ok i gotta know who is All-Mulhara and i LOVE your names, is there a an existing naming convention you've chosen for your OCs?

This is gonna be a long one, so I'll put the naming conventions under the cut :>

All-Mulhara, AKA Almulhara, The All Maker, etc is one of the Original deities in Hematemesis. His counterpart is All-Ahora/An'Ahora, the All Queen.

All-Mulhara is a nebulous, technology based god. He rarely takes a mortal form, opting to instead talk to his various priests directly via divine brain blast, only constructing a body when it absolutely necessary to do so.

His son, Ausverai, ends up getting the brunt of his father's holy work since All-Mulhara is so hands off.

Mulhara likes to spend his time creating concepts/gods, and constructing artificial beings. The Rodarans are the first people he ever created, entirely of metal and silicone, before eventually delegating the construction of the Ofrians to, well, Ofris. (Ofris and Mullhara have a.... strained relationship, to say the least.)

All-Mulhara functions off of very black and white logic, thus often failing to see the consequences of his actions before they happen. This led to one of his few mortal forms being placed into the care of his clergy, who cared for him, and later Ausverai, for several generations.

Despite his limitations, All-Mulhara is fun-loving and spontaneous, with a bleeding heart for those who suffer.

His holy symbols include suns and eclipses, along with vines and wires.

Names are very heavily dependent on where the character comes from!

Algelhi (Where both Rhyvet and Yeirek cultuerally come from) tend to focus accentuation in the first syllable of the name. Algelhi names are mostly comprised of short vowel and hard consonants, and almost always remain at two syllables. The last letter/sound in an Algelhi names indicates gender, so hard sounds are 'masculine' and soft sounds are 'feminine'

For example, theres Rhyvet, Yeirek, and Soutet would be 'masculine' names, while Yeillein, Lainell, and Foila would be 'feminine'.

Fun fact, it's an Algelhi custom to name your children the opposite of what you want for them! It's believed by naming a child, you are giving them a ward for a specific kind of evil. Yeirek means "death bringer", so his parents wanted him to live a long and happy life.

Ausvardian names are meant to be flowery and soft. Ausverai, Mhere (pronounced Fair), Aestus, and Ofris are all examples. All names are very alveolar in nature, with long vowels, and often times comes with prefixes (such as All-Mulhara, usually used to denote importance). Ausvardians don't have any gender-based naming system, so they tend to focus on random things in nature that the parents enjoy. Ausverai means "Light filtering through water".... or more succinctly, "Sparkling Water." Mhere means "Torch". Ausvardians are the "Braelyns" and "Ashleigheighs" of the Hema world. There's almost always an extra vowel where it doesn't need to be.

More examples of Ausvardian names: Solnehaila, Esvalhin, Si'Vala.

Rodaran/Ofrian names are blunt by comparison. The Souveik (All-Mulhara's Puppet Dogs) each have one syllable names. (Ille, Szo, Dten, Tie, and Ser). Almost every Rodaran name is an onomatopoeia, as Rodaran's speak through synthetic voice boxes. Their natural language consists of a bunch of electronic and mechanical noise. Ofrians, being an offshoot, share similar limitations, but some Ofrians take names after plants, food, or animals.

Rodaran names: En, Dta, Oulk.

Ofrian names: Juniper, Doe, Berry, etc.

Szolka names are really cute! In Szolka cultures, since children are communally raised by multiple parents, they're named after their biological parents to keep track!

Djeri, our resident seal-man, is named after his parents Djoden and Sailii. Names follow the same general rules as Algelhi names, without the weird gender stuff. Just make a ship name, and that's the babies name!

well, i'm taking a shot in the dark here... JP fans are wondering if the song Tsukasa is singing at the start of Ch 101 is "Over the Rainbow". curious, i wanted to pull up some sheet music (found here and here) and take a glance, and see if i could discern if it's true.

results: well... <3 i think it looks 'close enough' to me.. And from a storytelling perspective, this makes sense. I figure the scene where Hanako and Nene are in the auditorium, is about unearthing lost(? repressed?) memories of his. It'd be kinda haunting, if Nene is going to put on a play he watched Tsukasa partake in, once.

