Also! About the updated perfume bottle, I thought it would be good for three reasons; 1. Lets Bruce’s hair stand out against the pink, compared to the original Purple hue. 2. Symbolism RAHHHHH!!! He cant escape his boy band box of pink and roses 3. Pretty.

Sure! Here’s a little somethin’ somethin’:

So, Branch didn’t confess his feelings to Poppy at the end of Word Tour, he felt like it needed to be its own thing and that Poppy deserved to be in the moment after saving the world. He thought there’d be plenty of time to confess later. They still have a good connection though now that they’re better at communicating.

They’re out in the hot air balloon on another adventure when a strong wind knocks them off course towards the woods near the base of Mount Rageous and they get stuck in a tree. They aren’t able to shift the balloon on their own so when they see Velvet and Veneer (who are out hunting for Trolls to use) they ask them for help, but instead V&V capture them.

V&V now have a Troll to use each (His and Hers Trolls) and because Velvet is more trigger happy with the spray bottle, Poppy deteriorates quicker than Branch.

like with his brothers, his own family, he never felt taken seriously. he was the joke. but velvet and veneer...at least here his talent is something useful to em. not just a joke.

Lil indulgent headcanon that Twilight's still around but she disguises herself as a traveling earth pony librarian named Velvet Starshine (Argyle's mommy hehe). Her little necklace is charmed and disguises her appearance. She never ages so she moves towns constantly and never gets too attached to anypony no more.

I imagine in Crystal Poppy Au or even both Poppy and Keith, the leaders of Mount Rageous are SCRAMBLING with the scandal and the potential repercussions. Two of their top hit idols actively attacked and kidnapped ROYALTY! And if Velvette and Veneer sowmhow didn't realize the pink troll they grabbed was a royal, they'd be freaking out too (might be the only thing to get Velvette to actually stop and consider the consequences of her actions, being faced with actual war crime charges)

Veneer is having a complete panic attack once he learns exactly who Poppy is. Like, this isn't something he'll get a slap on the wrist for. This troll is the leader of a nation. Someone who has power to fuck them over big time.

Velvet just doesn't care. To her Poppy is a tiny midget, a mere tool to use towards her rise to fame. In her mind, she can't think that Poppy actually has any power at all Queen or not. Why would she be worried about hurting a troll queen, they can't do anything.
