The room where the cyclops and his tv girlfriend are sleeping is feeling, well, let’s just say, a bit ominous for a lovely sleepy reapers. The room is messy, nothing but little dust bunnies and spiders web everywhere. Reaper Tisha usually cleans the room from time to time though, but specks are faster than her cleaning the ichor trail Finn left. But that didn’t stop Vee and Sprout cuddling nicely, hand on torso, purring. Sprout seems contentful when he’s hugging his girlfriend from behind, so does the TV. Her mind is still wondering about the survivors, but now, with her boyfriend just clenching her back, she felt assured that they were safe from now on. Just as she turns around to tuck underneath the cyclops’  neck- -KNOCK, KNOCK The Dandelion has arrived, asking “Hey, uh, Vee? Can you open the door? I just want to give you something in command,” . Hmm? What’s up with Dandy waking us up in the middle of the night? Thought the Vee. She quickly stood up, then patted her boyfriend. He purred contently. She strode off and opened the door. It’s Dandy. He twiddles his fingers, apparently too shy to speak, but manages to add, “I know it’s late, but, I’m gonna ask you, ummm, a favor?” Vee tilts her head. “Well, we’re gonna have a meeting about Miss Delilah coming here, so could you remind the, uhh, Reapers, about this?” … No response. “Please, Vee, I can fix this mess, I promise you and Sprout, Miss Delilah can come and extract the parasites out of you.” Dandy pleaded. … No response. “Look, I understand you’re mad at me, but please, we can be like the past, y’know? I just don’t want to see you guys like this.”  His voice is choked with tears. Yes, I’ll tell them right now, thought Vee and she nods her head, promptly. The dandelion is surprised to see a TV following his order and hugs her legs. “Thank you Vee, you’re now acting like a normal toons.” He whimpered with a smiley face. It looks depressing to watch her friend to Be in tears but she has no other options.

*** -Creak. “Hmm?”  Vee foretold to Shelly’s cage. Here, it’s a bit in disarray. The ichor is smudged from the bowl, loud crunching noises can be heard in the distance. “Sh-she-shell?”  The Television muttered, but this got the attention of a hyper fossil. She rushed towards Vee, her feathered pterodactyl host wagging its tail like a happy dog meeting its owner. “GRAH!” She roared loudly. Vee pets her skull dino head and sighs contently. Shelly purred. The shell then goes around the TV and nudges her dagger-like claws. “Hehe…” Then, She remembers why she’s here. “Shell…. Dandy… Meeting… after… run” stuttered the ruined TV. “Mrrmm?” The ammonite questioned. “Meeting….” “Mrawr?” … A lightbulb has lit on Shelly. “MRAH!” = “SO THIS MEANS THAT WE CAN TALK ABOUT DINOS?!” “...Uhh” = “Shelly? I don’t think we can talk about dinos at meeting” “Oh” “Don’t.. Dinosaur… we can… be… together” She glitched out the words, but the ammonite could understand what she was saying. “Mmmmrrrrrr.” “Hehe,” *** “Hey,” Vee responded on Tsumugi, the aggressive thread that hates her circuits. It’s unknown why the thread starts hating on her boss. Before this happens, she and Vee had a great relationship as a boss and worker. But now, Mugi growled whenever she wants to comfort her. Maybe she missed her Boyfriend, thought Vee. “Hmm?!” “Meet-” Before she could finish her sentence, Mugi slammed the door in front of her screen, leaving Vee speechless at the attitude.

*** KNOCK KNOCK “Astro?” Vee asked their Bat-sheep moon reaper. Astro’s a nocturnal reaper, meaning he’s active at night to hunt for flesh. Dandy locked him in his room when the survivors didn’t do their run. But he didn’t open the door or mutter something. “Astro?” Vee repeated and started opening the door. The bat is gone for the flesh. … Astro?

Ibara: Although His Excellency’s lexicon is indeed complex, the ideas that he’s trying to express are simple and straightforward. So long as you analyse and interpret his words correctly, you’ll at least be able to get the gist of it.

Madara: Looks like we’ve gone off track. Say, does the other half of Eden know what you two are getting up to?

Ibara: No. I’m doing this for the sake of my own self-satisfaction, so I didn’t plan on getting His Highness or Jun involved.

My confrontation with the Godfather is simply an item on my personal agenda; I didn’t wish to have His Excellency involved either.

Nagisa: …You tried to leave me behind in Kyushu, Ibara.

Ibara: Kyushu is relatively safe. I used every possible means to rid the area of people under the Godfather’s patronage.

If worse comes to worse and I suffer a crushing defeat, having you stay there would at least ensure that the overall damage is minimized. You could simply throw me to the wolves — I’d be absolutely fine with that.

Nagisa: …You almost sound like Tsumugi-kun. But don’t you know that there’s no Eden without you?

Ibara: Hm? His Majesty Tsumugi? I have a feeling that, if I were to chat with him over tea now, I’d actually be able to enjoy myself.

Putting that aside, although we’re calling this a battle against the Godfather, the man himself has already passed.

Madara: Hahaha. ‘Course, things aren’t all fine and dandy just ‘cause the final boss got taken down.

