I love how you don't see the reylo side of Star Wars being nasty about another Dyad or magical conception. In fact, even before the Dyad got a name, it was reylos who were theorizing that Ben and Rey were reincarnations of Revan and Bastila.

It's the dubebros that get weird and insecure about another Force conception before Anakin. And it's an extra level of stupid and hypocritical for some of them to get mad as hell that a witch like Mother Aniseya uses some technique to create a child for herself and her beloved, but come up with all these unproven theories that Palpatine "sired" Anakin, just so they can make reylo an "incest ship".

They are out here saying it's "impossible" for a witch to do what they happily have been fantasizing about for the past few years due to a ship they hate. So it's okay for Palpatine to do it, but not a witch?

Sorry guys, but Palpatine isn't special. He has fucked up a lot of the stuff he has tried, he can't even get a good force sensitive clone to hold his power and midichlorians, and the one woman that did it--Nala Se--destroyed all her knowledge, fucking him over. He's not perfect, he's not immortal, and he damn well knows it. He lied through his teeth to Anakin about saving Padme, because he didn't know shit about how to save her.

Darth Plaguis probably learned what he learned from the witches in the first place, and there is no canon evidence thus far that he succeeded in his attempts.

Anakin Skywalker was likely conceived by the Force itself, which may or may not have been a new thing. We don't know, and it's not even the point. Getting bent because he isn't "special" is silly, because it doesn't make him the man that he is.

Reylos don't get insecure over other Dyad's happening. We know it's happened before, TROS says it does, it doesn't make Ben and Rey's relationship less special, because Ben and Rey THEMSELVES are unique and special people.

I finally did it! After 9 months of hiatus, WE’RE BACK with demon!Ben and grumpy!Rey.

All six existing chapters on AO3 have been completely revised - and I’ve just posted the seventh, my first update since October.

I expect I’ll be working on this one for the rest of the year, if not longer. She’s CHONKY. She’s THICC. She’s going places I don’t think most people will expect. And I’m so excited to be working on her again.
