Omg yes and the number of fics I've read that replace Steve with Eddie as Robin's best friend? Like I don't care who you ship who with, but the Steve and Robin platonic soulmate relationship is the most important to either character's identity.

EW NOOO, Eddie could never replace Robin!!! i've written exactly one singular fic with Robin not there, and thats purely because it's set just after Season 2, before starcourt. And i plan to introduce her in that one eventually when i can get round to writing it again.

Robin belongs with Steve.

i've also seen fics where she's straight up mean and dismissive toward Steve too.
