AITA for making money?

I (F5) got told to go outside cus i was on vr a lot (which is so dumb btw) and while i was out i thought hey maybe i can make a lemonade stand or something but theres SO many other kids doing lemonade sales!!!! its honestly ridiculous

so i saw an oppritunity to be the supplier for this market!! i bought all the lemons in the area (making sure the grocery stores dont get in the way) and now im making BANK selling these lemons all over the world!! but my parents r like, concerned for me ig? cus i “took it too far” and “the arson was a little unnecessary” i dont even know what arson means tbh. i could probably buy new parents with all the money i have now

Capra is the youngest of two (technically three, though like their older brother, Scorpio, is not aware of having a half sister)

Moved with his mom and Scorpio to the lower district from the middle district after their father left

Was 12 when Scorpio left after their mom found out about the drugs, and gave him the ultimatum to quit or leave

Like their father, Scorpio left, leaving Capra with the belief that one more person in his life had ultimately chosen something or someone else over him (and his mom).

Capra started acting out. Getting into fights at school, shoplifting from the local stores, etc.

His mom eventually started picking up extra shifts at work and even a second job on the weekends to be able to pay the bills and keep food on the table. Sometimes even making excuses that she wasn't hungry when they were in between checks and she hasn't been able to make it to the grocery store.

At 15 Capra ran away under the impression that if his mom didn't have him to worry about that maybe things would be better and easier for her. She wouldn't have to spend so much time and effort and money into taking care of him.

This lasted for a few months when Capra was picked up by the police on accounts of larceny and assault after getting caught shoplifting from a store in the upper district and getting into a physical altercation with the security guard that was there.

After getting out of the juvenile detention center he moved back home until graduating (winding up getting held back a year because of everything)

He did continue shoplifting and stealing from people, though sticking to the middle and lower districts where the police were less likely to care.

Properly moved out at 19.

Started getting involved with Citizen Uprising before joining the Violent Messengers when he started to feel like whatever the CU doing just wasn't enough

Graffiti and arson are the two main outlets he uses for his form of activism, going under cover of night and doing anything he can to keep his identity hidden.

I would like the infodump about the dragon husbands pls

So William and Henry both work together to create magic and entertainment for the city cus it brings in good tides for their areas of land, they gain wealth and stability through agreement with the city, consistent food in exchange for the protection of the city. William starts luring and killing kids to gain more magic, but it’s black magic, dealing with souls and it continually corrupts him.

Henry and William both make an agreement with a wealthy human family to make golems for their tavern. They both do it in trade for things and it’s not something they expected to bring anything good for them but it ends up being a great thing for their relations with the village.

So William starts to delve into dark magic, trying to make his own magic stronger. But  that completely consumes him. He loses any ounce of empathy he had and becomes corrupt (not that he was that good to begin with). He kills charlie but her being a dragon is why she can give the gifts to the other kids, who are all human except for Evan and Elisabeth (and possibly Cassidy too, but I haven’t decided yet lol)

We have a generally basic fnaf story for the most part, but minus a lot of the security guard stuff because that has to be slightly different lol. Mike accidentally kills Evan, Elisabeth gets too close to Baby and dies, it’s pretty standard for the most part on this front lol

Jeremy is a sorcerer who was called to try and undo the magic of what like, binds the golems to the spirits but is put in danger while doing so. Mike saves him and that’s how they meet.

This whole time William is on the down-low because while he was trying to disenchant the golems Cassidy managed to curse him so much that it damaged his magic severely.

So, Michael finds him and they reunite, William's magic is corrupt and his form is deteriorating due to it. They have a fight and Michael commits dragon arson.

Now at this point for whatever reason, a lot of the golems have been let loose, and so mike and Henry work together to lure all the golems to one location (not necessarily a tavern but ya know) to burn them and such. And so they also find William, who due to the amount of black magic he’s messed with has become really un-alive but not because he’s a zombie, his form was just so broken it ended up becoming more similler to a golem in a way if that makes sense.

They destroy all the golems, Henry had to die to do that though cus of the amount of black magic that was bound to William's creations, he managed to save Mike, but Mike’s own magic had been severely expended in the process as well.

Jeremy and Mike have Gregory and things are all good and dandy for a good couple of years.

Now the main events of my au take place.

