For anyone interested in Zootopia 2 who hasn't seen this elsewhere:
Disney's big expo, D23, opens tomorrow today. Everyone was expecting Z2 news, but some early pictures are coming out showing a big display.
(Note that these pictures are not mine -- I've pilfered them from /r/Zootopia, and the watermarks indicate Cinepop, but I wasn't able to find a post for these.)
Here's the "official" logo. Notice the scales on the tail of the number 2. Intriguing!
Here's a good angle of the display. A walrus, Nick and Judy in new outfits, and plenty of seafood- and nautical-based businesses. That's because...
This is apparently part of the Marshlands, which have been referred to in passing but not explored yet. I'm getting a New Orleans-type vibe from this. Just behind Judy is a sign for "blowhole decongestant", featuring a cartoon whale, which may indicate that there will be whales and/or dolphins in the new film.
Here's another angle of the scene. Hey, what's that right above the "O" in the watermark? Looks like a snake. Not coincidentally, I'm sure, from this distance it looks pretty similar to the design of Kaa from Jungle Book, or perhaps Sir Hiss from Robin Hood. That would provide a neat bookend for Nick's own Robin Hood-like design. The snake is an interesting inclusion, since the original film made no mention of sentient reptiles or amphibians.
And last, but not least, here's a closeup of the main character figures. They aren't in uniform, which has led to speculation already: are they on vacation? Conducting an undercover investigation? Have they been promoted to detectives? (Also, there's been a minor firestorm over whether Judy's paw resting on Nick's head is sporting a ring, or whether that's just an artifact of potato-quality pictures. BUT REMEMBER THE THING A FEW WEEKS AGO ABOUT NICK AND JUDY WEDDING RINGS BEING OFFERED IN JAPAN???)
EDIT: additional pictures have established that Judy is not wearing a ring.
Personally, I've been trying to decode this sign.
NO (wha?) AFTER SUNSET WITHOUT PERMIT
Mall curs? Hall cubs?
Anyway, I'm really excited about this and can't wait to hear more from the expo tomorrow.

Here are all of the images leaked so far for Frozen: Winter Festival which is new a “short-form series”
Every image has been posted by girliesandghouls on instagram!
Another project that is referred to as a “short-form series” is Zootopia+ which is on Disney+. Zootopia+ has 6 episodes that are about 7-12 minutes long each (so about the length of Frozen Fever). So hopefully it will be the same for Winter Festival! :)
On June 7th the World of Frozen documentary comes out, on June 6th the Frozen Kingdom in Japan’s Fantasy Springs fully opens, and on June 17th the Frozen Royal Castle app releases. Considering Olaf’s Frozen Adventure had it’s first trailer come out in June 2017, I think there is a good chance Winter Festival will be officially announced in June. There is also d23 expo in August it could be announced at, but these dolls come out in September so I think it could be announced sooner, even if the series itself doesn’t come out until November-ish.
#tried to explain everything I could#it’s so weird to have the dolls leak before an announcement I think it’s a first for Frozen lol#at least it gives more context than that calendar or the shopping bag lol#ifykyk#frozen: winter festival#frozen leaks#frozen theories#frozen

Disney Announces "D23 Expo Brazil" Slated For November 2024.
The Walt Disney Company is heading to Brazil this November. This will be the first major D23 Expo event to take place in Latin America
This will be the first major D23 event to take place in Latin America, though Disney has ran fan events including a D23 Expo in Japan on 2018. Other events include the Star Wars Celebration to take place across the US & Europe with a Japan edition set for 2025.
The D23 Brazil event will feature unique content from brands across the Walt Disney Company, like Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. So we should expect to see plenty of news regarding Disney films and Disney+ shows come out of this event. The event coincides in one month ahead of Disney Television Animation's 40th anniversary so we could expect panels dedicated to Disney TVA series featuring latino characters like "The Proud Family Louder And Prouder", "Hamster & Gretel", "Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur" & "Primos" and hoping for a showcase of series greenlights of latino lead shows like "SuperStar", a "NDA Preschool Series by Jose Zelaya" & the potential The Proud Family latino-lead spin-off "La Familia Avenúñez".
Brazil has become a hosts for fan events, CCXP, in São Paulo becoming a major event on the calendar, as over 280,000 fans attended the last event. Netflix also ran it’s own TUDUM fan experience there last summer.

D23 2018 To Be Held On Japan To Feb 10 to Feb 12
After an unbelievable event in 2015, D23 Expo Japan is back in 2018! This special event for Disney fans, created by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, will take place February 10–12, 2018, at Tokyo Disney Resort. The first D23 Expo in Japan was held in 2013, inspired by the original D23 Expo held in Anaheim, California (returning this summer, July 14–16!), and returns for a third time next year.
“We heard from a lot of fans about how delighted they were with the D23 Expo Japan 2013 and 2015. D23 Expo Japan 2018 promises to be even more spectacular,” said Paul Candland, President, Walt Disney Asia and President, The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Ltd. “2018 marks The Walt Disney Company’s 95th anniversary and Mickey Mouse’s screen debut’s 90th anniversary. In Japan, it marks Tokyo Disney Resort’s 35th, Disney Channel’s 15th, and the Disney★JCB Card’s 10th. We’re very excited about being able to present this great event once again, and we know our guests will have an incredible experience during the three days we have planned for them.”

This has kind of bugged me, even though I know very little Japanese... Vanitas is clearly saying “ore no kokoro no [something]”. That means “my heart’s [something]”. How does that translate into “you insignificant speck”?
Sounds kind of like he’s saying “ore no kokoro no sanshi”.
Or maybe “ore no kokoro no zanshi”?
“Danshi”?
Somehow any of those other possible translations seem to say much more to the plot. O.o Are they just trying to hide spoilers? Or am I just hearing this COMPLETELY wrong? o~o????
