I took a couple days off because my body was perishing (read: my uterus was being a little bitch) but I am back :D

Poor Madeleine! I definitely didn't expect any of this from the teasers! A VESPA! Claudia to the rescue! (^0^)

This was so tender and sweet and adorably morbid.

*sounds of a movie starting in a movie theater*

[Reader] sat in camp, bouncing their leg in worry. The chain had run off to deal with nearby monsters starting to make a camp, and as [Reader] couldn't fight, was told to stay and watch camp. It was dark and quiet, leaving the trickster board. Normally, they would be putting sticks in Legend's bag, or turning Wind's shirts inside out to start prank wars or trying to play one of the many instruments in the camp. But these things left [Reader]. . . board. Instead, their eyes wondered to Time's bag.

[Reader] had an ability to hear the whispering of spirits, which came in very useful when it came to puzzles or gossip stones, as well as hearing the warning whispering from the dead when an enemy camp was nearby, or stray monsters were around. But recently, a more frequent, malicious voice filled their ears.

A few days earlier, when the chain had been sharing stories and joking, they got around to showing off a collection of masks. One stood out ro [Reader], the one with the massive eyes. 'Majora's Mask' as Wild called it. Time seemed a bit alarmed seeing it at first, however started to explain a small snippet of the story behind it. But the whisper it started to say after everyone went to sleep. . .

it had been whispering nonstop and for some unknown reason, Time had decided ro keep it on him. Except for now. And [Reader] stared transfixed into the yellow eyes of the mask. They stood, and slowly walked over to it, slowly taking the mask in hand and raising it up. "What is bothering you?" they muttered.

Spirits often came to reader to help resolve woes and pain to pass on, and instinctively she wanted to help the spirit in the mask move on. But something. . . wasn't right.

Suddenly, a sharp pain set on their arm and looking, [Reader] saw tendrils stab their arm as the mask moved, a shrill laughter emitting from it as it floated to [Reader]'s face. They let out a screech as they faught it, trying to get the cursed item off as the sounds of thundering footsteps were heard, and before the mask slammed onto [Reader]'s face, they saw Time's horrified face before Majora glued itself to [Reader]

"[Reader]!" Time exclaimed, shoving an arm out infront of sky who was instinctively about to run to their aid. "Don't move!"

[Reader]'s arms went limp at their sides and head slowly looked up, before slowly turning to Time, and an erie, familiar laughter filled the air. . .

Time woke up in a start, shooting up from his bag in a cold sweat. It was dark out, the fire crackling and the chain asleep around them, except for Twilight who was up keeping watch. "Old man? You alright?"

He huffed and ran a hand through his hair before nodding. "Yes, just. . ." his eyes looked towards [Reader] who was sound asleep next to a snoring wind, then to the empty mask of Majora layed on Wild's bag. "Just a bad dream"

Oh snap! You had me going until the end there. I really thought they were going to try and fight Reader at the end.

I was wondering about the mask and why it was strange considering the backstory but dang- I didn't even account for the fact that Wild would be the one to technically have it, not Time. Should have been ringing some bells in my head, but they weren't going off.

Thoughts about Ninjago DR S2 episodes 14-15:

Oh God, that whole scene of Wyldfyre talking to Roby was CRINGE!! What have they done to her?? Listen, I'm a defender of the straight ships in this show despite some people in the fandom saying they're badly written, I think Jaya, Pixane and Kailor are all adorable, and I'm not against the idea of Wyldfyre getting a boyfriend, though I don't think she needs one... but so far it seems all they're doing with this ship is actively TRYING to give the fandom a badly written straight ship, because COME ON! Who is this person acting all silly and awkward and simpering for this shady salesman guy?? Cause that ain't Wyldfyre! I'm not discounting the possibility that this could grow into a good ship with more time, but this is a really bad and forced start, probably the worst out of any in this show.

It really seems like they're planning on retconning the whole "elemental powers are only passed on through family members" rule, cause I don't think that mech was Lilly's. I mean, we already knew Zane's powers weren't inherited of course... maybe they're finally going to explain that?? Now that would be something. (I won't hold out any hope for it though).

Oh, doi, of course Arin's friend's master is Ras, I'm an idiot. And yes I already forgot his actual name because it's stupid, I had trouble even hearing it right in the previous episodes.

Nya has both Kai and Jay's pictures put up like they're dead asdfjkh

I already ranted in a separate post about Zane, but seriously: what the actual FRICK is the writers' problem with Zane?!?!

Ok, trying for some more coherent thoughts about iwtv s2e7 behind the read more (spoilers, obviously):

You know shit's about to go down when basically all of s1 is in the recap

Santiago the little shit is loving this. Oh Ben Daniels is so perfect.