All but a shard of William’s ‘heart’ had been destroyed, everything else was crushed and burned to dust with nothing left. And the only reason being is that dragon hearts are generally extremely powerful on their own, and with the amount William did to his own heart a piece had managed to live on, and sadly that’s enough. So Vanessa found that shard and William basically had possession of her through it, it takes over her. So 

Vanny has magic and is hellbent on finding mike and dragging him down, and so they find them and there’s basically the events of the comic, but this go around we get magic fights. Vanny was only able to fight Mike because beforehand she had fucked with his magic because William knows how to do that.

Can’t talk about much else cus it’ll spoil the comic lol XD

I love this girl so much okay, she's a disaster. Very friendly and sweet! But hyper, easily angered, impulsive, loud, brash, headstrong, prone to the world's worst tunnel vision while in dangerous situations, will probably bite, etc. Also her only friend is a baby fish.

I don't know what possessed Cuttlefish to put an actual gun in this child's hands, but he did and now everyone has to fucking deal with it I guess. Something about that 'look in her eyes' and I, as her creator, couldn't tell you what the hell that means. Like what 'look' are you looking for, you rickety old coot? Rabies??

Either way, this child is armed and dangerous now, and god help the Octarians set up against her. Not to say that she's particularly skilled of course, especially at the start. She's not the type to bother with such fancy things as 'precision' or 'aiming' or shit like that, she's more the 'Shoot-Wildly-Cus-They-Can't-Hurt-You-If-They're-Atomized' sort. She runs out of ink a LOT

And like there wasn't enough she's also being hunted down like a dogfish through Alterna by her old shift manager from work, a fella named Mono who I've mentioned before, he belongs to the friend who made the art you see, and he's an extremely high ranking member of Grizzco under strict order to kill her Salmonid companion Sammy. And Amp if necessary!

Dw tho, she'll beat the shit out of him and they'll become friends eventually. As you do.

She's a tiny trash gremlin armed with an actual real gun made for actual real cephalopod combat, all while living on miso instant noodles and wasabi chips, sleeping on the couch in the Lobby, and only owning like three pairs of underwear. She will commit arson if left unsupervised, and I should be cast down for inflicting her upon the world of Splatoon.

Anyway I love her somebody hug this child. And help pay for her therapy.

The main characters:

Prince Morgan Fox Chamari (I made the picrews a while ago, so they might not be up to date, but it’ll do for now) (also they didn’t have that many option for make up and stuff, so i just drew on a lot of it)

He sounds like a snob but he’s really not

He’s 5’8, uses he/him, caucasian, pansexual, a leo (yes astrology is swag), he is way too nice for his own good, and trusts people way too easily (which might turn out to be a problem)

He has light brown, curly hair, green eyes, and he’s a prince, so probably like expensive clothing

Morgan does have magic, but I’m not really sure how it works yet, I only know that he kinda sucks at it at first, and he needs to find some kind of scepter to help him with it

Willow Ivy Stara

5’1, she/her, black, aromantic asexual, a virgo, also a nice person in general, but she’s not an idiot about it, you know? She is probably the one that keeps the single braincell of the team in place

Dark, coily hair, dark skin, brown eyes, the prettiest smile you’ll ever see, and she likes wearing dresses and flowers in her hair! She’s also a very gifted healer (maybe i’ll talk more about powers in my world later)(because she doesn’t just have healing, she can do damage too (basically the opposite of healing) which is really rare in my world, but it also strengthens her healing powers)

She joined the team because she ran away from her parents, because they were forcing her to marry another healer (cus she’s aroace right) (and the other healer is a gay man who she later finds out also ran away, and joined the villain!)

Raine Dayla-Jules

Probably the character I’ve put the most effort into, which also means she’s one of the characters who gets the most traumatized (love you Raine)

5’8, she/her, caucasian, lesbian, a leo, on the good side, but leaning towards morally grey, extreme trust issues, she is broke and homeless and a thief, says she is an orphan, but really just doesn’t want to get into her tragic backstory

Lots of blonde, curly hair, blue eyes, freckles, various scars all over her body (which she mostly gets through the story)

She had a normal childhood until she was six years old, when she was kidnapped (because of her powers, hydrokinesis and cryokinesis (is that what it is in english? idk, ice and water like a waterbender), she hasn’t seen her family after that (but she will at the end, I’m not that evil)

