ODA!!!!!! GIVE ME A GHOST POV OF ROGER AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!!!
Fr tho, Ghost Roger being a lil shit is a treat.
I can fuxking see Roger give Buggy the wiggly eyebrows on day when Crocodile and Mihawk are in the same room. (Maybe it was the first day those two subconsciously nicer to Buggy)
Coff coff ((They started to love the clown)) coff coff
Hell, Perona coming in with a letter to Mihawk from one of the spirits that asked for him specifically.
Mihawk: clown?
Buggy: hmn?
Mihawk: who is 'Ms.Rouge'?
Buggy : -choke-
Afterlife be dammed, she may have not raised Buggy, but Rouge loves him like her kin!
LITERALLY YES YOU GET ME
Also Roger just "eyy?? Eyyyy???????" Is fucking hysterical to me.
Buggy is blindsided when Crocodile drops off an extra cup of coffee at his desk, when Mihawk deposits a few snacks. He's pointedly not looking into Roger's Corner, something he has been doing for ages and will continue to do. It all comes to a head when someone offers Buggy a candy at a negotiation dinner and he's partway through unwrapping it when he hears three voices tell him to stop. Mihawk reaches out, Crocodile's sand whisks the little treat from his fingers to the other.
A quick glance reveals Roger still partially glaring at the other group but also giving considering glances to the quote unquote lieutenants.
Buggy is just confused.
"This brand is rather popular in the north blue," Mihawk remarks casually, turning the candy in his hand. He never once looks up from the wrapper - Buggy wonders what he's looking at or looking for. "They've been in business for decades now, despite the uproar some thirty one years ago."
The dealers avert their eyes, hesitant and stuttering timid agreements.
Mihawk continues. "Rather odd that they'd only list a partial ingredient list on their wares, wouldn't you think? They are marketed as a dynamic company, but their synthetic flavors are but mere facsimiles of the real deal - fakes built upon, more disgustingly, the lies they print on such foils." He flips the candy, dropping the little morsel onto a napkin so he can straighten the wrapping. "See, it even boasts to be free of common allergenic ingredients: peanut oil, dairy, fruit juices. That's the real ingenuity however."
Sharp golden eyes cut into the opposition.
"So long as a company is favored by those on high, they can skirt certain rules. They barely toe the line in the world government's book as is, but they are an infamous vendor in Marie Geoise. No peanut oil but still peanuts. No dairy, but traces of lactose. No fruit juices but concentrated extracts are certainly abundant. And all of their tropical lines contain a key ingredient. Did you know?"
Buggy very adamantly stomps down on the urge and need to blush and swoon as he watches Mihawk and Crocodile tear these people a new asshole over pineapple extract. Roger's approving nod and bouncing brows do NOT help the situation. Nor does Rouge's fond head pats and succinct "I approve, they're good for little bug."
Buggy is suffering.
<><><><><><><><><>
On the topic of Rouge, YEAH!!! She may have met Buggy after death, but she already loved him so much. She knew loving Roger meant stepping into an established family and she was very much okay with that! She knew Ace would have brothers and she would have step sons and not once did she hesitate. Roger was big, bold and loud - he loved with all he had and then some, even to disastrous results. She adored him. And she trusted him. He has a good sense of taste, after all.
So when she met Buggy the first time, she absolutely went into Mom Mode immediately. It was awkward and strange for a deal of time, and Buggy took a while to come around to her but Ms Rouge is his mom as much as Captain is his dad - it's a fact of life and he's long since lost the self consciousness of it all.
But hearing your boyfriend mention receiving a letter from your shared daughter who wrote it on behalf of your long dead mother, well.... weirder shit has happened but Buggy is a dramatic boy - it's his bit and he's committed to it.
Rouge's shovel talks are lowkey terrifying. She isn't as directly threatening as Roger. She's subtle, and observative, and she plots before springing her track. On that front, she may even be scarier than her husband.
And while she and Mihawk would absolutely get along well for their love of plants and gardening, they're equally likely to cross breed and make a lethal poison just because it "seemed interesting at the time".
