I did say I was done drawing new things for Etsy this year but then the Arcane finale happened and I really wanted lil Viktor and Jayce keychains but I couldn't decide what versions of them to draw... So I just did all of them instead. Oh no... that's a lot of keychains... But it means you get to pick your favourite era/s of these little guys, carry them with you, spin them around, make em smooch, the possibilities are endless.
Thank you to my Twitch chat for helping me decide how to make 14 drawings into keychains, they voted on having Viktor on one side and Jayce on the other with the silhouettes behind them.
The keychains are open for preorder, I've started them at 24 of each available, and the stickers are in stock and will be shipped as normal. The keychains have the block-coloured silhouette of the other character behind them, the stickers do not. The keychains are approximately 2" tall and have gun metal (black/dark grey) heart shaped keyrings attached.
And a reminder that my Viktor and Jayce flower portrait wooden pins are back up for preorder after selling out, and I still have my previous Arcane stickers and customisable badges up on my Etsy.
I can’t link to my Etsy without risking Tumblr hiding the post from tag search results, but the link is in my pinned post, my carrd, I’m emptymasks on Etsy. Reblogs help support artists more than likes ❤️
[ID: 14 pixel chibi drawings of Jayce and Viktor (7 drawings of each character) from Arcane in their season 1 act 1, season 1 act 2, season 1 act 3, season 2 act 1, season 2 act 2, season 3 act 3 and their astral plane designs. These drawings are available as double-sided keychains with Viktor on one side and Jayce on the other, and also as stickers. The keychains have block-coloured silhouettes behind them of the other character, Viktor's silhouettes is purple and Jayce's is red.]
#says he wont make more etsy stuff this year and then is gonna end up 200+ keychains coming to his house#aaaa i hope people like them and buy them cos thats a lot of keychainsss#jayvik#arcane#arcane spoilers#jayce talis#viktor#viktor arcane#arcane viktor#jayce x viktor#viktor x jayce#fanart#arcane fanmerch#viktor x reader#jayce talis x reader#viktor x jayce x reader#mine#myart

As any Tank Girl fans out there will know, our gal can often be seen wearing customised army helmets. They’re a super fun accessory, so I decided a few months back to have a go at making one. I started off by picking out a couple of ones I liked in the comics (see above for an example) and worked out a design. There were a lot of sticky out bits, so I had a feeling putting it together was going to be easier said than done, but I’ve never let that stop me before and didn’t this time. I could have taken the easy route and bought a plastic helmet, which would have been soooo simple to attach things to, but me being me, I decided to go with something authentic, namely (and I quote) a ‘genuine vintage Bulgarian army M72 steel combat helmet’ which was going cheap on good ol’ ebay 👍👍. I was totally expecting to have to drill holes in this for some of the attachments, but as luck would have it, there were some readymade ones 😊. These are the other bits I used…
1 x plastic creature head – I was looking for something which resembled the head on the attached reference picture and stumbled on something perfect while rummaging through a box of random toys in a thrift store.
1 x neodymium magnet – Used to fix the creature head onto the front of the helmet.
1 x dart – To stick in one of the holes. My only complaint here was I had to buy a pack of 3 and don’t know what to do with the other 2. Maybe I can use them in some future cosplay project.
1 x wooden rod + craft feathers + 1 x plastic wall plug – Used to make an arrow to poke in another of the holes. I had to make my own arrow, as none of the ones I saw for sale would have fit.
1 x kitchen fork – Another thrift store find which looked like it would be a good stand-in for the knife in the picture if I chopped the top off.
Some straps and buckles from an old bag – Stitched together to make a carrying strap for the helmet (which I needed to hang things off).
3 x old bullets for decoration
Some bits of leather to make a bandolier type thing to hold the bullets.
1 x old cigarette box for decoration.
1 x gun keyring – This was an impulse thrift store buy, which wasn’t in the original design, but I thought would be another good decoration (there were actually so many impulse buys like this I couldn’t use them all and ended up making a Tank Girl baseball cap for the overflow – more about that another time).
One of my old teddy bears (Flapjack) to hang from the knife (really a kitchen fork) handle.
1 x old white shoelace to make a hangman’s noose for my teddy (poor Flapjack 🎻).
Acrylic paint and brushes - I’m sure y’all can guess what these were for.
1x target sticker – I bought this in a craft store, because it looked just like the target on the helmet in the picture and I wanted to save myself a tricky painting job.
