A while back, Legend was on a solo mission that had led him into an asteroid field and his ship took damage. Luckily, there was a space station nearby that he could land on and try for repairs. The Windfish Station was long abandoned but the power was still running. After landing only sort of crashing into the hanger he was greeted by the stations A.I., Marin. Marin helps Legend locate parts for his ship and she asks him to tell her about his adventures.

The station is old and crumbling, it wont last for much longer. Legend asks Marin if she wants to come with him. She says yes. But she cant leave without making sure the station and the data on it cant be claimed by monsters. So legend suggests blowing it up. Marin is sad but agrees. But she has always wanted to see more than the station so she is excited.

Legend repairs his ship and sets charges around the station.

Marin doesnt survive being extracted from the stations computer.

Always hated the way according to TB I'm supposed, as a woman, to root for Rhaenyra "Mary Sue" Targaryen because she's a Valyrian woman and can't do no wrong. As if this isn't the same girl who coerced her bodyguard because her erectile disfunction uncle didn't wanna bang her after leaving her in a brothel, naked and on plain sight for any kind of perverted brute. As if this isn't the same girl who weaponized both her and her best friend's trauma to twist a truth about something she very willingly did that could've had her disowned if her father was anyone else other than the weak ass neglectful rapist pedo father she had instead.

This is the same girl who ignored and mistreated Alicent when all she did was convince Viserys to allow her privileges she never had, like choosing a husband. Like it or not, it was Alicent the one who gave gave and gave, and Rhaenyra the one who took took and took and even MOCKED, time and time again. The same girl who acted like a victim when the girl she called her literal best friend (only when it benefitted her) was getting maritally R*PED in the next room by her crusty ass father. I'm supposed to root for a woman who doesn't do one single thing for the claim she feels so entitled to (who was purely based on Viserys' grief and guilt for Aemma)? I'm supposed to root for the woman who wants to be the exception, not give possibilities to other women like an ACTUAL feminist does? jace is not ‘pushing for war’ in the same way aegon and aemond are, and to insinuate so is ridiculous 😭

aemond specifically started a war because of his butthurt ego and inability to control his dragon, aegon celebrates this fact with a party. jace just doesn’t want his brothers death to be in vain and knows that his and his families lives are forfeit if they don’t fight back. he’s one of the only male characters in fire and blood that has to deal with the repercussions of misogynistic attacks; his mother is usurped (on account of her gender), loyalists at court (that he surely knew) were put to death for supporting his mother, she loses his baby sister in a traumatic stillbirth because of the usurpation, his brother is murdered in cold blood (he most likely blames himself for the plan that sent him to storm’s end), he’s going to die thinking he failed to save yet another brother. why would he not push for war? and why are violent misogynist one and two (who STARTED the war in the first place) allowed to react, to want revenge, to want to hurt others in response to their losses, but jace isn’t?

we can complain about the way the show frames women as the pacifist pushovers to the men being violent warmongers all day long but jace of all the male characters on screen is *not* included in that, come ON people 😒

Because respectfully, no, I don't. I don't owe anyone queer-platonic love, I don't owe anyone platonic love, hell I don't even owe anyone familial love. How about we separate the idea of loving someone and caring for someone. I care about my friends. I care about my family.
