I'm trying (and failing!) to find a WangXian fix I read years ago on Ao3.

From what I remember, Wei WuXian was a Captive of the Wen and kept in a high tower where is tortured and chained with a small window and Lan Zhan also gets captured and put in the same cell of Wei WuXian.

Lan Zhan is there when the Wen soldiers drag Wei WuXian away for torture and they bond. Later Lan Zhan finds out Wei WuXian is a Phoenix and the Wens want his tears. Wen Qing and Wen Ning are his only friends.

Wei WuXian helps Lan Zhan escape and Lan Zhan has to convince the cultivation world to save Wei WuXian but by the time they reach the Wens, they see that Wei WuXian lost control of the Phoenix and Lan Zhan calms him down amidst the fire.

I also remember the fic mentionimg that a Phoenix meant Goodluck.

8. thank u so much for all u do! i actually have two fics i’m searching for! i remember reading both in 2021 so i believe that narrows things down!

A) first one is canon divergence from qiongqi path, i remember that wwx almost dies but puts his consciousness into a paperman and his body is somewhat preserved by wen qing till they can find a way to heal him and then transfer his consciousness back but they pretend he died to the other sects (i remember they even go check his body) i remember the wen remnants go to lotus pier pretending to be related to ppl from yunmeg and jzx survives. the whole mess with mxy and the summoning array happens but it fucks it up a little since wwx isn’t actually dead and he becomes something like a spirit/ghost for a while and ends up meeting lwj by accident when he’s taming mxy back to lotus pier. they manage to heal his body and he transfers himself back in and they all live happily ever after.

B) the second one is a fic in a fic series of wangxian having more children and being very domestic that includes past lwj changing places with present lwj for a day and he basically spends the day with wwx, they go farming he helps with the kids, they see lsz for a time, unfortunately that’s all i can remember from it.

9. Hello! I am looking for some help to find a fic. It's a story where Wei Wuxian becomes the ruler of afterlife essentially. All the characters who died before him are there but he has no memory of his past. The only way to get his memory was to go to earth and retrieve them(?). The last chapter I remember is MXY calling him, allowing him to return to the earthly realm.

Thank you for the suggestion but that is not it, unfortunately. The one I'm looking for starts out with Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan being in this after life city. They had to struggle for a bit because there death offerings(?) were delayed. Wen Qing was a doctor in the town and helped heal Jin Zixuan from an injury at one point. The reason everyone's offerings were delayed was because there was a new Ruler, who ended up being Wei Wuxian. He had absolutely no memory of anyone, but allowed Jiang Yanli to visit him. He would hear a song (Wangxian) played as a tribute(?) but didn't know who played it.

10. Help!

I lost a Twitter threadfic! I could have sworn I saved it, but either I accidentally deleted it or the author did. And they were about to update it too!

It was about WWX who, during the first Burial Mounds siege, was transformed into a rabbit, and now lives as an immortal bunny. Now it's modern times and he's been rescued by a reincarnated LWJ, who is about to leave for college (veterinary) and doesn't remember anything about his past life. WWX is wary of him at first (he thinks that LWJ was amongst those who led the siege), but he eventually warms up to him and manages to tell him the truth using a computer.

13. I was reading a great fic and then Tumblr updated and ripped out from me when I was only in chapter two! Devastated. Its world building at its finest, you are not folks directly what's happened or happening. WWX is the proprietor of Yiling Garden, a cafe that offers sanctuary. Mo Xuanyu arrives in the first chapter seeking sanctuary from the Inquisition. Lan Wangji arrives, saying he's sanctuary and there for Mo Xuanyu, but WWX assumed he was inquisition at first. They have not seen each other for years. Clearly something happened to separate WWX from everyone he loves except Wen Ning, who works for the shop too, and had been raised from the dead. For unknown reasons, Wen Qing is elsewhere and happy. Wen Yuan is mentioned, but WWX doesn't know what happened to him. There are phones so it's a modern au. And... That's it. Tumblr died right after Lan Wangji asks WWX out for dinner. Help! Thank you VERY much! @lurkdot

