Polres Tanggamus Buru Pelaku Percobaan Pencurian Motor

TANGGAMUS - Polres Tanggamus bergerak cepat melakukan identifikasi dan mengumpulkan barang bukti di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) percobaan pencurian sepeda motor (Curanmor) di minimarket yang ada di Pekon Negara Batin, Kecamatan Kota Agung Barat. Kasi Humas Polres Tanggamus Iptu M. Yusuf, SH, mengungkapkan, identifikasi dan pemeriksaan TKP dilakukan pihaknya setelah menerima laporan korban pada layanan terpadu 110 Polri. “Pagi tadi tadi telah dilakukan pemeriksaan TKP dan mengumpulkan barang bukti serta rekaman CCTV setelah laporan korban masuk melalui layanan terpadu call center 110,” ungkap Iptu M. Yusuf mewakili Kapolres Tanggamus AKBP Siswara Hadi Chandra, S.I.K., Minggu (19/2/2023). Kasi Humas menegaskan, paska identifikasi tersebut, pihaknya juga telah membentuk tim gabungan guna melakukan penyelidikan perkara dan pengejaran terhadap pelakunya. “Melalui tim tersebut, diharpakan dapat menangkap pelaku percobaan Curanmor tersebut,” tegasnya. Kasi Humas menjelaskan, kronologis kejadian percobaan Curanmor tersebut pada Sabtu tanggal 18 Februari 2023 sekitar pukul 20.30 WIB telah terjadi tindak pidana percobaan Curanmor sepeda motor milik korban DE warga Kecamatan Semaka Kabupaten Tanggamus. Korban yang memang bekerja di gerai Alfamart Pekon Negera Batin Kecamatan Kota Agung Barat tersebut mendapati bahwa ada seorang laki-laki menggunakan switer berwarna abu-abu hendak menaiki motornya. Pelaku sendiri dipegoki oleh warga yang hendak belanja, sehingga ia sontak keluar dari toko dan berteriak dan warga mengejar pelaku namun tidak terkejar dan pelaku menghilang. “Motor korban mengalami kerusakan pada stop kontak, sehingga stop kontak tidak berpungsi sebagai mana mestinya, dan menghubungi nomer pengaduan polisi 110,” jelasnya. Kesempatan itu, Kasi Humas juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada salah satu warga yang memergoki pelaku sehingga dapat menggagalkan Curanmor. “Polres Tanggamus mengucapkan terima kasih atas kepedulian dan kerjasama salah satu warga yang telah menggagalkan pencurian tersebut,” ucapnya. Kesempatan itu, Kasi Humas terus mengimbau masyarakat untuk lebih waspada saat memarkirkan kendaraan serta melakukan antisipasi dini dengan memasang kunci ganda atau alarm tambahan pada kendaraannya. “Melalui pencegahan sedini mungkin, diharapkan terhindar dari Curanmor. Dan untuk memutus Curanmor, kami harap masyarakat tidak membeli kendaraan hasil kejahatan guna memutus mata rantai aksi Curamor,” tutupnya. Sementara itu, korban DE dalam keterangannya mengaku berterima kasih atas respon kepolisian yang telah menerima laporan dan mengidentifikasi TKP. “Saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada kepolisian telah menindaklanjuti laporan saya terkait percobaan pencurian motor saya,” ucapnya.