((Bonus points of a semi related topic, sometimes Rouge sees so much of Roger in Buggy that she aches with it.
And sometimes Roger sees his wife in the movements and glint of his blue haired son's eyes.
Buggy's a product of both, for better or worse, and it's somehow incredible and horrible in equal measure))

Do you have any tips for eating kosher food when it's not easily available to you? It's slightly easier cause I don't eat meat but its very hard and I'd like help
To anyone who wants to eat kosher, my most important advice is to start slow. It's a process. If you cut out everything at once you will get overwhelmed and quit.
My first advice is to only eat things with a hechsher on it. Because you don't eat meat, it's already significantly easier for you. The problem is finding dairy with a hechsher, especially cheese. A lot of cheeses are made with rennet, which is a part of the animal we are forbidden to eat. This is why a lot of cheese chips and snacks aren't kosher, even if they seem like they should be (doritos were SO hard to let go of for me, and I'll never forgive Sunchips for removing their hechsher). A lot of foods also have non kosher dyes that were made with insect shells, the same with sodas. Additionally, checking produce for any bugs is always a good idea!!! Even produce in grocery chains are likely to contain little bugs. I promise once you start checking, you'll see them. So many products are full of chemicals that were created with non-kosher ingredients or in non-kosher facilities, so the best way to ensure you're not accidentally consuming them is to just eat hechsher products.
For people who do eat meat, however, you can still eat most fish because it's considered pareve. Chicken used to be in this category, though this was changed over time by rabbis who noticed that people began thinking of chicken as meat. The argument proposed is that the Torah says "Thou shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk," and since chickens don't produce milk, this prohibition does not apply. Rabbis would say that the spirit of the law means it does. It is up to you whether you want to agree with the rabbis about this. For me, when I first started keeping kosher, I would allow myself to eat chicken, before I slowly removed it from my diet to abide by the rabbinical ruling. I also think the spirit of the law should apply to eating eggs and chicken (though eggs are pareve) together, if we are prohibiting eating an animal with its potential child. But I'm not aware of any rabbis who have said this (but jews talk about everything so they're probably out there.)
Eating meat or cheese plant-based hechshered substitutes are also acceptable, depending on your movement. For me personally, I will eat hechshered meat substitutes, and this satiates my cravings for meat until I can get kosher meat. Gardein is a good brand, and so is Morning Star, and I'm sure other countries have their own brands. The argument against eating meat substitutes was that the appearance of an observant jew eating what looks to be a cheeseburger could cause other observant Jews to believe the laws around kashrut have changed, leading them to break kosher. This law made more sense back then, but now I'm not so convinced, but that's up to you to decide. Eventually, I see myself no longer eating meat substitutes once I live in an area with a kosher market, but for now this has to do.
Work your way up to waiting between meat and milk. The time varies, I've heard anything from one to eight hours.
Make sure to crack your eggs in a separate clear container to check for blood. It's not common, but it happens.
Eating vegan or vegetarian while you're out is a decent compromise in the beginning until you feel ready to let go of restaurants.
Lastly, have a little non-kosher food send off. Before you start your journey, eat your favorite non kosher food and then say goodbye to it forever, at least until you can find a way to make it kosher. Eating kosher is hard. But it's a reminder of the covenant between yourself and HaShem. When you eat kosher foods, the belief is that whatever animal was used in the making has now served a higher purpose.
If anyone else has tips on how to start keeping kosher, or ways that help you, feel free to share!

Smoothie: a very silly treatise
In my opinion, the perfect smoothie has 3 ingredients; these being bananas, milk, and spices. (Perhaps I should have said categories of ingredient!) I have several thoughts to share on this:
1. The equipment. There are many ways to process foods into a mush, and some are marketed specifically for use in smoothification! My personal choice, however, is a stick mixer. It does the job and it's handy for sauces and soups also. In terms of container; I use a tall, cylindrical plastic container (jug? vase? I'm not sure. It's food safe, anyway) with a diameter of about 8cm. If you use a different one, you might end up with more or less milk than I use - but my measuring methods are vague and not particularly repeatable and frankly, who cares.
