He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

“I waited patiently for the LORD; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”

I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You.
Psalm 119:11
How do I live a life pleasing in God's sight? How do I overcome sin that besets me?
The Psalmist treasured God's word in his heart. What did he do? According to Psalm 119, he longed for it, he delighted in God's word, he meditated on it, he rejoiced in His word and he took it to heart, treasured it in his heart. Why did he do all these things? He was constantly seeking to live a righteous life, and realised that only God's word could keep him away from sin.
He cried out to God for help. Let's make this our cry too.
Let's pray: Teach me, Lord, the way of Your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.
Give me understanding, so that I may keep Your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward Your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to Your word. (V-33-37) In Jesus' name, Amen

Psalm 18:2
"The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my Stronghold." (ESV)
Matthew 7:24-25
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock." (ESV)
1 Corinthians 3:11
"For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Psalms 139:1-6 (NLT). [1] “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. [2] You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. [3] You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. [4] You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. [5] You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. [6] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!”
“Sunday Reflection: God’s Love for Us” By In Touch Ministries:
“God understands the depth of our brokenness, but that doesn't change His love for us.”
“If you knew every thought people had about you—or if they knew your thoughts about them—how long would those relationships last? Thankfully, God isn’t limited in this way, even though He knows everything about us, not just our thoughts (Psalm 139:4). He hears each word and sees our most private actions. And though He alone knows the full extent of our brokenness, His love for us persists like an unquenchable fire.
Acknowledging our brokenness before God changes the way we think about our own sin—and His love for us in spite of it. It causes us to grieve, not only for ourselves but also for the sins of the world. Yet we should remember Jesus didn’t just mourn sin; He conquered it. And He invites us to pursue something more than this world can offer: the greatest love of all.”

Quiet Time 6/18
What am I feeling today?
Just very tired, I stayed up later than I should’ve and now I regret it this morning. I hope I will not feel too tired at work today and that I’ll have the energy to go around sharing my faith afterwards🫶
Psalm 15 NIV
“Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.”
Just a reminder of who we should be as disciples:
walk blamelessly
do what is righteous
speak truth from the heart
speak no slander
does not wrong their neighbors
casts no slurs
despises vile people but honor those who fear the Lord
keep an oath even when it hurts (and doesn’t change their mind)
lends money to the poor without interest
do not accept bribes against the innocent
here’s a list that we should keep in mind - we should reflect on this from where we lack and look to receive correction but on a heart level, because we desire to keep His commands

within
Need to be fixed
within
evil is near
but what for?
separation
disorder,
the same feeling
the same missing
the same mess,
the desire for the most high
without knowing.
Feeling happy
empty
frustrated
and then
hallow again,
need to stop the mind
and realize,
until feel him,
find out the order
the plenitude
the water
the shedding,
feeling again
the joyness of existence,
restoring the breathe
keeping the eyes on high
finally the beginning
together at once
for all forevers.
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?... Ps

If Your Law had not been my delight, Then I would have perished in my misery.
I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have revived me. Psalm 119: 92-93
The Psalmist is in grave danger. The wicked are out to destroy him. (Verse 95) But his eyes are upon the Lord, recounting His faithfulness and power through many generations. He begins to delight in His Maker.
Choosing to delight in God might not be easy especially when things are not going well for us and we feel like giving up. That's when we need to focus on His word because God's word can revive us. You see, every circumstance you are facing today is under the feet of Jesus. He is well able to handle it. He is perfectly capable of sustaining us, if we will only let Him. If you are despondent or depressed, make a conscious effort to read the word of God, lay your burdens at His feet and He will strengthen you and help you to come out on the other side unscathed.