Dang, Sam Reid, you have no right to look this good (his hair's on point, this can't actually be Louis' POV LOL xD). Also, Lestat looks so very pissed off when he comes on stage. Doesn't want to be there, indeed.

"He was as much of a captive as we were." uh-huh, sure, Jan. Come on, Louis, you don't really believe that?

And Armand can go "I couldn't prevent it" all he wants, he definitely could have prevented it at any stage before they were actually on the stage and maybe even when the play already started. He was the coven master and could have legally put Santiago down for the mutiny he was brewing, which Armand was very aware of. But he didn't.

So those theorising they'd make Lestat's first dirt nap longer to account for the time changes were right. He did really nap like 100 years before Marius dug him back up.

Oooooh Lestat /hates/ Santiago.

Santiago and vampire Sam trying way too hard to make Louis look like a predator with their little play about Louis hunting Lestat instead. Pff, boys, no one would ever buy that.

Lestat moves like a wind up toy sometimes, or maybe I'm imagining things, but once again, the acting from everyone in this episode is so, so good. Give everyone involved in this show all the awards!

Lestat tearing down that homophobic soldier is *chef's kiss* but also, if he was strong enough to get himself up there and back down so quickly, read his mind, and later get into the mind of the guy with his loneliness, how are we supposed to believe he's weak and being controlled/forced to do this play? Over all I don't see how they'll do the whole "Lestat came to beg Armand for his blood to get healed" thing with Lestat not being all that bad off, in the end.

Santiago fumbling his lines xD

I'd say with the revisited flash backs to Claudia's turning and to the fight in s1e5 the truth lies somewhere between the two accounts. Louis said the trial's retelling of Claudia's turning was more right, sure, but as with all eye witness accounts, they are never 100% true. So yeah, somewhere between the accounts lies the truth.

LOL Real Rashid's entrance there is so good. We needed something to break all that tension. Thank you, Real Rashid, I hope they don't eat you for it xD (or, you know, for being a Talamasca spy in their home...)

See, i said it, Lestat looking damn near pristine all through that fight in s1e5 was a hint. No one looks that good after crashing through walls. They fought, because rage had been simmering for 7 years and it finally boiled over. They beat each other up and Lestat went too far. Now can we finally stop having the same discourse over this thing again and again and again? (Also I just love the foresight in this show, how they showed us the dent in Louis' coffin in s1 but we only get an explanation for it in s2. Awards, for every last person working on this show, now!)

Lestat's talk about how he broke Louis: Sam Reid, the actor you are. Dang, so good.

"One more round in the stormy romance of you two!" You tell them, Claudia. Oh girl, you deserved so much better.

So was Louis aiming that cup of blood at Armand or at the wall? Because Armand definitely had to move out of the way at least a little.

I do wonder, did they make sure Madeleine was so out of it for most of the trial because they hoped she'd stay with the coven if she didn't have much of an idea what was going on? Or did they do the same thing to her as to Louis and Claudia and she was just more susceptible because she's weaker?

Her choosing Claudia again, even if it means death, is all Claudia ever wanted. Dang, these bi ladies are giving me all the feels.

Claudia telling the audience she's gonna go full on murder ghost on all their arses: iconic. Also you can't tell me Lestat didn't look proud as hell right there. That's his daughter, never going down without a fight, never giving in.

Claudia and Madeleine in the sun is so heartbreaking :( Claudia holding Madeleine like movie!Madeleine held movie!Claudia. Ladies, you deserved better. Fuck these vampires.

And Louis, in that rock filled coffin, feeling them both die :( Claudia because he can read her mind, and Madeleine because he made her. (And they helpfully labelled the fucking door so Armand will know which one to pull Louis out of when he "rescues" him.....)

Can not wait for Louis to go full on Blade on the coven's collective arses next episode.

Neither versions of the characters want to reveal information that could affect the others timelines/relationships too badly, but there's still slip ups...

Especially when the kids are causing havoc around the different Shadowpeach couples.

*Both shadowpeaches are sitting around on FFM. The different kids are play-fighting* Canon!SWK: "So wait, you guys got turned mortal because of some comet?" Au!SWK: "Yeah, its a long story, and we don't wanna give away too much that could like derail your universe." Canon!Macaque: "I think we can handle some interdimensional mayhem." Au!Macaque: "Ok, so it started-" *notices the kids playing a bit too roughly. Mom-voice activates* "QI XIAOTIAN AND LONG XIAOJIAO! You stop fighting like animals this instant!" Canon Shadowpeach are def a little uncomfortable around, but envious of the Au married couple. Au Wukong and Macaque are very affectionate and have been reconciled for some time. Combined with an odd number of baby Mystic Monkeys around the alternate household, and the canon monkeys have a lot of questions.