2. The bananas. Bananas used for smoothie should be bordering on over-ripe. Ideally, they should be past the point where you don't want to take them for lunch (because you know they have insufficient structural integrity to survive your bag); but before the point where you put them in the freezer, thinking (optimistically) that one day they will be used for banana bread. Their role is to provide sweetness and texture. You can use 2, or 3, or however many your heart desires! Peel them, break them in half (they may do this themselves), and put them in the jug/container/whatever.
3. The milk. You can use whatever sort you like! When there's milk in our house, it's usually "light" cow's milk, so I use that. Personally I haven't found a non-dairy milk with a taste I like - because I don't like change, and I assume it would be very hard to get a plant milk to taste EXACTLY like cow's milk. Lactose free would be fine - you're not likely to notice the extra sweetness in something like a smoothie. In terms of amount, I like to mostly cover the bananas and leave about a dollar coin's height of banana sticking out. What's that, 3cm? Probably.
4. The spices. Which ones you use is up to you, but make your ancient ancestors proud. You want to use ground spices - the stick mixer won't grind things for you, and it looks pretty when they go into the milk! I always use chilli; often I also add cinnamon and ginger, paprika can also be good. Don't be afraid of using too much (though don't be excessive) - if your smoothie isn't brown at the end, you could Definitely have added more spices. Without the spices, a banana smoothie is OK - but rather bland. Then again, some people are wierd and don't like flavour in their food. They're wrong, but they're allowed to be wrong. You don't need spices! (But I think they're pretty good).
Now, some things ARE wrong - especially, adding more ingredients. Things you may be tempted to add, and shouldn't:
1. Mango. Why? The texture is viscous enough, the smoothie is sweet enough, and I don't think you're adding much to the flavour. You want a mango smoothie? Make one, don't hijack a banana smoothie.
2. Berries, or any other sort of fruit. See above - if you want those in your smoothie, you're making a different sort of smoothie and should leave the bananas out. As a side note, I'm not a fan of a mango smoothie, and I'd prefer to just eat the component fruits of almost any other smoothie.
3. Chocolate or coffee. They might complement the banana flavour, but again - if you want those in your drink, make a drink where they're the focus.
4. Honey. Why? It's sweet (and thick) enough already from the banana. Use the honey in tea or biscuits or something instead.
5. Oats. Again, why? The texture is perfectly fine already.
6. Any form of extra protein. There are other, yummier ways to get protein if you need it. If you're the sort of person who needs the extra protein in their smoothie, do Not be fooled - a liquid breakfast/post workout will Not sustain you for long enough! Take the time to EAT something, and you'll feel better overall, and food is delicious.
7. Vegetables or vitamins. See above - enjoy your smoothie, enjoy food, and get them somewhere else.
8. Ice. Your drink is a frappé now. By definition, it is no longer a smoothie.
9. Anything else. You surprise and confuse me; but if by some miracle I can eat whatever you're mixing in, I may yet be convinced.
Finally, if your bananas HAVE got to the "freeze them before they smell and make the other fruit go off" stage, or you're adding in frozen banana for whatever reason; remember that frozen banana is stickier than fresh banana! You may want to add more milk to balance this.
I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me about some of this. That's fine! You're wrong, but you're allowed to be wrong (as long as you don't try to make your Smoothie Abominations near me, or feed them to me). I hope that someone at least finds this half as entertaining as it was to write!

World Milk Day
Start your day with a glass of calcium-rich milk, visit a local dairy farm, or see what milk alternatives like soy, oat, or almond milk you might enjoy.
It’s a well-known fact that milk is rich with calcium, a mineral that promotes healthy teeth and bones. June 1st is the date that has been set aside to celebrate Milk Day. And, of course, this is a celebration that can take place anywhere in the world, given that milk is a global food!