It took me a while to get all of that together (as you can imagine), but eventually I was ready to go. I eased myself in gently by sticking on the target sticker. Then I did the painting bits. I seem to be getting better at this, as I managed to get through it with no major screw-ups😊. I left the paint to dry for a day and sprayed on some fixative to protect it. It seems to be doing the job, though I have no clue how long it will last.
I made my arrow from the bits mentioned above and sawed off the top of the kitchen fork to make my stand-in knife. Then I worked out how I was going to attach everything. As I said, I used a magnet for the creature head. I stuck the arrow into one of the holes and the dart into another with a plastic bung on the other side to hold it in place. For the knife, I pushed a long screw through the last hole and screwed it into the top of the handle. You can see the screw from some angles, but it was the best I could come up with and it does the job.
I hung Flapjack from the knife handle, clipped on the carry strap with its various decorations and that’s pretty much it. It’s not a bad take on the Tank Girl originals if I do say so myself, though it takes some getting used to. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bashed one of the sticky out bits on something when I’ve been walking around. Also it’s heavier at the back, so it has a tendency to slip off. As always, this isn’t a proper tutorial, but maybe it will be helpful if anyone out there is thinking of making their own Tank Girl helmet. Have fun if you do. I’m on Ko-fi if anyone is feeling generous and wants to support me in my cosplay adventures… ༻ko-fi.com/christabelq༺ It’s always super-appreciated. Bye for now. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

As an early birthday present to myself, I got this cool dinosaur backpack and some fandom-nonsense badges and keyrings to customise it with. Feels just like something I would have loved when I was a little girl, so it's going to be a good agere bag 🦖

Do you have any tips for making masc goth outfits? Especially for summer, that's what I'm struggling with the most
hello! I'm not an expert considering how much crossdressing I'm quite comfortable with and how feminine my style is in the end but I'll try! my thoughts are prolly quite generic and recycle various other people's ideas.
if it's too hot for jeans or sth worse (fake leather from plastic) i usually wear shorts, often from the women's section because they will have shorter legs (my legs are the best part of me) and often more fun materials like velvet or sth shiny. guys shorts have the too long and too boring/sporty/"casual" for a good look -disease for me most of the time. you know the cargo short type.
cut out shorts from any old trousers you wanna snip will do fine if you've got those available.
sometimes i wear tights underneath for aesthetic reasons but that may not read as masc depending on how traditional we're thinking.
too hot for boots? I'd like to get myself a pair of winklepickers but rn i have cesare gaspari's take on what a dr martens 3 eyelet platform 1461 would look with a bit more heel. A simple black dress shoe can also work rly well, like plain toe oxfords, monk strap version too if buckles are ur thing. for rain I've got rubber chelsea boots. overdressing w shoes a bit is fun because they're a thing you will see of yourself without a mirror. because I'm a bit of an xmas tree i sometimes accessorise w some flavour of leather straps (narrow recycled belts or stray bag straps) around an ankle or sth.
sun hats are fun and if it's not a bajillion degrees a woolen one will be fine too. for when it is i got myself a black wide trimmed sunny from a random grocery shop.
some shirts can be easily layered as a light jacket if you wish to have sleeves and or layers, or if the cut makes for a cool shape.
my generic tip is to avoid materials that don't breathe as much as you can and to focus on the aesthetic you want to achieve regardless of where the clothes came from, as the masculinity or femininity isn't all in the labelling. think of yourself as a character designer when outfit planning if that's a helpful way to conceptualise.
and when secondhand shopping i usually just browse by colour first, then fabric (visually), then i look at the actual piece like is it sth i could wear or customise into a wearable thing, is the condition ok for what I'd get it for, is it a shite material that gets sweaty easily etc. (sometimes i still get crappy materials cuz they work for the aesthetic like dude i can't afford leather trousers even secondhand and most see through stuff is like polyester or some shit.)