I have a fic finder request - I remember it was a harry potter au where wwx has been gone from lwj's life for 13 years. he came back (as an animagus?) as a black rabbit and lwj was a professor at hogwarts. lwj takes care of rabbit wwx and then jgy comes with aurors at the end of the fic to attack hogwarts and lwj fights him. I seem to have read a summary or a review of a wangxian fic and can't recall if it's from this blog so i am putting in a request for help in finding it so in that summary it was mentioned that wangxian had travelled to a village and met a lady on bank of the sea but she was actually a sea monster/creature don't exactly remember what and she consumes hearts of her victim and LWJ becomes her target but he distracts her by tell her his and WWX's story while WWX tries to save LWJ as the body of the victim comes to shore after a week or so don't remember much or more so I hope this suffices also it was most likely to be a multi chapter fic with less than 10 but more than 3 chapters and that it was probably on ao3 . I don't really mind the new tag things? Like, I don't love them, but they're fine. If people want to distance themselves, that's fine. I'm distancing myself. Anybody who's been keeping up with my blog over the past half a year or so can see that I haven't really posted about the QSMP at all since Purgatory started. I haven't talked about Quackity at all outside of that shitshow of an awards ceremony in over a month when, for several years, I was a Quackity-centric blog (2021-early 2023)

My thing with the new tags, and with the Guapoverse thing in general, is that it really just isn't accessible for a larger audience. Sure, some parts of Twitter might understand it, but what about the rest of us?

As far as I can tell, the Guapoverse originated with a Twitter artist (Moone), and it blew up overnight. And I'm overall cool with it! It's a little silly, but so is fandom. I'm a fanfiction writer. Who plays Splatoon for like 4 hours every day. I know silly, and I love it

But then, BAM, I blink and everybody's abandoned the q! and they're changing their tags on Ao3 and making everything suddenly so much harder to find, and it's all about accessibility, isn't it? Like, don't get me wrong, I love a good multiverse, but when it inadvertently excludes a significant portion of the fandom, what are we supposed to do?

Like, say I go on Twitter looking for q!Pac fanart. But now it's so much harder to find because it isn't tagged or typed that way, it's !Pac, and that includes search results from every single au that has a ! in it, like if there was an au called AU!Pac? The !Pac would be in there. But I don't want to see AU!Pac, I want to see q!Pac.

And then there's the g! thingy. Like, that's fine, but a little more widespread of an explanation would've been nice. Like, what au does g! stand for? If you don't know what Guapoverse is, like A LOT OF PEOPLE don't, what are we supposed to think your art is? If we're looking for q!Cellbit art, we aren't necessarily going to like and retweet your art if it's labeled as g!Cellbit because we don't know that he's q!Cellbit.

It's kind of similar on Ao3, only that one's a little different because you can filter by relationship. But let's say you don't know how to do that. Let's say you're new to the website and you only know how to filter by fandom, because that's the first thing you learn how to do on Ao3- it's right there at the top of the front page: Browse By Fandom.

So you go to the QSMP tag looking for fics with Spiderbit/Guapoduo in them. But, here's the thing, you can't find any. Because they aren't being tagged QSMP, they're being tagged Guapoverse now even if the fics are being set in the QSMP setting.

It's just a general lack of fandom accessibility that gets me. I understand the distancing aspect, and I've been waiting for it to happen since the Elections when he Brazilian fandom started getting IMMENSE amounts of hatred from Gringo Chats. But it gets a little tricky when you're part of a fandom as large as this one is. How are we all supposed to share content and talk about things with each other if we can't even find each other anymore?

Like! I've lost so many cool fics I forgot to bookmark because they were taken out of the QSMP tag and moved into the new one! (The new one goes against ToS btw I believe, but go talk to a tag wrangler about that.)

People on Tumblr don't know what the Guapoverse is. TikTok doesn't. Reddit doesn't. Only Twitter does, and only a section of Twitter does. Because I haven't seen any English or French-speaking Guapoduo People talk about the Guapoverse, only Portuguese or Spanish-speaking people. And I get that the exclusion isn't purposeful and that the Guapoverse is meant to sort of heal everybody from the wounds the QSMP left, but I think that maybe even just spreading the news and not... you know... sending death threats and insults and smearing people's names would be better than this.

