I know I’ve already made a post about the parable but I do wanna also say I adore how on first glance, it’s a generic office setting until you start actually observing it closely. but more specifically the way the white glow from the windows is meant to be like, sunlight shining into the building. but then when you finally pause to take a peak of the outside world, you’re only to be met with a seemingly never ending white void. idk perhaps I am focusing so much on such a small thing but it’s just. such a thing to process. the way everything is so normal when you don’t look into the small details.

Another day, another trip to their Boss’s Office to be chastised for all they’ve purportedly done wrong. The threat of being fired doesn’t bother Employee #432. At this point, they’d welcome it! Still, these meetings are always a chore…

Tuning the yelling out, they let their eyes drift over the room’s decor. Perhaps they’ll “borrow” a book sometime. Might be nice to vary the painful monotony of endless workplace life. What they wouldn’t give to listen to some music!

Now 432’s gaze falls on the piano, tucked in the corner of the room. It’s a lovely piano, with a smooth black paint job and glossy keys. A beautiful instrument like that must make wonderful music, but… Gosh, they don’t think they’ve seen anyone touch that thing, in, well, ever! Does the Boss even know how to play? They doubt it. To have such a lovely object and never let it fulfill its purpose—what nonsense! How sad for the piano to be capable of so much, yet denied completion of the very task it’s made for! Unbearable.

Me too, piano, thinks 432. Me too.

The only way, they think, to resolve this tragedy, was if the piano could achieve greatness in some other way. If only there were people out there who saw the piano and met its unrealized potential with recognition—who admired it in spite of forced shortcomings. Yes, 432 is sure of it! That would give the piano meaning. But how to do it? Hmm. Maybe, 432 decides, if there was to be some sort of competition: a chance for all the best minor locations of this office prison to prove their worth. Surely, the piano would reign supreme. Surely, it would have its time to shine.

432 pulls their eyes away from the piano, looking back at their Boss’s reddened face, and then at his desk.

(There’s a pencil on it. They imagine what it would feel like in the palm of their hand.)

Surely, surely one day, a melody will echo down these looping halls, intertwined with a sharpener’s whir and a tick-tick-tick. They can almost hear it, if they try…

For context, this is one of the audios that play while Stanley is dreaming/unconscious in the infinite hole. OP does mention Stanley's wife in the tags, which makes sense considering the vocals. However:

"Two twin souls finding each other in the wrong lifetime" as one of the lyrics really does remind me of two characters in particular…

In the perspective that this is not just a fun easter egg of a team member's favorite song… it could also be the hole itself speaking as Stanley subconsciousness. In an eerily intimate way, considering the way it is edited. (The actual song I linked feels much more "welcoming yet melancholy" rather than horror-esque.) I've seen others mention how it may be the Narrator speaking to his creation through the hole as well. All interpretations are welcome here, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, haha.

the narrator would see homophobia and tell stanley that “we can’t have sexual tension anymore. people aren’t playing “The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe” because we’re gay. this is all your fault, Stanley!”

and stanley is like really confused and says something like [i literally do nothing in the game you’re the one writing stupid notes about adding my nudes to the game and saying that you need me. plus half of the appeal to the game IS the tension. also there’s like 5 people total who care about that]

and the narrator doesn’t care so stanley visits the settings person and they go onto the crowsx3 twitter and starts reposting stanarrator art, causing more gay people to flock to the game.

tsp has a resurgence, suddenly every gay person in the world is playing The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. crowsx3 makes a dating spin off with every character. the narrator’s route is the top route played.

TSP:UD becomes a symbol for gay rights. every gay person on earth is liberated and gets $20. TSP then becomes a symbol for all freedoms. a perfect world arises in honor of The Stanley Parable.

to celebrate? crowsx3 confirms that stanarrator is canon and releases an insanely graphic sex scene. there’s blood and gore in it.