Anyways... seems like Tsukasa is singing something closer to the instrumental arrangement. which would make sense. (i figure if he was singing it full on, we'd just hear the lyrics, no?) he's likely just ah, vocalizing... but not humming! his mouth is open.

so, you know. doing some little serenade. aa aaaa a aaa...🎶

... i'm not educated enough on either cultuer or music to, know if sheet music is arranged differently in JP / if the discrepancies between these all are 'subtle' or 'egregious'... this is just me guessing...! :'3 i'd love to see someone who can actually interpret music notes, explain what they think... hopefully someone else will make a post about this then. 9.9;

EVENT: BIRTHDAY LIVESTREAM POST TYPE: SOLO

the last schedule of the day for milan is her very own birthday livestream. her first solo livestream at that. working from dawn until dusk on her birthday would've usually annoyed her, but this year, she's thankful for work giving her an excuse to avoid celebrating with her friends. even after more than 2/3rd of the day, she still doesn't feel it.

as shinhye had promised, the staff didn't disappoint with the decoaration; the room is filmed with ballons and decorations all peach, pink and white colored, with glitters here and there and fairies stickers and balloons. but milan has prepared as much herself and she spends the minutes before the beginning of the stream laying her material on the table, including sena's gift from the same morning.

when shinhye signals the beginning of the stream, she's still adjusting her set up to her liking, while greeting people. the number of people joining keep growing for the first several minutes, and while she's surprised to see it bubble up so much, she remains relaxed. this part of the job is the easiest to the young woman.

after several more minutes of waiting for people to join in and the number of viewers has stabilized, she finally goes for her last but official greetings. "hi everybody! thank you so much for joining my birthday stream!" she begins and takes a quick pause to read some of the comments coming. "we have two hours together today! can you guess what we're going to do~?" she asks in on a playful and childish tone. one again, she waits for comments to come in, considering her set up, most are on the nose, though some are quite funny and she reads them out loud. "that's right! we're gonna do nail art! i felt like if it was just me talking to the camera, i would run out of topics to talk too quickly." she explains. the following comments make her chuckle and she reads one out loud "'run out of topics? milan unnie, you seem more like the type who talks in her sleep kekeke'" she can't help but laugh once again, clapping her hand at the same time. "actually, when i'm really tired, i really talk in my sleep and even have conversations with peole if i'm talked to! you should ask minseo. we've been dorming together since we were trainees." the chat seems to explode after this comment, some english comments calling her 'queen yapper'. she might not be very well versed in english, she's online enough to understand most terms related to stan cultuer. "no, i'm not queen yapper!" she says in english. "there are too many yappers in nova!" well, she tried. after reading and answering several more funny comments, milan gets to explaining that she will be doing design inspired by the colors behind her, on a set of fake nails and encourages those who can to join in on the crafting. "unfortunately, since we are promoting, i can't put them on just yet, but i'll do as soon as possible and post a picture on sns!" she promises.

something interesting that she's noticed is that while each fandom have their own colors, even fans of each member appear to have their own little flavor. for instance, milan would say that her fans are quite the free spirit type who like to joke around, talk about various things, some nonsensical, yet nothing eever too deep. they seem to know better than to ask her existential questions, or love advice (actually, any type of advice). and this is how she likes it and how she can keep the flow of conversation going without awkward pauses.