If Alfred really did put up the memorial case to punish Bruce that would be insanely cruel of him. Why do you think Bruce didn't say anything if we go with your version? And what does Bruce say once Dick confronts him about it, thinking this is another one of Bruce's bad coping mechanisms instead of Alfred's actions? How does their parent/employee and son/employer relationship change after this? Does it at all? Did Bruce just lie down and take it, blaming himself again and thinking he's right to be punished? Does he agree with Alfred that he doesn't deserve to forget even for a second? (Not that he could). Does anybody else know about this??? Dick, Babs, Tim, Leslie or someone?

I'm genuinely curious and interested in this idea and I hope I didn't come across as rude because that wasn't my intention. Would you like to talk more about it? What are your thoughts about these questions?

Hi i actually love all these questions i just have this terrible disease called overthinking my answers to asks and then forgetting to actually answer them!!! So this is going to be a mess, but answered.

Now the fact that Alfred put up the memorial case is something i always thought was canon in the original elseworlds (The Dark Knight Returns) that it originated from, but when i went to look for proof recently i couldn’t find it. So its one of those things where i genuinely dont know if i imagined that or i just cant remember where to look.

Bruce wouldn’t confront Alfred over it because if theres one thing shown consistently in canon its that Alfred has a terrible time respecting Bruces boundaries and decisions if he disagrees with them. Some of this can be reasonable - Bruce does have a very dangerously hobby! And some of this is just bullshit “i raised you so now i can do and say what i want” parenting. So i think Bruce would say nothing because it would accomplish nothing, despite the cave being his space, and also because he has a guilt complex so big he probably thinks he deserves to be confronted with his “failure” every time he’s down there.

I dont think he would tell Dick who put the memorial up for similar reasons - Alfred is one of the people i think Dick had contact with even when he wasnt talking to Bruce, which means if Bruce pushes them apart by revealing what Alfred did, he could risk one of the few stable connections Dick still has to Gotham. And i dont think he would do that, if Dick was already mad at him anyways.

I dont think anyone knows about who put the case up. Remember, at this point Bruce is living alone in the manor with Alfred, and the case is already up (presumably) when Tim starts, Leslie rarely comes down there, and Babs was still recovering from her own Joker attack (which chronologically happened before Jason died). So no. If anyone would know it would be Clark or Diana, because Clark would see how Bruce’s hands shake every time he brushes by it and Diana would ask if this was truly a memorial fitting for Robin, and then realize Bruce wasnt looking at it like someone who chose to see that every day.

And yeah, its very cruel on Alfreds part. It shows a deep misunderstanding of Bruce and his ideals and mission as well, which is fascinating when you take it together with Alfreds encouragement and enabling of Robin as a position, and his constant heckling of Batman as a concept. I think Alfred views Batman, on some level, as a disappointment to the Wayne Legacy. Even if he didnt put it up to punish Bruce in particular, (which is the harshest possible reading, i admit) it is still cruel!

i’m absolutely floored that in the short amount of time i’ve been writing on here that somehow there’s 400 of you that enjoy what i write enough to follow me and keep coming back for more.

i didn’t do any celebrations for any other milestones because i wasn’t confident enough to commit to it at the time, but i know the only way to truly get over my fear of being a bad writer is to keep writing.

When hes being exiled for killing his superior officer, the pleader Iving Creel warns him that he may be killed if he angers the judge/jury enough with his arrogance since he wont apologize...and he says, "You cant love life too much, pleader." always talking about how everyone dies eventually n its their final and only lasting justice...

but after being swallowed up by the Sarlacc, suffering in there, blowing it up and escaping on the brink of death (being badly maimed and burned...) somethin seems to change within him...

when Dengar n his wife Manaroo find him in the sand and bring him back to the ship, he doesnt recognize Fett at first.

And he is thanking him over and over again for saving his life..."Thank you, friend. thank you,"

Dengar obviously says, "its no trouble," and Fett replies, "Do you still want to be partners, Dengar?"

This is coming from the man who openly doesnt like working with anybody.

And then he realizes who it is.