The use of milk in food and drink has been happening for thousands of years. As most people can appreciate, milk is an integral part of most people’s daily lives, and there’s an entire industry that revolves around it as well.
Milk is a liquid food rich with nutrients like calcium. It’s a food product that is primarily used by mammals during infancy. Although, in the case of humans, people tend to consume it in adulthood, as most adult humans can digest the lactose in milk.
Of course, milk isn’t only available for drinking. It’s an essential ingredient for dairy foods such as butter, cream, ice cream, and cheese. Milk can also be found as an ingredient used in other types of foods, such as bread, cakes, cereal, desserts and so much more.
There is no denying that milk has become a mainstay of most people’s diets today. It’s also one of the cheapest food products to buy, given the industrial scale of milk production in the world. Some of the largest producers of milk are the United States, India, and China.
History of Milk Day
Milk Day became a globally celebrated event on June 1st, 2001. The global celebration, in general, can be traced back to the United Nations (UN). In particular, the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) of the UN has been responsible for organizing and marketing World Milk Day throughout the globe.
More than two decades ago, the FAO proposed a global Milk Day to recognize the importance of milk and the role that it plays in our world. In addition, this day was also created to provide direct focus to the milk industry and publicize the various activities connected with it. In fact, the dairy industry supports the livelihoods of approximately 1 billion people throughout the world!
But even before this day was created in 2001, Milk Day was celebrated by some other nations throughout history. In the British Isles, for example, a Milk Day celebration (“Imbolc” – Celtic for “milk”) took place in the pre-Christian era.
Considering the fact that over six billion people worldwide consume milk and dairy, it’s no surprise there was a need to celebrate this healthy, delicious beverage!
How to Celebrate Milk Day
June 1st is a day that many people may want to write their diaries. Milk plays such a significant role in the world that should certainly be celebrated in style!
But what can be done to celebrate such a momentous occasion? Try out some of these ideas for enjoying Milk Day:
Get the Day Started with a Glass of Milk
Why not celebrate today with a glass of fresh, cold milk in the morning to kick-start the day?! But don’t stop there. How about enjoying a big bowl of cereal full of delicious milk?
Of course, after drinking that glass of milk, don’t forget to snap a photo of that beautiful milk mustache! Share it with the world on social media to remind everyone else to enjoy Milk Day too.
Join an Official Milk Day Celebration
As a worldwide event, Milk Day comes with all kinds of official opportunities to celebrate! In 2020, more than 400 Milk Day campaigns took place in over 68 countries all over the globe, so there should be plenty to join in with again this year. Here are some events that have taken place in previous years:
World Milk Day Milk Donation. Happening in New York State, USA, several organizations have gotten together to provide a free gallon of milk to the people in their local community who visit a dairy farm.
Live Recipes by Renowned Chefs from Around the World. This live Facebook event has been hosted by Amul, India, which is the country’s largest dairy brand, with the intention of showing the importance of milk throughout different countries and cultures.
International Dairy Federation Raise a Glass Event. Hosted by the IDF in Brussels, Belgium, this event involved hosting a toast to milk from people all around the world.
Check the World Milk Day website to get access to all the needed information to make plans for this day.
Visit a Local Dairy or Farm
For those who have some extra time, especially those with kids who are ready to learn, consider visiting a local dairy to learn the process of milking cows and collecting the milk. This will also lead to learning about pasteurizing and homogenizing milk, methods used to filter milk and keep it long-lasting.
If there are no cow farms nearby, consider visiting a smaller farm that has goats. It’s still possible to learn about everything milk-oriented but may be more accessible because they might be smaller and locally owned.
Enjoy Other Milk Products
For lunch, why not have a mozzarella or Margherita pizza and drink a glass of chocolate milk to wash it down? After that, those who are still feeling hungry could always have some delicious ice cream for dessert!
Other options for enjoying milk products on this day (and every day!) include yogurt, sour cream, butter, custard, cream and all of the recipes that can be made from them.
