THANK YOU MANCHESTER!
A massive thank you to everyone who came along to the latest Haçienda Classical show at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester last Saturday 13th July. This was our 8th show at this wonderful outdoor venue and, I think, our best one yet.
As well as our usual fabulous singers Yvonne Shelton, Rae Hall and Melanie Williams, we were joined onstage by our special guests Ce Ce Rogers, Ultra Naté and Alison Limerick who were all amazing.
As always, the Manchester Camerata orchestra conducted by Tim Crooks and the AMC Gospel Choir were all incredible as was Peter Hook.
This year I DJ’d before the show, as did Peter Hook, Greg Wilson and David Morales who all did a magnificent job warming up the enthusiastic crowd ahead of the show.
Afterwards, while completely buzzing after the encores, it was straight to The Albert Hall for the superb afterparty where I closed the evening after DJ Paulette, Ultra Naté and David Morales.
I made it home at 4:30am, 23 hours after waking up, and collapsed into bed with a massive smile on my face grateful for you love and support. Shall we do it again next year?
