In the picturesque coastal town of Fortaleza, Brazil, life went on with the vibrant energy and the city pulse. Dandara, a gentle and kind trans woman, lived a quiet existence. However, fate took a dark turn one day when a group of young boys crossed her path.

In a heartbreaking display of cruelty, they captured her on film, subjecting her to a barrage of attacks from every angle. With bare hands, relentless kicks, and makeshift weapons, they inflicted pain upon her fragile body. Dandara, overwhelmed and unable to walk, found herself at the mercy of their torment. As she pleaded for her life, her battered body drenched in blood, the boys performed even more degrading actions. In an act of finality, they transported her emancipated body in a wheelbarrow and drove her into a shadowed alley, putting an end to her short life.

Yet, even in the face of such unspeakable brutality, Dandara's spirit remained indomitable. On her last day, she wore a vibrant yellow t-shirt, a symbol of her resilience and inner strength. As blood stained her face, she found solace in the fabric, gently wiping away the evidence of her suffering. Today, that very t-shirt hangs on a clothesline, swaying in the gentle breeze by the palm trees that line the sun-kissed coast.

Let us forever remember Dandara as a beacon of compassion and acceptance. Though her life was tragically cut short, she is leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts of those who knew her and the countless others who carry her memory.

Dandara lived to be 42 years old.

DANDARA este viernes en vivo en Camping BA!

La cantautora y actriz sanjuanina Dandara anunció su próximo show en Buenos Aires en formato full band. Tras el exitoso lanzamiento de su último single "Mi condena", Dandara inaugura el patio de Camping BA con un show junto a Luna Suarez, el próximo viernes 6 de septiembre.

DANDARA es una cantautora y actriz, criada en la Provincia de San Juan, que reside actualmente en Buenos Aires.

En 2022 participa en el reality televisivo “La Voz Argentina”, donde tuvo un largo recorrido. Ya en 2023 publica su primer sencillo “PHONE”. La música está llena de historias que merecen ser contadas, y la de DANDARA es una de ellas.

La joven cantante e instrumentista que sorprendió a todos en su paso por "La Voz Argentina" no es solo una promesa, ya está en la escena musical argentina desde 2023 con sus 2 singles “MOVIMIENTO”, con la participación de Brapis y “CUANDO ME CANSE DE MÍ”, junto a Urbanse y su primer álbum “FEELINGS” junto al reconocido productor Veeyam (ACRU. Kamada, YSY A, Urbanse).

En 2024 llega con el single “CICATRICES” con la participación de Soui Uno: el track tiene un resonado éxito, siendo destacado e incluido en las playlists de Spotify, como “NOVEDADES VIERNES CONO SUR”, “PIOLA”, “FLOW AL SUR”, “POP TRANQUI”, “FRESH FINDS LATIN” y “EQUAL Argentina”.

Recientemente lanzó “Tu Velocidad”, que fue parte del ciclo “KASSET SESSIONS”, dándole mayor visibilidad en YouTube y "Mi Condena" junto al productor Cieloazul.
