I was putting all my eggs in a basket. But, I must have taken too long because they all turned into birds!
Crochet cockatiel, budgie, caique, African grey, Indian ringneck, and plum-headed parakeet are patterns made by me (link in bio).

Hey Guys,
Back with another post!
Still running with the Halloween theme! And so this time, I'd like to introduce Cat in a Pumpkin! I took ages deciding whether I should have a tail or not, but in the end I chose both. I made the tail detachable and by detachable I mean I didn't attach it HAHAHAHAHAHA.
But hey, my indecisiveness leads to more content for you, right? Hah, anyway I love it and I hope you do too.
Enjoy! Until next time, keep creative!

crochet christmas tree pattern
Creating a realistic amigurumi Christmas tree involves a bit more shaping and texture to mimic the branches and overall look of a tree. Here's a realistic amigurumi Christmas tree pattern with clear instructions.
Materials Needed
Green yarn (worsted weight for a solid structure, or textured yarn for a more realistic look)
Brown yarn (for optional base)
3.5mm crochet hook
Polyester stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors
Optional: beads, embroidery thread, or sequins for decoration
Pattern: Realistic Amigurumi Christmas Tree
Tree Body (Cone Shape)
Round 1: Start with a magic ring. Work 6 single crochets (SC) into the ring. Pull tight. (6 stitches)
Round 2: Increase in each stitch (2 SC per stitch). (12 stitches)
Round 3: 1 SC in the next stitch, 2 SC in the next stitch; repeat around. (18 stitches)
Round 4: SC in each stitch around. (18 stitches)
Round 5: 1 SC in the next 2 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch; repeat around. (24 stitches)
Round 6: SC in each stitch around. (24 stitches)Continue increasing every other round by spacing the increases further apart, like this:
Round 7: 1 SC in the next 3 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. (30 stitches)
Round 8: SC in each stitch around.
Round 9: 1 SC in the next 4 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. (36 stitches)
Repeat until your tree is the desired size. Stuff the tree lightly as you go.
Adding Realistic Branch Texture
To mimic the layered look of branches:
Surface Crochet Layers (Optional): Use the front loops only of some rounds to add chains that stick out like branches.
Attach yarn to a front loop. Chain 4-6, slip stitch back into the same stitch, and repeat around the round.
You can also add small picot stitches or use fluffy yarn for branch-like effects.
Optional Tree Base
Switch to brown yarn and work in the back loops only of the last row of the tree.
Round 1: SC evenly around.
Rounds 2-5: Continue SC in each stitch around to form a cylinder-like trunk.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Decorations
Garland: Use gold or silver thread to weave spirals around the tree.
Ornaments: Sew small beads, buttons, or pom-poms onto the tree.
Star: Crochet a simple star to attach at the top.
Snow Effect: Lightly brush white yarn or attach small tufts of white fiber to the branches.

I made a walking mushroom backpack for my Chilchuck Cosplay. I'm so happy how the backpack turned out. It's so cute and I can't wait to wear it!
I used the mushroom backpack pattern by @hookitupcrocheting and added a few details.
It's a great pattern and easy to follow!

I've been on a reading kick lately, so I decided to decorate my Kindle. I also crocheted a sleeve for it. 🖤
