After Eli's talk with Octavia, he travels to the city to confront Cho.

Saving Face: Scene V

Location: Cho's studio

Cho: What are you doing here Eli?

Eli: You know what I'm doing here. I caught some of your little interview with Octavia.

Cho: *Cho chuckles* That's cute darling but nothing I do is little. You on the other hand.

Eli: Funny Cho. I would like to see if you can still crack a smile if you have no guests to welcome on Sul Sul. I have no problem with destroying everything my hand help build here. Do you?

Cho: Let's get into what this is really about Eli because it's not about me. You're upset about the CEO comment. It eats you up inside to know that your daughter is gunning for your position, and the scary part is that she might win. That "little" interview is gaining a lot of traction. People love her and so will the board. If anyone is on their way to destruction around here it's you.

Eli: You have one option. Only one. Stop talking about Octavia taking over the business or I'll make you. I don't like being the bad guy Cho, but I will play that role to keep my family and the company safe. You of all people know why she can't be CEO. Stop adding fuel to a fire that I'm trying to put out and keep out.

Cho: * puts hands in a prayer position* God give me the strength not to hurt him. *looks up at Eli* If you do anything to hurt my business, you won't just have to worry about your daughter taking your seat because I'll take it. I'll sue you for everything that you have Eli. Why can't you just own up to your own mess? Of course, you're not the bad guy, you are never the bad guy. That title belongs to me at least that's how Octavia sees it. Part of me feels bad for Judith Ward for having to put up with your crap, and that's saying something coming from me because I dislike her more than you.

Eli: Judith is none of your business and neither am I. Just do what I say Cho and you live to stream another day.

After Octavia leaves her father's office.

Location: Del Sol Valley Records

Vanessa: Should we cut your father's brakes now or later?

Octavia: Maybe later... what's news? What did I miss when I was out?

Vanessa: Nicole is hounding you about finding the last cast member for Rise to Fame, Rhys is missing as you just heard from your father, and we have about 240 audition tapes to review and that's just for today. Also, Holly said that since you didn't answer any of her text messages that all three of us are going to some lounge tomorrow night.

Octavia: I don't have time for a lounge.

Nicole: You sure don't. Why is it so difficult for you and your brother to answer the phone?

Octavia: Hello to you to Nicole.

Nicole: I don't want your hello. I want the final cast member for Rise to Fame, and I want you and your brother to start answering your phones. I am giving you a deadline. You have until midnight this Monday and if I don't have your submission than I will pick from the tapes myself.

*Nicole leaves*

Vanessa: How did Rhys deal with that for two years?

Octavia: He was high for half of it.

Vanessa: That's not funny Octavia... okay maybe a little. * Vanessa laughs*

Eli Moon: Have you lost all the brain cells God gave you Octavia? What is this interview with Cho? Did you even talk to Deigo in PR before taking it? You just added more fuel to this PR nightmare. What is wrong with you?

Octavia: Nothing is wrong with me. I did what I had to do. I promoted Rise to Fame, and I also broke the silence since Mel's disappearance. If you ask me this was a win, but of course you don't see it that way because I can never, please you. If this was anyone else, you would be giving them a pat on the back. So instead of asking what is wrong with me, ask yourself what is wrong with you?

Eli: I have an ungrateful child that's what is wrong with me. I've done everything for you and your brother. And you know what? Maybe that's the problem. Rhys is strung out and you - you're

Octavia: I'm crazy that's what you want to say?

Eli: I would never call you that because you're not.

Octavia: Just be honest with yourself dad, you are not mad at the interview but at what was said during the interview. You don't want me to take over Del Sol Valley Records because you don't think I'm mentally fit. The truth is that you would rather have Rhys who is drugged out of his mind or even Thorne who is not even your kin, shoot you might even want a dog in that chair, anyone but me!

Eli: Enough Octavia! You think you know things and you have no idea. Did it ever occur to you at least once that I am trying to protect you?