I mentioned enemies to lovers on the last post, and Raine is part of that<3

Ember Aurora Ilani

The villain with redemtion arc, because every story needs that, but believe it or not she’s actually a pretty good person, and she does what she thinks would be the best for everyone

5’6, she/her, asian, demisexual lesbian, a scorpio, she has pyrokinesis (again, hope that’s the right word), and that’s where the arson i talked about comes from, occasionally borrows that one braincell from Willow

Like, yes, she technically is a good person, but that will not stop her from setting a house on fire on purpose

Dark brown, long and straight/slightly wavy hair, hazel eyes, tan skin, terrible childhood of course

Like, ‘older brother dying in a fire that she accidently caused, parents hating her and abusing her because of it, running away at age 10, becoming best friends with the villain’ kind of terrible childhood

The other part of the enemies to lovers! (Don’t worry, it’s gonna be a slow-burn)(the burning part might be literal)(but it’s gonna be fine, we have lots of character development and no power imbalance, they both hurt and help each other)

Hawke Edavine

Typical badboy, poor but wholesome family, I might kill his dad though, because all of the main characters has all their parents intact

6’1 (I like that it’s a foot height difference between him and Willow), he/him, latino, straight (I guess they needed some rep too), a capricorn, probably nicer than he looks

Dark messy hair (like, think Percy Jackson), brown eyes, tan skin, bushy eyebrows, think about what a straight woman would find attractive in a man (what do straight women like? Flynn Rider? Think that, just younger)

Used to be best friends with Raine when they were like 11-14 years old maybe, but drama happened, they fell out, they will spend the first few chapter hating each other (also we all know and hate queerbating, so obviously I’m gonna straight-bait these two at first<3)

I just got into BTS this past month and was wondering if you had recommendations or favorite Jhope (and overall BTS) content/videos to check out for a complete beginner! Fate and Phantasms #133: Scathach (Assassin)

Today on Fate and Phantasms, we’re once again make Cu Chulainn’s teacher and professional old ha- I mean badass, Scathach! This time she’s an assassin, turning heads at the beach before turning them just a little bit more to snap their neck.

Race and Background

Like the other summer servants, we’re not changing your race and background that much. You’re still a Half Elf, giving you +1 to Dexterity and Intelligence, as well as +2 to Charisma. You also get Darkvision, Fey Ancestry that makes you harder to charm and impossible to put to sleep, and Skill Versatility in two skills- We’ll get more of your beachy stuff later, so for now grab Athletics and Religion.

Like last time you’re still a Sage, giving you proficiency with Arcana and History.

Ability Scores

Scathach’s one of those people who’s good at everything, so we’ve got to turn to point buy for this one. Set your Charisma to 14 to set off a beach panic when you show up. Your Dexterity and Intelligence are both 13- Surviving fights in a bikini requires the former, but you’re also good at carving runes too. Your Wisdom and Strength are 12: Strength is necessary for a spear, but you’ve got daggers to tide you over for a bit. That being said you’re still pretty smart, even though it’s summer vacation. Finally, your Constitution is 10. We just need everything, and something had to fall in last place.

Class Levels

1. Fighter 1: First level fighters get a fighting style, and Thrown Weapon Fighting makes using thrown (or kicked) weapons less painful for you, but more painful for everyone else. You also get a Second Wind once per short rest for a bit of healing.

Finally, you’re proficient in Strength and Constitution Saves, as well as Acrobatics and Intimidation. Your star pupil still has physical and mental scars from your teaching style.

2. Wizard 1: The fighter levels makes your weapons better, but you still need an AC that isn’t bad, and that’s what we’re here for. First level wizards get first level Spells that they can cast and prepare with their Intelligence, as well as an Arcane Recovery, letting you recharge spell slots on a short rest with a total level equal to half your wizard level rounded up.

For cantrips, you get Sword Burst to summon multiple Gae Bolgs, and True Strike to be slightly better with just one. You get more spells than this, but your important ones are Mage Armor, to make your AC less bad, and Charm Person for more beach panic.

3. Wizard 2: Your second level of wizard makes you a Bladesinger once more, giving you performance proficiency, as well as a Bladesong. A number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest, you can start a bladesong that lasts a minute. While active, you can add your intelligence modifier to your AC and Concentration saves, get 10′ extra walking speed, and have advantage on dexterity checks. That means your AC, with bladesong and mage armor, is now 16. Not bad for a bikini.