Canon!Macaque, helping clean up dinner: "Soooo... when you meant forgive, you and your Wukong sorta...?" Au!Macaque, washing dishes: "Yeah. *Stuff* happened." Canon!Macaque: "In this context; *stuff* meaning your MK?" Au!Macaque: "Yep." Canon!Macaque: "Dang. One more question." Au!Macaque: "Go ahead." Canon!Macaque: "In making your MK, did you and Wukong ba-" Au!Macaque, face bright red: "Not where the kids can hear!! The twins have our ears!" Canon!Macaque, chuckling: "Ok then. I'll take that as a yes." Au!Macaque, still a little flustered: "It involved the comet. Thats all I'm gonna say." Canon!Macaque: "...what??"

Overall everyone is left very confused but with a fresh perspective on things.

Canon Pigsy is jealous that his au counterpart has more employees other than MK (au Wukong and Nezha). Both Tangs are just infodumping with eachother, while the Sandys are drinking tea.

The ones with the biggest shocks I imagine would be the canon kids tho, especially Nezha.

Canon!Nezha: "You look... rougher than me." Au!Nezha, unsurprised: "I imagine that you're still guarding the Map?" Canon!Nezha: "Ehh... not anymore. Wukong stole it." Au!Nezha: "Hmph. And they still let you stay in the Celestial Realm?" Canon!Nezha: "Yes? Why wouldn't they?" Au!Nezha, getting more quiet: "They didn't show me such generosity twenty years ago."

Both Nezhas end up chilling for a while. Canon Nezha is left uneasy after the encounter.

i don't remember a whole lot about the actual story but it's a princess and knight story where they technically can't be together without one sacrificing something for the other and also there's a twin brother story that doesn't really go anywhere?? a lot of potential for my favorite thing (tragic siblings) ALSO consider: sooner childhood friends to lovers ???? HELLO???? ITS!!! ABOUT!!!! THE YEARNING!!!!!

nico's route

so for this one i would switch up things a bit, it's sorta an AU where the MC accidentally becomes the cinderella bc everyone thought she was someone else and she gets in too deep that she's afraid to reveal the truth. she discovers that nico is a spy for that other country!! she doesn't immediately rat him out bc she understands what having a possibly life-threatening secret is like, she just uses it as a way to make him do whatever she wants THEN he finds out she's an imposter so they keep each other's secrets to save their own asses... u know what this needs? enemies to friends to lovers… they grow from inherently hating each other to understanding each other and even tho the way they did it in the game was trash, i did want to use kidnapping as a plot device bc ofc who doesn't love a little damsel in distress every now and then lmao

Still one of my favorites and finally posting it, also the first ever spoodermoff drawing I did. Which... is so dang funny because boi don’t Indrel look a bit weird there huh? XD

So big purple moff Indrel dies of old age at the end of Act I, but not before giving his spoodery partner a way to track him through his future lifetimes. Yea we goin the reincarnation route with this one and boi is it a ride. So Indrel went from massive Death’s Head/Vampire moff to tiny 5ft Silver Royal butterfly known as Meeko. Now Meeko wasn’t Indrel’s second life but in fact a few lifetimes down the line, however he’s been the most notable one so far because... trauma! :D

Yeah let’s just say he rolled really bad on the parents bingo in this one. :’)

So this is very much the sad boi timeline, but I will get more into that one later. But it is iconic due to its heaviness and being the life where Indrel remembered his true self and Atrax very early on and continued that trend into the future lives. It’s also what fully cemented his devotion to the spider as well as started in motion the events leading to the third act.

It was a very interesting lifetime for sure as it served as a great character study for both of em and completely flipped their dynamic for a while. No wonder that me and @ulqlume both made our first spoodermoff art be related to this lifetime. XD

Funniest thing with memory issues is that I have had them what feels like my whole life and I forget that my memory is weird (I remember facts and interest WAY better than experiences. I do not have any day to day memories of 3 years ago, let alone who what i was doing in grade 5. Whatever blurs together in chunks).

It's like I didn't even live my own life. and then the existensial dread hits And maybe that's why it's tricky for me to remember who and what I am as a person, I have no basics to build it from except what is in front of me right now xD and i forget what i already built so DANG it! xD

I thought my memory was normal until I kept reading how people were describing lots of things from their childhood and pretty connected and detailed!! When they were answering poll questions about something very specific, especially the 'when' ones. I keep wondering 'Do you really remember it????'

I have so little memories, I can be prompted to remember something(unless what I remembered didn't actually happen, I have at least one clear not-memory), but 'when' questions NEVER work. I can never remember when something happened, I can barely be sure if I was a kid or a teen half the time. My past is practically blank. I don't feel anything about the things I somewhat remember. It's annoying when you try like, self-diagnose yourself and stuff.

And feels like my memory is getting worse. Like. I feel like I was able to remember at least more recent things? Not to mention general everyday-life clumsiness.

But nah, it's swallowed by abyss xD