"'tell us dorm stories!' "yes! we want to know how's nova's dorm!'" she reads off several comments mentioning the dorm life. she gazes back at the nail in front of her, needing to concentrate while she places a little gem on it. she hums thoughtfully while doing so, wondering what to say. "there really isn't much to day, really." she admits, once done with her work. "everybody in nova are nice kids, so it's quite uneventful. since the year has been quite busy, most of the time, we just come home and sleep right away" she laughs softly. no washing off makeup, no shower, nothing. just sleep. she has done that more than once, especially during the end year period. "though, i do have a theory about our dorms. should i share it?" she gives a playful glance at shinhye behind the phone. "manager unnie is starting to sweat!" the idol says, teasing the older woman. "actually, minseo, nabi and i share a room, and nayoung unnie, mitzi and sena share the other room. doesn't it feel like they put the reliable kids in one room and the troublesome ones in the other?" she asks, amusement in her voice. "why is everybody laughing? i didn't even say which room is which!" she continues, faking being offended. shinhye has to cover her mouth at that and the comments that come. she even points out a comment that milan reads out loud; "'sharing a room with milan, minseo and nabi would probably be like having a sleepover with your best friends, where you end up chatting until the morning. everyday. aaaaah, seriously, i'd move in the other room after 2 days kekeke'". milan bursts out laughing. "why are you all agreeing? there's only one 'i' in the other room! it might be the true chaos room!" she argues back before letting the fans have their fun, responding here and there to some comments.

"though, i always feel remorseful towards mitzi since she's the only introvert in our group." it's still a little strange to refer to the other girl as mitzi and even stranger not using 'unnie' after her name. curse the calendar system change! "she doesn't complain but i hope we aren't a drain on her energy." she explains. ""if you don't know what to do, go on pann and ask 'how to take care of an introverted friend?''" milan reads the comment to lighten the mood, though her feelings are sincere. "'tell us more about the member!'" milan reads out loud the comment and once again concentrate on what she's currently doing the nail while she's thinking. "i guess i can... well first, i mentioned earlier that these" she points to a set of items "are my birthday gift from our baby boss, skye. even if she's part of the maknae line, as espected, she knows out tastes perfectly!" the young woman has been diligently using some of the gift since the beginning of the stream. that's already two members down. "oh! right!" milan suddenly exclaims, remembering something. she grabs her phone, making sure to clear all the notifications and hide the top part before she shows her screenlock to the camera, which turns out to be a picture of nabi. "lately, I'm totally into our nabi. she's si adorable. my camera roll is filled wi--" a comment catch her attention, which makes her pause. "no!! I haven't dropped nayoung unnie!" she denies vehemently. "it's not the same! Unnie is still my ideal but it's like..." she pauses again, finding the proper words to explain herself. "it's like, I want to be pampered by unnie, but I want to pamper nabi. I want unnie to pat my head and tell me I did a good job. meanwhile I want to squish nabi's cheeks and tell her she's doing a good job!" she finally says as explanation. of course, her fans don't miss the chance to tease her, much to her amusement. "a message for unnie?" she asks and hums thoughtfully before leaning closer to the camera, cupping her hands to her mouth as if sharing a secret. "unnie," she whispers "how are you so perfectly cute and cool? stop making me fall for your charms!" she then chuckles, letting the chat explode as she finishes up one more nail. more than halfway done. "that leaves only minseo" milan remarks without saying anything right away. as the silence prolongs, her expression gets more serious. "well... without minseo there would be no me, to put it simply." the idol finally declares. "because we are so alike, I've always wanted to be a good older sister to her and try to help her avoid the mistakes and pains ive been through. but I lack so much that I end up relying more on her than I wanted. rather than a younger sister, now I see her as a twin that was born in second." she can't help but laugh softly. "I'm too grateful for her, seriously."

the stream continues, with more questions being asked and milan even performing a snippet of eleven (though only after admitting that she has trauma of that song). it continues more naturally than milan would've expected though without comments and requests to latch onto, she knows she wouldn't have managed. when shinhye notifies her that only 2 minutes are left, it's reluctantly that milan announces the end, pouty demeanor taking over. "how should I end this?" she asks, quickly scanning for a satisfying suggestion. "oh! my solo. I can do that!"