4. Wizard 3: Third level wizards get second level spells. Enhance Ability will help make up for how MAD this build is, and Magic Weapon will make your Gae Bolg a little more special.

5. Fighter 2: Back in fighter now, this level gives you an Action Surge, letting you take a second action in a single turn once per short rest. Multitasking is useful.

6. Fighter 3: Third level fighters get a martial archetype, and the Rune Knight will give you plenty of rune magic that won’t bother with spell slots. You become a Rune Carver, letting you learn two runes at this level and apply them to weapons, armor, or other objects at the end of a long rest. These runes grant benefits to whoever wields them, and they last until your next long rest. 

Right now you get the Stone rune, enhancing your darkvision and giving you advantage on insight checks. Also, once per short rest you can invoke the rune, forcing a wisdom save on a creature nearby. If they fail, they’re charmed for up to a minute, becoming incapacitated and having 0 movement. It’s not quite stunned, but you have effectively removed someone from the game until they succeed on their save.

You also get the Cloud rune, giving you advantage on Sleight of Hand and Deception checks, to make this assassin build more... assassiny. You can also invoke this rune once per short rest to redirect an attack within 30′ of you.

Finally, you gain Giant Might, spending a bonus action to transform yourself for a minute a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus. You become Large, have advantage on strength checks and saves, and deal an extra 1d6 damage once per turn.

7. Fighter 4: When you finally get your first Ability Score Improvement, spend it on some more Strength for better stabbing.

8. Fighter 5: Fifth level fighters get an Extra Attack each attack action, giving you plenty of opportunity to test out that new strength. They say experience is the best teach. Well, second best.

9. Rogue 1: Yes, yes, it’s another 3-class build. As a rogue you get Persuasion proficiency, as well as Thieves’ Cant, a language. You also get a Sneak Attack, extra damage you can add to an attack with a ranged or finesse weapon once per turn. Thrown weapons are ranged, but if your DM doesn’t subscribe to the Red Hare School of Archery you can always just use a dagger. Remember, you don’t have to use dexterity for the attack, just make it with a ranged or finesse weapon.

Finally, you get Expertise in Acrobatics and Persuasion, making you a true gem of the beach, and also making scorpion kicking spears into people slightly less of an unrealistic fighting style.

10. Rogue 2: Second level rogues get a Cunning Action, letting you dash, disengage, or hide as a bonus action. Between this and your action surge, you can get a lot done in a turn.

11. Rogue 3: At third level, you become a Swashbuckler. Your Fancy Footwork makes it so creatures you attack can’t make opportunity attacks against you for the rest of the turn. Also, your Rakish Audacity adds your charisma to your initiative, and you can make sneak attacks against creatures if no other creatures are within 5′ of you or it, and you are in melee range.

12. Rogue 4: Use this ASI to bump up your Intelligence for a stronger bladesong and spells.

13. Rogue 5: Fifth level rogues can use their reaction to make an Uncanny Dodge when attacked, halving the damage you take. If you’re the only one in a campaign wearing a bikini, you’ll probably need that.

14. Rogue 6: Use your second round of Expertise to enhance your Arcana and History. Even in the middle of summer you’re not a slacker.

15. Rogue 7: Once again Evasion rears its head, meaning your failed dex saves now deal as much damage as someone else’s successes, and your successes do no damage at all. Again- bikinis won’t stop a fireball, it’s better to just not get hit at all.

16. Rogue 8: Use this ASI for more Strength again, giving you a more powerful Gae Bolg.

17. Rogue 9: Your final level of rogue gives you Panache, an action to make a persuasion check against a creature’s insight. If you succeed, one of two things happen: hostile creatures have disadvantage on attacks against people other than you, lasting up to a minute, until another ally jumps into the fray against them, or you two are separated. Nonhostiles become charmed for a minute or until your team does anything harmful to it. Nothing quite like sowing a bit of beach chaos!

18. Fighter 6: Finishing things off in fighter gives you another ASI, which we’re putting into Constitution for some more HP and and stronger runes.