Try a Milk Alternative
For folks who have trouble digesting dairy easily, why not try other non-dairy milk alternatives? Here are some popular options:
Soy Milk. A favorite as one of the early milk alternatives, this one is made from soybean plants that grow fairly prolifically in many places.
Almond Milk. Made by crushing almonds and blending them with water, and then straining out the mix to remove any solids that are left, this nutty milk is filled with protein.
Coconut Milk. This one uses the white, fleshy part of the coconut, grating it and soaking it in water. The cream rises and is skimmed off, then what’s left is strained to extract the coconut milk.
Whether with a milk product or a dairy alternative, celebrating World Milk Day can be loads of fun!

Alternative Sweetener Market - Forecast (2022-2027)
The Alternative Sweetener Market Size is estimated to reach$7.5 billion by 2027 and it is poised to grow at a CAGR of 4.4% over the forecast period of 2022-2027. Alternative sweetener is a sugar substitute that can be used as food additives to enhance and sweeten various foods and beverages. Furthermore, alternative sweeteners have a higher sweetness level than normal sugar, they are utilized at lower concentrations. Owing to their overall taste and low-calorie content, these sweeteners such as high fructose syrup, High-intensity sweeteners and low-intensity sweeteners are used to substitute sucrose (sugar). Alternative sweeteners are commonly used in food and beverage goods, bakeries and confectionery and can also be used to substitute sugar in nutritional supplements to reduce calories and carbohydrates. Soft drinks, powdered drink mixes, baked goods, sweets, puddings, tinned foods, jams and jellies and dairy products are all examples of processed foods that contain alternative sweeteners. In the home, alternative sweeteners are used to improve the appearance, color, flavor and texture of food. Alternative sweeteners have a reduced glycemic index, meaning they have no effect on insulin levels after consumption and are thus used as a low-calorie food ingredient. Alternative sweeteners are made from a variety of natural and non-natural sources such as sucralose, aspartame and saccharin and are widely employed in a variety of applications, including dairy products, bakery items and medications. Low-calorie sweeteners are preferred by diabetics and obese people as they have a lower sweetness quotient than sugar. Increased use of alternative sweeteners in the food processing industry is propelling the growth of the Alternative Sweetener industry, as well as brand awareness advertising by manufacturers, are the fundamental reasons for enhancing the Alternative Sweetener Market size during the forecast period 2022-2027.

Alternative Sweetener Market Segmentation Analysis - by Type
Alternative Sweetener Market based on types can be further segmented into High Fructose Syrup, High-Intensity Sweeteners, Low-intensity Sweeteners and Others. The High-Intensity Sweeteners segment held a dominant Alternative Sweetener Market share in the year 2021. Food additives known as high-intensity sweeteners (HIS) are sugar substitutes that resemble the taste of sugar. These sweeteners have a calorie value ranging from 0 to 4 Kcal/gm and are used as flavor enhancers in food and beverage products. To address the need of health-conscious consumers, HIS is utilized as a diet sugar. Furthermore, after it is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, it can be utilized as a food additive (FDA). It can also be used commercially after receiving approval from the Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) organization, which is particularly important in North America and Europe. For instance, Sweden would launch its new natural sweetener in October 2021, as part of its "high-intensity sweeteners" product portfolio. Small amounts of ultra-sweet taste protein were discovered in West African plants known as Oubli. Also, awareness & brand promotion by key manufacturers increase the Alternative Sweetener industry's strength in the forecast period. However, the High Fructose Syrup segment is expected to grow at the quickest rate between 2022 and 2027, with a CAGR of 5.9%, owing to its distinct taste. High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is a liquid sweetener made from a modified type of corn syrup that is utilized in the food and beverage industry as an alternative to sucrose. Wet milling is a method of producing high fructose corn syrup from corn. HFCS is more stable than granulated sucrose and works well in acidic beverages. It is also easier to carry, handle and mix attributed to its liquid property. The US Food and Drug Administration, on the other hand, has designated high fructose corn syrup as "Generally Recognized as Safe" (GRAS) (U.S. FDA). HFCS has been widely adopted by U.S. food manufacturers owing to its advantages over granulated sucralose. For instance, it is easy to supply and handle and has good stability. Such use of High Fructose Corn Syrup helps to boost the market of the Alternative Sweetener industry over the forecast period.

