just started watching disventure camp today (finally) and I’m already on ep 6. I have (out loud) made the “you a baby quit cussing” joke like. Every single episode at least once. I have SO MUCH to talk about..

I just listened and it really just came across as this older gen x Australian radio host who would have had absolutely NO idea who they were prior to that interview as you'd expect, just talking and assuming what most people would assume. Like they literally bring up the marriage conspiracy in their own show bc it's so popular amongst even their fans? I don't think there was any ill will from this guy, he's just an aussie guy in Adelaide who sounds like he might put his foot in his mouth unintentionally sometimes you know???

most people are being chill about it and finding it funny but a few are legitimately upset with that radio host and god this is the fourth time i'm writing this because it keeps coming off really preachy and annoying but um. perhaps we as a fandom need to stop assuming everyone's out to get dan and phil, you know? not everyone has bad or selfish intentions, sometimes they're just misinformed, and that's okay. i think we should keep in mind that they've been asked couple-y questions several times during this tour and the only person they told to fuck off was the guy who basically went "i know you've said you don't want to talk about it but can you talk about it anyway". dan and phil are obviously aware of how they appear to the general public, i very much doubt they're upset with anyone for adding two and two together and getting four. sure you could argue poor research, but short promotional interviews for a tour are generally pretty surface level, and if you do surface level research on dan and phil what the hell else are you supposed to think is going on?

A question he never really pondered before. The life of a Nameless was not one that included much leisure time, or a truly extended amount of time to form bonds of that intensity that such an event could be led up to. Memories in the form of dreams had long since been something he experienced on a semi regular basis, showing him days past of his previous incarnation spending intimate time alone with a man who clearly meant a certain way to him that no one else in his inner circle did, a man he was clearly in love with.

But those days for Dan Feng were not those of him in the present, and though Dan Heng had met many people during his time with the Express who had become allies for the Nameless, none had yet left such an impression on the Vidyadhara that he felt such a thing could be possible for him. The shrug of the noirs shoulders was so slight it could have been missed, the expression on his face not conveying much of a reaction when there wasn't much for him to say.

"With my life currently the way it is, it is very unlikely that such a thing is in the cards for me. Traveling the cosmos as a Nameless is a constant, and setting down roots somewhere for a bond like that to be found with someone else doesn't seem very likely. That's not to say it's impossible, but my place right now is on the Express with my friends and it's not something I'm really prioritizing for myself."

GK!danny meets the JL and (due to magic users not being in the room) they offend him by threatening/patronising him or asking insensitive questions like how he died. Danny still wants some contact/alliance to help deal with the GIW, but doesn't wanna deal with mortal idiots rn. So he sends Dan in his place for his "community service" aka redemption arc.

Basically I really wanna see Dan dealing with the magically incompetent league and scare the shit out of them.

Bonus if Danny sends a letter along the lines of "Due to negative prior relations and differing priorities, all further communications will be conducted via my brother, as part of his mandatory community service. I advise against angering him, as he is on probation for genocide of a mortal realm. Good luck."

I just think it would be funny.
