this is an older hc but fuck it

dandy is a HEAVY people pleaser bc of how delilah and arthur 'conditioned' him to act [toons in my au are biomechanical they have brains and coding. uh coded personalities. which work in tandem with personalities they develop themselves but thats a shpiel for another ask]

it got bad to the point where gardenview had to put in mandatory breaktimes for him because dandy would. never ask for one. he could be dizzy from tiredness, feeling really shitty, hasnt-eaten-a-thing-since-yesterday levels of hunger, but hed be too scared to disappoint anyone to ask for a minute off air or a minute away from guests so he learned how to hide discomfort behind a smile and a little jig and its worked so far!

gardenviews financial situation changed that but i dont want this to get deleted so i might share that later

This feels like a thing I would do, which really does make sense given who I am

I don’t like disappointing people but I always annoy them so I guess both irl version of me and dandy version of me can relate

I’ll tell you more about the au… it’ll be labeled Helios planet/swap au due to helio technically owning the show with guigui, it’s just helio is literally THEE favorite toon (of the au) yada yada I’ll write all this lore down eventually

So obviously this au isn’t going to be labeled opposite au anymore and just a swap au because they don’t really fall under “opposites” anymore besides helio I love you helio…..

This au will be heavily inspired by like those mlp infection aus because I love them and I love creepy stuff…. More stuff will be made regarding lore!!!! And JSUT to clarify

THE TOONS CANONICALLY (au wise) DO NOT HAVE CONFORMED RACES‼️‼️‼️ — I get uncomfortable upon race topics due to how easy it could be to like fuck up…. So I just tend to avoid them in general lolol… you’re free to head canon any one of these babs with whatever race you have in mind though, they’re all adults besides puddles and klay, klay is a kitten a baby awww….

Random lore drop, but the reason why the Dandy show was cancelled and discontinued is because the animation studio was accused of being a secret cult and people started believing that the show was sending subliminal messages to kids. The studio had to shut down and the toons were abandoned in order to disband the controversy
