You may have been placed in this situation so that you will seek the Lord and find him. When we begin to think we are self-sufficient, we forget to seek God and turn more inwardly. This is a mistake! We should always seek our savior first above all else. He is always near to us and willing and able to give us more than we could ever need. When you need help, seek him and you will find him. Prayer: Dear God, help me to be more focused on you than I am on myself. Do not let me fall into the trap of believing I can do things on my own and that I do not need you. Took me years to figure out that God really does know best! Don’t take my word for it; try trusting God in little things and letting Him tell you where you should go and what you should do and then move onto big things. When You have the Holy Spirit in you, there is nothing too small or too big that He won’t willingly help you with if you ask for help. (What does the Holy Spirit do for us?)

Jesus, the Good Shepherd, seeks the lost and helps them find their way back to safety, He sees the searching and shows them the right path. And Jesus never stops, until we are all found.