Boba Fett, the man who had betrayed him and even drugged his drink not that long ago. And in his weakened state, Dengar is able to strangle him...

and Fett is repeatedly apologizing, saying, "im sorry, im sorry, i was just following orders..."

n it makes my heart so sad. I know hes a real tough guy, for sure. he was a soldier, a stormtrooper, journeyman protector, etc. But he's still just a person with feelings n deep down im sure he does value his life.

It makes me wonder lots about his past when he was younger. The original lore never really had a chance to get into that (if they ever even intended to, but i doubt it. its likely better off that way. he should be mysterious.) before they just retconned it all and started over. Somethin mustve happened to him at such a young age to toughen him up so bad n put up that front. </3 makes my heart feel big owies.

Well the concept for BW2 goes something like this;

So Juniper and Ghetsis used to actually know each other in college, both were studying Pokemon research and such. Ghetsis saw Juniper as a friend and ally while Juniper saw him as an academic rival.

Eventually however there was a contest, this would be the big breakthrough for anybody to get their name out into the world, and Ghetsis won first place while Juniper won second. Ever since then she's had this personal vendetta against him, claiming he stole her spotlight and her role as a professor.

So she does what she thinks will prove herself to the world that she's better than him and that she should be professor and not him. With the assistance of Colress they both create the DNA Splicers, Juniper aiming to reconstruct the original dragon using sheer will and raw science.

"But Val, how is she going to get her hands on the dragons in the first place?" Glad you asked!

During the events of BW, N assists you in finding the legendary dragons and such as a fun post game side quest. Using the dream mist that both her and Colress were studying during the events of BW, they induce N into a coma and create copies of the dragons fucking Mewtwo style from his memories using the mist.

Obviously they have him held hostage (pokespe flashbacks) and Ghetsis is literally this close 🤏 to fucking crashing out. Alder has to remind him sometimes that "Hey, let's take a few steps back for a second here, you look like you're going to explode..."

Ghetsis may be one to preach that everybody deserves a chance to change who they are and that there's good in everybody's heart, but this one time he'll make an exception.

A few things to clarify just in case is that Ghetsis still has his injuries, though they happened in a somewhat sadder but much tamer way. The injury on his eye happened when his Deino evolved into a Zweilous and it bit into his eye out of freight, he forgave them obviously as this was an accident.

Though he didn't learn his lesson in the end because once it evolved into a Hydreigon and he tried to help it calm down because it was freaking out, he got completely blasted in the side by a dragon pulse <3

Also ye six kids, Anthea, Concordia, N, and the shadow triad! I have yet to give the shadows actual names yet, still working on that lol

i'm really bad at drawing faces so today out of pure & simple frustration i traced a photo off pinterest so I could finally draw fulgrim's face the way i always imagine it when i read the novels (mostly; the earrings aren't there, but i think they're cute)

i do still headcanon his hair is naturally curly/wavy and he straightens it but honestly the more i draw him the more terrifying and hilarious the prospect seems. especially if he dyes it too (which i'm never too certain about). it's such a perfect unnatural white, how does he do it??

(i do still imagine in the original of these pics he's wearing a touch of blush and maybe some concealer and what not but like, in a very "no-makeup makeup" kind of way lol. these are actual makeup looks! i do think hed go for more of uh, what the kids today call "clean girl makeup" type of looks before laer, primarily focused on looking spotless but fresh though still wearing maybe a bit of liner, shadow, lipstick in important situations like fancy dinners or whatever. but like not full 2016 makeup guru full face contour and that anastasia beverly hills eyebrow pomade... nah that's for later down the line when he's properly 'neshi lol)

Writing Prompt List

I decided to compile a list of my own prompts to use for future requests.

There are a total of 210 prompts. Genres are: angst/emotional; fluff/romantic; Miscellaneous/Humor; and Scenario Prompts (the scenario prompts aren't necessarily 100% original, but are versions of popular tropes).

Requests: I prefer 1-3 prompts per request. Feel free to mix and match from other writing prompt lists as well (you can find the other prompts lists here). - please check my bio to see if requests are open.

If you want to use specific ones, or only a certain amount in your own list, I give you permission to copy them - but only if you provide a link to the original post and/or an @ credit to me. Scenario Prompts: *For prompts with Characters A and B; you can choose who is who in your request (who is reader and/or character)

Huddled together to keep warm.

