Last Time on Family Matters- Session 3

Nov 5th, 2016

One of the vampires that Miss Mercer had provided to Cordell as backup, a toreador named Brandy, decides to stay with the group for a while after the meeting at Eleanora’s. Very early in the morning, Soup returns to the hotel after his side quest in Milan. The group decide to waste away the remainder of the early morning by raiding the hotel bar, as Akari is sick of Wolfgang’s whining about Eleanora’s brother ghosting him after the initial text. Paul Allen is unfortunately left up in the room, as he is still recovering from his milk incident.

Wolfgang ends up charming a crunchy hippie couple from michigan, currently backpacking across europe, and is invited up to their room for a threeway and some consensual blood letting. Meanwhile, Akari threatens the hotel staff for daring to attempt to open the curtains for the other guests eating breakfast.

The crew sleep the rest of the day away, and come nightfall head back to the bar for a while to kill time before their meeting with Eleanora and Rosario’s sire. Akari leaves early for the date she had planned with Anthonio.   

The two of them have a pleasant evening, but Akari fails her feeding roll later on in the night and gets a little lost in the sauce. She manages to snap out of it before draining him, although he is left dazed and clearly suffering blood loss, so she brings him some orange juice and cookies and it’s honestly a really tender and nice moment. After care is important, kids.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang head back to Eleanora’s flat for their meeting. They meet with the twins' sire, Magdalene De Rossi, who openly scolds Eleanora and Rosario for getting themselves into this situation and treats them more like petulant children than vampires. Magdalene expresses a fondness for Cordell’s, um, let’s say merciless methods, and carries out the conversation in italian. She implies that there may be a Giovanni influence behind the spectre problem, however she herself has no knowledge of who in the family it could be, and explains that the party will not get much farther in their search as the family is not one to conduct business with strangers.   

As the group leaves the flat, Rosario catches up to them on the street and invites them to his cousin’s wedding next weekend, as a way to get to know the family and move past their status as “strangers”.   

The group then head back to the hotel, with Cordell stopping along the way to take a quick slurp from a street musician.
