Potential Sonadow Halloween Prompt!

(Or just Sonic, doesn’t have to be exclusively sonadow)

Not sure if anyone has done this, but yall ever seen those fun Halloween movies or show specials where the characters are cursed to become whatever they’re dressed up as, and then they have to figure out how to break the curse before the sun rises or before midnight, or they’re stuck as that forever? Picture that kind of thing but with the Sonic crew!

While it could be any costume, obviously the ones I have in mind are Sonic as werehog and Shadow as a vampire. Because who doesn’t love a good vampire and werehog 😌

And if you wanna make things *really* interesting… Sonic and Shadow sacrifice their chance to lose the curse to save everyone else from their curses. This leads to them having to figure out their new lives of being a permanent vampire and werehog (or whatever you want them to be) together :)

The appeal of vampire Terry Jr, especially combined with terrick is so strong. Like, you don't come out of the Forgotten Realms as the same person you went in as. Arguably this is true for all the kiddads, but especially for Nicky and vampire!Terry. Your literal biology has changed, you're not even human anymore. Your parentage has changed, by force or by choice, your memories have been tainted and tampered, you lost you father (except not really), and on top of all of that you've become something monstrous.

But you're not alone

Weilin has a very, very slim chance of becoming canon. [To my great and utter despair, but hey a ship don't have to be canon to be great] But if it were, here's how I, an inexperienced and completely biased amateur writer would go about it:

It's a couple of years after B4. I'd say like 4 or 5. Bolin and Opal have since amicably broken up [I never really cared for Bopal, I love both characters separately, but together they're about as interesting as mayo on white bread. ]

Remenants of the Earth Empire are stil slinking about the Earth Kingdom, causing trouble and a lot of Team Avatar and their other associates are having to step in.

Wei and Bolin get saddled with a mission together in which they have to travel around the Earth Kingdom for a couple weeks. [Because if Tolkien has taught me anything it's that gay road trips ALWAYS work]

Bolin is pretty ok with this arrangement. Sure, it's kinda awkward to travel the wilderness with your ex girlfiend's brother, but Wei is pretty cool, so he doesn't mind it that much.

Meanwhile, Wei has had a crush on Bolin for YEARS, but hasn't acted on it because Opal. This has evolved into a bit of resentment and he's sorta stressed about being in close proximity to Bolin for at least a month.

Bolin envies Wei for having a clearcut place in the world, while Bolin himself has yet to 'find himself'.

In return, Wei, who has been saddled with continuing Toph and Su's legacy since the moment him and Wing developed earthbending, envies Bolin's freedom to be whoever he chooses to be.

They butt heads often. Wei likes to poke and prod at Bolin and frustrate him. Bolin finds himself losing his cool more than ever, but also he finds that having little arguments with Wei helps him releive a lot of stress and tension.

This gay roadtrip would include:

Arguing about directions.

The car breaking down and them having to fix it but they both suck at mechanics.

Sleeping in a tiny tent together or under the stars and long, philosophical talks before falling asleep

Cooking together over a firepit. Bolin cooks, because Wei almost set the campsite on fire the first time he tried to. Wei does the dishes.

Bathing together in a creek and ogling the other. Also splash fights and playing in the water and suddenly, (oh my!) they're naked and really, really close.

Fighting side by side. Nothin gayer. Saving the other from danger.

So much mutual pining and sexual tension. And almost kisses and much more touching the other than necessary.

Pabu having to suffer through witnessing the tedious and odd mating rituals of human himbos. [Pabu, Opal and Wing are the biggest Weilin shippers, you can't change my mind.]

Making plans for the future together and kinda dreading the moment their trip is over and they're supposed to part.

There's just something i find really appealing about the concept of Bolin being unable to metalbend and then getting a metalbender boyfriend

Alright at this point no Star Wars writer other than Timothy Zahn should be allowed to touch Thrawn in current canon. Don't look at him, don't think about him, none of that. Don't even breathe in the blue man's direction. If you don't understand the fundamentals of his character, namely the primary force that drives and motivates him to do things, then do not have him do things!!! Create your own character to be the big bad!! Leave him alone.

thinking about the gojo clan forcing you and your younger brother satoru to marry, hoping that pairing the strongest with another gojo will create powerful sorcerers. you cry when satoru's holding himself above you, members of your family ensuring that you both go through with the plan neither agreed to. somehow the familiar thumb wiping away the tears on your cheek makes everything feel so much worse. he tells you that it'll be okay, his breath as shaky as his hand around his cock and you feel guilty — even now, satoru has to protect you, despite you being the eldest.

What do you get when you combine "what do you mean my family are vigilantes?" civilian Bruce Wayne with "I refuse to acknowledge my family are vigilantes." retired hero Danny Fenton? Shenanigans, that's what.

Bruce is a well adjusted softie who really can't put two and two together that the number of vigilantes running around happens to match up almost exactly with the number of children he has along with their friends. Danny is a newly adopted Wayne who knows a headache when he sees one and chooses not to get involved. The culminates in Danny trying desperately hard to ignore all obvious signs while putting all his effort into making sure his new father doesn't notice them either.

Tim forgot case files laying out on the table? Wow bro, cool homebrew campaign.

Dick appears in almost full Nightwing gear sans mask? Danny shows up the next day in a Nightwing costume because it's Nightwing appreciation day.

On days when everyone's working on various cases in rooms all over the house? Hey pops, wanna check out a new art exhibit with me?

Bonus points if the others have it mixed up. They genuinely believe that Bruce already knows and that Danny is just dense. After all, they don't bother hiding it around Bruce. Jason and Dick were once discussing a case at the dining table right next to him! How could he not know? Meanwhile Bruce: Are they talking about a new video game? Sounds pretty violent.

On the other hand, Damian once tried to tell Danny the truth because he didn't feel like hiding anything and the guy straight up laughed. He told Damian it was an interesting dream but would never happen in real life (he sounded pretty strained when he said that. Maybe he was constipated?)

Bonus BONUS points if Alfred knows everything (because of course he does) and is just laughing into his tea.

Panel two is drawn fully in chibi style. It shows SY's expression falling slightly taking on a more concerned look as he continues "A-Die? What's wrong? Where's Binghe?" Still looking away with an expression as if he's struggling to find what to say, SQQ responds "... He's gone." SQQ then continues whilst looking towards SY with an apologetic expression "He was slain in battle. ... I'm sorry."

Panel three shows SY with a horrified expression his shaky hands raised up as if going to cover his mouth, his whole body is shaking and his demonic butterfly flutters anxiously. SY mutters "no no no....no that can't be... He can't be-" It then shows SY launching himself at SQQ to hug him tightly for comfort as he sobs, his demonic butterfly trying to comfort him by resting on his head. SQQ looks down at him guiltily, as he wraps his arms around him and the other hand reaching up to find it's way onto SY's head. End ID]