Fall asleep in same bed, on opposite sides, wake up in each others arms.

Character A comes to talk to Character B, pretending to be B's s/o when a stranger is making B uncomfortable. Leads to them asking B out on an actual date.

Running from dangerous person or monster.

Hunting down dangerous person or monster.

Separated forcefully or for reasons you can't control, run into each other again years later on accident.

Get locked in somewhere together.

Continuously running into one another for days after having a meet cute.

Hands brush as you stand next to each other, you think it's on accident until their hands gentle wrap around yours.

Shielding the other with their body to save/protect them.

Caught staring too many times for it to be a coincidence.

Size difference hug; they engulf you.

You refuse to leave so they pick you up and throw you over their shoulder.

Character A can tell Character B is getting nervous in a big crowd, so A slips their hand into theirs to help them calm down.

The panic between thinking you lost them and the relief of seeing they are okay.

Character A teaching B to ice skate/roller skate.

B taking care of A when they are sick.

Holding hands underneath the table.

Bandaging the other and then kissing the injury gently.

A surprises B with a picnic.

Getting stuck at the top of the Ferris Wheel.

B sitting/standing behind A and leaning into them as they show/teach them how to do something.

A kisses B, but A can tell there is no feeling behind it anymore.

As you begin to fall asleep, you feel a gentle kiss pressed to your temple and a blanket draped over you.

B comforting A as they wake up from a nightmare.

A realizing that they have feelings for B when they see them with someone else.

B bringing A hand-picked flowers.

Thinking you are alone in the house but you hear a noise upstairs.

B buys A's dream house and surprises them.

Cliff/floor breaks out beneath A and as they fall B manages to grab their hand at the last second.

A leaves baked goods for B anonymously, but B already knows that it's A.

B surprises A with a cake for their birthday even though A forgot what day it was/or didn't know B knew it was their birthday.

Sharing an umbrella.

Walking together and it starts to rain, so they grab your hand and you start running until you can find somewhere to escape getting wet.

A and B meet randomly, B finds out A is on an important mission or quest and decides to go with them to protect them/watch over them.

Fake date to a wedding; leads to confession.

A game of 20 questions that ends with "Can I kiss you?"

There's a big storm going on outside while A is at B's house, so B insists they sleep over.

A hears that B got hurt and rushes over in a panic to see if they are okay.

B just moved to town and really only knows A (just met). B is being followed or is lost and calls A for help. Of course they come to help and it turns into a date of sorts.

A falling asleep while sitting next to B, as there head falls onto B's shoulder, B stays as still as they can, afraid to wake A.

Cloudgazing or Stargazing together, as you lie next to each other, their hand slips into yours.

Looking around for the shirt you left at your s/o's house; only to find it in a drawer with other clothes and items you've left.

B get's so nervous about their dinner date with A that they accidentally make enough food to feed ten people.

A hand written love lover left at your doorstep.

B dancing to music as their cooking or cleaning, and as they spin around A suddenly appears, grabbing onto B and continuing to dance with them.

A grabs B's hand instinctively out of surprise or fear, and continues to hold it.

A keeps catching B (a stranger) staring at them from across the room and feels self conscious, until B finds them later and tells them that they couldn't stop staring out of awe/attraction.

A and B realizing they were holding hands the entire time the moment they had to let go. (after getting scared, nervous, frightened, etc.)

A buying B groceries because they knew they forgot to buy themselves food again.

B is sad because they accidentally threw something important away. A shows up later with said thing, smelling like trash.

A finding a hand-sketched photo of them on B's desk.

B hearing A sing for the first time (due to karaoke, or walking in on them, etc.) and being surprised at how good they sound.

B helping A step down from a high place by taking their hand, and then not letting go as they continue to walk.

Comparing hand sizes, then linking fingers together.

Dancing around the living room of the first home you've bought together.

Long distance relationship; receiving a good morning text every morning, until one day you don't. You are worried, but then there is a knock at your door.

B is sunshine, rainbows and kindness. A is night, rain-clouds and anger. But when A meets B, they bask in the sunshine and never want to leave.

A asking B on a date until they say yes.

B asking A to attend a wedding with them, to get out of going with someone their parents tried to set them up with.