Alternative Sweetener Market Segmentation Analysis - by Application
The alternative Sweetener Market based on the application can be further segmented into Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals and Others. The Food & Beverages segment held a dominant Alternative Sweetener Market share in the year 2021. Alternative sweeteners are commonly used in food and beverage goods, bakeries and confectionery and can also be used to substitute sugar in nutritional supplements to reduce calories and carbohydrates. During the forecast period, an increase in demand for low-calorie sucralose sweeteners in the food and beverage industry is likely to drive market expansion globally. However, pharmaceutical use of alternative sweeteners is expected to grow at the quickest rate between 2022 and 2027, with a CAGR of 6.1% owing to its use in capsules & tablets to assist appearance and ease of transport & storage. The sugar-coated tablet is protected from the damaging effect of air & moisture & it is easier to swallow owing to its improved flavor. In syrup, alternative sweeteners are used to mask the unpleasant taste of active ingredients & to maintain viscosity. Alternative sweeteners are also used in syrup to boost instant energy in cold & flu & also sugar extends the shelf life of the product. Such factors boost the pharmaceutical segment in the forecast period.
Alternative Sweetener Market Segmentation Analysis - by Geography
The Alternative Sweetener Market based on Geography can be further segmented into North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America and the Rest of the World. North America held a dominant Alternative Sweetener Market share of 36% in the year 2021. This is attributed to reasons like the presence of key market players and their product developments. Key manufacturers are promoting their products in innovative ways. Manus Bio, for example, launched the next generation "Natural Zero-Calorie Sweetener" in April 2021 in the United States under its iconic brand NutraSweet Naturals. To enjoy in everyday life, a plant-based sweetener with zero calories and 100% pure-tasting sweetness. The product has no aftertaste and can aid people who are trying to reduce weight quickly. The increased knowledge of the negative consequences of excessive sugar consumption is the primary driver of market expansion. As a result, there is greater potential for low-calorie sweeteners, particularly in bakery, beverage and dairy applications. Beverages are the most popular, followed by bakery, confectionery and dairy products. Splenda, Sweet'N Low, Stevia in the Raw and Equal are the favored brands of alternative sweeteners, according to the US Census Bureau. Furthermore, the Asia-Pacific is estimated to grow with the fastest CAGR over the forecast period 2022-2027. Attributed to the prevalence of a diverse range of suppliers and manufacturers, this region presents the profitable potential for important manufacturers. Furthermore, a high rate of economic growth, a rise in spending power and the creation of new dietary habits, such as the use of low-calorie diet beverages and sodas, are all contributing to market expansion.

Alternative Sweetener Market Drivers
The Rise in Health-Conscious Consumer is a Key Factor Driving the Market Growth.
The market for alternative sweeteners is expanding owing to an increase in health concerns, as well as an increase in the incidence of diabetes and obesity. Increased demand for low-calorie sweeteners and an increase in the obese population, particularly in emerging countries, are driving market expansion. In addition to monk fruit extract, users use stevia extract, a sweetener obtained from the leaves of the stevia bush. According to WHO 2020, there are 422 million people suffering from diabetics 2020 and 1.5 million deaths are attributed owing to diabetics. With such increasing diabetes prevalence, people prefer alternative sources of sweeteners to avoid health risks. Low-calorie sweeteners are preferred by diabetics and obese people owing to their having a lower sweetness quotient than sugar. During the projected period, the global alternative sweeteners market is expected to develop owing to an increase in demand for healthy and low-calorie foods and beverages.
Application of Alternative Sweeteners in Various Industries is Propelling the Market Growth.
