has gotten to know Damien through Sam. 

Now Danny needs help from Tucker to isolate Technus in a singular device for easier capture with the thermos.

Tucker amateurly keeps his program open for his friend to see the situation with Technus (they don’t need the repeated danger of him getting into satellites). His friend recognizes the danger and helps out sealing Technus and removing him from servers.

Jason, Babs (or Tim), and Damien are now aware that Amity Park where their friends Danny, Tucker, and Sam live isn’t exactly a safe environment and wants answers.

Could include:

Fenton's C+ parenting

One of the Batfam is Danny's twin or sibling

One in 7 people just look like him

Bruce attempts to adopt the 3 much to the chagrin of the parents

Each of the befriended Batfam's alter ego is Team Phantom's favorite

A lot of shenanigans with information and/or identities

Hi! I just recently found your Daniel in Denial fic in AO3 and I just wanted you to know that it's incredible, I'm really glad that you decided to go through with the crack route instead of the serious one because it's hilarious.

I was wondering if you would expand on the whole "Danny Phantom doesn't believe that Danny Fenton" exists idea because that extra garnish of ridiculous will be hilarious!

Like, the Casper Highschool students confront Danny about it and he's just like.

Phantom: Danny Fenton doesn't actually exist! I might have been human once but that doesn't mean that I have a random twin-doppelganger-person-clone-whatever with a pun of my last name. Seriously, what was Technus thinking? How could anyone, even Skulker, fall for that?

Fenton: Danny Phantom? You guys aren't even trying anymore, seriously? A ghost twin/doppelganger/clone superhero with a pun of my last name for his last name? You think I'd believe that?

Danny in his head immediately after both encounters: Wtf, wtf, wtf. Danny what are you doing? Why are you acknowledging the fact that other you exists??? Why are you pointing out the fact that you like a ghost that everyone sees on a daily basis????

Danny a week later up-ing the ante by involving Danielle to be a "paradox fixer from an aternate-future-timeline dedicated to making sure Phantom and Fenton never meet": Holy shit this actually hilarious, wtf.

Danielle beside him, checking over the list of chores that Clockwork sent her to do after having finished laughing her ass off about Danny's latest shenanigans: He's technically not even lying!

The way I've been thinking about the choice to make Phantom 'not believe in' Fenton is that it was yet another escalation in the implausible deniability of Danny's life.

But yeah lmao it would be amusing, if someone were to get a little to close to connecting the dots, for Danny to give them a completely different conspiracy to latch onto.

Hello, you wonderful strangers on the internet! New promt! My online safety teachers probably so disappointed right now-

Danny fenton was having a very strange time. It started like this.

Danny had lived his whole life with the Fentons and fully considered them family, even knowing he was adopted.

Until last month, that is.

Danny's secret was unfortunately revealed to his parents on their yearly camping trip, which was one of the few times his parents had enough time to take a few days trip with him and Jazz.

However, it all went downhill when they decided to test their new invention for any ghosts in the area and it led them straight to danny, which of course, prompted a few.... tests.

So.

Yeah.

It was pretty bad. So, Jazz and him decided to test his blood to see if he has any other relatives. But. That's where it all really began.

Danny's blood wasn't his. Like, it was but also it wasn't?

What he means, is his blood immediately matched him as Tim drake, or rather, his exact copy.

Tim Drake. CEO of wayne industries. Gotham's high society leader, celebrity, and part of the Wayne family.
