Although Mary agreed to cooperate with Daeif and the Circuit Chaps, it was very clear that she was expecting help from the Inspector to prevent her integration into the evil robots.
The Inspector ended up helping, in the form of a hologram that told Veneziana which switch to throw to power down the building and stave off the Circuit Chaps’ conversation process.
‘Oh! Could up just yank that switch there? That’d be great!’

It was certainly a good thing that Veneziana kept the parachute Mary gave her,
considering how far she ended up falling down the lift shaft once Daeif identified her as a threat to his plan.

Never a good situation when the only way out is up. Naturally, Mary Shelburne-Grey is crazy prepared for just such an occasion, giving Dynamo and Veneziana parachutes.
Wait, parachutes? As if they could base-jump without Daeif and the Circuit Chaps noticing.

If the Sergeant knew he was going to be put in the vault beneath W.I.T. headquarters, why did he hide his teleportation device outside the cell, instead of inside it?
Oh, right, then he wouldn’t have needed Daeif and the Circuit Chaps to bust him out of the vault, thereby speeding up the course of events.

The only reason Daeif returned to the programme was the Sergeant had somehow cloned him before he was destroyed?
Something about that sounds like it was retconned in order to allow the Sole Circuit Chap to return and threaten the Inspector and her Associates yet again.

Why would Daeif believe Mary when she claims to know security data from all over the world, as if it would spare her being made a Circuit Chap?
Then again, she doesn’t know that the Sergeant has stolen the Inspector’s body and would like nothing better than to see humanity eradicated from the Earth. Tricky gambit, Mary.

Why would Mary invite the Circuit Chaps to find her?
To have a spot of tea and scones? ’Cause, there is no chance Daeif will negotiate anything.

So, the Sergeant’s replication of Daeif was merely his way of getting out of the dungeon, where he conveniently has a teleportation mechanism hid in the wall.
He escapes from W.I.T. headquarters to go where? (Or, more likely, when?)

If only the writers hadn’t been so set on Daeif (the Sole Circuit Chap)
ending up a pawn of the Sergeant! There was so much we could have learnt about him.