Alternative Sweeteners are used in various industries like the food & beverage industry in various beverages, juice, jam, jelly, cream, bakery-confectionery, diary, frozen dessert & others; in pharmaceutical & nutraceuticals in for preparation of anti-biotic & cough syrup to hide odor and taste of active ingredients and other compounds in formulations; in animal feed to enhance taste and mask unwanted odor in pet food and others. In 2020, the United States consumed 14.7 million metric tonnes of sweetener ingredients. Such an increase in consumption propelled the Alternative Sweetener Market size growth in the forecast period.
Alternative Sweetener Market Challenges
The Overall Market Growth Has Been Hampered by Product Combinations that Equivocally Place Alternative Sweeteners Against Natural Sugars.
To combat sugar compositions, multiple components are required. As a result, holistic techniques to reduce sugar content while still harmonizing taste must be pursued. Formulators, for example, must combine stevia leaf extracts with erythritol to create sugar-free goods that fulfill consumer expectations. Sugar and artificial sweetener prices are 269.04 % more in 2022 than they were in 1977, according to the US Bureau of Labour Statistics (a $1.83 difference in value). Tate & Lyle will unveil new SWEETENER VANTAGE sweetener solutions design tools in July 2020 to assist formulators in creating sugar-free food and beverages using low-calorie sweeteners. Furthermore, a study has yielded a number of results that are further inhibiting market expansion. When taste receptors are exposed to other sweeteners or natural sugars, they react in the same way and the need can sometimes outweigh the health benefits. When we eat high-sugar foods, the brain sends out signals; however, there is no actual sugar in alternative sweeteners and the body creates insulin to offset the lack of a potential glucose molecule. As a result, the body begins to build insulin resistance over time. Finally, alternative sweeteners have been heavily processed with substances that can have negative health consequences. For example, intestinal health can deteriorate, resulting in obesity. Alternative sugar's negative health effects may stifle Alternative Sweetener Market size expansion over the projection period.

Food questions for the Muse(s)
@agentjjkelly asked: 🍹 - Your favourite drink? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic. 🍸 - Can you share a good cocktail recipe? ☕ - How do you drink your tea? And your coffee?
Tumblr media
🍹 - Your favourite drink? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
“Alcoholic: whisky, neat.  Whisky stones are acceptable, ice is not.  Non-alcoholic: tea; my choice of tea depends on mood and the time of day.”
🍸- Can you share a good cocktail recipe?
“Mulled wine/glögg:
Red wine
Port/sherry/hard liquor (esp. vodka or brandy)
- mix as desired
Honey
Orange peel
Ginger
Nutmeg
Cloves
Cinnamon
Cardamom
Allspice
Raisins
Almonds
- add in as desired
Mix ingredients according to taste.  Heat over a low flame/a low temp in a crockpot.  Strain and serve.
I generally have a medium-sized crockpot full of this throughout the holidays.  Cheesecloth is your friend with this.  If you have access to a South Asian market, that’s definitely where you want to go for spices.”
☕ - How do you drink your tea? And your coffee?
“Tea is entirely dependent on the type of tea and when I’m drinking it.  Black blends are usually taken with a little sugar.  Sugar and milk are usually reserved for Earl Grey and sometimes British Breakfast.  Pu-erh and lapsang souchong are taken plain, though I may add sugar to blends based on them.  Green tea and green tea blends are usually taken plain, though there’s a few blends I take with a touch of sugar just to accentuate their natural sweetness.  Herbal tea and rooibos are often taken with a hint of sugar as well, though some blends are delicate enough that I’ll take them plain.  If it’s something non/low-caffeinated that I’m drinking before bed I’ll generally pass on the sugar.  I don’t really do white teas as I just don’t have the palate to properly enjoy them.
“When it comes to brewing tea, I am incredibly finicky.  I keep a fancy kettle in the office at work so that I can brew water at the proper temperature for the tea in question, and I time my steeping appropriately.  I’m not necessarily a snob when it comes to other people drinking tea, but I am when it comes to my tea.
“Coffee is taken with as much sugar and milk/creamer/non-dairy-creamer as possible.  Flavored creamers are preferred.  Anything to make it not taste like coffee.  Though, honestly, I’ve gravitated away from coffee in general upon realizing that with my ADHD it doesn’t actually do anything to keep me awake.  I never liked the taste anyway, so I’m not crying.”

