She couldn't lie; as much as she loved her sisters, the blue-accessoried Spaniel daughter appreciated the moments away from them, too. For right now, it was just her and Bingo - a neighbour from just down the street and in her opinion the most adorable little girl ever, bar none - and she was going to make the most of it.

Ear pricked up a little at Bingo's question.

"The games? Of course!"

Mr. Bandit had given her money to spend on the younger girls, and she had her own allowance too, so Annette had no fear of spending more than she could afford. She might think of herself as the most responsible child of the two families, but Bingo's cute little excitement was contagious, and there was no way that Annette was going to say no to her.

She allowed Bingo to lead her by the paw over to the games, casting an appraising eye across them.

she's not expecting to see him again, a silly thought considering how small this town really is. it might be one of the consequences of her self imposed isolation, it makes the outside world seem a lot bigger than it is. at least here in haddonfield. and now, dani's once again away from the comfort of her childhood home's walls. and once again, she's run into corey cunningham. well, those aren't exactly the words to use. hands clasp together, fingers nervously weaving about each other as she takes in what exactly she's seeing. sure he said people asked all sorts of questions and while, in that moment she had a sneaking suspicion he was underplaying things, she's not entirely prepared for the sight in front of her. a trio of teens looking to pick on whoever crosses their path, giving the brunet a much harder time than he deserves. and everyone else just minding their business, going about their lives as if they couldn't care less about what's going on. and at first, part of her thinks she should just follow suit.

but her conscience keeps her there, pushes her to plan on doing something because she can't just stand there. and there's no chance she's just gonna walk away. so she steels herself, one breath in, then it's all a blur, over as soon as it began-- confrontation has never been a strong suit, she'd rather put her head down, turn the other way, disappear into her mind and get lost in daydreams. she was that ardor sister. meek, small, needy, and always, always afraid. the one who always needed protecting, never the one people came to for help. none of that matters though, it's not about her. so before she can get lost down the rabbit hole of her own thoughts, she's made her way to him, careful not to come off too strongly. she's sure she's overstepped enough. it's not hard to guess why she thinks she'll be brushed off which is why she's caught as off guard as she is when she's not.

i didn't want all this trouble.

and there, she's able to get a peek into his true feelings. and there, in that moment, she understands. a sigh leaves her lips, her eyes moving from his, ❝ i never really get why people go so out of their way to just be total jerks, ❞ and at once, her hands are clasped back together, nervous habit in full swing, ❝ it's like they don't really have lives of their own to focus on. i'd say looking inward would do them some good, but.. i don't know, i really don't think that'd be the case. ❞ she's chalking her rambles up to the adrenaline from her encounter, there's no doubt in her mind she'll crash at any moment, go back to normal, mousy self. but until then, ❝ this might be awkward, but i have a feeling they're not done leaving you alone. i could like give you a ride or if you're hungry, we can get food. i just.. i know myself and i'll be stressing which is kind of dumb 'cause i don't really know you. anyway, you can say no. i just wanted to offer is all. ❞

since I’ve been talking shit the last....two weeks let’s throw some verse things out and rewrite the last two seasons because what I am NOT doing is acknowledging this D&D fuckery:

Daenerys makes the decision to go Westeros with the intention of overthrowing Cersei Lannister and restoring the Targaryen Dynasty

She ignores Tyrion, goes directly to KL and forces Cersei to surrender. 

Cersei’s life is spared, but she is banished to Essos never to return to Westeros (Dany allies herself for Doran Martell who is fucking alive fuck what you heard to keep track of Cersei’s movements in the East)

Jon Snow, King of the North comes to KL to meet the Targaryen Queen and requested her assistance against the NK. 

Daenerys gives Jon access to the dragon glass mines underneath the castle of Dragonstone and the Unsullied under Grey Worm’s command; Dany travels throughout the rest of Westeros to meet the people and vows to improve their lives.

 Tyrion and Missandei stay in KL to oversee the necessary repairs of the city as well as reaffirming diplomatic ties to Kingdoms to the East

Tyrion receives word that Jon is having trouble beyond the Wall (The Unsullied are currently in Winterfell preparing for the NK’s invasion with Sansa, Arya and the rest of the Northern Lords).

Jorah and the Dothraki continue Dany’s mission in her absence and are instructed not to kill civilians. Any Lord that did not submit to Targaryen authority are killed. 

 Daenerys saves Jon and his company, but Visiserion is killed in the process. 

They all return to Winterfell to regroup and join in the preparation of the impending battle. 

Daenerys and Jon develop a close bond and eventually fall in love. Dany vows to defeat the Night King and Jon pledges his loyalty to her. 

Jorah and the Dothraki make their way to the North to join Dany, her dragons and the Unsullied. 

The Battle of Winterfell end a bloody stalemate, but the Night King is defeated and the Northerners are grateful for the scarifies their New Queen has made on their behalf (half of the Dothraki and Unsullied are killed in the conflict as well as Jorah). 

To solidify the alliance of House Targaryen and Stark, Jon and Daenerys marry. Sansa Stark becomes wardress of the North and Arya serves in the Queensguard.  

The new capital of Westeros is relocated to Dragonstone.

Daenerys and Jon have two children: Robbaerys and Lyannera Targaryen.

AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER THE END

ㅤㅤㅤDani stands at the kitchen's stove, a cast iron skillet bubbling with hot oil on the range's open flame. On the counter beside her sit a tidy row of portioned dough, shaped into flattened rounds. Despite the array (and the waiting skillet), her eyes are on Clarice.

ㅤㅤㅤThere's much Moonstar doesn't know about the Exile Blink, but she bears a sense of the other mutant that is... not unfamiliar. If Dani's being honest, something about Clarice reminds her of Illyana. She takes care not to let her powers even brush against Blink's mind, knowing instinctively the amount of harm something like that could do...

ㅤㅤㅤ"I understand you've endured many trials, seen many worlds..." Mirage comments, her head tipping, "...something like that can make a person feel adrift in their own reality. Forget the roots of who they are..."

ㅤㅤㅤPicking up one of the rounds of dough with her bare fingers, Dani stretches in a rotating motion before placing it in the skillet, the oil hissing and spitting as she does so. She seems unbothered by the flecks of hot oil leaving reddened marks on her wrists. Offering an understanding smile to Clarice, Moonstar asks, "Let's start with this: Do you like fry bread?

i'm sorry, but i'm lowkey looking forward to the bickering that's going to occur between dany, yung griff, and joncon?? yung griff is gonna talk about all the skills he picked up while living on the boat, surrounded by people who were all devoted to him, cared for him, and taught him. he's going to try his best to impress her. and dany's just gonna tilt her head to the side and tell him that while he was playing prince, she was dodging assassination attempts, crushing her enemies, conquering, and actually ruling (and fulfilling prophecies).
