Video
I did a bit of sniffing around online, and after filtering out the company's articles, it seems that the ZipStitch(or other brands just like it) is no more effective than a regular butterfly stitch. And it only works for situations that you would use a butterfly stitch for as well- narrow lacerations. So, while the product shown in the video is much more affordable for people without health coverage, this seems to be just a matter of adding some bells and whistles to an existing product so it can be sold at a considerable mark up.
So! Let's save you even MORE money in your first aid kit! I get the medical tape shown in this video from the dollar store. Meaning a buck twenty-five would give me about fifty butterfly stitches, AND you can use the tape for other things.
youtube
These are $30 for one but stitches at the hospital are more expensive so this is pretty damn great

Medicinal Garden Kit
Inside your Medicinal Garden Kit, you’ll find 10 smaller packages with each type of seed. 4,818 high-quality, NON-GMO seeds packaged in US.
Even if you’ve never planted anything before, you’ll have no trouble growing these 10 plants. You will find details on how to plant, grow, and harvest each one in the free Herbal Medicinal Guide: From Seeds to Remedies that you'll receive with your Medicinal Garden Kit.
You cannot find these 10 seeds in one package anywhere else. Before I made it, I had been looking for something like this for a long, long time.
And I would have been willing to pay A LOT for it. Just think about how much money you spend at the pharmacy. The average American spends $1742 each year. I think your new backyard pharmacy will save you at least a few hundreds of that. That's what I call a good investment.
BUT, that doesn't even matter, because you are investing in something much more important: your health! If you want to treat yourself naturally, than this is the medicinal garden you want to have in your backyard.
Don't take your health for granted like I did. Do not wait for it to deteriorate, to do something about it. One day it might be too late. Click on the button below now to get this medicinal garden in your backyard and start taking care of your health naturally.

Oooo I feel inspired to make one
………..I like to torment myself.
So! I’m back to my usual fuckery, trying to make hand made figures instead of buying them like a normal human being. This time I’m making First Aid! Out of some action toy and plastic sheets because apparently rebuilding Gundams wasn’t hard enough
My starter pack is some white and red styrene sheets + the figure I bought off the shelf. I think these are called “Dummy 13”? Anyway
Drift figure left me with a lot of little cuts. Now I have cuts aaand burns. Nice deal~ I’ve never done anything like it before and my hands aren’t happy lmao
This thing is. Like. Super movable:D It’s neck has two joints, also it’s torso can bend in a bunch of places and ways. Even the tippy toes are movable hehe
Basically. I couldn’t paint anything bc. Well. Winter. So I decided to build out of details that are already the right color👍
It will probably need some painting anyway but not the dramatic amount and not enough to poison me

Now is the Time to Start Masking Again
If you stopped paying attention to COVID with the release of vaccines, you've missed a lot.
COVID is airborne.
Long COVID impacts 10% of people infected by COVID (though this is beginning to look like a low estimate). Risk of Long COVID goes up with each reinfection. Long COVID is worse than initially reported.
Bisexual and trans people are more likely to develop Long COVID.
Black and Hispanic folks are more likely than White folks experience more symptoms and health problems from Long COVID.
***COVID and Long COVID has much more in common with HIV and AIDS than the flu (28:19 - 38:30 of linked video)***
The Basics

[FAQ] r/ZeroCOVIDCommunity's FAQ and Resource List
"This is great and all but it's overwhelming. TL;DR?"
COVID is airborne. Long COVID is much more common (and serious/debilitating) than previously thought.
Mask with an N95 or better in all indoor spaces and outside when close to others. Improve your indoor air quality by opening windows and using fans/air filters.
Rapid tests are prone to false negatives so make sure to retest in 48 hours after exposure and/or when you develop symptoms. Isolate in the meantime. Consider upgrading to a NAAT (PlusLife, Metrix) or PCR (Lucira) if you have the money.
Things for you to do today:
buy some N95s or request some from a local mask bloc
open a window more often and/or buy an air purifier
buy the best COVID tests you can afford

Did you know?
Searching for Cane Decorating (as in the mobility aid) gets you pages of results for Christmas craft videos. Even specifiying by adding the term "disability" or "mobility" still leaves you with a bunch of DIY home decor with cane webbing, for some reason.
So! Here's some videos to get you started on making your mobility aid reflect your personality:
youtube
First is this video featuring a lot of general discussion around mobility aids and being disabled, but does feature large sections for making your aids work for you in a fashionable way--including how to wear heels while using a cane!
youtube
Next, we have this short and sweet (under 5 mins.) aesthetically pleasing video on decorating a cane, that's not just using stickers or bedazzling. It's quite a unique end-product that I haven't seen with other mobility aid customizations.
EDIT NOTE: while the above creator is femme presenting, the result is pretty gender neutral and looks like a high fantasy elf's cane!
youtube
This is another video for decorating that isn't just stickers and bedazzling, but it's much longer than the previous vids with a lot of the YouTuber (Voice Actress Cari Favole) talking about their life and disability in the first 14 minutes before starting the customization.
youtube
Last off, is this video review about just buying a walking stick that is already fashionable and customized for you.
Do you know any other videos about making your mobility aid work with your fashion & personality that you love? Feel free to add them below!

Thinking about putting together a short manual (less than 20 pages- something I can print myself and distribute) on basic DIY home medical and nursing care. Not first aid- there’s tons of that. But like, how to treat a minor skin infection or take care of someone who is sick.
What things would you want to see in such a publication?