Octavia: Protect me? From what? Your bruised ego? Just admit it dad that it kills you to know that I would be a far better CEO than you.

Eli: Octavia we're not having this conversation, you are dismissed. I have something to handle in the city, and you also have work to do, so instead of worrying about a job that you don't have, worry about the responsibilities that you do have like getting Thorne in line, and making sure Rise to Fame is a success, and please call Nicole back in HR , she sent me a message earlier that she was looking for Rhys.

Octavia: Still the same old Cho. I’m starting to see why people call you a mediocre interviewer. I told you not to ask me about my marriage before the cameras started rolling, and not to mention you made me look like crap because you didn't bring up Mel once. I had to do it and at the end of the interview I might add, do you know how that looks Cho?

Cho: Octavia please, business is business and if you don't know that by now, maybe the board needs to rethink their decision about making you CEO. You played your cards well today and I played mine, everyone goes home happy. What is the problem?

Octavia: The problem is that I asked you to do one thing Cho and you couldn't follow through. You owe my family Cho. You owe me. Don't forget where you came from, if it wasn't for my mom and my dad you would be still telling corny jokes at some dusty lounge.

Cho: I don't owe you or the Moon family anything. I was looking out for you today. I was trying to keep that big head of yours above water because Thorne is going to sink that ship of you becoming CEO. Out of the kindest of my heart, I threw you a life raft which you rejected. I gave you a chance to change the narrative and to tell your story, because social media is telling their side, and it is not good.

Octavia: Since when did you become every woman? There is nothing kind about you Cho, you ruin things just like you tried to ruin my mother and my father's marriage. You don't care about anyone or anything but yourself. You were selfish back then and you are selfish now. The next time that the Moon family name comes out of your mouth it better be to sing our praises because if it is not, I’ll have you in the unemployment line faster than you were after that joke of a stand-up comedian career.

Octavia's first interview with Brytani Cho after the disappearance of Mel Lockett as well as her husband's social media mishap.

Cho: Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Sul Sul, we have the pleasure of sitting here today with the very talented, and very beautiful lyrist Octavia Moon. Thank you for joining us today Ms. Moon.

Octavia: It's my pleasure, thank you all for having me and please Cho we have been knowing each other for quite some time, Octavia is fine.

Cho: We have been knowing each other for quite some time, so I say this with all the love in the world, you are a treasure and speaking of treasure what is this talk about you taking over Del Sol Valley records?

Octavia: Is that what people are talking about now of days?

Cho: Well... that and that husband of your latest social media mishap. How are you and Thorne Bailey? Oh, and little Orange?

Octavia: We’re great thanks for asking.

Cho: That’s all we’re going to get?

Octavia: If you want to know more about my husband, I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to join you here, and he will tell you the same thing that I’m telling you, we’re great and that picture that’s running around social media could be anyone.

Cho: Yes, but not everyone has those tattoos ... but I digress, let us get back to the talk of you taking over your father’s company. Those are some big shoes to fill. Your father has brought many household names to the limelight and now that pressure will be on you. Are you in any way pressured by your father’s success?

Octavia: My father’s success is the Moon family’s success and speaking of success, we are still in search of the last member to join our reality tv show, Rise to Fame.

Cho: Yes, Rise to Fame, I remember last season, viewers are still raving about that show, that’s how Sol Evans made an appearance. What can we expect from Rise to Fame this season? Will you or Thorne be hosting this season?

Octavia: You can expect to see many surprises this season we are bringing nothing but exciting energy. We have a great cast already, and we hope that you guys will enjoy it because we show the hills as well as the valleys to fame.

Cho: Well, you heard it here people, the Moon family is doing just great, and please send in those submissions because it could be your face that we see on the next season of Rise to Fame. Rio's success seemed to come overnight as he was casted on Rise to Fame (pilot season) and became a name not just in the valley but across the world.
