Could not disagree more, that gives the worst of them exactly what they want and feeds the delusions of everyone else. Far right extremists don’t want to see well thought out responses to their comments, they want to retreat into a world where they’re always right and better than everyone else. Letting their views go unquestioned supports that, and other people are more likely to fall into a cult that claims it’s telling them secret truths if literally no one ever disagrees with them.

You can’t treat them like trolls because the point is not to upset you for a power rush it’s to dehumanize you for a power rush. And silence only helps them.

i’m gonna be straight up, we’re at the point where we’ve so thoroughly proven that debate is ineffectual at best in terms of convincing shitheads of fucking anything that, if you do so now, you’re basically just a fucking ally to them

don’t fucking platform nazis. don’t give them the time of day. block them, maybe hurt their feelings too, but just block them.