I also buy accessories secondhand and attach them into clothing or wear them on my body in some unintended way. like my fav way to wear my velvet shorts is to safety pin a thrifted black feathery chain necklace to the top so the charms and chains dangle a bit below the short leg.
dissecting old clothes that are no longer useful for anything else is also fun. got some fun zippers and studs from old pleather jacket and boots that were rubbish otherwise. and leather bits with eyelets for laces that I'm yet to slap on anything but their time will come.
a hardware store can be your friend for diy accessories, good for chains, o-rings and the like. got myself a shitton of chain from the boat section last year (and am yet to chop it into smaller accessories cuz i didnt remember to get a tool to cut it w... wore it as a harness a couple of times by stitching it together w safety pins tho).
craft shops for keyring materials are also friends, good for attaching aforementioned pieces.
so. I'd say create a silhouette you like then accessorise and keep your eyes open for pieces that could be a part of something bigger with or without some modifications. in terms of masculinity and or femininity I'd look at like traditional formal and smart wear from whatever historical period u wish and looking into the details that speak to you, then boiling them into the why that's appealing - is it the cut, the material, the fit, the shape - and finding or making sth that embraces some of those aspects.
this was a rly fun thing to think about so thank you for asking!
#this became so long haha#also disclosure time i actually wanna get a long black skirt for next summer but i haven't found one i like ... nor have I decided what#i want exactly so i haven't been able to commission it (too tired to make a thing from scratch haha)#it goes into the fun silhouette category for me#sprucetree asks#fashion advice#(subtype: questionable)

Eco-Friendly Party Essentials and Gifts in Auckland
Creating the perfect gift or planning the best memorable event needs consideration that can portray style along with sustainability. In Auckland, it has a large amount of eco-friendly products where functionality comes together with responsible environmental measures. From sugarcane plates to wooden cutlery sets and wholesale keyrings and even Christmas gift ideas, there is a large variety available in Auckland that would fulfill all of your requirements.
Sugarcane Plates in Auckland: A Great Alternative
To anyone who desires to reduce the footprint in the environment, sugarcane plates in Auckland are one of the good alternatives for conventional disposable tableware. The biodegradable plates are made of bagasse, which is the fiber left behind during the squeezing of juice from the sugarcane. It is ideal for parties, picnics, and corporate events held in Auckland because it can withstand very hot or cold foods, and it's heat-resistant, too.
Many local suppliers stock sugarcane plates in various sizes- perfect for different meal portions. You can use them even for finger foods or fully-course meals. These plastic-free, eco-friendly plates carry no guilt and are perfect even for events that have a lot of themes, from rusty to modern chic.
Wooden Cutlery Sets in Auckland Style with an Eco-Friendly Twist
The best of its kind in sustainability would go with the pairing of wooden cutlery and the use of sugarcane plates. Sugarcane plates are eco-friendly. Cutlery is a combination made out of renewable resources; however, it is biodegradable. So, one usually incorporates it in any environmentally-conscious function or event. This generally encompasses fork and knives together with spoons and could quite likely be able to tackle just about anything that gets plated.
You can get wooden cutlery sets in Auckland either on retail or wholesale platforms. Some suppliers can customize the orders to allow you to come up with a personal detail of your event. Whether is it a wedding, a corporate function, or a casual setting, wooden cutlery sets will come in handy providing you with a practical style.
Wholesale Keyrings in Auckland, NZ-Practical and Customisable
For business purposes or events, wholesale keyrings in Auckland NZ can be the most affordable and flexible promotional and giveaway products. Auckland provides an opportunity to source these products in a variety of materials: metal, plastic, or eco-friendly options such as bamboo. Suppliers usually offer custom designs to include logos, names, or designs on them, thus creating unique keepsakes.
Keyrings are always good souvenirs and will make great gifts for your guests, clients, or employees. They are practical, light in weight, and can be printed according to the theme you are using for your occasion or brand. Buying in quantity can save you money with sufficient items to give out.
Christmas Gifts in Auckland: Ideas and Tips
Getting just the right Christmas gifts takes center stage during the holidays, and Auckland is full of options: local crafts, unique artisanal goods, even all-natural gift sets made out of recycled and eco-friendly elements. Think personal touches-the perfect ornaments, handmade candles, gourmet hampers.
Eco-friendly gifts are more popular, such as reusable kitchenware, sustainable accessories in fashion, and plant-based beauty products. Supporting local businesses is a good idea to get unique gift options while simultaneously helping the community's economy.
In a nutshell, Auckland offers ample choices of sustainable and conscious events and gifting options. By opting for eco-friendly products such as sugarcane plates, wooden cutlery sets, and keyrings customizable with your designs, you can make your celebration stylish and responsible. You can ensure that your Christmas celebrations are meaningful to both you and the people you care about by opting for local and sustainable gift options.
