one of the funniest things about dead boy detectives is that age gaps are not a thing. like technically speaking the gap between crystal and charles is 19 years. the gap between charles and edwin is 73 years. edwin and the cat king? probably centuries, who knows. monty the human was only about a week old when he had his first kiss with someone who'd existed for over a century. and yet they're all sixteen-ish (minus cat king who, once again, is a mystery.) we love to see it