ETERNALLY PURE!
Tumblr media
The food delivery giant Zomato’s shares are down nearly 70% from their peak hit shortly after listing last year. The company also stated that its consolidated net loss for the latest quarter widened to Rs 360 crore compared to Rs 134.2 crore the same time last year. The company is trying to cut down its losses by improving the contribution margin of the food delivery business. The increase in fuel prices increases Zomato’s delivery cost and the company is also seeing some stress on the availability of delivery partners in the current quarter in select large cities. Zomato delivers the food on time, but there are no good returns to its holders, the structure at this moment is weak. According to researchers, the company needs to focus on a single business model first then work on the multiple business models if it wants to become profitable.
However, Revenue from operations were at Rs 1,211.8 crore, up 75.01 per cent compared to Rs 692.4 crore in the same quarter last year. Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato says, “We think our growth trajectory is back on track, and we don’t foresee ‘post-Covid ramifications’ affecting our growth rate anymore. Having said that, even before Covid, growth in our business has been lumpy (and not linear) – so it is essential to take a long term view of our business.” Zomato’s quick commerce business, Blinkit, which it acquired earlier this year, improved as well. Losses have reduced owing to operating leverage and improved execution.
Overall, Zomato is an early bet to be placed on by any investor. The company is yet to be stable in terms of growth, revenue and profits. However, a specific prospective future of Zomato intrigues the investors and it is HYPERPURE. Zomato says B2B vertical Hyperpure could be bigger than food delivery.
Hyperpure is Zomato's supply platform for restaurants. It allows them to purchase:
· The freshest, most high quality ingredients available on the market
· Antibiotic residue-free chicken, which is better for your customers than regular chicken
· Eco-friendly packaging (which is recyclable and doesn't harm the environment) for deliveries
Through Hyperpure restaurants can purchase: Vegetables & Fruits, Poultry (including antibiotic residue-free chicken), Groceries, Meats, Seafood, Dairy, Beverages, and Eco-friendly Packaging.
TASK AT HAND
You have been hired by Deepinder Goyal as the CSO of Zomato and are required to come up with the following deliverables:
Fund reallocation and cost cutting measures to be adopted by the company
Efficient operational model for Hyperpure
Phase-wise implementation plan
Short-term and long-term strategies to attract the investors
Marketing plan for Zomato and hyperpure
Extra deliverables as per your discretion

OCP distributes its phosphate products across five continents—North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The company manages its global operations through 30 subsidiaries and supports the market through robust distribution channels involving traders and distributors.
Dicalcium Phosphate is Capturing Major Feed Phosphates Market Share
The dicalcium phosphate (DCP) segment is projected to hold the largest market share among feed phosphates. Achieving an optimal calcium-to-phosphorus ratio is crucial for animal nutrition, and DCP offers an excellent balance of these essential minerals. This balance ensures animals receive the necessary nutrients to support their growth and overall health. Additionally, DCP is relatively cost-effective compared to other feed phosphates, making it an appealing choice for farmers who are looking for affordable, high-quality mineral supplements for their livestock.
Recent Advances in Feed Phosphates Industry
In 2023, OCP Group, a prominent global provider of phosphate-based plant and animal nutrition solutions, and Fertinagro Biotech S.L., a major Spanish fertilizer producer, are delighted to announce the successful completion of OCP's acquisition of Global Feed S.L on May 17th, 2023. This acquisition reinforces OCP's dedication to establishing a strong position in the animal nutrition sector, further solidifying its role as a leading player in the industry.
In 2020, Nutrien Ltd. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the entire equity of the Tec Agro Group. Tec Agro, a prominent agricultural retailer operating in the state of Goiás, (Brazil) brings nearly 25 years of dedicated service to farmers and operates through eight retail branches. This acquisition of Tec Agro represents a significant advancement in establishing a robust presence within the vital and expanding Brazilian agricultural market.
