No one is ready for me to call them boyfriends in the ‘rich boy who didn’t know he liked boys and his feral street boyfriend’ way [no one cares about 2010s nxt and my weird pairings]
@sobbingintorandyortonsfupa you gotta hear me out on this one

You know....
I'm bummed I wasn't watching during the Curtis Axel era - seeing him win the IC Belt live would have been pretty great

in case anyone is ever looking for specific footage of The Miztourage… I can probably find it.
Well, other than the one segment I want to find so badly.
It’s Miz, Bo, and Axel standing in the ring, and Dean Ambrose is up at the top of the ramp. Ambrose says to Miz, “I don’t care that you’re standing behind two bodyguards, I might come to the ring and whoop your ass anyways” or something like that.

I’m going to disagree with Ted Dibiase Jr and Curtis Axel. I don’t feel like they “dropped out”. Instead, WWE failed them. They had the talent. They royally screwed Axel with his first gimmick. And none of his storylines drew the fans in. His Heyman guy stint was decent but still not where it should have been with his talent. Dibiase… I feel like if they had tried to do something original with him it would have worked. Instead, they made him into a modern day version of his father and it didn’t work. Coming back from that wasn’t easy as most fans couldn’t see him as anything but his father’s son.
Now, obviously I don’t know what went on backstage so there could be more to the overall story. But for me and what I know, WWE failed them.