Ibara: That’s correct. We still have to deal with the people who are misusing the Godfather’s existence to corrupt the world…

The ghosts of the past who are obstructing our business.

Although I used the plural form of ghosts, the primary offender is a single individual: my great-uncle. If the worst case scenario happens, simply removing him from the playing field would be a great accomplishment.

Madara: Your great uncle… the Gatekeeper, huh? What’s his deal? I heard that he’s your relative, but is Gatekeeper really his name?

Nagisa: …My father, the man you know as the Godfather, had three close confidants.

…He called them the Gatekeeper, the Priest, and the Apostle.

Madara: Three big baddies, huh? Hahaha, this kinda feels like a tokusatsu show! So that’s the Gatekeeper you’ve been talking about? [2]

Nagisa: …Yes. In the end, Father simply referred to him as the Gatekeeper, so even I am unsure as to his true name. I’m afraid that I’m unaware of his background and his personal circumstances as well.

1. Jizo statues are made in the image of Jizo Bosatsu, the guardian deity of children and travelers. They're said to have a spiritual power are considered sacred.

2. In the previous line, Nagisa refers to the Gatekeper as 門番 (monban) which means "gatekeeper" as well. However, he is usually referred to as ゲートキーパー (geetokiipaa), so Madara specifies in this line that they are the same.

Spring troupe:

Sakuya: He's always busy. Sakuya can never seem to make it to your dates. He either had a shift that day, or have theatre practice. He's of course extremely apologetic, but the last straw was when he canceled your date the 5th time that month.

Masumi: he asked you to marry him the second you sat down on the chair. To make matters worse, he kept on rambling on about your future children and how you're gonna be such a wonderful parent to his children.

Tsuzuru: He actually showed up. But you see, he brought his younger Brothers. Now, you don't mind if your dates don't have any babysitters to take care of their siblings, but homeboy really pulled up with 5 little kids expecting you to be over the world.

Citron: Everything was going fine. Fine until Citron scared the living crap out of you and pulled you into a dark alleyway. You asked what was wrong and he told you to quiet down. After a few minutes, he gave you the ok to exit the alleyway. Least to say, you were scared out of your mind and never went on a date with Citron again.

Itaru: When he took you home, his room was a mess. Now, your room is prone to be a little messy once and a while, but homie got empty energy drink cans on the floor, alongside some weird stains on the carpet floor.

Chikage: He either A. Stood you up, or B. Kept on telling lies. Like first, you thought his uncle John was part of some drug ring but now, the same uncle is 69 years old and he's the president of some Country named chad.

Summer troupe:

Tenma: literally the two of you were surrounded by body guards all day. There's nothing romantic about being in a swarm of 30+ sweaty buff men.

Kazunari: He's actually really fun and charming! But the thing is, people kept on interrupting. Kazunari told you they were people whom he met from parties, but honestly, the "date" felt like a meet and greet.

Misumi: He's too much. Misumi decided to take you out to the Park. He somehow managed to get on top of a 10 foot tree and got upset by the fact that you didnt want to get on the tree and search for triangles with him.

Banri: everything was going fine until you guys accidentally met some guys Banri beat up a few months ago. The dudes smacked your popcorn and drink out of your hand. Banri was way more enraged than you were over the popcorn, and he instantly started punching the dudes and told you to go home.

Juza: everything was going fine and dandy, until the two of you walked out the movie theater just to be ambushed by some wannabe gangsters. Juza told you to run and you never went on a second date.

Taichi: he's a good dude, but boy, does he talk your ear off about wanting to meet his one true love one day, and that's all he talks about. Of course, you try to change the subject but it always goes back to Taichi talking about his one true love.

Omi:Honestly? Who wouldn't want to date him? He's a good guy, he can cook and bake for crying out loud! But the thing is, he's also seen as a parental figure towards the minors of the theatre company. And you aren't sure you're willing to become a guardian for 10+ minors.

Sakyo:He's smart, but boy, is he dense. You tried flirting with him on your date and instead of him laughing, the two of you sat in complete silence. It honestly felt as if at any given moment sakyo would've crucify you, but the silence and awkwardness was too much for him and he left.

Winter troupe:

Tsumugi: he's a rad dude, but he's nonconfrontational. The waiter accidently overcharged you by 50 bucks and instead of telling the waiter, Tsumugi pulled out his wallet and gave you 50 bucks and begged you to not confront the waiter.

Tasuku: his ideal date is to spend time at the gym. You were of course caught off guard because who the hell has their first date at a gym? It didn't help much that Tasuku was expecting you to bench press 50 lbs.

Azuma:Just like Kazunari, he's pretty suave but the thing that killed the mood was when random old people started to interrupt your date. And now, sitting across you is Azuma and three older women who are being touchy with Azuma.

Hisoka: he fell asleep doing the date... three times. You can literally be talking about the most interesting thing and Hisoka just falls asleep the second you start talking. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if he never showed up because he was too busy taking a nap.

Homare: he does all the talking. He literally won't shut up about whatever he's talking about and makes a "wonderful" poem about it. You nodded in agreement and left the second you got the chance.

Guy: He doesn't have any opinions. He just nods his head and agrees with everything you say. Like you can quite literally say,"Cereal goes in before the milk." And he'll still agree, even if you know that your statement is wrong.