honestly he's been looking after Chuck. Castiel is very merciful and Jack is giving him a lot of love. He's also exploring more of Earth and has gotten over Dean completely, it hasn't left permanent damgage. Everyone will hate this but it's what I think. Also anyone can talk to Castiel if they like, he used to be dangerous but he is very open now, has a lot of love to give, esp if you do

I think cas was always soft but he was introduced in a hostile environment and the time that character took to go from cold warrior to being as open as he was by the end was resonable and casteil's character has a lot of growth but also you can see that he has traits that come in veiw as he gets more familiar.

the dea that cas went exploring is fun too, to see him seek the cities and cultuers he knew and saw before and how the evolved and the new ones that have developed and what he learns from it would be so much fun

Book Review: Walking with God Through the Valley

In Walking with God Through the Valley, May Young writes on recovering the purpose of biblical lament. In the introduction, she states that this subject became personal to her when she found herself struggling as a young wife with two small children, married to a pastor who was church planting but was also unfaithful. She felt alone and abandoned, and learned to lament.

Understanding Biblical Lament

The first half of the book provides helpful context for understanding biblical lament. Young defines lament as "expressing the reality of suffering," or more specically expressing what one feels in the midst of pain. It is part of the process of grieving and healing. She explains that lament can be both individual and corporate, and Christians find the Psalms and Lamentation as our primary corpus when examining it is a genre of literature.

When we apply lament to the church, we see how it gives voice to a people in pain, provides an avenue to engage God, and leads us to greater hope. Young gives examples of how ancient eastern cultuers practiced lament, but biblical lament is differnet because it appeals to a God who knows us, cares, and acts on our behalf.

Practicing Biblical Lament

The second half of the book expounds on practicing biblical lament for various situations. Young looks at lament in sin/repentance, doubt/questions, injustice/unfair circumstances and anger, loneliness/abandonment, sickness/physical pain, and finally in death/loss. In these chapters, she provides personal testimonies to show how the process of lament works in practice. I remembered that every story is different, and the church is a place to meet with God despite the pain.

At the end of each chapter, Young offers guidance on how to practice lament in individual and corporate settings. Honesty and expression are at the forefront. This made me realize that it could take time to come to a biblical understanding and practice of lament, and to be patient with God's people.

His Strength Will Sustain

After reading this book, I am encouraged to not shy away from practicing lament in my personal life or in the corporate setting of the church. While I understood lament as a literary genre, I now see how it should inform the life of the Christian. Most of all, I am encouraged by the hope that our God gives to the hurting, and how even in the darkest seasons -- his strength will sustain.

and it is about Rhode Island and the culture. and it is harsh at times mosty laid back and wealthy and calm. mild breazes and luxurous walks and along fine roads iwth huge mansions still lived in and maintaned today. and for the super wealthy yes.

these are places our son loved and lived to go to. and enjoyed liked sandiego too and you all tainted it ab it no a lot are losers. live there and ruin it are street people we liked it helped. and he was thourgouly amused as she was and nearby atching him. and sometimes looked her way she ran mostly lol no saw he could not se her. and was is upset.

they had three rides like this modernand a tram and more nice stuff. fun real. an you could eat like kings. and drink too. lobster oysters tuna and mahi mahi and much more. tons of things to see and look at from the local cultuer now it is run down mostl ruined half the buildings moved no are gutted. smell and rot. gross. and are beyond it we feel. a ew are of entwood and are ok. no. were not made of it. sink into the ground sadness in our sons heart. we see. we will resurect it. but rhode island there is a mess. and it is twenty miles from newport. we like his ideas and his mom and the rock too. teary eyed. they love it ok will try it and thesee will have to do lol they will love it too. the food is similar ok lol has had it loves it. man those were fun days he had only a few ten or so she recalls. true. but remembers them vividly.
