Part 1 of 2 hopefully even though it never fucking turns out that way

Tarot Card reader Sydney who occasionally does readings, often as a trade - she’ll pull a few cards if the querent agrees to do her share of moving loot bags, or cooking for a day or two, or fitting attachments to her guns. 

As a practitioner, she doesn’t believe that the cards have fortune-telling abilities, nor that the reading is a ‘done deal’, preferring to instead see them as a form of self-care, a bit of fun and perhaps as a means of paying attention to different aspects of daily life.

She pulls a few cards for Dallas, and raises her brows.

“Knight of Cups... You seeing anyone?”

“No,” Dallas replies far too quickly. He clears his throat, shifts his position.

Sydney smirks to herself but doesn’t call him out on it. Files the information away for later. 

“... Well. You’re in a romantic mood, put it that way. Loving love. Loving being in love, or feeling love. Willing to share that love and give it freely to others.”

At that Dallas gives her an awkward grimace and immediately excuses himself, saying something about checking on something.

Some time later Hoxton wanders over, a bored expression on his face. Houston is busy doing something to the van, so he asks loudly, “Which of these cards tells me there’s a dickhead doing shoddy repair work on the van?”

“Fuck off,” comes Houston’s muffled response, in-between metallic clunking sounds.

Sydney smiles sweetly up at Hoxton - too sweetly. “Get me a few packs of ciggies. Those nice ones you get from England. And I’ll pull a few cards for you.”

Hoxton’s eyes narrow. “How many is ‘a few’, exactly?”

Sydney flashes him a grin. “Done deals with the devil before, eh?” She leans back, thinking about it. “... Three packs of 20?”

Hoxton considers it. Glances between the stack of cards and Sydney’s patient, expectant face. “Deal.” He whips out his phone, puts an order in. Shows her the order confirmation number, forwards the confirmation email to her.

One of the many things that had me sobbing in the show is how they made Zuko’s fleet the 41st division. Meaning the division he spoke up for, the division that earned him his scar, is the division he was assigned for his goose chase. Imagine how heartbreaking it is. AND THE TEAM DIDNT EVEN KNOW HE DID THAT FOR THEM. MY BOY WAS ALWAYS GOOD!!!

Dallas Liu is an amazing Zuko.

Like perfect vibes. He’s angry, he’s whiny, his voice cracks, he drew rage art of Aang and hung it on his wall right after meeting him, he disguised himself by wrapping a scarf over his eye, some random woman beat him up…

I’ve only seen three episodes and he’s perfect.