19. Fighter 7: Your penultimate level grants you a Runic Shield, using your reaction to force a re-roll on an attack. You can use this a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus. You also learn how to carve a Storm Rune, giving you advantage on Arcana checks, and you can’t be surprised. As a bonus action, you can invoke the rune to enter a propehetic state. While in that state you can use your reaction to grant advantage or disadvantage on attack rolls, saves, or checks. Like all the others, you can do this once per short rest.

20. Fighter 8: Your final level gives you another ASI, and another boost to your Constitution. Again, not the flashiest way to end a build, but it’s always useful.

Pros:

Your runes give you a leg up on your skill checks, and even more in character, you can give those runes to others, effectively becoming their teacher.

Your swashbuckler skills and Cloud rune combine to make you effective at shutting down enemies, letting you affect the flow of battle as you see fit.

Sneak attacks are good, especially when you have multiple attacks to fish for them with. You can deal a pretty good amount of damage each turn if you want to.

Cons:

Without your bladesinging or magic, your AC is pretty bad. Turns out bikinis aren’t always the most practical outfit for adventuring.

The most in-character weapon you’ve got is a spear, and that only just barely works within the rules. If you’re willing to swallow your pride and just use daggers this won’t be an issue, but if you were okay not playing Scathach in your DND game you wouldn’t have read all this crap, would you?

This build is SUPER MAD. If you really wanted this build to get off the ground at all, it’d be best to save it for an incredibly unlikely set of die rolled stats.

How good are you at controlling your emotions?

“Depends: what’s mature? You mean do I like R-rated movies or GI Joe reruns?”

Okay, um. This next one is meant to ask if you’ve ever cheated or been cheated on in a relationship, but - well, you are The Cheat, as you said, so--

“The name’s got nothing to do with that. I chose it cus I help my bros cheat at stuff - sometimes Ramiro, sometimes my main man Ben. Ajax, not so much. Dumpwad.”

So you don’t cheat on women? 

“I didn’t say that. I just said it’s not how I got the name... but for what it’s worth, yeah, I can be monogamous. When I wanna be. And if my dates don’t, that’s their business, not mine, right?”

Does that mean you’ve had someone else be with the person you’re interested in before? How did you play it? Were you afraid of stepping on their toes?

*only now putting away the switchblade* “Pssh, Hal didn’t have toes. Or if he did, they were where his brain was. That’s what drove Samantha to me at first: common sense. For me and her, I mean. And she’d make out with me like a bandit if I kept up her soy crisp fix. Didn’t last, though. Sam’s an activist; I'm more of a declaw-ist. Just wouldn’t have worked. Pity - it really stuck in Hal’s craw once it registered.”

What’s your relationship history beyond that?

“Oh, y’know. Ladies. Lots of them. Great looking girls, hot babes...”

The Cheat, we’re going to need, like. Specifics.

“You got a specific. You got Sam. What, you want I should print off a list? Hack into The Cheat’s Ladies database for you?”

Well, no, you don’t have to go that far... let’s simplify it. What’s the worst date you’ve ever been on? 

“That’s all? That’s an easy one. I worked with this band Advantage on a promo bit. I thought the lead singer would be a good date, or at least a cool story to tell later? But it turned out, under all the makeup and leopard print, she’s hairier than the shower plug after a long morning. Way too obsessed with tiger sharks for my liking too.” *shivers*  

How adorably shallow. And the best date?

“Similar story, actually! The band was Awkward Social Sun this time. Now Stampers? She got what I like. We pigged out on skim milk and gummy bears, watched some ABA basketball. Good times. Only sticking point was, she was closeted at the time for contractual reasons. But you can’t win ‘em all.”

If you meet someone you fancy, like, um... Stampers? How do you ‘graft’ them? Are you boldly affectionate, or shyly admiring?

“I let them take in The Cheat in The Cheat’s natural habitat. If they like what they see, they can claim it. If it’s up to me to make the first move, though, I lay on the charm, fluff my hair, try a one-handed pushup. Even if I don’t pull that last one off, they’re all up ons after that.”

What’s the biggest romantic lesson you’ve ever learned from all this?

“Besides ‘check the contract’? There’s a few - every lady brings a new one. ‘Tight pants don’t accentuate all the subtleties Ramiro says they would.’ ‘No one says ‘twees’ anymore.’ ‘It’s probably not okay that he kicks you so much.’ Stuff like that.”

What would you say is ‘your type on paper’?

“Lined.”

“Lined paper. It’s what I write my animation scripts on.” *snickers*
